Sophia's Gowns

I adored Sophia's gowns! The two ladies that work there were so helpful and sweet. The prices here are much more affordable, and they have dresses that are just as stunning as any other store! Kelly, the new owner and former employee, is so sweet. She always welcomed me with a smile and spent her time with me. Also, the lady that the alterations did an amazing job, and was much less expensive than I expected. If I had to buy any special occasion dress I would go here again in a heartbeat.

My mother, sister, and I went here to pass the time. Not to intentionally look for a dress. The consultants were very sweet and encouraged me to try one on. I tried on the first one I looked at and knew it was the one. We left and I went to many other places and realized I did not feel like a princess anywhere else the way I felt at sophia's. We came back and the consultant remembered me and the dress I had tried on. They were so sweet. Then sent me a had written thank you note later. I have never experienced this kind of personalized genuine service. I can't be more grateful.

Buyer Beware- I wish I had enough space to write everything we experienced so I will do it in a nutshell- #1 the owner is rude with a bunch of excuses and zero apology. My daughter went to the salon knowing they sold a dress she wanted. We were excited they had the sample and my daughter loved the dress and bling belt added. We decided to place our order and paid in full Oct 2017. They measured my daughter loosely over her clothing and said said she needed a size 10. I would love to be a 10 however my daughter is tiny and wears a 02 jean and never worn a dress bigger than a 04. We were assured that this was her correct size and that designers have different size charts. We reluctantly signed off on the size and also ordered the bling belt. My daughter picked up the dress 2/2/2018 it was huge and the belt that was supposed to only take 2 weeks was not in. She came home in tears with a big dress and no belt. Finally after 4 months the belt came in - we had since moved - my daughter drove over there on a Monday around 2pm the shop was lit and the door was open the owner immediately rudely stated they were closed. My daughter explained she only needed a pick up and no longer lived near the shop and the owner seemed very put out to give her the item but she did. My daughter told me that Gail told her to check the hours on the website and Gail told me that she did not say that and my daughter was a liar??? Who says that to a customer??? Why would Kayley even make that up it has no significance- The fitted belt is enormous and we noticed white out on the paper tags with a hand written size 10 when we checking inside the belt the size is sewn it - it was a women’s size 14 - what a nightmare. You can see actual pictures on the FB review. Thankfully another bridal shop is taking on her alterations even though we did not buy the dress there. They sell for the same designer and measured Kayley and they said they would have suggested a size 6 had we come there. We will be paying unnecessarily 1/2 the price of the dress for the alterations- had they ordered her the correct size her grandmother would have made slight alterations for free. The owner is a bully and when my daughter left a FB review she said she was a size 10 and my daughter deleted the review- we wonder if this is Gail’s tactics to keep warranted bad reviews off. When I spoke to her she had a bunch of excuses- called us liars - I literally told her she was crazy. I don’t see how she is even in business treating customers the way she does. I think true integrity is shown not when things turn out right but when things turn out wrong and how that is handled- Gail and Sophia’s Gowns failed miserably at that. We feel blessed for the new bridal salon and lucky for them I have 5 more daughters who will someday be getting married. We now know where to go. Gail has no idea the unnecessary stress and heartache they caused by grossly missizing and giving us a 4 sizes to big belt and I am 100% sure she doesn’t care in the slightest.

I've always been a little self-conscious about myself and never envisioned myself looking (and feeling) like a queen in a wedding gown, but everyone at Sophia's is so warm and welcoming that you immediately feel like family. I was able to find my dream dress with the help of Morgan and the owner, Gail. I had so many questions answered about what style would look best on me and they helped me figure out what I liked. I also have 9 bridesmaids and their knowledge of dresses took all of the stress off my shoulders. Even better, my mother found her dress at this boutique as well. This experience was like no other, and I would highly recommend Sophia's to any bride, bridesmaid, or mother of the bride.

I went to 6 salons and had awful experiences until I decided to try Sophia’s. They were so wonderful - from the second I walked in with the challenge of finding a very specific type of gown to helping me find the gown and through the alterations process as well. The owner and staff are so sweet and I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great experience finding the right gown.

My consultants were extremely patient and helpful. They understood what I was trying to say about what I liked and disliked, even when I couldn't fully articulate it. They were flexible and I never once felt rushed. I couldn't be happier! This shop exceeded my expectations and I walked out with the dress of my dreams.

This bridal store is so amazing! The bridal consultants and store manager were so helpful. Morgan and Kelly were very pleasant to work with. They were very informative without being overwhelming or too pushy. We were at another bridal chain store where the bride felt very overwhelmed and could not come to a decision. They were adding too many options for belts, veils, jewelry, etc on dresses she didn't even like. At Sophia's Gowns they were very attentive to the bride's needs and listened to her wants. Her dress is perfect!

Gail is an amazing person who was so helpful! I loved taking my Bridesmaids to this beautiful boutique, we were all treated like queens. I found the most beautiful dress with the help of her staff.
