Lisa is amazing while we did not choose This venue it was beautiful! Perfectly tailored for a small wedding. Lisa was extremely warm, welcoming, collaborative and was very up front...
and honest about her reviews and the reason why she has a few negative remarks out here. We rule loved her energy we just ran through our guest list and had to choose a different location. Would 100% recommend

ed a bartender. This agency even provided the bartender. she harrased me and literally all of the guests asking us what was in our cups and checking everything. we didn't mind to just drink and celebrate after the wedding as I don't even drink. but she made us feel soooooo uncomfortable. I cannot believe she would ruin such a special day. the bride is so distraught

or the bride and guests.
During both the ceremony and reception, she behaved unprofessionally by repeatedly questioning guests about what drinks were being served by her bartender. She also gave the bridesmaids no privacy while they were getting dressed, frequently entering the room and looking around where their personal belongings were kept, which made everyone uncomfortable.
What was most upsetting was seeing her accuse the bride of stealing a napkin, only for her husband to later find it. An accusation like that on someone's wedding day was completely inappropriate and embarrassing.
Overall, her behavior made guests feel uneasy and added unnecessary tension to what should have been a joyful celebration. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this venue.
I normally don't leave negative reviews, but after witnessing everything that happened during my best friend's wedding, I feel it's important to share our experience.

elf is beautiful, but unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by how the event was managed.
From the beginning of the planning process, communication with the owner, Lisa, was frustrating. There were multiple instances where information changed, and commitments that had been communicated earlier were later contradicted, creating unnecessary stress for the bride and groom.
Although she was not hired as the wedding planner, she frequently attempted to direct and micromanage the wedding. During the rehearsal, she came across as unwelcoming rather than supportive, which immediately created tension leading into the wedding weekend.
One of the most stressful situations involved the bartender she encouraged the bride to use. We were told everything had been verified, including the necessary permits. However, just two days before the wedding, the bartender contacted the bride to explain that she did not have the proper credentials to serve alcohol. This created a last-minute crisis that no couple should have to deal with days before their wedding.
Another concern involved security. We were told that if alcohol was served, an armed security guard would be required to remain outside during the event. In the end, there was no alcohol being served, yet the armed guard was inside the venue throughout the reception, walking around with his hand on his firearm. Many guests commented that his presence made them uncomfortable and changed the atmosphere of what should have been a joyful celebration.
We were also told Lisa would not be present on the wedding day. However, she was there throughout the event, approaching guests to ask what was in their cups and repeatedly entering the bridal suite while the bride and bridesmaids were changing. This felt intrusive and made several people uncomfortable.
Instead of helping create a memorable experience, the bride and groom spent much of their wedding day dealing with unnecessary stress. The atmosphere became so uncomfortable that they chose to end the reception early, and they didn't even get the opportunity to serve their wedding cake.
To make matters worse, at the end of the evening, the couple was threatened to have their $1,500 security deposit withheld because of one missing cloth napkin. After everything they had experienced throughout the planning process and on the wedding day, this was incredibly disappointing.
A wedding should be one of the happiest days of a couple's life. Unfortunately, instead of feeling supported, this couple spent far too much of their special day managing avoidable problems. While the venue itself is beautiful, our overall experience was deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend it based on the way this event was handled.
I have attended and participated in many weddings throughout my life as both a guest and bridal crew member. This was by far the worst venue experience I have ever witnessed, and i...
t was entirely due to the venue owner’s behavior.
The venue owner's unprofessional behavior began at the rehearsal, where she was rude to the bride and wedding planner. The venue owner also had an unnecessary uniformed officer patrolling the venue during rehearsal.
The poor behavior continued on to the wedding day. Prior to the ceremony, while us bridesmaids were in the powder room changing, the venue owner frequently and abruptly entered the room.
One example out of many incidents, was to hand the bride her bouquet. I offered to give the bride the bouquet due to the bride changing into the wedding gown at the time. The venue owner refused and insisted on handing the bouquet herself to the bride. The venue owner eventually handed the bride the bouquet. The interaction was incredibly awkward. There was no “Congratulations” or warm greeting—it was a cold, intimidating stare that made everyone in the room uncomfortable.
As previously mentioned the venue owner repeatedly entered the powder room throughout the reception, where the bridal party’s personal belongings were being kept, despite there appearing to be no reason to do so. It made the entire bridal party uneasy.
The venue owner also had the fully uniformed police officer walking throughout the ceremony and reception, along with the patrol car outside the venue with the emergency lights flashing the entire time. All guests were inquiring if there was something wrong because it appeared as if there was an emergency. Instead of providing a welcoming atmosphere, the venue owner created an uncomfortable and hostile environment.
To make matters worse, the venue owner repeatedly questioned guests about whether they had alcohol in their cups, which only added to the tension. The bartender was suggested and provided through the venue owner.
The most heartbreaking part was seeing the bride and groom end their reception early due to the pressure, poor atmosphere and behavior provided by the venue owner. A wedding should be a joyful celebration, not an event where the couple and their guests feel on edge.
Based on what I personally witnessed, I would not recommend this venue. I wish i could give 0 stars, but TheKnot makes you put at least one, SMH. The owner’s conduct overshadowed what should have been one of the happiest day for the newlyweds.
As a member of the bridal party, I am beyond disappointed by what I witnessed at this venue. I have been to many weddings over the years, and I have never experienced anything this...
unprofessional, uncomfortable, or disrespectful. Instead of helping create one of the happiest days of my friend’s life, the venue owner became one of the biggest sources of stress.
From the rehearsal through the wedding itself, the owner’s behavior was cold, confrontational, and completely lacking in hospitality. Rather than making the bride, groom, and their guests feel welcome, she created an atmosphere where people felt watched and on edge. 😡
The most disturbing part was the constant police presence. A fully uniformed police officer patrolled the rehearsal and the wedding while a marked patrol vehicle sat outside with its emergency lights flashing. Guests repeatedly asked if something terrible had happened because it looked like there was an emergency. It was embarrassing, distracting, and completely changed the atmosphere of what should have been a joyful celebration. Many of us were left wondering why a private wedding was being treated this way.
The venue owner also repeatedly questioned guests about whether they had alcohol in their cups. Instead of treating the wedding guests with professionalism and respect, it felt as though everyone was under suspicion. The crazy thing about it was she, the owner, was the one who hired the bartender. It was unnecessary, uncomfortable, and completely inappropriate for a wedding celebration.
What hurts me the most is seeing what this experience did to my friend. As someone standing beside the groom throughout the day, I watched the excitement slowly turn into disappointment, frustration, and anger. Newly weds should have to spend her wedding worrying about the conduct of the venue owner instead of enjoying one of the most important days of their life. It was heartbreaking to watch.
After the wedding, I also learned that my friends have continued to face unnecessary difficulties regarding the return of their security deposit. Based on what they shared, they have been pressured over cleanup responsibilities despite what they believe their contract required, and they are now having to fight to recover money they feel they are rightfully owed, even though they maintain there was no damage to the property. We were of of the last people to exit the property so we know this for a fact: the place was cleaned by the entire bridal party, myself included. This was supposed to be done be her staff and as a result, we were forced to end our friend’s wedding reception early. ⚠️ If you don’t want to experience the same frustration, DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE!!!
A wedding venue should provide professionalism, hospitality, and peace of mind. Instead, this venue left an entire bridal party talking about the owner’s behavior instead of celebrating the beautiful marriage we had gathered to witness.
I would NEVER recommend this venue to anyone planning one of the most important days of their life. Couples deserve to feel celebrated—not monitored, intimidated, or burdened with unnecessary conflict. There are far too many wonderful venues in Georgia to risk having your special day overshadowed by an experience like this.
Lisa did the flowers for my daughter’s wedding. They were beautiful. Lisa was an absolute professional and everything was perfect.
