Southcoast Winery by far exceeded our expectations. From the initial tour of the grounds with Claudia to the day of support, we cannot recommend southcoast winery enough. We had a large wedding over 180 people and the staff including our day of coordinator Alejandra, went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was seamless. In addition to the beautiful ceremony area over looking the vineyard the reception area makes you feel like you are at an Italian villa, the perfect setting for a wedding. We also appreciated that our entire wedding could stay on site if they desired, making it convenient for our guests. Our package also included two villas which provided us with more than enough space for us to enjoy the morning of, while getting ready with our wedding party. We would highly recommend getting married at Southcoast.
We got married at South Coast Winery on 11/02/24 and it was GORGEOUS! We had our ceremony at the Rose Arbor and our reception in the Courtyard. It was beautiful in every way, and we could not be happier. We had fallen in love with the Rose Arbor area during a Valentines Day getaway at the hotel and were beyond psyched to get married there!
Our main coordinator was Leann Casey, and we ADORE her! From the moment we met, we knew that we were in the best hands and that she would make sure our wedding was perfect from start to finish. She was there with us every step of the way, even after an exciting promotion meant that she wasn't as involved with weddings any longer! We are so lucky that we got the chance to meet her when we did and grateful that she stayed with us through the wedding!
Overall, all of the South Coast staff are incredibly accommodating, friendly and wonderful to have around on your special day. If you want to get hitched somewhere that is stunningly gorgeous and that will make you feel so special, look no further!
We had our dream wedding at South Coast in September this year, and could not have asked for a better experience. Claudia was our catering contact, and crushed it the whole way. Staff across the board went above and beyond without thinking twice, and we received so much positive feedback from our guests as well. The venue speaks for itself in its beauty - 10/10 would recommend. We will be back for future anniversaries!

We had the most amazing wedding at South Coast Winery! After visiting over ten venues across Southern California, we ultimately chose South Coast Winery, which shows just how selective we were. We wanted a stunning venue that was dog-friendly, offered outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, had on-site accommodations, and featured plenty of greenery. South Coast Winery checked all these boxes and was the clear winner for us.
Four months before the wedding, we had the chance to do a tasting and select the menu and wines for our guests, and we truly felt like VIPs. The food was incredible! It was a huge plus that there’s a restaurant on-site, which meant no need for a ghost kitchen or pre-cooked catering. Compared to other venues, South Coast Winery also has a reasonable food and beverage minimum (including rentals), and they even provide two suites for two nights as part of the wedding package. On the big day, everything went off without a hitch. Our South Coast coordinator, Alejandra, was fantastic and made sure everything ran smoothly. She even whisked us around in a golf cart, which saved us so much time during cocktail hour and sunset photos!
The venue itself is breathtaking at any time of day—whether it’s during the day, at golden hour, or at night with the string lights. The way the sun filters through to the courtyard is just perfect. The food tasted just as amazing as it did during the tasting, and many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Our buffet featured chicken, salmon, steak, and a prime rib upgrade. And then there were the drinks! We had an open bar, and the bartenders were fantastic. Our signature drink was a blueberry margarita, and one friend joked, “The signature drink had no business being that strong!” Let’s just say everyone had a blast—maybe a little too much!
Overall, I can’t recommend South Coast Winery enough. The venue is stunning, the staff is exceptional, the value is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

My husband and I had our wedding at South Coast on May 4th, 2024, and it was absolutely perfect. From the minute we inquired about the venue to our tasting and through our wedding day, Alejandra and Leann were so easy to communicate with and so accommodating to make sure everything was ready and executed on our big day. There were so many small touches that elevated our experience throughout the entire weekend, and we’re so grateful for these two, as well as our banquet captions who made the weekend run so smoothly. Especially being from out of state and planning the wedding from a distance, the whole process couldn’t have been easier with this team. We also want to recognize Andrew and Jessica who handled the hotel accommodations and made this part of the wedding planning easy as well. Additionally, our guests had nothing but amazing reviews for the food, staff, and beautiful resort grounds. We already can’t wait to return to South Coast for anniversary trips in the future!
We were fortunate to have our wedding last month at this beautiful venue. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing our wedding was! While searching for venues, we could not find something that had it all, but South Coast Winery did! From the beautiful scenic ceremony site, to the elegant outdoor reception area. This place had exactly what we were looking for, and more! We had the opportunity to have Claudia as our venue coordinator and she was amazing! She and my wedding planner worked so well together and executed my dream wedding! It was so beautiful that some of my guests are considering this venue for their own wedding! We recently got married at South Coast and our day was PERFECT…beyond perfect. The ceremony space and reception were gorgeous. We received so many compliments on the ambiance and the food, which is rare because it’s a gamble when venues have to make large batches of a few options. We were so happy with everything. Our coordinator, Claudia was amazing as well and I cannot recommend her enough. She really made our experience totally seamless. I highly recommend South Coast!!
At our appointment, our banquet coordinator was very friendly and helpful, however after that he was unresponsive and it was extremely hard to get ahold of anyone there. As we got closer to our date, our event was turned over to someone else, LeAnn, who was very helpful and much more responsive. Things I didn't like was they only give you 4 hours for your event, and the servers at our event were a mixed bag. Some were kind and helpful, others were very rude and just wanted to get you out of their way.

When it came to picking a venue for our local wedding reception, South Coast Winery was the perfect match for us as this is where we first met! They had multiple locations to choose from both for ceremony and reception. We loved the open space of the Bell Tower area and how there were so many different layouts you could design for your seating chart. One of the best things about South Coast was their wedding packages and how the tables, chairs, linens, food, bar, catering staff, and hotel stay were all part of the package. It really made the whole planning process easier for us to only worry about bringing in our additional vendors for specific details. The communication between Andrew, Dara, and their team was on-point throughout the planning process and with our wedding coordinator up to and especially on the day of our wedding reception. We appreciated their input, advice, and working with us to accommodate special requests we wanted to incorporate (THANK YOU!). Everything worked out seamlessly and we could not be more pleased, we are still getting compliments from our guests about how beautiful it was!
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue for our wedding - it truly felt like we were living a fairytale! Claudia and her team were extremely professional and responsive. I felt like I never had to worry about a single thing. We also got married over Halloween weekend and decided to host a Halloween costume party/wedding welcome party the evening before our wedding instead of a rehearsal dinner. Claudia was incredible in assisting me with the logistics and everything turned out exactly as we pictured it! We also had all of our wedding guests (100 people) travel to Temecula for the wedding, and Claudia was amazing in assisting us with coordinating a room block. I could not recommend South Coast Winery and their team more!
This review has been a long time coming. We were married at South Coast on 06/25/22 and there is not enough room on this review for me to truly convey how absolutely incredible this venue was to us. We had a rather large wedding with many moving parts and our venue coordinator, Claudia, made it all look easy. From our very first meeting, we knew that South Coast was our venue. We wanted to bring in a ton of vendors and had a lot of ideas, none of which made Claudia even think twice. She was so receptive, responsive and overall so good to us. Our wedding was an absolute dream and there was not one single thing that I would have changed. 6 months later and our guest still comment on what an amazing time they had at our wedding, mostly because of the venue and staff. I really could go on forever but if you are looking for a venue that is beautiful, flexible and an absolute dream from start to finish, this is it. CLAUDIA WE LOVE YOU!
If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue, this is it. We are from Arizona, but as we searched for venues at home, we weren’t loving anything, so we expanded our search to California. We got married at South Coast in May, as advised by Andrew. Our ceremony was as at the Rose Arbor and we asked him when both the arbor and vines would be most in bloom. Andrew told us May and October, and in mid May on our wedding day, it was stunning. Since we weren’t particularly concerned with when we would get married, we wanted to make sure this stunning venue would be in its full glory, and it was! Our guests could not have spoken more highly of the venue’s beauty. We toured the venue in September, and it was gorgeous as well. We went back in January for our tasting, and to no surprise, still beautiful. The food is delicious, you won’t be disappointed! We offered our guests the steak or salmon for our plated dinner. The staff the night of our wedding were incredible and attentive all night. One of the biggest and frankly most wonderful benefits of booking with South Coast is the complimentary rooms for the bride and groom the night before and night of. We were able to be in our spacious bridal & groom’s suites all day, with no concern of having to travel or transport or bridal party all over the place on the wedding day. If you just started researching venues, you may not know this, but so many venues don’t allow you in until noon at the earliest, so this was certainly the cherry on top of this perfect place. We had a small bridal party, and still with hair & makeup, we started at 9AM and never had to leave the suite. We ordered food service for breakfast and everything we ordered was delicious! We had an issue with our steamer, and housekeeping rushed one over to us to finish steaming my dress. The property is sprawling, and our ceremony and reception were on opposite ends, BUT they have complimentary shuttles to take guests to the ceremony and back for cocktail hour. The team at South Coast is so responsive, working primarily with Dara and Andrew, I had no issue reaching them and receiving a response. I look at our wedding photos and am obsessed with every view, as I knew I would be. One of the main reasons we chose South Coast was because it’s so beautiful before you even add any wedding touches. Our wedding decor and florals only enhanced the already gorgeous venue. We loved Temecula and saw many beautiful views while touring venues, but it just really doesn’t get better than South Coast. 💕
South Coast Winery from beginning to end was the perfect experience for our wedding. I'm a very type A bride who had a lot of expectation (in the best way) and the team at South Coast and the venue exceeded all of them. The attention to detail, communication, physical event space, and event team were a DREAM. I would recommend it 100 times over and would highly suggest booking your wedding here. The guests being able to stay on site to walk to the ceremony and reception is a game changer, not to mention the Spa, pool, and wine tasting that they are able to do when they stay. All of my friends and family flew in from out of town so having a wedding with all of the accommodations on site was so efficient. Numerous guests told us it was the best wedding and wedding venue they've been to.
Andrew was INCREDIBLE to work with for the year and a half I planned my wedding. We toured about 8 wineries in the Temecula Wine Country region and i'm so elated we chose South Coast. Best weekend of our lives!

She was on top of every question and request we had, and made us feel so calm on our big day. She was friendly, professional and always right by our side when we needed her. My husband and I just had our wedding at South Coast, and it was amazing!! We cannot recommend South Coast enough! All the hotel and winery staff are so nice and are always there to help and/or accommodate a guest. The catering/event team absolutely killed it with our events. We held a welcome reception, full rehearsal dinner, and the ceremony/reception day all on SCW property, and it was perfect. It is clear that the catering/event team prioritize the happiness of their wedding couples over anything and are there to help and organize throughout the entire planning process. They helped us through a covid postponement and also helped us create a super unique reception style that we and our guests loved! They are knowledgeable and so so good a putting on gorgeous events. The winery and hotel/spa grounds are beautiful and all the food/wine is so delicious! We Highly HIGHLY recommend South Coast for your wedding!
We had our wedding at the South Coast Winery a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely magical! The setting is beautiful, the food was amazing (get the Chicken!!!), and everybody loved staying on site! They were helpful and accommodating. A little advice, make sure to have your room block set for a good amount of people, or have your guests book early. They get filled up FAST! But, there are a ton of other hotels and airbnbs around.

We were originally supposed to have our wedding here in October of 2020, but due to COVID-19, we needed to reschedule. South Coast allowed us to reschedule our date out to this year, and we’re so glad that everything still went smoothly. We are so glad that we picked South Coast as our Venue. The Rose Arbor and the reception area were so beautiful and made our vision of the wedding come to life. After our wedding day, our guest kept telling us how beautiful everything was, and we couldn’t have done it without South Coast. We are so happy that you were part of the dream team!
Our wedding day could not have been more perfect!!! So glad we chose South Coast. Not only were they wonderful (and patient with me) to work with, but the day of was flawless. We used their in house planning team and day of coordinator. They were there every step of the way. I was a little nervous about not hiring a wedding planner, but they did everything I needed. The event space is stunning, the rooms are perfect and the food and wine was amazing! Our guests were raving how good their dinner was. Would absolutely recommend 1000%!!
My wedding was in August 2021. My original date was in July 2020. Throughout the coordination Claudia and Lauren were amazing. They were very accommodating and were very responsive to mine and my mother’s, MOB, excessive emails.
The venue is just beautiful. I wanted a rustic/ modern feel and South Coast was perfect for this. We decided to have our reception outdoors under the bell tower. We were concerned it might be too hot for our guests however the night was PERFECT. Ceremony started at 4 and cocktail hour started right after. The bell tower blocked the sun and gave our guests shade so the evening weather was again, perfect. I forgot to mention about the ceremony site. With having your ceremony starting around 4pm in August, you will get some shade, which is nice. We also rented umbrellas from a vendor.
The bridal suite was very nice with beautiful views. It was also conveniently located right next to the ceremony site.
South Coast Winery Resort & Spa was everything I could ask for and more. I began planning my wedding in April of 2021 and had my wedding at SCW last month- September 2021! I could not have done such quick planning and pulled it off without Claudia and Lauren who are great coordinators at SCW. The venue is beautiful and what I loved most is it is truly an 'all in one' venue. Beautiful place for the ceremony, amazingly dreamy area for the reception, beautiful and delicious restaurant for the rehearsal dinner. Friends and family continue to ask how I found this gem of a place. Highly recommend.
Hands-down, it was the best decision to have our wedding at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa!! My husband and I got engaged at the start of the pandemic and were eager to begin planning our wedding. We looked at many venues, some in-person and some virtual, and instantly fell in love with South Coast! The catering manager, Claudia, was incredible to work with! We're located in Chicago, so Claudia sent us a video walkthrough of the property since we were not able to come see it in person at that time. We were also specifically looking for a winery and resort, so our guests could stay with us on property. Claudia was so helpful in answering all of our questions thoroughly and we felt confident booking our venue - even after not seeing it in person.
When we were able to travel to see South Coast a few months later we were blown away at the property's beauty. (And also super happy that we made the right choice!) The pictures of the South Coast online don't seem to compare to just how stunning and expansive the property is.
Fast-forward a few months and our June wedding was incredibly perfect. Claudia, with her team and our wedding planner, provided the most perfect experience that we could have imagined. From the amazingly delicious food, incredible wine selection, luxurious villas, and best views we could have asked for - it was the most perfect day! I'm so happy to have shared this experience with my husband and our guests. Our guests are still raving about how perfect of a time they had and I couldn't agree more! (In fact, I really like hearing them talk about it!)
This was the second venue we looked and as far as location, convenience for your guests, and a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, and rooming options it was perfect! Not much decor was needed except for accents since we were doing a travel theme. It reminded me of a winery you would find in Tuscany. Communication was a little challenging, but I think it is because they were short-staffed and had a huge amount of wedding reschedules due to Covid. Bringing on a wedding coordinator really helped keep communication on track when it got closer to the event. All in all, it was the perfect location for our wedding and it was reasonably priced considering it was an all-inclusive venue!
You would not regret South Coast for your wedding!! We were originally at a different winery in Temecula (booked pre COVID for June 2021) and due to that venue cancelling on us, we had to find a new venue and South Coast was 10x better than our original venue! Andrew and Claudia are absolutely amazing and both so passionate about what they are doing. Claudia is so incredibly patient and so wonderful at everything she does! She answered every single one of my emails extremely fast and every "hiccup" that came up along the way in planning, her and her team were quick to correct it and make sure everything we had planned for went off perfectly. She was even able to deal with one of my hard-to-deal-with family members with so much patience. Everything was coordinated as well as it could have and the whole event went as smooth as possible. and THE FOOD. OMG we still have guests telling us that it was the best food theyve ever had at a wedding. We also had a lot of family stay the whole weekend and we all loved staying at the resort and not having to leave for the whole weekend! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND and wish we could do it all over again!
**also, i never looked at south coast the first time around venue hunting due to the $$$ (higher than most venues I was looking at) and had seen that the $$ went as high as $50,000, so didnt want to look and fall in love with something that much. But we found that once we looked at it, the price was right on par and even less than the other wineries we were looking at
We worked with Andrew and Claudia for our wedding. We loved the open atmosphere of the venue they had to offer and how beautiful their rose arbor was for the ceremony. On top of that the price was reasonable for what they offered. We were glad that they provided the chairs, tables, linen, glassware, bar, dance floor, set up and tear down, etc all in their package. They put the event together to a T and are very particular with the details. I was really thrilled that since it was so hot they were able to get air conditioned shuttles to take our guests from the ceremony to the reception which was a nice touch. They are very receptive and did an amazing job pulling off our wedding while being very understaffed and fully booked at the winery during our wedding weekend. They gave bride and grooms rooms for us to get ready and stay in which is amazing- no one wants to worry about getting home after the wedding and having the ability to reserve a room block for guests takes a lot of stress out of planning. Their rooms are really charming and they pulled out all the stops for me as the bride. We had a gorgeous two room bridal suite (we did upgrade and pay extra for this but it was absolutely worth it to have the extra space especially with photographers and people coming in and out of the rooms all day) with plenty of room for our hair and makeup ladies and they sent us champagne, strawberries for our wedding night. Their rooms have huge jacuzzi baths and walk in showers. It made it really special. Their recommended vendors were amazing and the food at our wedding was nothing short of spectacular! Everyone raved about the food and the menu they put together for our tasting was unique while still being classy. I think the food at the wedding tasted even better than the food at the tasting which I couldn’t believe. They put together a gorgeous buffet for us and we were so delighted with everything they did to make our day special. I could not be happier with how our wedding went thanks to all of the amazing people at South Coast. I can’t wait to go back for years to come to celebrate our anniversaries!
We had our wedding there beginning of December and it was awesome! The whole process went smoothly from beginning to end. They're easy to get a hold of, answer any and every question, have great input and really just help as much as they can.
It's also a very nice winery for a wedding. We originally wanted to have it outside, due to rain we had to move it inside but it still came out perfect.

South Coast Winery is not only a stunning venue, but the wedding packages they offer make it so easy to plan your dream wedding, in such a beautiful location. All our guests traveled from out of town and enjoyed the excellent accommodations South Coast Resort has to offer (tasting room, spa, pool, restaurant, fitness facility ect). We held our welcome reception along with our wedding ceremony and reception all at South Coast and everything was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this venue! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at South Coast Winery in August 2019 and could not have asked for a better venue! We actually booked our wedding with the winery based purely on reviews and word of mouth; we did not even see the venue until two months before the wedding! Everything from the vineyard views, ceremony and reception sites (the rose arbor is gorgeous!) to the hotel rooms, event staff, food and WINE was amazing. The villa that is included with the wedding package is fantastic and HUGE – we had so much room for getting ready and the room was right next to the ceremony site which meant the wedding party did not have to travel far! Christine was our wedding coordinator and she was INCREDIBLE. She is so friendly, flexible, professional, knowledgeable and detail-oriented that I honestly don’t know how I would have pulled off our wedding without her. She is super responsive to questions and was so sweet when I would bombard her with emails on a near-daily basis! I was actually calm the morning of our wedding because I knew Christine and the South Coast team had everything under control. If you are looking for an unforgettable winery venue in SoCal with an A+ wedding team, look no further than South Coast Winery – you will not be disappointed!
South Coast Winery was the perfect setting for our wedding! Not only is it majestic with the sprawling vineyard views, but the wedding planning team is amazing. I worked with Claudia and Christine and they were both so professional, yet flexible and kind.
I honestly thought South Coast would be way out of our price range, but its actually extremely reasonable compared to other wineries in the area (or anywhere in Southern California).
Claudia and Christine worked with us to customize our day to our exact vision. It came out better than either of us could have ever imagined. From the first day of touring the venue, to support all night the day of the wedding; I can't recommend South Coast Winery more! It's the perfect place to get married.
Christine was amazing to work with! I cannot even tell you how much she put my nerves and crazy bride brain to ease when it came to all the details of our wedding. She was the BEST and I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work with her and her team! Our wedding was gorgeous and the whole process was seamless thanks to Christine!
So incredibly beautiful! We got married here march 30th and it was practically perfect. The day itself went so incredibly smoothly I'm still in awe! Our ceremony was at the rose arbor- our florist did have to add some flowers to the arbor itself because it hasn't quite bloomed yet, so keep that in mind if you have an early spring wedding. I agree from other reviewers that there seems to be a disconnect between the events team and the rest of the hotel- communication dealing with both can be difficult. Andrew in the catering office was super helpful, as was our coordinator christine. Communication was tough there as well, but I think my sister and I were a little more detail oriented than they were used to! A few bumps along the road, but the day itself was so wonderful it was all worth it! The food was phenomenal, the service on the day was amazing. Everyone said how beautiful and fun our wedding was- and the venue had a huge say in that! Oh and brides- do yourself a favor and go to the spa- it's incredible, and I started my day off with a massage. Such a nice treat!
We loved having our wedding at South Coast Winery! We had our very large wedding there in February and we had the most wonderful experience. First and foremost, working with Andrew, the in-house catering manager and wedding coordinator, was nothing short of phenomenal. He was always immediately responsive and always came up with solutions for what we needed (and we needed a lot give the size of the wedding and the fact that it was a wedding weekend rather than a single day event). He doesn’t forget small details of what was discussed and executes the wedding perfectly. On top of being great at the mechanics of his job, he is always pleasant and relaxed while going about it. We loved working with him and in addition to the beautiful location, Andrew and his team were the best thing about the South Coast. Further, the food tastes great. We were worried about it being standard (mediocre) wedding food, but selected the South Coast based on the beautiful location anyway. Boy were we wrong about the food. The food is delicious and the portions were enormous - we felt great about the meal we provided to our guests. The location is also absolutely stunning. Even in winter there were colorful flowers and greenery everywhere, and the grape vines were also so beautiful without leaves. We really had the perfect wedding at South Coast and can’t recommend it highly enough. The only thing we would have changed was to be able to get a block of rooms at a set rate for our wedding guests since it was a destination wedding for us. There seems to be a disconnect between the hotel reservations side and the event side, and that made it a little more difficult for our guests. But regardless of that, we had the most wonderful wedding and highly recommend South Coast Winery.
Within 5 minutes of walking onto South Coast Winery Resort and meeting Andrew, Kevin and I knew we had found the venue we were looking for. To begin, the venue itself is gorgeous. We had our ceremony overlook vineyards at the Rose Arbor followed by our reception in the Courtyard. Our coordinators Christine & Andrew were amazing and ensured our day was everything we hoped for it to be and more. Super friendly and quick to help, they made the whole planning experience perfect. I have heard countless times now after our wedding from our guests that our wedding was the most beautiful they have attended. If you are thinking of booking here, you will not regret it. The vendors listed by the venue are remarkable as well.
This venue is really amazing. They offered a lot of different packages to fit our want and needs for our wedding. The had a lot of package perks that made things easy and stress free. Dara our coordinator was always available to us and was always in constant contact with our planner. I never had to find her when I needed her and it just made the day that much more stress free. The day of staff was attentive and so helpful. We love South Coast!
Oh my, where do I begin? South Coast Winery was actually the first venue my husband and I ever looked at and we just knew it was the one. Not only is this location so beautiful with so many gorgeous views, it was really the team of people we trusted with our special day! Christine Tortorici & Andrew Vasquez are hands down the best wedding planners and coordinators that ever existed! They have been with us every step of the way since the first day we walked into their office up until even after our wedding! They are very responsive and quick to get answers about any questions you may have, which makes your wedding planning process so much easier. They are also extremely helpful with every little wedding detail that you want and need, and they do their very best to make it happen for you! I mean, what kind of bride doesn't want that? They not only make things happen for you, they are super kind, caring, and friendly while doing it too. I honestly could not have had the most perfect wedding without them! They really put their heart and soul into your big day like it was their own! Let's just say, I was not stressed on my wedding day. I enjoyed every single moment of it! I am SO thankful for them and lucky to now have them as lifetime friends! Love them so much!
Made my dream come true
We can't say enough good things about how South Coast Winery staff assisted us in creating a very special rehearsal dinner for our son and his sweet wife. From the moment we walked in and Andrew showed us the veranda, we knew that this was the venue for us. Then Christine assisted in making everything magical. We chose the taco bar and included a 2 hour hosted bar. Everyone was wowed by the food. It was delicious. The ambiance created by the staff was nothing less than magical. The bar tenders, the servers, the food captain, Meyta...all were exceptional. We would highly recommend using South Coast for any event. Can't say enough good things! It was fantastic.

Our wedding here was beautiful. Our event coordinator was new so there were a few issues and misunderstandings on the day of, but overall our guests were happy. I would have another event here, but I would be sure to stay on top of everything beforehand and make sure everything that's important to me is very clear.
South Coast is such a beautiful and relaxing place. It really has a romantic ambiance in the air. All of their locations within the winery have beautiful views and great for photos. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! Everyone from the event coordinator, catering manager, and housekeeping is absolutely wonderful! The Villas are so spacious, and very tidy. We had our reception in the barrel room with cocktail hour prior, just right outside in the courtyard. Making an entry into cocktail hour there is perfect, you have you're own staircase to come down from, it works perfectly. We were very pleased with every single aspect of our wedding there.
south coast winery is beautiful. we had the ceremony at the rose arbor, the cocktail hour on the back veranda, and the reception in the gold room. all of it was wonderful. they have great staff working to meet your every need. the scenery is vines, grapes, and flowers so the pictures are amazing. I do not have one complaint about South Coast and do not regret for a second my decision (yes, it was mine as my fiancé wanted to get married at the beach) to have my wedding at South coast winery resort and spa.
When looking for a wedding venue we had many things to consider. I wanted a place that was natural, beautiful and not mainstream. I did not want a ball room or a typical ceremony site. Also our families would all be traveling to our wedding so we needed a place for everyone to stay. When we took a tour of South Coast we immediately knew it was going to be the place for us! I fell in love with the Rose Arbor as a ceremony site and the Gold room for our reception and the villas were so beautiful, I knew our friends and family would love being able to stay in them! Paula and Christina were so extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They put up with all my requests, changes and constant phone calls and emails but not once did they seem annoyed or frustrated with me! Our wedding day could not have been more perfect. From waking up in the suite and seeing hot air balloons to our ceremony in the Rose Arbor and reception in the Gold room! The food was amazing, and everything turned out perfect! All the staff was professional, helpful and truly made my wedding magical and the best day of my life! I am so happy we chose South Coast as our venue!
I had my wedding at south coast winery July 21, 2012. It was absolutely beautiful and my dream wedding. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Both Vanessa and Amber were amazing.
We held our wedding ceremony (reception was elsewhere) at South Coast Winery on a Wednesday in June and everything was absolutely perfect. We booked the Rose Arbor over the phone because we live in WI and did not see it in person until a few weeks later. The pictures definitely do the venue justice. Amber Joy Day was always accessible to ask questions and calm my nerves. If she was not around at that moment, there was always someone to help me with my needs. One of the reasons we chose this venue was due to everything that was included (chairs, tables w/linens, sound system w/an AV guy, water station, large umbrellas and day of coordinator). I was running late to the rehearsal and they assured me that it was not a big deal and take my time. My day of coordinator was Vanessa and she was on every little detail. She kept us organized and made it look easy. Overall, the location, service and value were all top notch and made our day spectacular. Thank you South Coast!
We celebrated our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Vineyard Rose Restaurant. The service was terrific and the food was excellent. The Vineyard Rose is a beautiful setting and it provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The local wines were a wonderful addition to the fine meal and service. All of the members of the party raved about the quality of the food and the beauty of the setting.

South Coast was an amazing venue, the Rose Arbor is a beautiful place to marry and the courtyard was perfect even for our smaller than average group. The co-ordinators were great and everything went perfectly, they listened to all my requests, and everything flowed well throughout the event. A Perfect Day
My wedding at South Coast was absolutley perfect, but this was mostly due to the effort put into it by my amazing wedding planner. South Coast itself is GORGEOUS with an incredible ceremony spot. We had the ceremony at the Rose Arbor, cocktails and dinner in the courtyard, and dancing in the barrel room. The bones and soul of South Coast are perfect and definitely provide the framework for a beautiful wedding, but the staff in the events office is very difficult to work with. It was hard to get a hold of them, they had problems answering questions, and it just seemed that they were not used to planning events of this size/scope. If you're willing to work extra hard, its a beautiful location for a wedding. If you want amazing service you might want to keep looking.
This was a great "all in one" venue. The villas are amazing and a great get-a-way. The food was awesome and very professionaly served. I was very happy with their organization and their wedding coordinator made the day go very smoothly.
I love South Coast Winery... We got married at Keyways Winery about 5 minutes away. It's more privite and fit us better as far as the ceremony, but they are only a winery and no rooms. I was so happy they were so close to South Coast (and so were my guests). The rooms are huge, gorgous and so comfortable. Each room has a spa tub and double headed showers. I stayed there with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and I was so relaxed! and the wedding night we came back to roseses sprinkled on the bed and bottle of wine. It was perfect!
I recieve great service, the food was wonderful and my guest had a great time! They did however forget somethings and took criticism very well for future changes! Definte recommend!
I have to say that i was not sure what to expect since I have never been married and I am the first of friends to have a semi-formal wedding. Amber the sales manager and my day of coordinator were great. My wedding flowed with no problems and we had a memorable and wonderful time. I love that their packages include the butler passed champagne during the cocktail hour and a villa for the night before and night of.
Great food, wonderful service. Was on the patio, and it was wonderful. Very pretty, were accomodating, and it was a wonderful experience. Would recommend a rehearsal lunch or dinner here anytime. Expensive, but great.
