We hired Sound Force for our wedding at the last minute and they were great to work with. We had been planning on using a playlist but realized that it was just too much for us to ...
deal with logistically. We found Sound Force and luckily they were available for our date. Communicating with them was very easy via email and phone calls and we got everything planned quickly. They even had a web portal for us to use to put in songs we liked and songs we didn’t. They also accommodated us giving them a MP3 file of a song that my brother recorded for the father-daughter dance. The DJ who came was very nice and professional and did a great job MCing the evening for us. My only complaint was that we didn’t feel like the playlist included a lot of the songs we had requested and the DJ didn’t really take request from anyone, except me (the bride). But the music he played was still a lot of fun to dance to, and he did also make up for this by playing for an hour past our scheduled end time, which was great because my husband and I were actually able to enjoy some time on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend Sound Force for your event or wedding.
This vendor did a great job at our wedding playing music that the crowd liked. They also were able to do draping and provide chairs and it was SO nice to have someone who could pro...
vide multiple services on the day of our wedding.
SoundForce made our big day go off without a hitch. We used them for our wedding and reception, and they made sure everything went smoothly. The drapery accents were fabulous, the ...
disco ball was a huge hit, and the dance floor was never empty! We only wish that more songs off our personal playlist were played during the reception. SoundForce comes highly recommended!
Sound force made it quick and easy to book and it was the one vendor that we did not have to worry about the day of the wedding. Once we booked they contacted us for a consultation...
and had every detail covered. They had questions that we had not even thought of and their DJ was almost like a second wedding planner making sure events happened on time and in order. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
We hired Sound Force for our wedding in September and they were awesome! They kept the dance floor full during the dancing, did our grand entrances with a bang, and the office was ...
very professional when helping us with booking! I would definitely recommend Sound Force for your wedding!
Sound Force was absolutely AMAZING! They provided ceremony audio as well as a DJ for our reception. Our DJ kept the night moving at the pace we wanted and if any changes needed to ...
be made as far as the timeline it was not a problem to do so on the night of. The music played was perfect and kept the dance floor moving all night long. They made everything so easy for my husband and I from the beginning to the end. You can not go wrong with Sound Force!
We were very particular when it came to our wedding reception music and Soundforce accommodated everything we wanted. We literally had our reception mapped out song by song and our...
DJ did everything exactly as we asked! He was super friendly and did an incredible job making our wedding feel timeless, classic, and fun. If you are worried about getting a dj because you don’t want them to take over your reception or make people feel forced to dance, then Soundforce is the way to go! They hand pick a DJ for you that fits your style and the vibe you are going for at your wedding.
Sound Force was amazing and so easy to work with! I asked a lot of questions and Haleigh was so quick to respond and was so patient with me! The online portion made it so easy for ...
me to let them know what kind of music and style we were looking for, and the DJ definitely kept everyone dancing. Everyone was so friendly at Sound Force and made the wedding reception run so smoothly.
We had an AMAZING wedding thanks to Sound Force! They were easy to communicate with during the planning, prompt in arrival and set up, and professional the entire night. I especia...
lly love that their DJs do not partake in the open bar (as I have seen many at other weddings and find it ridiculous). They really know how to keep the party going without becoming the center of attention. My guests did not stop dancing the entire time! People are still talking about how great the DJ was! I would definitely recommend Sound Force for your wedding!
Sound Force provided the music for my daughter’s wedding in Nashville. It was perfect! Not only were they professional, but also clearly talented. They did a fabulous job with grea...
t song selections and made the whole evening even more enjoyable for the guests and the bride and groom! I highly recommend them to anyone!
We were very happy with Sound Force! We were from out of town and their website to add songs and the ability to email back and forth was super easy and hassle-free. The DJ was grea...
t during the ceremony and reception and made to sure to hold up "rules" (like not playing certain songs at our request) the entire evening. The dancing and lights were great and we would absolutely recommend Sound Force for an event!
You can’t go wrong with Sound Force on your wedding day! Trusting them to keep the dance floor packed is the best decision I made and they delivered without me making a music playl...
ist. They have been doing this for a very long time, so I knew hiring them was going to be smooth ride on my wedding day! Our guests LOVED them!
Prior to the wedding, we worked with Haleigh to get everything organized. She was super friendly, and we were able to get all the music sorted out through a quick phone call.
When ...
we arrived, the Sound Tech had everything set up and ready to roll. However, we ended up moving the dance floor to a different location, and he moved everything for us.
Everett was our DJ, and he kept everyone dancing by playing the songs we’d picked out. He was accommodating by shortening songs when needed (our first dance song was really long, so he cut it when we gave the nod), and he took requests, which my dad definitely too advantage of (haha).
The owner, Leasha, was great, and very interested in getting feedback on our day so they can always be improving. That’s an awesome trait in a business owner. Thanks for your commitment to making the experience the best it can be.
Overall, would recommend. We had some special requests including the cake projection.
One reason for the 4 stars is getting in touch with them is difficult. The communication is no...
t great. I was nervous about the projection because it was specific and I called/emailed a lot trying to get info on the projection and making sure we were on the same page about it and I felt like I never got a clear discussion that made me confident it would be how I wanted. It ended up be pretty decent but not what I was expecting which I think I would’ve known had I had better communication about it.
Also I sent a few emails the week of with some last minute questions/changing of speeches but they didn’t receive those before the event. The lights were the wrong color in the beginning and were dimmed at the wrong time but they were very minuscule issues.
The DJ was great! The music was exactly how I wanted and the guests had a great time. They also were great in coordinating with my photographer and caterer. Again I would recommend, but would recommend communication improvements.
Sound Force provided background dinner music while people ate, announce the wedding party, and provided all the dance music. They kept the dancing going! They did charge extra in o...
rder to be able to set up within an hour. Also, while announcing the wedding party they forgot to call out two couples and their was a few seconds of awkwardness - but no one remembers those details.
The dj was amazing!! He played all the songs we wanted and NONE of the songs we didn't. The had a database of thousands of songs to choose from to make things easier. To top it al...
l off, the workers in the office were so nice and helpful. Perfect experience.
Sound Force was incredibly easy to work with, and the DJ did a fantastic job at our wedding! The DJ was very professional, and did a great job announcing events, the wedding party,...
speeches, etc. We also had them do the sound for our ceremony, which was great, especially so all of our guests (especially the older ones) could hear everything. I would highly recommend Sound Force.
One of our guests said to me, "Your DJ is so amazing. I don't know if you know this, but he's actually mixing over there." Working with Philip was one of the best decisions we (and...
our great planner) made.
One of the goals for our wedding was to have a great dance party at the end of the night, and Philip was awesome at mixing the perfect play list for people of all ages. We gave him a set of songs we liked, a few requests, a do-not-play list, and the floor was packed all night.
We also used Sound Force for the lighting and decor, and our dancing tent was perfect. The initial quote came back pretty high, but Leasha came back with a great alternative that worked with the vibe and the budget we hoped for.
The only thing to know about working with the team at Sound Force - on DJing or on lighting/decor - is that they work so many weddings that they are very hard to get in touch with or sit down with. So as long as you are fine working through email, the results will be amazing - you just might feel a little stressed by not talking 1-to-1.
Sound Force came highly rated and it's very easy to see why. The service at the wedding was exactly what we discussed previously, and they worked seamlessly with our specific music...
files and requests.
Sound force was so easy to work with and did a fantastic job of getting everyone on the dance floor and exactly what we wanted!
We loved SoundForce. They were very easy to work with and did a great job on the day of our reception. The only con I would have is they are not the best as communication. They w...
ill definitely not go out of their way to let you know what stage of the process you are in as far as booking and selecting a DJ. I requested a specific DJ and didn't know until I showed up at my reception who was actually there.
The songs they played were perfect and really got the party going. Everyone was on the dance floor and had a great time. Our DJ knew the timeline and kept things on track with the schedule as he would announce different events.
I loved that they were affordable and local. They offer tons of different packages with lighting, photobooths, etc.
I would definitely recommend Sound Force as a DJ!
We were planning from a distance, and Sound Force did a stellar job maintaining communication with us throughout the planning process. We were able to hand pick our favorite songs ...
and add them to our playlist online, which was a wonderful feature. The DJ, Trevor, was fantastic as well, and did a wonderful job playing our favorites while being sure to fit in requests from guests. They did a wonderful job overall.
LOVED using Sound Force. I was really concerned about music choice because my event had family of all ages - I didn't want anything inappropriate. They were really great about aski...
ng me if they were unsure about playing a few songs that were requested, and I really appreciated that. They knew just what to play to get everyone dancing and having a good time, and they followed our event timeline perfectly.
We used Sound Force for our DJ that night, as well as lighting and draping throughout our venue! Everyone was very professional, yet fun! We had a good time setting up at the same ...
time as their crew was installing lights and drapes, which made the venue beautiful! We also had a blast dancing the night away with the DJ. The floor was always full! Leading up to the wedding, Sound Force was easy to contact and they have a very interactive online system for customers. You can select all your music choices, provide information about the day, etc! It was extremely helpful having this tool and being able to update it whenever we needed!
Sound force plays the best music and really gets the crowd into dance. They were so much fun and helped in setting up speakers for the ceremony. Wonderful people.
Sound Force is such a great company to work with! Our DJ was a husband and wife team. They were quick with set up and did a beautiful job. The best part was how they kept us on our...
timeline for the night without us feeling like we were being pulled around. They also do lovely monogram spotlights. Ours turned out beautifully! I could not have asked for a more professional and fun DJ! Our guests had the time of their lives. We also used Sound Force for our ceremony music. Everything was wonderful!
Sound Force did a great job. We had them do both our ceremony and reception. They sent me the copy of the songs being used for the ceremony beforehand, so I could make sure I liked...
the version they were using. They also did a fabulous job fading out songs for the ceremony. The DJ was great during the reception and payed attention to the artists we had mentioned in the meeting that we would like played. Everything went very smoothly.
We bought the ceremony package and the DIY reception package and everything went smoothly. I was a little surprised when I first sat down with the staff to discuss my music becaus...
e I assumed they'd have a suggested or standard list of music. They didn't and they seemed to think I was the unprepared one. They did a great job, just make sure if you don't know what you want to google ahead of time and have a list ready.
I got a great deal at a wedding show! The DJ, Tanner (I think), was awesome, and did everything I asked and then some. He took requests from the guests which everyone loved.
I had a fantastic wedding reception thanks to SoundForce. Working with them was very simple, and their approach was incredibly balanced. The DJ was energetic without being dominant...
of the event. One of my biggest wedding hopes was that all of my guests would have a great time, and Leasha kept them dancing all night! SoundForce was incredibly thorough and managed to keep all the events of the reception flowing on schedule- they incorporated all of my musical requests on their playlist feature. Such a stress-free part of my wedding day- I am very grateful for such a great local entertainment service.
Sound Force was AMAZING! They made planning my daughter's wedding a dream come true. From the 1st day of planning to the big event, they thought of everything! There is simply no c...

anery. Sound Force was incredible! Evan after having a family emergancy the week of the wedding, they stayed till midnight several nights hanging orbs, lights, draping for the tent. They went the extra mile for sure and were a pleasure to work with. They also lit up the path coming into the wedding and uplit several trees, which were stunning as the sun set low. We would highly reccommend Sound Force and will be using them again in the future!
Overall we had a great experience with SoundForce. They have a convenient web site for choosing song lists and working out your timeline, and my in-person consultation was great. M...
ost of our guests were up and dancing for at least part of the reception, which was what we wanted. So the mix of tunes did work out well.
My only complaints (and the reason for only 4 stars) are that the DJ did not introduce himself to me or my husband and only provided cursory attention to some of the specific timeline details we provided. For example, guests were not invited to go inside ahead of the cake cutting if they wanted to see it; not even a pause of time was given after asking if anyone wanted to offer additional toasts, making it seem prefunctory rather than inviting; and a few "must-play" songs were missing. These are very minor details, noticeable only to me. I would still recommend SoundForce, but also recommend that couples be very explicit about what they do and do not want in terms of DJ announcements.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this company. They are located in Chattanooga, but take jobs in Knoxville as well. A meeting was missed by one of their representatives. The DJ t...
hey sent was nice, but butchered many bridal party names (they weren't hard names either). I as the bride had to continually tell him to do things such as first dance, cake cutting, etc., which was really incovenient especially when he had all this information. I was very disappointed.
UPDATE: After posting my original comment I was contacted immediately to go over my disappointments. The company took full responsibility and refunded me a portion of my money.
He was awesome and even offered to stay late because we we late getting started.
Sound Force is amazing! Our DJ was fantastic, upbeat and played some awesome music. We requested progressive music, started off with old hits like Frank Sinatra and 80's fun stuff,...
then as the party wore on they eventually made their way to our favorite booty shaking hits! They can also do fabric draping and some pretty crazy lighting- I've seen it at several of my girlfriend's weddings. They are professional, fun and the best choice for a DJ in Chattanooga.
Made planning our reception and song list so easy with their online planning account. They were always available with answers to my questions and our DJ was wonderful the night of ...
the reception. So much fun!
I would do this over and over again. All of our guests had so much fun and the pictures turned out awesome!
Soundforce was great. It was virtually painless to request what we needed. You have one meeting and tell them either what you want or don't want want and they can compile it for yo...
r you can bring them a list or whatever. They are super flexible. They also go through the order of the reception or ceremony if you want and come up with a list of the order so it can run smoothly. Use Soundforce. They're great.
Really liked this company. They were really helpful in planning my reception. The DJ was very friendly & professional. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they did...
n't play a couple of songs I specifically requested. We still had an amazing time on the dance floor.
Sound Force online service made the planning process easy. They are very professional and did a wonderful job at the reception. Just make sure the DJ sticks to the timeline.
Our DJ provided great music which everyone enjoyed. They did a great job of keeping us on schedule and keeping people on the dance floor!
Prom music!
Wonderful to work with! Guests loved the reception music.. and I have had several guests ask for a copy of the music.
They were amazing! Music selection was awesome!!
Great services!! Sound Force listens to what you want and delivers!!
They were slow to return our calls and the DJ was that great. Other vendors were ~$100 cheaper so go there.

ovided a list of my likes & dislikes and they did the rest! We had such a fun time. The DJ was also an incredible emcee. Our reception was perfectly orchestrated. I couldn't have been more pleased!!
