Sound Bound is a professional DJ and MC of nearly 30 years based in Berkley, MI, aspiring to give couples a memorable soundtrack for their wedding day. Owner Michael Rundel is passionate about instilling feel-good moments into milestone gatherings through music and lighting. Taking his cue from your unique crowd, he will ensure your wedding day ends on a high note, giving you the send-off you deserve. Sound Bound is founded on Michael's deep appreciation for music's incredible power. For this experienced DJ, a great playlist is key to life's most emotional moments. The right song can drift you back to an incredible night, and he aims to give you an entire soundtrack of fond memories. Sound Bound offers intuitive, attentive services for every stage of the wedding day, from the ceremony to the evening reception. Michael chooses to tailor the music to your needs in the moment, allowing loved ones to make requests that match the room's energy. His music collection covers every decade, touching off each one's distinctive genres from jazz to disco to EDM. He also offers up-lighting packages to take your venue's ambiance to the next level. In 2021, Sound Bound won WDIV's Best of Detroit Wedding DJ's, this was a huge honor and accolade!

I've been a professional DJ and MC for nearly 30 years. I started out in clubs all over the Detroit area. I love music so much, its a part of me. Next to air, food, water and my wife its the next thing I can't live without. Being in front of a crowd all moving to the same beat, singing the same song, breathing the same air, all connected in the moment by music, there's nothing else like. I've been fortunate to DJ for so many countless people. I've had the opportunity to DJ not only for so many wonderful couples but for actors and actresses, people in the music industry and sports figures.
