I booked with Something Blue for hair and makeup and had Alicia as my stylist. She was amazing! She incorporated my feedback at every step of the way, including trying multiple different styles at the trial. She was friendly, nonjudgmental about any blemishes, and very talented. My hair did not budge at all the entire night despite a lot of jumping and dancing! My bridesmaids were all very happy too.

Something Blue came highly recommended when my husband and I booked with our venue. Something Blue was able to provide hair and make up, which was exactly what I was looking for. Everything from start to finish was very professional and as soon as I booked with Something Blue, Andi provided me with helpful tips leading up to my wedding day. Everything was very well organized and pricing was laid out so it was easy to read and understand. Alicia, my lead stylist, was very professional with communication and also very quick to respond, which was great! She was able to answer all of my questions and my trial was everything I could have asked for. Conversations flowed naturally and she was so much fun to work with! On my wedding day, my hair and make was exactly the way I pictured it. My bridesmaids were also very happy with the services that were provided by Alicia's team. It was awesome that Alicia and her team fit right into our group as we were getting ready. Great vibes throughout the entire morning! We had a pretty large group with 6 bridesmaids, my mother and I all getting hair and make up done. Alicia and her team were efficient and we actually finished ahead of schedule! If you are looking for a great hair and make up team, Something Blue Stylists is the way to go!

I am so happy that I chose Something Blue Stylists to work with for my wedding day. From start to finish I had such an easy process, from scheduling, to trials, and getting all of my questions answered. I had the privilege working with Hannah, and she was the perfect stylist for me. I love her personality so much! She was such a light on my big day and went above and beyond to make sure everything was what I hoped for. I was a Texas bride, and she made it easy for me to get in during travels for my trials while I was in town for additional pre-wedding appointments. Both her and her assistant stylist made all of us ladies feel incredible on my wedding day and I cannot say thank you enough!

Brittney was with me every step of the way: helping me find extensions best for me, answering all of my questions quickly, being patient as I had to reschedule my trial a few times because I live out of town, and staying organized with everything. During the trial she really listened to every single thing I did and didn't want and happily accepted all critiques on how we can perfect the makeup and hair for the day of. She was also SO patient working with our moms, who also did a trial. On the day of, I had Alyson stay with me up until the start of the reception so she could fix my hair and makeup throughout the long day of pictures and moving around. She was literally glued to my hip making sure I looked perfect in every picture and I could not swear by this service more. Alyson and Brittney worked their magic on me and their team made my bridesmaids SO happy!

Something Blue Stylists were fabulous on our big day! Starting from the very initial inquiry, they were timely with responses, organized with their awesome platform, and easy to communicate with and understand. I thought their pricing was very fair as I compared them to other local options for the big day. I loved my trial with Brittney and felt very at ease during the whole process. Post trial, I had a few changes I wanted to make for the big day and Brittney listened to exactly what I wanted to see adjusted. I ended up looking and feeling my absolute best on the big day. The bridesmaids and moms also felt fabulous with their hair and make up. The whole team that SBS brought were professional and super prepared. They had touch up bags, touch up lipstick and even cute heart straws available to help keep us looking our best. I would definitely recommend!

Andi was absolutely amazing to work with on the day of my wedding! She was very prepared and took her time with each girl sitting in her chair. Brittney was my stylist and I cannot say enough kind words about her!!! I had very little idea what I wanted going in, and she was excellent at helping me find my wedding look and walking me through the process so I felt confident AND BEAUTIFUL! She and her assistant were so great with my bridesmaids as well!!! They worked fast and carefully so that the bridal party looked stellar for the event! Brittney stayed to do touch-ups and she was an absolute delight. She went far above and beyond, and was just such a great and professional person! I’ve never felt more beautiful!!! Alicia is A M A Z I N G!!! She is the nicest, most calming, wonderful stylist I’ve had the pleasure of working with! She is the best hype woman and a pleasure to work with. She was amazing with all of my bridesmaids and my hair and makeup and made me feel so beautiful! Best of all, she was amazing with my flower girl and made her look beautiful despite her being a typical five year old and wiggling, dancing, whining, etc. If I had to go back and do it all again I would book her a billion times over!

Wow, I cannot say enough amazing things about Andi and her team. She is super responsive which makes planning a wedding so much easier. She’s such a hype girl and made the morning of the wedding so fun. I felt so great about my hair and makeup, and all my bridesmaids/other girls loved theirs as well. My MIL was self conscious of thinning hair, and did a trial with Andi to figure out how to do her hair for the wedding. Andi was super patient and listened to all her concerns, and made suggestions about how to style. My MIL ended up feeling super confident and beautiful. Everything was totally perfect - I would work with Andi again and again and again.

Something Blue Stylists completely exceeded my expectations for my wedding day and I could not have asked for a better experience! The preparations and logistics made my wedding day so smooth and stress free. I had 10 bridesmaids along with 2 moms that needed hair and makeup and they did so amazing with timing and making sure everyone in the group got exactly what they asked for. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup! Something Blue also made my bridal vision come to life and look better than I could've hoped. Hair and makeup were just as I wanted for the wedding, but when it came to unexpected issues, they were not flexible at all. I had a bridesmaid that had a family emergency and the stylists were not willing to give her her money back. A bit absurd if you ask me.

Kayla was the lead stylist for my wedding day and was an absolute gem! Our wedding trial was seamless and she adjusted things as I asked throughout the process and even gave tips/tricks for upcoming beauty appointments to optimize my intended styles. Her and her second stylist arrived early and were set up before their contracted start time, allowing us to run ahead of schedule which helped tremendously throughout the day. 10/10 experience!

The Something Blue Team is absolutely wonderful to work with! Andi was super helpful answering all my initial questions about their services. She set me up with Brittney for our big day and Brittney was such a shining light during our planning and the day of our wedding. I spoke with Brittney about some skin care concerns during my bridal trial and she helped recommend a good skin care routine leading up to my wedding. Our wedding day was super easy because of Brittney and the Something Blue team. All of my bridesmaids looked wonderful and had nothing but high compliments for Brittney and the team. My hair and makeup looked amazing and held up fantastically through the day (rain, sunshine, and dancing on the dance floor). I've been in several weddings before my own, and I always think it's a good sign when your hair and makeup team can laugh throughout the day with your bridal party - and there was nothing but laughs and happiness throughout the day. I highly recommend the Something Blue Team to any bride looking for an amazing, helpful, and funny team to work with!

Andi and her team were so wonderful! I was amazed at her ability to make my hair look so nice in so many styles at our trial. When it came to the wedding day, the team was incredible working with my 10 bridesmaids, two mothers, and a flower girl. They got through us in just under 4 hours, and were SO NICE the whole time!

Brittney and her team did an incredible job with the bridal party's hair and makeup on our big day. From the beginning, Something Blue Stylists was incredibly organized, and made working with 7 bridesmaid, a bride, and MOB so easy. They arrived early on the wedding day, and performed the services in a very timely manner, and every woman in the bridal party looked absolutely stunning. They kept us on our timeline, and were a joy to work with!

Brittney was my lead stylist, and she was phenomenal! She took my requests for changes from the makeup trial in stride and created something absolutely beautiful! My makeup stayed all day with no issues, and my hair slightly started to fall by the end of the day, but I have really fine hair and wasn't surprised (it never stays in updos the way it's supposed to). The hair was super easy to pin back into place, so no problems there! All of my bridesmaids were incredibly happy with their hair and makeup, as was I. The only issue I had was that I had paid a little extra for my tattoo to be covered on my arm, and I asked multiple times if I needed to do anything to make sure it stayed covered. I was told that it should hold all day without a problem. However, about an hour later, it was already showing. Maybe I rubbed it against something and didn't notice? Anyway, it would have been wonderful to have a little cover-up for it in case something like that were to happen. Overall though, I highly recommend them!

Andi and her team were absolutely amazing! I told her I wanted a 1920s look with fall makeup. She gave me exactly what I wanted! The bridesmaids and mother’s make up look outstanding as well! She went above and beyond my expectations and was also amazingly quick at communicating with me! Do not hesitate to book them!

My lead stylist was Kayla. Her and her whole team were amazing from start to finish. They have this magic way of figuring out what works better for your style and make you look so beautiful yet natural. I was so happy with my trial and how my wedding day look was. All of my bridal party and moms were so impressed with their talent and professionalism. Even my photographer was not worried with the amount of people that were getting ready because this whole team really knew what they were doing and performed it in a very timely manner. Andi and her team were amazing! Planning a wedding during Covid was unpredictable but Andi was flexible and a great communicator. We had to move our wedding and she was a breeze to work with to get it all moved around. She showed up on time and was very professional with the right amount of fun! We had an absolute blast getting ready and all the girls felt comfortable, pampered, and beautiful! Her work is so natural! I’d definitely recommend working with her and hope to find another reason to work with her myself!

Kayla was the lead stylist for my wedding and she did AMAZING!!! It was 95 degrees out and said felt like 104 and my hair stayed beautifully curled for the entire day. You would have no idea that it was hot and humid out. My makeup was flawless and so natural. Kayla was calm and sweet!!! She was exactly what I needed. They were on time and ran ahead of schedule!! I would 100% use them again and only refer them!

I'd book Andi and her team a million more times if I could! From their timely responses via email, to the adorable care package, constant organization, flawless and impressive makeup skills and more - I was clearly more than satisfied with my experience. I highly recommend booking the Something Blue team for your next event.

Andi and her team were meant to be hair and makeup artists! They did such a wonderful job on my mom's, mother-in-law's, and bridesmaid's hair and makeup - everyone looked stunning. I absolutely loved how my own hair and makeup turned out as well, and really appreciated how well Andi listened to what I envisioned for myself! We were also really impressed with how well everything held up throughout the day, including an extended amount of time outside in the heat for photos. If I were to do it all over again, I would choose Something Blue Stylists without question!

I give a one-star rating for a few reasons. First, while the hair and make-up artistry they do isn't poorly done, it is incredibly subtle. After my trial, my friends told me that they did not notice anything different about me; they said I looked like I was going to work. My hair also instantly fell out in the humidity, which I know is difficult to control, but it should have lasted more than 15 minutes in midwest weather considering the artisits should be used to this challenge. I also had to correct the make-up artist's work during my trial, as she set my lashes crookedly. When I pointed it out to her after several photos were taken (so the trial had clearly ended), she admitted her error and fixed them. Should the customer notice a lash isn't leveled if this were the wedding day? I thought that is what their professional eye would be able to catch since the bride will have enough to think about. I am also giving a one-star review because of their customer service. They only gave me and my bridal party a day or so to decide on what packages we all wanted after the trial. My maid of honor went into labor the same day of my trial; I also explained that two Registered Nurses are in my party, and since they are not typically near their phones during their shifts, they were not able to meet the 24 hour deadline either. I told my stylist all of this and requested an extension - just for another day or a few days - and was denied. I lost the $250 deposit because of their total lack of empathy and understanding. I get that this is a policy they find important, but especially in a pandemic, you think they would give some leeway to nurses and women giving birth. What was also ironic was that they promised to send over the contract cancellation paperwork within 24 hours. When I followed up several days later asking where the paperwork was, they said they needed an extension because the owner was "on vacation". I followed up again - an entire week later - and they FINALLY delivered the paperwork so I could book a new vendor. It's just funny they wouldn't not give me and my bridal party an extension for extreme circumstances, but they needed an extension just because they hadn't planned accordingly for this vacation. I figured they might have a contingency plan, since the 24 hour timelines seem so important to them! I guess they expect that from their busy brides, but not from themselves.

Andi and her team were fabulous! They were on time and made the getting ready process run so smoothly. Andi and her team really want to make you feel beautiful and it shows both in their work and in their attitude as a whole. I brought an inspiration picture to my bridal preview and she helped me pick in the end the exact style I wanted. My bridesmaids and I got so many compliments on how beautiful and natural we looked. Their work is truly unmatched. My makeup stayed on the whole night. Booking Something Blue Stylists was the best decision I could have ever made.

I live out of state and the team was so gracious in helping to book around my schedule for these appointments. Brittney was the lead stylist for the day of my wedding and was absolutely phenomenal. She was so personable & made me feel so comfortable. She was so open & made sure everything looked just exactly how I wanted. The hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids was both gorgeous and natural. I looked like me, but felt like the best, most beautiful version of myself. We had around 9 people getting hair and makeup services done and the team even ended ahead of schedule! I cannot recommend Something Blue Stylists enough.

I'm writing an enthusiastic review for a service I didn't use - that's how AMAZING Andi at Something Blue Stylists is. Book with her immediately once you have your date. I promise you won't regret it. I booked SBS in April 2019 for our April 2020 wedding. Andi immediately mailed a thoughtful welcome note with all sorts of helpful information to guide my prep process. Like so many couples, we were unfortunately impacted by COVID. When it became clear we weren't going to be able to keep our original plans, I reached out to Andi to see if there was any possibility of doing my hair and makeup only (and not the previously planned bridal party) as we were hoping to still get married on our original date with just our parents. She immediately responded and said she would do whatever needed to make it work - including her doing it personally (she had previously booked me with another super talented and sweet member of her team). Circumstances didn't allow that to happen either, and once again I reached out to Andi to figure out May/June 2020 availability and I was once again treated to Andi's great compassion and grace - even during a time that was undoubtedly difficult for her and her business too! Ultimately we put our wedding plans on indefinite hold until April 2021, when we realized that our immediate family and bridal party would all be vaccinated by mid-May and a small wedding could safely happen. Because Andi and her team are so talented and in such demand, we weren't able to align our two schedules for our new date. I was so bummed, but totally understood given we were only six weeks out. I have been so blown away with Andi's professionalism, her immediate responses to emails no matter the day or time (I'm not sure she sleeps!) and her incredible care for making sure her brides have the easiest planning process possible. All of this has been stressful but my interactions with Andi always put me at ease. Future brides, book Andi and her team ASAP. I promise you won't regret it.

Alicia was AMAZING. After re-scheduling and downsizing our wedding crew for a part one celebration in August 2020, I wasn't sure if I was going to get my hair or makeup done for this year's wedding celebration. I am SO glad I ended up going with Something Blue Stylists for bridal hair this year though! Alicia was safe, friendly, and incredibly talented. I've had my hair done several times for friend's weddings and my hair was honestly the best it's looked at both the trial and big day. Although I did my own makeup, Alicia also added on some fake eyelashes that were beautiful and natural! Cannot recommend her enough! :)

Brittney was absolutely fantastic to work with! Andi was able to answer all my questions within minutes of reaching out, and everything was super easy to book. My biggest worry about makeup was that I wanted to still look like myself. I've had my makeup done before for other weddings and not recognized myself in the photos, and that is the LAST thing I wanted for my own wedding. I definitely tried to have some inspiration photos ready for the trial, and Brittney NAILED it. It looked absolutely amazing, and was everything I could've hoped for. When my venue informed me three days prior that I had to change my prep location, Brittney responded to my email in minutes with confirmation that it was no issue, which definitely helped ease some of my worry with the last minute change. Day of, everyone was super punctual, and we stayed ahead of schedule the whole time, while still keeping things light and fun. Absolutely would recommend!

I hired Something Blue Stylists for my wedding day. Andi and all of her assistants were punctual and efficient, all while maintaining helpful, positive attitudes. It was such a relief to relax while I had my hair and makeup done, knowing that it was all going to be taken care of in the way that I wanted. I had a couple slight makeup and hair adjustments I asked for on the day of the wedding that differed from the preview, and Andi immediately understood what I wanted and did a flawless job. My hair was exactly what I'd hoped for, and my eye makeup was dramatic but still classy. One of the things that really impressed me about Andi is the way that she contours the eye shadow without letting it get even the slightest bit muddy. Right from the start when I first contacted them regarding services for my wedding, Andi was super helpful and responded quickly to all my questions. From the makeup and hair preview to the actual day of, Andi made me feel so comfortable and I really trusted her advice and let her take my vision and add her touches based on her expertise. She went above and beyond starting with driving my dress to the venue since it was pouring rain all day to also touching up my hair and makeup during our first look and bridal party photos. They are professional and talented and it was so convenient that they came to our rental house and set up everything right where we were rather than having to go anywhere. I can't recommend Andi and Something Blue enough! Andi was the fastest responder EVER! She was amazing to work with through everything and always answered all of my questions. I loved that they were able to come to us at the Omni to do everyone's hair and makeup. Andi provided a sense of calm that morning that helped me so much and helped to make the morning fun! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup and it was such a relaxing morning of us hanging out and getting ready! These ladies are rockstars! SBS completely exceeded my expectations in every way! Andi, was not only a gifted hair and makeup artist, she was a bff, a mom, an expert in crisis management, etc. She shared in our laughter and our excitement but never gave in to our worry or doubt. When my hairstyle didn’t turn out the way I pictured, she shrugged it off, quickly revised it, and created an updo that I absolutely loved! When on of my bridesmaids panicked about looking washed out during our pajama photos, she ran over with lipstick. She helped me apply body tape, showed my bridesmaids how to put in and take out my veil, and helped button up my dress. All tasks she was not even remotely required or expected to take on, but did with a smile. Her makeup left our skin glowing and beautiful ALL night long and our hair never faltered. If you want to look as a truly beautiful and enhanced version of yourself, AND feel cared for and listened to, look no further. You will not be disappointed!

Brittney really knocked it out of the park for my wedding makeup! She was a pleasure to work with, really knew her stuff, and really made sure I looked perfect and that my makeup lasted the entire time! I was able to speak to her a few times before my preview, and I tried a look that I knew would be bold for the preview. I looked amazing, but after realizing it just wasn’t me, I felt comfortable telling her what I wanted to change for the wedding day, and she made me look exactly as I wanted!! She really made me feel comfortable on the day of the wedding, and her calming tone and attitude helped me enjoy getting ready while I was really nervous! I LOVED working with Melissa from Something Blue for my wedding! I had my bridal hair and makeup done as well as hair for my bridemaids and mother-in-law. Everyone looked beautiful AND their hair all stayed through some windy outdoor photos and lots of dancing at the reception. I can't speak highly enough of the makeup! Where to even begin! I used Something Blue Stylist for my wedding on September 28th, 2019 and they were amazing! Melissa was my main girl and she was incredible! On your wedding day you want to look perfect and Something Blue made that happen. Melissa was so attentive to all the small details. You are truly in amazing hands when you work with them. I could not recommend Something Blue enough and if you need someone, request Melissa. This was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.

We worked with Melissa for our September wedding, and she was amazing! From our trial to our wedding day, she was so easy to get along with and obviously so talented at what she does! All of my bridesmaids who got hair/makeup done loved their looks, as did I. We were so lucky to have worked with the Something Blue Stylists team and would highly recommend them to anyone getting married.

Andi (and team) is AMAZING! First, Andi is wonderful at communicating - she's quick to respond to any question you have, she's super helpful, and she is just a really comfortable person to work with. Now, more importantly: she's fantastic. When I met with her for my hair and makeup trial, I was a bit leary. I don't wear a lot of makeup, and I'm convinced my curly hair will never look beautiful because it has a tendency to frizz so badly. Plus, I'd paid people to do my hair and makeup before, and it was a disaster. But, I made a pinterest board of hairstyles and makeup looks that I liked and presented it to her at the beginning, and again, I was nervous. Had I picked things that just weren't possible with my hair and face? Did I pick super unflattering things? Was she going to do whatever she wanted and then at the end tell me what I had asked for wasn't possible, so she just did something else? Was whatever she was going to do look nothing like the pictures I showed her? N O P E - she's amazing and nailed everything I had envisioned! Seriously - she got it all right in the first go! And then at the end, she re-did the hairstyle so my fiance wouldn't know what it was really going to look like day of! Now, that's all about the pre-wedding day stuff, and we all know that the actual wedding day is what REALLY matters. And Andi was perfect again! She showed up on time (which was 6:30 am, people! Her and her team were all at my house and ready to go at 6:30 AM!) They got set up quickly (with all of their supplies - lights, literal trunks of products and tools, etc.) I had 7 bridesmaids and 2 moms that needed hair and makeup down, and very, very few of them came with pictures of what they wanted - they basically gave a general idea to the stylists "I'd like a braid" or "I want it to be up" or something, and the stylists made it work! The girls even got little mini-refills of their lip colors, which was great for the long day ahead of us. Everyone loved their and makeup -- two highlights from their reviews are: * Everyone was amazed that they all looked very natural - you couldn't tell that the others were wearing makeup necessarily, but everyone just looked like enhanced versions of themselves * my mom actually said that she's never felt so pretty in her life. Andi kept everything exactly on schedule, too - in and out on time, with everyone done! The whole experience was amazing - if you're looking for a RELIABLE, PROFESSIONAL and TALENTED team for your big day, this is the vendor for you!

I have never been a part of a bridal party where each woman liked their hair and makeup before working with SBS.. but they accomplished the impossible! Best of all, they were efficient!
