I had such a great experience with Something Blue! Our lead stylist Alicia L was AMAZING - she made me look and feel so beautiful. She matched my inspo pictures perfectly and was so kind and fun to work with. Wedding morning went so smoothly, I was never worried about our timeline or stressed in a time crunch at all. Having Something Blue as our hair and make up team was a huge part of how seamless our wedding day was able to run!

I booked with Something Blue for hair and makeup and had Alicia as my stylist. She was amazing! She incorporated my feedback at every step of the way, including trying multiple different styles at the trial. She was friendly, nonjudgmental about any blemishes, and very talented. My hair did not budge at all the entire night despite a lot of jumping and dancing! My bridesmaids were all very happy too.

Something Blue came highly recommended when my husband and I booked with our venue. Something Blue was able to provide hair and make up, which was exactly what I was looking for. Everything from start to finish was very professional and as soon as I booked with Something Blue, Andi provided me with helpful tips leading up to my wedding day. Everything was very well organized and pricing was laid out so it was easy to read and understand. Alicia, my lead stylist, was very professional with communication and also very quick to respond, which was great! She was able to answer all of my questions and my trial was everything I could have asked for. Conversations flowed naturally and she was so much fun to work with! On my wedding day, my hair and make was exactly the way I pictured it. My bridesmaids were also very happy with the services that were provided by Alicia's team. It was awesome that Alicia and her team fit right into our group as we were getting ready. Great vibes throughout the entire morning! We had a pretty large group with 6 bridesmaids, my mother and I all getting hair and make up done. Alicia and her team were efficient and we actually finished ahead of schedule! If you are looking for a great hair and make up team, Something Blue Stylists is the way to go!

I am so happy that I chose Something Blue Stylists to work with for my wedding day. From start to finish I had such an easy process, from scheduling, to trials, and getting all of my questions answered. I had the privilege working with Hannah, and she was the perfect stylist for me. I love her personality so much! She was such a light on my big day and went above and beyond to make sure everything was what I hoped for. I was a Texas bride, and she made it easy for me to get in during travels for my trials while I was in town for additional pre-wedding appointments. Both her and her assistant stylist made all of us ladies feel incredible on my wedding day and I cannot say thank you enough!

Starting from the very initial inquiry, they were timely with responses, organized with their awesome platform, and easy to communicate with and understand. I thought their pricing was very fair as I compared them to other local options for the big day. I loved my trial with Brittney and felt very at ease during the whole process. Post trial, I had a few changes I wanted to make for the big day and Brittney listened to exactly what I wanted to see adjusted. I ended up looking and feeling my absolute best on the big day. The bridesmaids and moms also felt fabulous with their hair and make up. The whole team that SBS brought were professional and super prepared. They had touch up bags, touch up lipstick and even cute heart straws available to help keep us looking our best. I would definitely recommend!

Andi was absolutely amazing to work with on the day of my wedding! She was very prepared and took her time with each girl sitting in her chair. She’s very personable and made everyone feel very comfortable! I had professional hair and makeup done in the past, but none compared to how great of a job Andi did for me on my special day! I loved working with Something Blue Stylists! Andi was super professional and helpful during the initial phases of figuring out cost estimates and availability. My assigned stylist was Kayla and she was amazing! At my trial, she worked with me to come up with such a beautiful look for both makeup and hair. On the wedding day, her and her hair stylist made sure everyone felt relaxed and worked with my bridesmaids to figure out looks that complimented them all beautifully. My wedding was in southwest Michigan, and they arrived right on time and got through everyone in an efficient manner! I loved the ease of having both hair and makeup done by the same vendor. I cannot recommend their services enough!

Brittney was my stylist and I cannot say enough kind words about her!!! I had very little idea what I wanted going in, and she was excellent at helping me find my wedding look and walking me through the process so I felt confident AND BEAUTIFUL! She and her assistant were so great with my bridesmaids as well!!! They worked fast and carefully so that the bridal party looked stellar for the event! Brittney stayed to do touch-ups and she was an absolute delight. She went far above and beyond, and was just such a great and professional person! I’ve never felt more beautiful!!! Makeup was something that was really important to me for my wedding and something I was really nervous about. Kayla came through and had me looking and feeling amazing. Even through the warm Summer day and dancing my makeup and hair held up through it. Highly recommend.

I work with Andi and the Something Blue team professionally quite often, so when it was my turn to get married, they were the first (and only) that I reached out to to be part of our big day! Andi was our main stylist and artist for the day. Andi is kind, fun, upbeat, punctual, professional, and talented. Andi took the few buzz words I had rolling around and truly created my perfect style! I truly feel so lucky that I was able to have them be part of our big day! Hair and makeup is arguably the most photographed aspect of your big day when you think about it, so why settle for anything less than the best?!

Alicia is A M A Z I N G!!! She is the nicest, most calming, wonderful stylist I’ve had the pleasure of working with! She is the best hype woman and a pleasure to work with. She was amazing with all of my bridesmaids and my hair and makeup and made me feel so beautiful! Best of all, she was amazing with my flower girl and made her look beautiful despite her being a typical five year old and wiggling, dancing, whining, etc. If I had to go back and do it all again I would book her a billion times over!

Wow, I cannot say enough amazing things about Andi and her team. She is super responsive which makes planning a wedding so much easier. She’s such a hype girl and made the morning of the wedding so fun. I felt so great about my hair and makeup, and all my bridesmaids/other girls loved theirs as well. My MIL was self conscious of thinning hair, and did a trial with Andi to figure out how to do her hair for the wedding. Andi was super patient and listened to all her concerns, and made suggestions about how to style. My MIL ended up feeling super confident and beautiful. Everything was totally perfect - I would work with Andi again and again and again.

The company was very easy to work with. Brittney, my stylist, is super talented, very professional, and extremely kind. She listened to my ideas, understood what I wanted, offered on point suggestions, and executed it flawlessly.

Something Blue Stylists completely exceeded my expectations for my wedding day and I could not have asked for a better experience! The preparations and logistics made my wedding day so smooth and stress free. I had 10 bridesmaids along with 2 moms that needed hair and makeup and they did so amazing with timing and making sure everyone in the group got exactly what they asked for. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup! Something Blue also made my bridal vision come to life and look better than I could've hoped. We all felt so beautiful thanks to Brittney and her team! I truly cannot recommend this team enough! They are the absolute best!!

Hair and makeup were just as I wanted for the wedding, but when it came to unexpected issues, they were not flexible at all. I had a bridesmaid that had a family emergency and the stylists were not willing to give her her money back. A bit absurd if you ask me.

Kayla was the lead stylist for my wedding day and was an absolute gem! Our wedding trial was seamless and she adjusted things as I asked throughout the process and even gave tips/tricks for upcoming beauty appointments to optimize my intended styles. Her and her second stylist arrived early and were set up before their contracted start time, allowing us to run ahead of schedule which helped tremendously throughout the day. 10/10 experience!

The Something Blue Team is absolutely wonderful to work with! Andi was super helpful answering all my initial questions about their services. She set me up with Brittney for our big day and Brittney was such a shining light during our planning and the day of our wedding. I spoke with Brittney about some skin care concerns during my bridal trial and she helped recommend a good skin care routine leading up to my wedding. Our wedding day was super easy because of Brittney and the Something Blue team. All of my bridesmaids looked wonderful and had nothing but high compliments for Brittney and the team. My hair and makeup looked amazing and held up fantastically through the day (rain, sunshine, and dancing on the dance floor). I've been in several weddings before my own, and I always think it's a good sign when your hair and makeup team can laugh throughout the day with your bridal party - and there was nothing but laughs and happiness throughout the day. I highly recommend the Something Blue Team to any bride looking for an amazing, helpful, and funny team to work with!

Andi and her team were so wonderful! I was amazed at her ability to make my hair look so nice in so many styles at our trial. When it came to the wedding day, the team was incredible working with my 10 bridesmaids, two mothers, and a flower girl. They got through us in just under 4 hours, and were SO NICE the whole time!

Brittney and her team did an incredible job with the bridal party's hair and makeup on our big day. From the beginning, Something Blue Stylists was incredibly organized, and made working with 7 bridesmaid, a bride, and MOB so easy. They arrived early on the wedding day, and performed the services in a very timely manner, and every woman in the bridal party looked absolutely stunning. They kept us on our timeline, and were a joy to work with!

Brittney was my lead stylist, and she was phenomenal! She took my requests for changes from the makeup trial in stride and created something absolutely beautiful! My makeup stayed all day with no issues, and my hair slightly started to fall by the end of the day, but I have really fine hair and wasn't surprised (it never stays in updos the way it's supposed to). The hair was super easy to pin back into place, so no problems there! All of my bridesmaids were incredibly happy with their hair and makeup, as was I. The only issue I had was that I had paid a little extra for my tattoo to be covered on my arm, and I asked multiple times if I needed to do anything to make sure it stayed covered. I was told that it should hold all day without a problem. However, about an hour later, it was already showing. Maybe I rubbed it against something and didn't notice? Anyway, it would have been wonderful to have a little cover-up for it in case something like that were to happen. Overall though, I highly recommend them!

Andi and her team were absolutely amazing! I told her I wanted a 1920s look with fall makeup. She gave me exactly what I wanted! The bridesmaids and mother’s make up look outstanding as well! She went above and beyond my expectations and was also amazingly quick at communicating with me! Do not hesitate to book them!

My lead stylist was Kayla. Her and her whole team were amazing from start to finish. They have this magic way of figuring out what works better for your style and make you look so beautiful yet natural. I was so happy with my trial and how my wedding day look was. All of my bridal party and moms were so impressed with their talent and professionalism. Even my photographer was not worried with the amount of people that were getting ready because this whole team really knew what they were doing and performed it in a very timely manner. Thank you for making us all feel like princesses.

Andi and her team were amazing! Planning a wedding during Covid was unpredictable but Andi was flexible and a great communicator. We had to move our wedding and she was a breeze to work with to get it all moved around. She showed up on time and was very professional with the right amount of fun! We had an absolute blast getting ready and all the girls felt comfortable, pampered, and beautiful! Her work is so natural! I’d definitely recommend working with her and hope to find another reason to work with her myself!

She's organized and created a timeline for the morning of and she stuck to it. She is very efficient with her time. She's a lot of fun to work with and definitely knows what she's doing! My hair held up the entire day/night as well as my makeup even on a hot day in June. I would use Andi over and over again! I can't recommend her enough!

Kayla was the lead stylist for my wedding and she did AMAZING!!! It was 95 degrees out and said felt like 104 and my hair stayed beautifully curled for the entire day. You would have no idea that it was hot and humid out. My makeup was flawless and so natural. Kayla was calm and sweet!!! She was exactly what I needed. They were on time and ran ahead of schedule!! I would 100% use them again and only refer them!

I'd book Andi and her team a million more times if I could! From their timely responses via email, to the adorable care package, constant organization, flawless and impressive makeup skills and more - I was clearly more than satisfied with my experience. I highly recommend booking the Something Blue team for your next event.

Andi and her team were meant to be hair and makeup artists! They did such a wonderful job on my mom's, mother-in-law's, and bridesmaid's hair and makeup - everyone looked stunning. I absolutely loved how my own hair and makeup turned out as well, and really appreciated how well Andi listened to what I envisioned for myself! We were also really impressed with how well everything held up throughout the day, including an extended amount of time outside in the heat for photos. If I were to do it all over again, I would choose Something Blue Stylists without question!

I give a one-star rating for a few reasons. First, while the hair and make-up artistry they do isn't poorly done, it is incredibly subtle. After my trial, my friends told me that they did not notice anything different about me; they said I looked like I was going to work. My hair also instantly fell out in the humidity, which I know is difficult to control, but it should have lasted more than 15 minutes in midwest weather considering the artisits should be used to this challenge. I also had to correct the make-up artist's work during my trial, as she set my lashes crookedly. When I pointed it out to her after several photos were taken (so the trial had clearly ended), she admitted her error and fixed them. Should the customer notice a lash isn't leveled if this were the wedding day? I thought that is what their professional eye would be able to catch since the bride will have enough to think about. I am also giving a one-star review because of their customer service. They only gave me and my bridal party a day or so to decide on what packages we all wanted after the trial. My maid of honor went into labor the same day of my trial; I also explained that two Registered Nurses are in my party, and since they are not typically near their phones during their shifts, they were not able to meet the 24 hour deadline either. I told my stylist all of this and requested an extension - just for another day or a few days - and was denied. I lost the $250 deposit because of their total lack of empathy and understanding. I get that this is a policy they find important, but especially in a pandemic, you think they would give some leeway to nurses and women giving birth. What was also ironic was that they promised to send over the contract cancellation paperwork within 24 hours. When I followed up several days later asking where the paperwork was, they said they needed an extension because the owner was "on vacation". I followed up again - an entire week later - and they FINALLY delivered the paperwork so I could book a new vendor. It's just funny they wouldn't not give me and my bridal party an extension for extreme circumstances, but they needed an extension just because they hadn't planned accordingly for this vacation. I figured they might have a contingency plan, since the 24 hour timelines seem so important to them! I guess they expect that from their busy brides, but not from themselves.

Andi and her team were fabulous! They were on time and made the getting ready process run so smoothly. Andi and her team really want to make you feel beautiful and it shows both in their work and in their attitude as a whole. I brought an inspiration picture to my bridal preview and she helped me pick in the end the exact style I wanted. My bridesmaids and I got so many compliments on how beautiful and natural we looked. Their work is truly unmatched. My makeup stayed on the whole night. Booking Something Blue Stylists was the best decision I could have ever made.

I live out of state and the team was so gracious in helping to book around my schedule for these appointments. Brittney was the lead stylist for the day of my wedding and was absolutely phenomenal. She was so personable & made me feel so comfortable. She was so open & made sure everything looked just exactly how I wanted. The hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids was both gorgeous and natural. I looked like me, but felt like the best, most beautiful version of myself. We had around 9 people getting hair and makeup services done and the team even ended ahead of schedule! I cannot recommend Something Blue Stylists enough.

Andi and Audrey are exceptional. They were a positive addition to the day, we loved having them with us while getting ready. Andi was the most professional vendor I worked with during my wedding – she’s helpful, prompt, and kind! I knew that myself, bridesmaids, and our mother’s would be taken care of and feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident with their hair and makeup.
