We utilized this hotel for our room block. I would not use them again. There was so much conflicting information coming from the group rate sales and the front desk/customer service at the hotel. We were told we could utilize the shuttle that was part of the hotel, and that it was reserved for us at 6:30. Apparently no one advised the driver of this information, and they were not available to take guests to the dinner. I confirmed this detail 3 times with hotel, both with the group rate salesperson and the front desk/customer service at hotel. Apparently, the individual on duty at the front desk was also not aware that the shuttle was reserved for a specific time, and upon inquiry of my guests, there were several eye rolls and sighs while trying to remedy the issue. As you can guess, the issue was not remedied, and my guests had to drive to dinner. I probably should have assumed that was going to happen based on the number of times I felt I needed to confirm that the shuttle was going to happen and assured that I did not have to hire my own transportation. Secondly, we were assured several times before booking that the restaurant was open for breakfast 7:30-10:30 AM, even though the website indicates they're not open. Apparently, they were unable to change the website information. Upon arrival, my guests were told by the front desk that breakfast was only until 8:30 AM. We ended up modifying our plans and did not utilize the hotel for breakfast (all 20 of us) and took our business elsewhere. It was the most disappointing experience of our wedding. The positive was that it was close to dinner, I did not ask how our guests slept or if the rooms were comfy because I was too embarrassed regarding the above situations.

This vendor was amazing. Ashley Berry was the best coordinator ever. She was very responsive, very accommodating, and honestly just the absolute best. The venue was in our price range and the staff was great. Everyone raved about our bartender and how great he was. This venue made everything so easy and was very organized!! We loved our experience.

Overall, I was very satisfied with our experience at Crowne Plaza Milwaukee West. We had some ups and downs, including going through 4 wedding coordinators, but the end result was great. We worked with Teri when it was all said and done and she was perfect. I do not think we would have stuck with the Crowne Plaza if it werent for her, she made me feel really reassured and wanted to make my day as perfect as it could be. The food was great and we loved the personal tasting. The staff at the Crowne Plaza really do want to make your experience great for the most part. We had some challenges with the front desk staff but I think that is more of a reflection of the person working than it was of the establishment. Overall, we had a great time. The space was perfect for us and I LOVED having everything in one place, at the end of the night my husband and I just had to take the elevator up. They also helped us with a day after brunch which was awesome.

Everyone at the Crowne Plaza worked extremely hard to make sure everything was just as we requested. The wedding coordinator and staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests had everything they needed. One server even had a special appetizer made for a guest with acid reflux. The fact that the Crowne Plaza only hosts one wedding a night is a huge plus. We highly recommend.

Where can I start with this venue?! It was perfect. Everything that is included in the cost was perfect also. It had everything that we needed. Nothing went wrong that day either which made it even more special. Veronica was there from just before the flowers got there until about 8pm-8:30pm to make sure that everything was under control. The staff was very nice and wonderful.

We would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza for a wedding reception venue. Tess was wonderful to work with. They made the entire "guest experience" wonderful as our out of town guests could take the shuttle to the ceremony and back and then dance the night away without having to worry about driving home. The food is good, the bartenders are friendly, the wait staff is prompt, it was all just wonderful. Tess and her staff go out of their way to make your wedding a memorable event and let me tell you, ours was magical!

The entire experience was amazing! Our guests are still telling us how wonderful the food was. We loved our wedding coordinator, she made our day perfect and stress free. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We booked a block of rooms and stayed overnight at this hotel. They were wonderful to work with. Our other hotel (Hampton Inn and Suites in Greenfield, WI) could no longer fulfill our original agreement for rooms only weeks before our wedding. Needless to say, we were scrambling! Ashley at the Crowne Plaza was great - she gave us an amazing rate and fully accommodated our sudden need for rooms. The hotel was quiet and clean. And they put up with our guests' late-night shenanigans! Thank you!!

We set up our hotel block with Crowne Plaza West Milwaukee. It's a beautiful hotel with bar, restaurant and pool. Because of the number in our block we earned a free suite which was wonderful. We had the front-desk staff hand out welcome bags to our guests. And we were able to give our guests a shuttle to and from the reception. Because our reception ended at midnight we had to purchase the late night shuttle option which was $250. For how relaxed everyone was able to be it was worth every penny!

We had our wedding at the Crowne Plaza on September 20th, 2014. Our venue was the highlight of the evening. For starters, you work with the hotel's wedding coordinator, Kris. Kris is phenomenal. I am a type A, organized, control-freak bride. Kris kept me calm the entire time I worked with her. She is the glue that made my evening go smoothly and I absolutely adore her. The venue is large, and our guests appreciated the room they had to be social. The food- oh my god- the food! PHENOMENAL!! We served our guests Filet Mignon, Grilled Salmon, Bruschetta Chicken, or a Vegetarian option. All our guests have been RAVING about the food. We offered butler passed and stationary appetizers. And we had late night snacks towards the end of the night. The serving staff did a great job- plates arrived as quickly together as you could hope for. The servers were refilling waters and coffees. The hall allows you to drop items off earlier in the week which is so nice! When the items leave your home, you can sit back and enjoy your time before the wedding. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza in Wauwatosa to any engaged person in the area. We love the Crowne, and we especially love Kris! THANK YOU.

I attended a wedding here in 2011 and it was on the top of my list for my 2013 wedding once I became engaged. Trying to get a hold of Nancy, the caterer, has been difficult. She didn't return emails. My mom called her to setup a time to walk through and Nancy didn't even show up. We just left. Not a good feeling. The venue is very nice, but correspondence is lacking.

Very nice hotel, only 3 years old. They have good packages that include champenge toast, chair covers with bows. The food was AMAZING! I got so many compliments on my entree and appetizers. They offer late night food, the chicken tenders were awesome! The servers that night were so great! Very personable, attentive and very quick! Bartenders were great! I booked them about a year and a half before my wedding. The hotel coordinator switched about half way through. Nancy was good to work with, not always super quick on replying to emails, but if you reminder her once then she got back to you right away. They let me use the projector and screen for free, but the only issue was they said I could bring in my flash drive to test the slide show 2 days before the wedding, but their AV guy wasnt in. So they never tested it until noon on the day of the wedding. When they started to play it, they didnt let us know and we were walking around greating guests, so we had to rush back to our head table to watch it. No one knew it was playing. The music was messed up and only played on half of the room, so they started it over, then the music was super loud. They finally got it to work properly half way through the slide show. not a huge deal in the scheme of things. overall, great experience, awesome service and fun time. The hotel rooms are great. They are very willing to work with you. I would highly reccomend this venue if you want to go with a hotel.

Kris is the banquet manager and she is amazing. She will not let a detail slip. She is there through every step. The facilities are beautiful and the accomodations are top-notch. We got married and held our reception here and we could not have been happier. The hotel staff catered to our needs and treated our bridal party like royalty. When we started hunting for a venue, we looked at all the locations in the area including the hot downtown locations. The Crowne Plaza is less expensive than the places downtown but they also include the most in their packages. The package prices included niceties that we would have otherwise not had -i.e. chair covers with ribbons, table runners, hors deourves, late night snack, not to mention Kris! I would recommend this place to everyone. You will be satisified! If you get married here, the banquet manager, Kris, guides you through every step. She meets with your officiant and ensures everything goes off without a hitch. She is there for the rehearsal and makes sure EVERYONE (including rowdy groomsmen) are where they need to be and when. We couldn't have been happier. The only thing I would mention for an improve would be their decor. We had to bring in an arch to make it a little less-banquet hall-ish. The arch worked out perfectly and it was homemade so it fit in the budget perfectly.

We were so impressed with their top notch customer service, delicious menu selection, their catering manager, Kris', attention to detail and dedication to her bride and groom, and not to mention their immaculate hotel rooms. At first it seemed a bit pricey for not being downtown, but it ended up being perfect for our larger wedding! The event coordinator was so thorough and was there for every moment of our wedding reception. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing once our decisions were made! Also, the room looked absolutely beautiful when it was put together - better than I could have ever imagined!

The employees at the Crowne Plaza were very accomodating. They were willint to negotiate prices with us and provided excellent meal options. All of our guests loved the food and loved that the wedding was at a hotel.

I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about the Plaza!!!! The staff were amazing to work with and all I had to do was ask and it was done.. No way to get all the wonderful helpful charming courteous fantastic employees. From the recetionist to the bartenders to the event coordinater and the housekeeping I have never seen anything work so well-like a fine clock- and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend the Plaza for any event!;When doing photos the Atrium is ok but you will see the top floor room doors in some of the shots.

It was a packet deal. The price included cake flowers drinks and food.;The service. We had tables not get wine (part of package.) People charged for soda (was to be part of Package) We were charged for rooms for guests that did not stay even through they had canceled rooms (Crowne did credit these back after a month of fighting).
