I had a wonderful experience at Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach. Staff very friendly and helpful.

From the very beginning we had an A+ experience! Our wedding was like a magical dream and we’re SO happy we were married here.

We had our wedding at the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach and Marina Hotel on July 30, 2016. Everything from the ceremony to the reception was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony spot on the harbor terrace is gorgeous providing a view of the harbor/marina. All our guests gave us compliments on how nice and beautiful it was. The Coral ballroom we had it in was recently remodeled and is very big so it gave our guests lots of space to move around and mingle (we had a 250+ wedding). Ana Moran and the whole team at the hotel are accommodating, considerate and really worked with our budget and wish list to make our dream wedding happen. They never tried to up sell us on anything, they genuinely wanted to make sure that the day was what we wanted it to be and special for us. The banquet manager and everyone at the hotel were so nice and helpful all throughout the wedding process. Whenever we made any requests Ana and/or the staff would not only meet our requests but go above and beyond if they could. We had our dream wedding here and are so grateful to all the people at this venue for making it happen.

As a newly wed, my husband and I just had our magical wedding on July 23, 2016. After looking at many venues, we decided to go with the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach because of their option to have outside catering. This was very important since my husband is Persian, we wanted to stick to the culture. As time went on we realized our original wedding coordinator was not coming back from maternity leave, which at first frightened us. But once we met Ana Moran, we knew we would be in great hands. Ana was not only kind, but very attentive. My husband was one with many questions, and she was always there to answer all our needs. She provided us with many vendors in case we needed more options and she was always willing to go above and beyond what was asked. We truly appreciate her customer service and all the staff at the Crowne Plaza. I was thoroughly relived on how well the event well and definitely would recommend this venue to my future friends and families who are planning to get married in the near future. We honestly thank them for making our wedding an absolute perfect day!

My husband and I had gotten married at the Crowne Plaza of Redondo Beach on July 3, 2016. Since we started our wedding planning back in September, we were told our hotel coordinator would be another woman but due to some personal circumstances, our coordinator changed to Ana Moran, who was with us for the whole process. During that time, with Ana being new, it wasn't always easy, especially since we had a lot of guests over the period of one week and a few complicated requests. We sure put Ana's new job to the test! However, Ana and her team went far above our expectations. Ana's hard work, dedication, professionalism, diligence, helpfulness was uncanny. Ana was always available, setting up meetings with vendors, day of coordinators and family members. Even though she had many other events for the hotel she always made ours feel the most important and has always treated us with the utmost respect. I can not say enough about how wonderful Ana has been, to me, my husband, my family and our many guests. In fact, our guests were thrilled with their stay, they came back the following week and Ana still took such good care of them! We do not know how to thank Ana for everything she has done. Let me give you some examples. On Saturday, the day before the wedding, we had some guests who could only eat Kosher food, so since we had some from the night before, Ana came up with a brilliant idea of letting us take a table and a lunch hour to serve the guests who otherwise would not have eaten. We were all go grateful! Another example of how wonderful the staff has been, we had a brunch on Monday morning after the wedding, and Jesus Orozco (Banquet Manager), thought about taking the flowers from the wedding and putting them on the tables for the morning. These acts has just shown just how much they care and none of it went unnoticed. I would also like to extend our gratitude to the hotel staff, Maria Castillo from concierge has been wonderful from day one, she always made us feel like celebrities, and has been so welcoming and warm. The wonderful and personable bartenders and servers, Stevo Ronney, Rick Lloyd, Sergio Sazo, Linda Torres and Fachad Mannanov, Manuel Covaribias, Juan Tejeda, Juan Torres, Arturo Ramirez, Denise Cobarrubias, Gerardo Zacarias, Salvador N, Rebeca Prado, Jaime Martinez, Arturo Ramirez.Alfredo Manzo, Juan Jimenez and Juan Pena JR. The houseman Fredy Garcia and Emilio Olague. The wonderful maid staff, the staff at the front desk, the bell staff, please note how kind, responsive and welcoming they were too. If you're even planning a wedding or any type of event, do not pass the Crowne Plaza, they are a wonderful staff accompanied by a beautiful and comfortable hotel. The location is wonderful, the staff is absolutely fabulous, you can't get any better!!!!!! Ana-Thank you so so so much for making our wedding so incredibly special! You made our party exactly what we envisioned and more! We love you!!!!!

My wedding at the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach was amazing! From the very first time I went in for a tour i was treated with lots of attention and kindness. My coordinator was Ana Moran and she is the absolute best, so sweet and a great person to help plan your special day! She always made herself available to meet with me to discuss any matter, small or large. Her attention to detail was greatly appreciated and made sure all of our request were met. She made sure everything was set up for rehearsal and when the wedding day came, it couldn't have gone any smoother. She made the wedding planning very stress-free for me and i couldn't be happier with her assistance. The staff during our wedding was very helpful and made sure all our guest were taken care of. The venue is beautiful! We had the ceremony on the Harbor Terrace which over looks the ocean and the reception in the SeaScape ballroom. The ballroom was absolutely beautiful and looked amazing when everything was set up. I liked the attached patio which was great for cocktail hour and also allowed guest to walk to the patio to mingle during the reception. The hotel itself has just gone through a remodel phase and its very modern looking and classy. I would definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a venue in the South Bay. All my guest who stayed at the hotel were very happy with the rooms and the staff.

Overall we had a ton of fun at our wedding. The terrace is a great place to have an outdoor ceremony (April) and we had our reception in the big ballroom. We had 250 guests in there with plenty of space (it fits about 450 I think, but that would be very cramped). However, there were logistical things with the hotel that made it difficult. In order to keep from going way over budget, we informed them we did not want to allow shots or doubles at the bar. This was not communicated properly to the bartenders and the tab ran up very quickly (10K), and we were forced to turn our bar into a cash bar at about 10:45 pm, which was a real bummer. Also, it seemed they were serving alcohol in the higher tier level than we had requested (they have tiers such as premium and deluxe brands with different prices). I would say if you book this hotel, be very clear on your bartending instructions, and communicate it to them several times. Also tell your coordinator to make sure they are following what you asked as well.

I can not be happier with the service and overall experience we received at the Crowne Plaza for our wedding celebration. As a bride, Ana M, Dennis L and their whole team gave me the comfort to know everything taken care of and my wedding guests were properly handled. 60% of our wedding guest were coming out of town and the CP was the perfect southern CA location for them. As an event planner, I know there are so many things that can go wrong the day of an event, but Ana made sure the day ran smoothly. She was so patient with us (especially my huge family) and met with me multiple times to make sure I was content. I definitely recommend this location!

Please DO NOT have your wedding here. I should have known from day one when I got the contract full of grammar and spelling mistakes. They constantly went back on their word on many things. On the day of, there were two weddings and my wedding was understaffed and incredibly disorganized, though they had our final guest count well in advance of the day. On top of everything, my envelope box was stolen from their parking lot and no one from the hotel was helpful in finding out what happened. These are just a few of the many disappointments and frustrations we had over the many months of planning we put into our wedding. PLEASE Stay away from this place.

This hotel has a complicated room blocking system that was too complicated, and didn't work for most of our guests. At least it was free. The planning process was very stressful. Thankfully in the end I finally was reassigned to a VERY helpful and accommodating Customer Service Rep who made everything better and threw in some extras for our stress, but only after many of our guests decided not to book there. We also had 2 nights after our wedding there and had a great time. The actual stay was wonderful, but I wouldn't recommend them for a wedding hotel block.

We chose this hotel because it was a nice, classy hotel across the street from our reception, the Cheese Cake Factory. They gave us a discount since we had our wedding guests stay there. The rooms were nice but we ended up with double beds instead of queen beds so that was a bit disappointing but the rom was nice, the lobby was beautiful, and the views were great. The parking is a bit expensive.

We had our reception in the smallest room at the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach, which was plenty large for our crowd. Sheree, our wedding coordinator, was fantastic even though I know we stressed her out on occasion with a large percentage of our guests coming from out of town. She was always friendly and patient with us and worked well with our wedding coordinator. The food was way beyond what I expected of hotel food - some guests asked who we had hired to cater! My only complaint - with everything being newly remodeled, you'd think they would have put in dimmers everywhere. Lighting makes such a huge difference and more intimate lighting would have made it look even better. We also stayed here for 2 nights and put many of our guests up here as well (we were able to negotiate a good discounted rate). The suites (including the junior suite) are HUGE and very nice and all of the staff was excellent. The only star I docked was value (because it is an overly expensive area).

I worked with the Crowne Plaza for over 2 years and they were amazing in the planning process. The wedding planner - Sheree Dewesee at the Crowne Plaza, was willing to work with my husband and I on all wedding details and worked hard to make our wedding amazing.

Beautiful location professional and knowledgeable staff. Ceremony location is outside but they dont have indoor option incase of rain. We did have to move our ceremony in because of rain and staff effortlessly changed locations and set up ceremony in the mezzaine which still had a beautiful ocean view

The catering manager, Sheree Deweese, is awesome! She has been doing this for a number of years at the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach so knows what she is doing! And because of that, she knows many contacts in the business. She is always prompt on emails and was more than willing to meet whenever we requested it. We live out of state which made the planning process a little more challenging, but Sheree was definately accomodating. Our only complaint about this location is that they charge for parking, internet, and the room rates are on the higher side compared to some other hotels in the area. Other than that, our wedding reception was perfect. The catering staff was excellent, food was delicious, and we honestly could not have asked for anything more.

The crowne plaza in redondo beach was the prefect setting for our wedding. Our coordinator Sheree made sure that everything went the way we expected. it was the perfect day!

We used the crowne plaza for our 1/13/2011 wedding. The price was great! The food was sooo good! Service was great! They made the room look perfect! Talk to Sheree, she was very helpful!

We had a large Italian/Jewish Wedding Reception/Dinner at the Crowne Plaza in Redondo Beach. We worked with Sheree DeWeese, and her staff. Sheree together with her staff exceeded our expectations! We had a guest list of over 375 people, and every detail went as planned. No glitches, no problems, no worries! I would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza in Redondo Beach for any event, large or small. They have a quality, professional staff. I would do it there again in a heart beat!

After attending a handful of weddings this year, I still had very little knowledge on how organizing a reception worked. Catering Manager Sheree Deweese was so helpful and patient with me and organized what can only be described as the best reception that I have ever been to. The food was delicious, the catering staff was very attentive, and everything was handled without me having to worry about a thing. If I were to do it all over again, I would absolutely return to Crowne Plaza and work with Sheree again.

I especially loved the food and the service. I have been to many weddings where the food was alright. However at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Redondo Beach and Marina I not only got to offer my guests appetizers I got to offer them different menu choices. I offered them a choice of Grilled Chicken Filet Mignon and Halibut. I also had kids at the wedding and the Crowne Plaza offered kids menus that consisted of either a hamburger with french fries ice cream fresh fruit and milk or chicken fingers freshfruit and french fries ice cream and milk. I got so many compliments on the dinner. Also the catering manager Sheree Deweese was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and made sure I got what I needed. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach and Marina.;I don't have anything to warn about.

View outdoor reception area overlooking the ocean with space for a cocktail reception. The food was awesome and the waitstaff was excellent. Sheree Deweese (Catering/Wedding Manager) is great. The cake is included and through Torrance or Mayers bakery. We used Torrance bakery and they were excellent;Banquet manager (forgot his name) was rude. There were some issues with the hotel rooms of out-of-town-guests but I believe they were eventually resolved.

Felt comfortable and inviting.;In December, it is quite cold, since the hotel is across the street from the beach.
