When planning our wedding, we had originally been assigned a day-of coordinator by our venue. Unfortunately, this individual fell short of our expectations, lacking attentiveness a...
nd citing exhaustion from a previous event as the reason for their subpar performance. This is where AnneMarie came into the picture, transforming potential chaos into a flawlessly executed celebration.
From the outset, AnneMarie demonstrated professionalism and a keen eye for detail. She took charge of crafting a coherent timeline, which she followed meticulously throughout the event. Dinner service was seamless under her guidance, a task that often turns problematic in less capable hands.
Our wedding party was sizeable, consisting of 14 members, each with their own needs and schedules. AnneMarie managed this effortlessly, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be without a single hiccup. More personally, she was there for me in a way I hadn't anticipated, helping to bustle my dress and providing much-needed reassurance just before I walked down the aisle.
It’s easy to underestimate the value of a day-of coordinator, to assume all will go well without professional oversight. However, AnneMarie’s performance is a testament to the crucial role such a professional plays in the success of a wedding. She wasn’t just a coordinator; she was a pillar of support for myself and everyone involved.
For anyone on the fence about investing in a day-of coordinator, or those who believe one coordinator is much like another, I urge you to consider AnneMarie. Her dedication and effort were beyond compare, providing not just coordination, but genuine care and attention that elevated our entire wedding experience.
I cannot recommend AnneMarie highly enough. Her services were not only a lifeline in a moment of need but the backbone of our event's success. Thank you, AnneMarie, for making our special day truly unforgettable.
Sara is the dream day of coordinator! She was super helpful before the wedding, creating the floor plan, day of timeline and communicating with vendors to ensure the day would run ...
smoothly. She truly understands your wedding vision and then executes it to perfection! We cannot thank Sara enough for all her help. Book her in now, you won't regret it!
SoMa Events made it so I didn’t have to think on my wedding day!!! So thankful to have had them and they made everything run so smoothly! They set everything up, cleaned up, and I ...
was even able to rent a lot of my decor through them which made it super easy!
I cannot recommend SoMa Events enough! Anne Marie, Sara, and their whole team were an absolute pleasure to work with. We brought them in last minute because of some additional need...
s we had for decor at our wedding, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process.
Not only were they nice and professional, but they truly went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. Despite all the craziness of the wedding day, we felt so lucky to have their support and expertise.
Overall, SoMa Events exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our special day even more beautiful. If you're looking for a wedding vendor who is not only talented but also wonderful to work with, look no further than SoMa Events.

ated as such. You become family. They have such a wonderful team that is not only hard-working, organized, and efficient, but friendly and respectful. They listen to you and they hear you. They have a great design eye and know just about every trick out there. Cool under pressure and fearless - I highly recommend.
I typically shy away from writing reviews unless I actually believe in something or care about something. I’m like Ron Swanson, you could say (if you’ve ever seen Parks and Rec). Y...
’all, that something is SoMa Events. Sara and AnneMarie are beyond organized; they listened to me and helped turn my disorganized ideas into a beautiful, well-thought-out romantic fantasy of a wedding. When I tell you we got compliments all night, I really was handing out referrals for SoMa Events like they were candy at our candy bar. 🍭 I was a very happy camper and so was the rest of my family. For everyone in the family to get what they want in a wedding, be able to have coordinated seamlessly with the venue and vendors, and get us a lot of discounts is truly an impossible thing and AnneMarie and Sara actually made that happen. I always thought planning a wedding was supposed to be stressful — isn’t that what everyone says? But y’all, do yourselves a favor and go with SoMa. I was actually shocked that it was stress-free for me, only having to make “this” or “that” decisions, tasting food, giving my honest opinions. It was because I felt listened to and heard, not rushed, given great and seasoned advice. It was the difference between a stressful, not fun wedding and the wedding of my dreams. Given the option, I’d do it all over again with SoMa Events.

th us consistently throughout the planning and answered all of questions. We asked for changes along the way and they accommodated us all within schedule. The day of the wedding everything was flawless. They planned it so well they eliminated the stress from us. We strongly recommend SoMA for any event planning. Also the cost was very reasonable.
AnneMarie and Sara are the very best! Because of them, my daughter and I were STRESS-FREE and able to enjoy everyone and everything the day of the wedding! Prior to the wedding, ...
they not only took care of EVERY detail, they also helped to keep us calm and at times talked us off the "ledge!" They took care of planning, accommodations, vendors, transportation, decorations...whatever we needed. The night of the rehearsal, Sara was quick to inform everyone that IF anything went wrong, the bride and groom and the parents were to know NOTHING about it, that they should be notified and that they would take care of it, because that was their job and they were good at it. WOW!!!!! Nothing did go wrong, and EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect! I would recommend them over and over again. They cannot be beat!
