Started slow with drink service but once I asked for buckets of champagne and beer, that helped and they were very responsive.
Food was good. Servers were really nice and very anxious to please.
Absolutely top notch experience. The venue was fantastic - with lots of guest services and multiple restaurant options on premise for guests who had extended stays. Wedding support was phenomenal - from the catering and sales managers (Megan and Marianne) to the staff that walked us through all the planning details for the reception and were with us the entire evening. Kudos to Judith and her entire staff. They were attentive to every detail and ensured all guests and the details of our event were perfect. Food was excellent and guest were blown away by the range of options and the service.
We were extremely pleased with the entire experience we had at the Wyndham Hamilton Park!
Right from the beginning, Megan (the catering manager) welcomed us and made us feel special.
She quickly answered any questions we had.
We selected some items to try for our tasting and were able to invite two guests to join us.
It was more than a tasting - it was more like a gourmet meal!
Our wedding went smoothly.
The food was delectable.
The service was impeccable.
Many of our guests remarked how wonderful everything was.
I would most definitely recommend any event here!
We used the Wyndham for the our wedding block and for transportation for our wedding. Marianne was amazing throughout the entire process! We had to keep adding rooms because we had not anticipated the amount of guests that would stay over, and she was so helpful and responsive. As for transportation, Kenny and the team did a great job in transporting our guests to the reception, the church, and other downtown areas. Thank you so much for helping us during our wedding weekend! Lastly, we used Vanderbilt's for the after party and it was so much fun! There is plenty of space for all guests, with pool tables, a dance floor, and outdoor space. It was perfect. Thank you Marianne, Kenny, and all who helped make our weekend special!
We worked with Susan DaSilva and Antonio at the Wyndham and they were beyond amazing. I am a wedding planner with over 20 years in the business and this venue has everything under control. What is even better is that they work wih you and are so accommodating. The food is top notch and the service is 5 stars. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a classy venue with top quality staff. Ask for Susan, she's the best!
I had my rehearsal dinner, Ceremony , reception, and brunch the morning after all at the Wyndham Hamilton park hotel. I can not to begin to say how amazing everyone was! Megan was my first point of contract almost 2 years ago and she is nothing short of amazing. She made the planning process super easy and was super accommodating. It felt like I was planning my wedding with a friend rather then someone who worked at the venue. Judy was our Maître d’ and she had everything run smoothly and was amazing. Between the both of them they made my wedding perfect and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend them. Everything was perfect on their end. Also Maggie was our attendant for the reception and she was amazing and super sweet. Alyssa and Michelle at the front desk are incredible and they were there for anything I needed. Overall I am so happy how everything turned out and couldn’t have picked a better venue and a better team to work with. Thank you all so much! If I could leave more then 5 stars I definitely would :)
We chose this venue for my best friend's bridal shower. While the food was good, the venue gorgeous, and one server (Fitzbroy, I believe his name was) was attentive and polite, the experience following signing the contract all the way through the event was unpleasant. Communicating with Susan DaSilva via email was unpleasant. I had to follow up on several occasions after not getting a response and was told I was going to get charged extra when I was just trying to understand what we could and could not do at this venue for the bridal shower. On top of this, Susan never communicated with the banquet captain, Judith Sanchez. Susan informed me that when I arrived on the day, we would be able to begin setting up at 11am and that she would communicate this to Judith. When I met with Judith that morning (after waiting around for almost 20 minutes) I was told the servers would need 45 minutes to set up which cut into our time to decorate before the event. They ultimately let us decorate as the servers were setting up tables, but one waiter was upset the whole time that we were decorating while she was setting up. Unfortunately, we were still setting up as guests arrived.
The room were were in (Social I and II) was FREEZING! We asked five times to ask to have it turned up and finally they brought in a space heater. The heat was apparently broken and when they had someone come fix it, during the last hour of the event, the heat went up and everyone was sweating through the final hour. In the last half hour, as we were finishing games, Judith came into the room and continued to look at her watch, clearly reminding us we needed to be out.
I have been to two events at this venue in the past and have had a lovely time, but if you are looking to plan an event here, I would advise against it. My future in-laws were contemplating having our rehearsal dinner here and I have asked that they look elsewhere because of my experience with this event.
We used Hamilton Park for guest accommodations during our wedding weekend, and they were wonderful! Marianne was so helpful and communicative all year long. Their transportation department made sure we were well taken care of and provided transportation for just about everything! Everything went very smoothly and the guests were very happy! Everyone also enjoyed going to Vanderbilt's every night for more fun. Thank you so much!
Tara Margiotta and the entire staff at the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel were beyond professional and accommodating. All questions were greeted and answered promptly and you never felt like you were a bother. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and better than anything my husband and I could have imagined. The servers were extra caring and on top of their game. Our Maitre D was fantastic and so sweet. Every little detail was taken care of and the day/night went so well. The food was out of this world. We had a three option dinner menu and I haven't heard a complaint yet. What really sold us was Tara. From our first meeting together, Tara treated us like family. She was willing to work with us throughout the entire process and even checked in on me and my bridal party the day of our wedding. When she hand't heard from me in awhile, she'd reach out just to see how everything was going with the plans. She really made our wedding day amazing. We highly recommend the Wyndham to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Ask for Tara! :)
My husband and I had our wedding- ceremony + reception at Hamiltop Park 10/14/17., but long story short- we didn't chose Hamilton Park for our venue, we chose Dolce Basking Ridge but due to circumstances beyond my control... the wedding was moved to Hamilton Park 6 months after I booked Dolce, and about 6 months before my wedding. Throughout the whole process I worked with Laurie Guerrero, Catering Manager. When Laurie called to let me know that Dolce was closing, I was freaking out, but she calmed me down and assured me that Hamilton Park was just as awesome (actually even better). The whole transition process went really smoothly with Laurie's help.
Getting Ready- I was lucky enough to get the presidential suite (I think it's based on availability) for my girls and I to get ready in. It's a huge living room/dining room/ and kitchenette plus a separate bathroom, plenty of space for myself, 6 bridesmaids, two moms, and two stylists to spread out and get everyone looking beautiful. It's also connected to a large bedroom next door that my husband and I had the night of and the night before. It was a beautiful space to do my bridal portraits, plenty of natural light and floor to ceiling windows.
Hotel rooms- my guests were all happy with their rooms- the hotel was just renovated in March 2017 so rooms were fresh looking and clean. Only issue I had was that I had trouble getting my room key to work! (apologies to me getting upset with the front folks at 1am after my wedding...)
Ceremony- we held our ceremony in the courtyard and it was certainly beautiful, although kind of small. I had 127 guests and it was a little tight but everyone fit. Any more people and it would have been too many, I think.
Cocktail hour- we had the study outside of the ballroom set up for a private cocktail hour for the bridal party- and they even had a separate bar for us! I wasn’t expecting that and it was definitely necessary and appreciated! Fast drinks for bridesmaids and groomsmen is important!
Food- When it came time to do the tasting- we were blown away by the food! We chose swordfish, French-cut chicken, and NY strip for our entrees. We got to try everything, as well as appetizers and hors d'ouerves. The food at the wedding was just as good- if not even better. We had the Colorado leg of lamb for a carving station and that was probably the best food at the cocktail hour.
Drinks- absolutely awesome! They used all top shelf liquor and the bartenders were great. They let us have a silent 2nd silent signature drink for my mom and her friends since they are obsessed with lemon drop martinis.
After party at Vanderbilts!- Vandy’s was an awesome spot to have an after party- it’s right down the hall from the ballroom, so we had excellent attendance. Since we were using Hamilton Park as our venue and not just for a room block, we had a side area with couches, a pool table, and shuffleboard set aside for us.
Overall- really great experience going through the planning stages and through the actual wedding. The maître d and the wait staff the day made sure everything ran smoothly and that the bridal party was line up properly when we needed to be. My husband and I are beyond happy with the way the whole day turned out!
We hosted our wedding on 9/29/17 at the Wyndham Hamilton Park and I do not even know where to begin thanking all of the staff there but especially Laurie Guerrero, our maitre d' Lauren and our server Maggie. Laurie was amazing from the very beginning. No question was too silly for her to respond to and she was always prompt and reassuring. She remembered every detail of what we wanted and was just a delight to work with! When we booked this venue, it was still undergoing major renovations, which came out beautiful. Our confidence in her played a HUGE role in booking. She went above and beyond to make us happy. Lauren our maitre d' was perfect! She ran the whole day without a single thing going wrong and was so attentive and calming, especially when I felt overwhelmed. Maggie, our server at the tasting and wedding day was so kind and on top-of things. Her personality just puts you in a happy mood. The day of the wedding she took such great care of us. I honestly would have forgotten to eat if it was not for her.. and thank goodness I did because the food/drinks were excellent. I highly recommend this venue to any couple, especially if you are planning on arranging hotel rooms for your guests. The rooms were great, our presidential suite was huge and a beautiful place to take getting ready photos. They also have Vanderbilt's sports bar attached to the hotel that does a great after party. I could honestly go on and on. Thank you so much for making our day perfect, we didn't want it to end!
Great venue!
Beautiful wedding location for my sister. The food was amazing and the staff were so polite and extremely helpful! All the guests were very impressed! Special thanks to Laurie Guerrero who did an amazing job with planning and making the process so easy.
The hotel really took care of us and the food was amazing! My family is still raving about the quantity and quality! Our coordinator changed hands a few times but in the end Tara helped us have the perfect wedding day and I would highly recommend this venue
We blocked rooms for our guests with a shuttle service as well as hosted a breakfast the morning after the wedding and both were easy processes. It was great to have Vanderbilt's open afterwards for guests who wanted to continue the party. All my locations were close by so that made it the perfect option for my guests.
My husband and I married at the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel on June 27, 2014. We knew we wanted a venue with an indoor/outdoor flow, where all our guests could stay safely for the night and could even accommodate an after party. The Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel was exactly what we wanted.
From the moment we met Senior Catering Sales Manager Nicole Nelson we had a good feeling. She was so down to earth. She was very calm and realistic and really worked with us so that we could the most value for our money. Whenever I called or emailed (which I did a lot) she was so prompt to respond and I don't think she ever said no to anything - she made everything we wanted work.
We were fortunate enough to be able to marry outside in the courtyard which was so beautifully lush with flowers and greens. We really didn't need much more than the chairs and altar vases to complete the look. Cocktail hour flowed in and out, there was plenty of food and drink to go around.
The reception was wonderful. Food was delicious. I remember before the wedding questioning certain things and Nicole would reassure me that they would turn out great and they did. From menu to lighting to cake, etc... it was perfect. She really knows her stuff! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I didn’t have to ask for anything, it was like they were watching and knew what I needed. They take care of absolutely everything. They were extremely accommodating and any time I had a special request, it was delivered on. (In fact when we returned to our suite that night, they had sent up all our gifts, champagne and some desserts which we never got to eat during the reception. Very thoughtful.)
After the reception, we all convened at the lounge in the hotel – Vanderbilt’s - where they were very accommodating as well. It was great to have our family and friends stay with us and not have to worry about driving home or catching a shuttle. In fact, the night before the wedding, we also had the rehearsal dinner in Vanderbilt’s. Again, Nicole worked with us on a buffet menu, drinks choices, etc... something that worked within our budget and it too, was wonderful. It was just what we wanted.
Our bridal suite was stunning and I was able to stay in it for two nights - the night before the wedding and night of the wedding. With a gorgeous separate bedroom and a spacious common area (including a huge dining room table and living room) for all the girls to get ready in - it was more than I expected. It was so easy for family and friends to stop in before the wedding. Our family even had breakfast all together the day of the wedding in the suite. Before heading down to the ceremony we took pictures there as well.
I would highly recommend the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel. It was a perfect fit for us. It just felt right. Thanks to Nicole and the staff there, it was exactly what we wanted! Thank you.

I had my wedding (ceremony and reception) at Wyndham Hamilton Park hotel on September 28, 2013. It was not only a pleasure working with the catering staff throughout the year on planning this special day for us, but the hotel did more than an incredible job the day of as well. I cannot express how beautiful everything looked on the wedding day. Every detail I provided to the catering staff was covered and they used their own skills and talent to make it even more beautiful. The ceremony and reception truly came out better than I ever dreamed of. The Catering Sales Manager Nicole, who I worked with throughout the year, was so calm and organized on the wedding day it helped keep me relaxed knowing that I was in good hands. It felt like whenever I needed a hand with something she appeared with a smile on her face willing and ready to assist me with what I needed. She truly was amazing. Every member of the staff that I came into contact with on the wedding day was so kind and helpful. All of my guests commented on the great service and excellent food too. We could not be happier with our choice of using Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel as our wedding venue.
great value for the amenities. Because HPH is largely a corporate hotel, they are able to charge reasonable prices for weddings and other big weekend events (they make their $$ during the week on corporate travel). despite the corporate bent, the hotel is beautiful -- just renovated the outside patio area, which is an option for cocktail hours during nice weather, and the rooms are all top of the the line. The ballroom is classic and a great canvas for any decorative vision you have. Most importantly for me, service was above and beyond at HPH. Nicole, the catering sales manager, was outstanding throughout the planning process: always prompt with email replies, accommodating of our requests. The day of event staff was also amazing -- Jessica the maitre'd made sure everything flowed smoothly that night. I truly didnt worry about a thing because I knew the event was in the hands of the professionals! Waitstaff the night of were excellent -- our drinks were refilled every time we came back to our table from dancing. They anticipated our needs but weren't overbearing. Another great aspect of HPH is that there is only one wedding at a time, so there's no feeling that they're cranking out receptions on an assembly line. We loved (and our guests did too) coming to the HPH after the church ceremony and staying there until brunch was over the next morning -- no worry about drinking/driving, or arranging for fleets of shuttles to cart guests around. If we had to do it again, we would absolutely go with Hamilton Park Hotel.
We would definitely recommend the Hamilton Park Hotel to any bride and groom looking for a wedding venue! We were so happy and satisfied with our decision!
We loved the practicality of the venue and how we could do everything in one place – the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party were all at the hotel, and it was great that our guests were able to stay over! It allowed us to not have to worry about transportation or getting limos, so we definitely saved money there!
We also loved the look and feel of the Hamilton Park Hotel. We were able to do our ceremony outside in the courtyard which was so beautiful! And the ballroom was very big and spacious, which was great for dancing!
Another awesome thing about the hotel was the food! The food was so amazing and our guests are still raving about how good everything was! We really enjoyed everything we tried!
And one of the best parts about having our hotel at the Hamilton Park Hotel was the people and the service. Joanne worked very closely with us throughout the entire process and she did a phenomenal job! We went over all of the details and she always had great advice. She was such a pleasure to work with, and we felt the same way about the entire team on the day of our wedding. They have a great staff and they really take pride in what they do.
Overall, we had an amazing wedding and we thank the Hamilton Park Hotel for being such a wonderful place to get married and for making our day so special!
Hamilton Park Hotel made our rehearsal dinner and wedding day so special and memorable! We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect wedding and have them to thank for that. They were so easy to work with and were there to help in any way they could. Their presence did not go unnoticed on Friday when we checked in and then again all of our wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. I can only hope one of our guests that also raved about the venue will choose to host an event there so we can enjoy everything all over again. We have gotten so many compliments on the food and the overall service! Their attention to detail helped capture everything we were picturing and the setup was everything we could have hoped for. JoAnne, Scott and the entire staff at Hamilton Park exceeded our expectations and made such a memorable event even more special.
We had two events at HPH (a welcoming dinner & our wedding) in July 2013 and it was truly the best choice we could have made. HPH was the first venue we saw and no other place compared to it on any level. The entire staff from hotel services to catering were absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail, their friendliness, and the level of service provided simply cannot be found anywhere else. My guests are still talking about the food!! Not only was it plentiful, but the quality was outstanding! Between our Friday event and the wedding on Saturday, we averaged about 200 people for each. Both day's menus were superb! I really can't say enough great things about HPH! If you're looking for someplace to host any kind of event, be absolutely sure to contact HPH. You won't be disappointed.
My fiance and I looked at a lot of places, both online and in person, before we managed to find the right one. Hamilton Park is a beautiful hotel with a modern look, so if you are sick of those giant crystal chandeliers and overdone floral carpets this is the place for you! It's also nice to have the party and the hotel all in one spot, and the guest rooms were very nice (the Presidential Suite my fiance and I got was spectacular, and I think it may be bigger than my apartment). Catering Director JoAnne was with us from minute one, and she is the best. She is knowledgeable and friendly, didn't mind many questions over email, and was so easy and great to work with. She was also there the day of our wedding and made sure everything was set up perfectly. We brought in our own centerpieces and decor and everything was done exactly as we wanted. All the staff, from those running the party to the check-in desk were so great to us, and also to all of our guests. The night ran so smoothly, we just sat back and didn't have to worry about a thing! The food was also great, and I have had many people tell me how delicious everything was.
The whole experience of planning the wedding and the actual night of was a wonderful experience. I am so happy we found Hamilton Park Hotel.
Just had our wedding at the Hamilton Park! Everything was excellent and everyone I dealt with was amazing. The food was excellent the accomodations were great and the staff was friendly and attentive.
Hotel is great - we had our guests stay over. Shuttle was prompt for taking guests to and from wedding, rooms were great, and we loved the after party at Vanderbilt's. Our guests LOVED the buffet breakfast that Hamilton Park does. My groom and I stayed over (we had a complimentary room) and loved our stay. We would definitely tell people to use this hotel for out of town guests. JoAnne of catering was so helpful!!!
great after party bar in the hotel.
The staff at Hamilton Park helped my husband and I create our perfect wedding reception. From start to finish everything was addressed perfectly. The food was excellent and service even better. The waitstaff even helped to get a stain out of my dress when I dripped something on it! The event space was well laid out and able to accomodate our 150 guests and a 10 piece band. The hotel worked to coordinate everything. I would hightly recommend this venue. Prices were reasonable and guest experience was excellent!
We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and guestroom block for our wedding. It was the ideal location because it is so easy to get to from Route 287 for our out of town guests.
The style of the hotel is contemporary with a very open, airy atmopshere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating - we had no trouble with guests checking in or receiving our welcome bags.
Our rehearsal dinner in the Arrive Courts was a lot of fun. We had a personal chef barbequing for us on a private patio, and then an elegant dining room for dinner. Everything was delicious and it was a great way to kick off our wedding weekend.
The best part about having the room block at Hamilton Park is the after party at Vanderbilt's Sports Pub. Our guests ran to their rooms to change after the reception, and then we hung out until 2:00am, playing pool and shuffle board. It's such a fun spot and all of our guests wanted to keep the party going all night.
Luckily the next morning we got to travel down to the hotel restaurant for a tasty breakfast buffet. The omelete and waffle station was great and it was the perfect setting to say good bye to all of our out of town guests.
INCREDIBLE!!!! Joanne, Kate, Scot, Tara, Jessica, and everyone on staff here made our entire wedding experience phenomenal. From the 1st day we came to look at the hotel, we loved the modern look of the venue and the ballroom and just how incredibly organized the staff was. We originally had started working with Kate and after she changed positions, we worked with Joanne. I cant even put into words how helpful she was. She knew absolutely everything we wanted on our wedding day and made it happen. It was the most beautiful wedding ever! Joanne even went out of her way to color coordinate the cocktail hour flowers for me to match the rest of my wedding. I had quite a few DIY items I wanted displayed in certain ways for our wedding and they all were absolutely perfect the day of. The staff listens to every single concern and request you may have and makes sure they take care of it. On the day of the wedding, every single guest was attended to right away, the food is out of this world amazing, and the wedding ran absolutely perfectly thanks to Joanne and all the wonderful staff. And we LOVED having our wedding at this hotel- we had an amazing afterparty at Vanderbilts so the party didn’t have to stop and everyone was able to have a beautiful (and delicious) breakfast the next day in the hotel as well. I felt like we had an amazing wedding weekend with all our guests instead of just a rushed reception. I would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here- you cant go wrong and they will make sure you have an absolutely amazing day! They also only do one wedding per day, which we loved and so many of our guests continue to say this is the “best wedding they have ever been to!”
My wedding was amazing, thanks to the Hamilton Park Hotel. Joanne was a pleasure to work with, answering all my questions, day or night with enthusiam and genuine care. The day of the wedding she anticipated every need I may have. The rest of the staff there were equally as wonderful, from the front desk staff to the waiters...everyone was a joy to work with.
The food was incredible, the venue is beautiful, clean and modern. Our ceremony took place in their beautiful little ourdoor garden.
Its a wonderful place to have a wedding, they mantain a wonderful staff & the hotel is beautiful.
