My husband and I were just married this past weekend here. It was such an amazing day for the both of us. We worked really close with Kara. She made all my wedding dreams come true. She was so organized. Anything we needed or wanted she was always a phone call or email away. Every single person who attended our wedding all commented on how beautiful this venue was. It's so quiet and quaint. Oh and The food at our reception was delicious. If you do choose to get married here you will not be disappointed.

We had our ceremony and reception at Gainey Suites Hotel and it went better than we could have ever expected! Right off the bat, we loved working with Kara! She was our go-to throughout the whole planning process and made all our dreams come to life. As a bride I kept coming up with ideas and little details that I wanted to be part of our wedding day, Kara simply made it happen. I wasn't sure how all my ideas, decorations, and plans were going to come together, but I never had to worry. Kara handled everything and it all turned out better than I could have even imagined. I was able to drop things off at the venue early and she had it all set up beautifully for me. In fact, I can't imagine the stress I'd have been under had we not had her to help us along the way! We also booked our vendors through the wedding package Gainey offers and it was extremely simple! Every vendor we worked with was fantastic and having it all done in one lump sum made it so EASY for me! The package included the officiant, florist, photographer, and DJ. They were ALL wonderful and have worked really closely with Kara many times before. It was so nice that they all knew each other, knew the venue, and made all the details come together perfectly for us. We were really excited that Gainey Suites Hotel is dog friendly as well and we were able to have our dog as the ring bearer in our ceremony, which was really important to us! Many of our out of town guests stayed at the hotel and they all absolutely loved it. The staff was helpful and friendly to everyone. Plus they offer complimentary breakfast and happy hour each day! Our guests loved the food/drinks that were provided and it saved them from making trips out to eat. Plus they loved relaxing on the terrace and in the Hearth room each day. If we could do it all over again we wouldn't change a thing. Gainey Suites Hotel was perfect, and better yet.. simple planning! I recommend it to my engaged friends all the time now! It's definitely worth your time to visit and meet with Kara if you are wedding planning!

This was a destination wedding for us and most of our guests. Kara was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end and made whatever changes needed to be made with no stress to us at all. The hotel was fantastic and made sure that we were all very well taken care of. We felt very special during our stay and the outdoor venue was perfect! Food and service fabulous. The vendors she helped us contact and eventually use were spot on! All the feedback from our guests was spectacular! Not planning another wedding but would highly recommend Gainey Suites to other future brides.

I can't imagine holding my wedding anywhere else. Kara, my wedding coordinator, was beyond amazing. From the moment I met her she made me and my (then) fiancée feel so comfortable. She was always available to answer my questions, no matter how silly and small. Kara kept me informed of what was going on the day of, and really put me at ease, which made it easier for me to relax and enjoy my wedding day. Whatever we wanted in our ceremony and reception she made happen. When the day came the staff took suck wonderful care of everyone. There wasn't anything we needed. The front desk staff was always so helpful and friendly. Everything was set up exactly the way we wanted it to be. They had everything boxed up and ready to go for us on Sunday, and made it so easy for us to just get going. Everyone was simply amazing! We opted for the buffet, and never regretted it. The food was fresh and tender. Each mouthful was delicious. The food at our wedding was even better then the food we tasted at our tasting. Everything was so worth it. Most of our guests (and my husband) went back for seconds and thirds! The vendors that were available in the vendor package were incredible to work with. It was great working with people who enjoy working together and already knew the property as well as how to set everything up. They were all individual contractors, but worked enough together that they planned everything together. It really took the pressure off and gave me and my husband that extra sense of security. ***Price included vendors****

We had our wedding on March 21, 2015 at Gainey Suites. Because of our busy schedule, we could not start to plan the wedding until early December, 2014 (this left us only 3 months before the wedding), and I moved to other state from Arizona early January and could not personally planned most of the wedding. We found Gainey Suites on knot, and its reviews were so great that we would like to try. Kara is the catering manager in Gainey Suites. She is so professional in doing and planning the wedding, and every time I met her, I could feel her enthusiasm and excitement for our wedding. she helped us find all the vendors, including the DJ, florist, cake, photographer and etc (the vendor package with Gainey Suites is excellent!!!). So basically, I just needed to fly back to Phoenix, met the vendors over the weekend, and told them what we would like in our wedding. Meanwhile, she was willing to answer all the questions even though these were not her responsibility. We were very lucky to have perfect weather that allowed us to have outdoor ceremony and reception on our wedding day, and the temperature was perfect (78-80F), not Arizona summer hot. The wedding went very well and smoothly. We did not need to worry about anything at all, because Kara has already taken care of every detail for us. Most importantly, every guest loved the food in the reception, because Gainey Suites has awesome chef!!! The service is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the free guest room for the newly-wed couple has wonderful view of the courtyard! It is definitely worth the money we spent! Some of our friends even told us that Gainey Suites would definitely be their first choice in the future when they visit Scottsdale! We will too!

Everything was so amazing!! It was everything I wanted and picture for my dream day. The staff and service was excellent. Kara Mason the wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing!!! We loved her!! She never seemed annoyed or acted like I had to many questions. She was so helpful and thoughtful. She really cared about what I wanted. I would highly recommend this venue!! The hotel is so nice and rooms are lovely and outside where we got married was amazing!!

I had a WONDERFUL experience with Gainey Suites. Kara was an absolute joy to work with. They made everything so easy, and took all the stress away from my plate. And the price is hard to beat!! I would recommend this venue to anyone! It's quaint and beautiful, and everyone that works there is great.

My husband and I were just married here on June 7. I had toured several locations around the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and Gainey Suites always stuck out as the best option. It had a beautiful outdoor space which is what I always imagined for a wedding and it was just an all around great value. I had a 64 attendee wedding (and most people had to drive/fly in and stay in the hotel as well) and almost every person came up to us at one point to say that this was the most beautiful wedding, that they LOVED the hotel and their rooms, and that they loved how close the wedding was to their room, that it felt intimate or to say they loved the location. The food was excellent and they offered a great plan where the food and open bar was included in one great price per person, which made it so much easier for me!! Kara is their event planner and she is wonderful, helpful, attentive, responsive, and really put together every detail that I asked for! I literally could not say enough great things about Gainey Suites!!

My experience with Gainey Ranch was amazing. My new husband and I worked with them for over a year to plan our wedding and they were with us every step of the way. They answered any and all of our questions and made us feel comfortable and confident! We worked with Kara to plan this and she is nothing short of amazing! She helped me with every little detail from the fabric on the arch to the gems we used in our centerpieces! I would do it again with Gainey Ranch because of how perfect it was!

My husband and I found Gainey Suites back in August of 2013. We had a horrible experience at the first venue we looked at so we were feeling so discouraged. We live in Las Vegas and he is in the military so we had a very limited time frame to find a venue. When we called Gainey they said the wedding coordinator might be busy, but he would be more than happy to show us around when we got there. When we arrived to Gainey Suites we were BLOWN AWAY! We were immediately greeted and we were shown the wedding site outside and we fell in love! We met their wedding coordinator Kara and again we were just blown away! She answered every question we had plus questions we never even thought to ask! Between the first time we saw the venue to our wedding she was always in constant contact with us about everything! She knew we didn't live in Arizona and she genuinely wanted us to feel that everything was being taken care of and we weren't forgotten. Our wedding day went off without a hitch! Food was perfect, music was perfect and the reception was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! The staff was friendly and helpful. We couldn't have found any place better for beauty and great customer service! My husband and I will definitely be back whenever we stay in Arizona. I can't thank them enough for giving us such a beautiful wedding!

We were looking for a small quiet elegant place for our wedding and we found it at Gainry Suits... Kara wad amazing and everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for more... I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend :)

Our wedding was on December 7th at Gainey Suites Hotel. Kara Mason was our coordinator and did a great job from our first meeting right through our wedding night. They provided a range of services that fit any budget and allow you to be flexible with planning. Also, there are no hidden secrets when it comes to the cost structure as everything was up front. Compared to other places we visited it was very difficult to get pricing information and they seemed very elusive. We are not a cheap couple, but let's be honest, the budget is a big part of your planning process. In terms of the hotel itself, there is a beautiful dining room that leads out to a porch and grassy courtyard. We had our ceremony there and then simply walked 20 feet to the cocktail hour. In other words, it is beautiful and convenient for your guests. We had a lot of out of town guests who really appreciated the nightly happy hour and morning breakfast provided with your stay...convenient and delicious. Kara and the staff at Gainey Suites Hotel were incredible!! She took her time and listened to everything we wanted and made it happen. She was there with us every step of the way. The staff was very helpful as well and made us all feel very welcome and at home. The venue itself is gorgeous! It has a very intimate and homey feel. We had our reception in the Hearth Room and I am so glad we did!! The reception pictures came out wonderful!! I am very happy with the everything. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is with an employee or manager (I am not sure what her role was) who was rude to one of my bridesmaids about a smoking section and was kind of snippy with me as well. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know. But I wasn't going to complain to anyone or let it ruin my day. All in all l would recommend this hotel to any bride that is looking for a intimate venue with an incredible staff!!

Having our wedding at Gainey was the best choice! We moved here from PA and wanted to find the perfect romantic, yet affordable spot that everyone coming from out of town would enjoy. We loved that we could have everything there and they hooked us up with vendors as well. Kara was amazing and wonderful to work with. She was so helpful and always available when we had questions. We dropped everything off a week before and left it in her hands to make our day beautiful and she went above and beyond. I did not see anything set-up until I went to walk down the aisle and I was just blown away. We had around 65 people there for our day and it was perfect. Everything from the decor, the food, the staff...all wonderful! She checked on us all day to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. I feel like I made a friend in her and cannot wait to go back on our one year anniversary! That is another bonus, on your one year you get to come back and they hook you up with a nights stay, a Village Tavern giftcard (right next door and great as well. We had our rehearsal dinner there!), spa treatments and more. I highly recommend using this venue for your big day. We used the covered patio to dance that night too and had the bar outside too. Everyone raved about it and said it was the nicest place they had been for a wedding and super fun! It was a blast! Thank you Kara and Gainey Suites for our Fairy Tale!!

We had our destination wedding ceremony and reception at Gainey Suites and we cannot express how incredible the staff, service and atmosphere were. From the guest rooms to the catering/wedding manager, everything was perfect. As a bride, there are many things to remember and worry about. At Gainey, they had everything covered. Not only were our guests relaxed, but we (bride and groom) were, as well. The environment is stunning, and we are so lucky to have found Gainey. I wish we could do it all over again.... I guess we have our anniversaries to visit back, and when we decide to renew our vows! If you are looking for a beautiful venue and a place to help you along with your planning, Gainey Suites is the place for you.

Our wedding at Gainey Suites was amazing. I can't say enough about Kara and everything that she did for us. Many of our guests also said it was the best wedding with the best food and bar they had ever been to! That speaks volumes to both Kara as well as the chef and catering staff at the hotel. About 80% of our guests were from out of town and we also loved the fact that it was a bit of a destination without getting lost like we would have at a larger resort. Overall, we will definitely be back, and the rest of our family is talking about having family reunions and other events at Gainey in the future!

Gainey Suites was the first venue we looked at and they basically became the metric by which we measured all other venues. We had a small wedding -- less than 50 people. Most venues were way too big for our wedding and many of the venues we toured basically lost all interest in us the second the words "small" and "50 guests" left our mouths. Gainey had a room that was the perfect size for our small group and they didn't lose interest in us simply because we weren't going to have a huge group. We had both the ceremony and reception there. For under $10,000 we got all the chairs we needed for the ceremony, a wrought iron archway with flower decorations, a portable sound system, the photographer, the wedding cake, a 4-hour open bar, the full catered meal, table linens, etc. And considering one of the venues we looked at was going to charge $0.85 per dish, flatware, glasses, etc., Gainey offered the best bang for your buck. While Gainey was certainly the best value we found, the level of service that Kara, the catering coordinator, provided was amazing. She was so helpful and friendly and just talking with her on our initial meeting put us so at ease we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. And that level of helpfulness and service was present throughout the entire process. My husband and I knew literally nothing about how to plan a wedding. She helped guide us through things we had never thought about (like how to fold the napkins) and offered suggestions whenever we were at a loss. In short, our wedding was everything we had hoped it would be and a lot of that is owed to Gainey Suites and the amazing staff they have.

I loved working with Kara on everything regarding our special day. We had a vision for the ceremony and reception, but weren't sure how to turn our imaginations into reality and she helped make that happen. Our family and friends kept using the word "enchanting" to describe the ceremony and reception following in the courtyard. We felt it was the perfect place for our favorite people to celebrate with us and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would (and will) recommend this to ANYONE!

The Gainey Suites Hotel is a wonderful location in Scottsdale to have a wedding. We have the wedding in the internal courtyard and the reception inside, but you could have it all inside or all outside if you prefer. The wedding packages are great, and everything is an al a carte menu so you can choose from the wedding services they have. (Cake, Officiant, Flowers, DJ, etc.) We used the officiant, florist and cake service that they offered. Kara, was always available over the phone and in person for the many questions I had. She understood my vision and was able to see it through. It was better than even I imagined. I will never be able to say enough good things about the venue. My husband and I were gald that we were able to get married there.
