Sonnet Weddings

we only had a limited time in NWA before the wedding, Maddie's support was absolutely crucial to our day going smoothly. Her coordination of vendors was impeccable and I was so thankful to not have to worry about all those tiny details that I struggled to even think of. A few things that really stood out to me about working with Maddie/Sonnet: - Right off the bat, I noticed that the contact form used inclusive language like, "You and Your Partner's Name" rather than Bride and Groom, etc which seems hard to come by in the wedding industry. Though I consider myself an ally, many people that I love are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and it meant a lot to know that any of my friends and loved ones would truly be included here. - Maddie had incredible vendor recommendations and has clearly built a lot of trust and great relationships with wedding vendors in the area. Maddie is also really mindful of supporting businesses owned by folks from various marginalized communities which I really appreciate. - Maddie was extremely supportive of my minimalistic vision/design and never pressured me to do more than what I was comfortable with—for example, when I mentioned that I wanted to wear my glasses for the wedding and not wear any makeup and expressed that I was afraid people would pressure me into doing something different, she was extremely encouraging and helped me make the decision that felt right for me and I couldn't be happier that I wore my glasses and little more than tinted lip balm on my wedding day and felt like the best version of myself :) - Covid, covid, covid: Due to covid, we ended up having to significantly scale down our guest list and make changes to plans and Maddie was so incredibly helpful in making sure our wedding was as safe as it could possibly be, while still being an incredibly special day. I really appreciate how seriously Maddie took the covid precautions and she even sent me frequent updates on covid case counts in the area and state mandates in the weeks leading up to the wedding. There's really so much more that I could say to support my recommendation for Sonnet Weddings/Maddie, but no one's trying to read a novel, so I'll stop here! If I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't just go with month-of coordination, I'd do full planning. Trust me, you need Sonnet Weddings to be a part of your wedding, you will not regret it!

Maddie sat down with me and asked me tons of great questions to tease out my vision, and she made the most beautiful and detailed design document that was my saving grace throughout the planning process. It kept my vision focused on the things that were most important to me and helped me communicate that to my vendors. Maddie is so knowledgeable, and she was a voice of reason through the planning process and wedding weekend. She constantly encouraged me, and I knew I could trust her with the tasks she took on. She even gave birth to her first baby weeks before my wedding so she worked diligently to make sure everything possible contingency was covered. No matter what your style is, your wedding will be better if Sonnet is a part of it!

didn't know what that looked like until we were introduced to Maddie's creativity and experience in the industry. She walked us through the whole process, and with each call and visit, she adjusted and executed the details to make our wedding exactly what we wanted! Her boho, whimsical, eclectic style added character to the modern look that we also wanted to incorporate. She was so easy to work, so sweet, so calm, and she made us feel like a priority always. We were relaxed through out the whole year of planning, up until it was all over. Our wedding turned out flawless! I highly recommend her to anyone and wish we could do it all over again :)

On the day of, we had a terrible thunderstorm- Maddie put all of my fears and worries aside and moved our ceremony of almost 300 people inside without a hiccup. I would recommend Maddie/Sonnet Weddings without hesitation!!! Maddie- I'm so thankful for you and all you did!

ade wedding planning joyful & easy, a celebration of our marriage. Communication was phenomenal, trust and transparency were natural, and fun was constant. She was creative and made our vision a reality, even when I had no idea how to communicate what I was thinking. She offered suggestions and helped us stay on track. She took care of hard conversations and stressful moments, whether with vendors or our own family members. Maddie allowed me & my family to just enjoy the day before and day of. She's the coolest and our wedding was the best day ever because of her!!
