Katie, Karin and Casey are a fantastic team. I planned my wedding from the other side of the country and was having a lot of anxiety about it - but Southern Belle Events helped make the process so much more enjoyable and less stressful. I hired Katie as a month-of planner, so she took care of coordinating vendors a month out - but made herself available to answer all of my questions and offered SO much guidance from the beginning. They come with a ton of great recommendations as well. Katie worked with all of my vendors to come up with a schedule for the day and kept everyone to it without coming off as rude or overbearing. She is kind and efficient. When it came to my wedding day, we dealt with a bit of bad weather, and Karin re-did no less than 3 times to make sure it was still perfect throughout the night, and held my dress as we walked through rain to the venue. I seriously don’t know what I would have done without them there. Wedding planning is hard. Don’t try to do it alone. Southern Belle Events is a shining example of professionalism, efficiency and knowledge of the industry. Take the stress off and hire them!

Katie was AMAZING! I have zero complaints. I had originally planned an outside ceremony, but that quickly changed when it started pouring. I was devastated because I was stuck on having my ceremony outside. Well.. seeing how upset I was Katie worked so hard to make my ceremony BEAUTIFUL. I can’t thank her enough for the amount work she put into my wedding day. I highly recommend Southern Belle to anyone looking to hire a wedding or party planner!

I cannot recommend Katie and Karin enough!! Having a wedding planner was a must have for our wedding elopement, since we are not from NOLA, nor do we live close. Katie is amazing to work with – you will have her email and phone number and she never let me down with response times. She would always respond promptly, or she would have an automatic email response stating when she would be back to checking emails. Katie was beyond helpful in the planning of the wedding – she gave tons of ideas, offered advice, timelines, and TONS of vendor recommendations. I knew hiring these two was the right call, but I really really knew that on the day of. My answer to EVERY question from family about timeline/what happened next was “I don’t know, I’m not in charge” – I gave them Katie’s number and she was able to field all questions. Of course, there was a pre-planned and discussed timeline that we came up with together and I did know the answers, but I didn’t want to worry about the time or what else was going on, just wanted to enjoy the day as it unfolded. I did not have to deal with a single vendor call or question on the wedding day – no worrying that something didn’t get delivered or taken care of. If something did go wrong, I have no clue about it to this day. Hiring these ladies will not be a mistake – you will be able to say “I’m not in charge, ask Katie” if you do – which was the BEST feeling. Thank you so much Katie and Karin for the most perfect day! A day full of only happy tears and no stress.

Katie and Karin were the most amazing wedding planners we could have asked for!! My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of town, and Katie and Karin were fantastic with working via zoom and phone calls and staying on top of all the details. They offered vendor recommendations and reviewed all of the contracts. Most importantly, they coordinated with all the vendors during the month of and they made sure our our rehearsal and wedding day ran seamlessly. We even had a minor medical emergency that they handled with the utmost care and professionalism. All of my family said how amazing they were. Cannot recommend them enough!

OMG I will tear up writing this because we owe our entire wedding to Katie and Karin. We had to reschedule our wedding 4 times (yes, you read that right) and Katie and Karin were on top of it and SO helpful. Seriously this review doesn't even scratch the surface of how amazing they are. They are responsive and professional but also super fun and relatable. The kind of girls you want to be friends with long after the wedding has passed. STOP looking for another wedding planner and call them right this second. You will be so glad that you did! Our wedding would not have happened without them! 100+++ stars!!

An amazing team! Southern Belle Events were the event coordinators for my Sprinkle just this past weekend and It was wonderful. Katie worked alongside my sister and close friend to put together a beautiful and relaxing shower to get me ready for my second little one. She checked in with me when she needed and coordinated everything from the food,desserts, set up and all I had to do is show up. Everyone had a wonderful time and no one was running around like crazy setting up or cleaning up as Katie took care of everything. I would absolutely recommend Southern Belle Events for any event big or small. If you want to enjoy yourself as well as have your friends and family get to enjoy your event...do yourself a favor and hire Southern Belle Events!!!

Katie and Karin are absolutely amazing! My husband and I live in NY, but got married in NOLA. Planning a wedding 1400 miles away was effortless because of these wonderful ladies. After just 5 minutes of meeting them I knew I needed them. They are so kind and helpful and I had absolutely no worries the days leading up to my wedding. The day of they went above and beyond what I had expected. My husband and I were able to dance the night away with our family and friends because Katie and Karin took care of every single detail. I felt in such good hands! The day of our wedding, they were so professional, but kept the mood light and fun. The Southern Belle Events team of Bridget and Katie were amazing in genuine and intentional professionalism! I was thrilled that my daughter and her fiancé chose New Orleans for their wedding city as I am from the area and was married there. We live in Dallas, TX so most all guest were from out of state. Long distance communication was never a problem. Bridget was extremely helpful with vendor suggestions that would capture the charm of New Orleans! She was prompt in answering any questions and offered suggestions as to make sure that the focus of making Kate and Bailey feel special and celebrated was achieved throughout! As the mother of the bride, I am amazed and grateful that Bridget and Katie took total charge of the wedding day with patience and kindness for all! I appreciate the attention to each detail and the efficiency of keeping a great timeline for the evening to go smoothly. I enjoyed every moment of planning my daughter's wedding and Southern Belle Events played a big part of the success; achieving the goal of honoring and celebrating Kate and Bailey's new beginning in marriage.

Katie and Karen were truly amazing!!! We hired Southern Belle to be our month of wedding coordinators and it was honestly the best decision we have made!! Being the control freak I am, I wanted my mom and I to take care of everything on our own. But, since we are not from New Orleans, we knew this might not be possible. After first meeting with Katie, I knew immediately she was the perfect person to keep our fun, crazy, and large group in line. I did not have to worry about one single thing come the week of my wedding. Everything went completely as planned and went as smooth as I have ever seen a wedding go!! Karen even went as far as to run down to the CVS and get me flipflops when I didn't think my shoes could make it for the ceremony and second line! I would recommend using them for your wedding 100%!! thank you girls so much for everything you did to make my wedding the most perfect weekend EVER!!

Amazing! Simply the best and we couldn't be happier with their results! We found Katie and Karin of Southern Belle Events on the Knot after going through a few other vendors, and what really impressed us at first was the easy to see menu of options and clear pricing they offered, most other vendors were not as clear. Meeting them for the first time at a coffee shop we knew 5 minutes in that they were the ones to hire, and they would be our most important vendor we chose. They were friendly, allowed customization, and knew how to answer all our questions. We loved how we could throw any question or concern to them throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding and they responded with detail and great feedback. They mapped out everything for us, worked closely with our vendors and made it all seamless and effortless for us, which was huge. They worked so hard for us and it shows, they put us at ease and took care of everything behind the scenes. On the actual day of the event we were so nervous about seeing the venue, making sure all our vendors (decorations, DJ, furniture, venue, florist, catering, etc.) had been set up just the way we wanted it to be, and it was beyond our expectations! They did such an amazing job coordinating the vendors to our exact specification. They did an even better job coordinating the actual event, making sure we were in the right place at the right time, all while making sure we were having the time of our lives (which of course we were!). Katie and Karin make a great team, and out of everyone we worked with for our wedding they were the absolute reason our event was such a success. We couldn't be happier with their service and would highly highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the New Orleans area!

We just had one of the most amazing times in our lives! Katie and Karin did everything to make sure our wedding day went as planned. Making sure everyone was on time (including myself and my husband) was probably the most important thingthat stood out. We have been to plenty of weddings that never seem to start on time. That was huge for us. They were both very friendly and easy to communicate with. We were from California so it was important to be able to get a hold of them easily. They went above and beyond with taking care of little details that we didn’t or couldn’t even think of with everything going on. They helped my daughter prepare a speech for us last minute (she is 8), because she really wanted to say something special to us in front of everyone. Very very sweet. Like I said, above and beyond!! Bridget was so awesome and professional to work with! Even after we booked all of our vendors, she called them to discuss/follow up the week of the wedding. She even reached out to our police detail the day before so they knew exactly where/when/timing for our transportation. They are great at remembering all of the small details that a bride might forget to keep track of. I don't know what we would have done without Bridget and her team- they made our wedding day flow so smoothly!! My fiance' and I knew we didn't have to worry about anything, because they would take care of everything!

We hired Katie as our month-of wedding coordinator and she went truly went above and beyond from start to finish! We planned our New Orleans wedding from out of town and even though her services weren't to officially start until the month before our wedding, she was there to offer guidance and help with any questions we had long before then. She was super helpful when it got down to putting the schedule together for the day of the wedding. And the vendor arrivals and set-up went off without a hitch as far as I know! She did everything she could to ensure that our wedding day was stress-free, and her assistant Karin was also on hand to help coordinate the family photos, etc. while Katie handled the set-up. We are so happy we made the decision to hire such a pro who had our back every step of the way!

My wedding would not have been POSSIBLE without Karin!!! I thought all along wedding planners were only for the brides who did not like planning, keeping track of vendors/ contracts or being involved in every aspect of their wedding. I realized how incredibly wrong I was when I realized I wouldn't be able to be in 5 places at once the day of my wedding! This is when Karin came in to save the day! Truly consider the benefit of their month of/day of services so you can truly sit back and ENJOY every minute of your wedding! We already had a really great idea of everything we needed/wanted and Karin was amazing at picking up our loose ends and helping us with things we had not even thought of. I cannot recommend Southern Belle Events enough!!!! Hire them and then sit back, relax and CELEBRATE!

Katie and Karin made every part of our wedding go smoothly! During the planning they were organized and great at communicating. We hired them kind of late in the planning process and immediately knew it was an awesome decision. On the day of the wedding they were professional but also felt like they had been my friends for years. They took care of any problems that came up and kept everything rolling. Okay, truly, I don't even know where to begin. Katie and Karen are LIFE.
I was really on the fence about spending money for planners because I'm already such a planner that I didn't know if I'd really need it. But there's two reason I decided to go ahead and do it: (1) I live in Texas. (2) As I was reading the contracts from my vendors, there were a lot of clauses about having certain tasks completed that I was like, "There's no way I'm going to do that." For example, staying behind to make sure the space was left in acceptable condition. My mother-in-law graciously gifted us with the funds we needed to get the planners, and WHO KNEW I LITERALLY CHOSE THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD?!
My husband and I were making a pit stop in New Orleans, as we usually do, on our way to Florida every summer, and Katie set up a meeting time for us while we were in town. From the very start, I knew they'd be perfect. For starters, they're hilarious. But more so, they're highly relatable and highly on top of their sh**.
Every stone was turned and if I didn't know the answer, they guided me right to it. They helped me think of things I wouldn't have otherwise, and absolutely took care of EVERYTHING for us on the day of the wedding and before.
Katie's sweet husband came to the hotel before the wedding to pick up some chalkboard signs I created and any extra things that needed to be delivered to the sites two days prior. Then on top of THAT, being from out of town and all of our guests being from out of town, we didn't really have a designated person to pick up all our extra stuff AFTER the wedding, so Katie graciously offered to take it with her then she dropped it back off at my hotel the next morning. Like, seriously.. who does that?! She and Karen (and Katie's husband! So sweet!) totally just went the extra mile for EVERYTHING.
My MOH, who is heavily involved in the wedding industry and encounters countless planners, even told them, "Y'all are like THE BEST planners I've ever seen." This was as Katie whipped out our marriage license and pulled the officiant, MOH and Best Man aside to get business out of the way so we could PARTYYY!
At one point in the getting ready process, Katie came to check on us girls and she goes, "Okay, how is everyone doing?? What can I do for y'all?" And we were all just chilling and smiled and told her we were good. To which she responded, "OKAY.. what's going on here? I've never seen a more calm group of girls before the wedding..." Little did she know, she and Karen were a HUGE reason for the calm.
Seriously, if you are like me and are on the fence, GET ON OVER THAT FENCE AND GO WITH SOUTHERN BELLE. This post is HARDLY justice for my love for Katie and Karen.
(P.S. They'll whip your groom's friends into shape then become their best friends! LOL.)

Wow, where do I start?!! My husband and I got married last Saturday and one of the best decisions we made was hiring Southern Belle Events. My best advice to future brides- do not get married without Katie and Karin by your side! They made the whole experience for me, my husband, our wedding party, and families completely stress free. They had everything under control and I was able to relax the entire day and enjoy myself. I had 1 issue with my cake vendor and Katie and Karin took care of it so quickly, I hardly noticed the issue. They made sure all the vendors were there on time and the venue was set up exactly how we wanted it. They also kept us on time (including our groomsmen and my groom- thank you Katie and Karin for keeping up with these party animals and making sure they were on time ;-)
At the end of the night when we returned to our hotel room, everything was there waiting for us. It was so nice that we were able to leave the venue, enjoy our second line, then go out after without having to worry about getting back to the venue to pick up all of our belongings. The day was completely magical and perfect thanks to Southern Belle Events! I couldn't recommend them enough! Thank you so much for everything Katie and Karin! <3

Booking Southern Belle was the hands-down best decision we made for the wedding. Katie and Karin made sure everything ran smoothly, kept us informed about everything we needed to know while handling the little things themselves (making everything as stress-free as possible), and calmed me down like professional negotiators when I had a slight meltdown on the morning-of LOL. We were all very impressed by how they maintained complete professionalism while showing so much patience and wonderful senses of humor (it IS New Orleans... don't most groomsmen miss the rehearsal because they lost their wallets and phone on Bourbon?). I can't say enough to express my gratitude to these wonderful ladies for everything they did for us. I highly recommend them to everyone getting married in the NOLA area, especially if you are slightly neurotic like me :)

Thank GOD for these girls!!! I had the pleasure of working with Katie and Karin and let me tell you they are amazing. They were there to make sure I had the best day ever and guess what.... I did!!! I would recommend them to any girl who is thinking about hiring the extra help because you are gonna need it. These girls are IT! They were there to help me make decisions that were taking me months to think about. Katie and Karin would point out things that I didn't even think about such as where to have a first look and where why it should be there. I just thought we could walk out and see each other! No that was not the case we were able to make it a very special moment and I am so happy that we did it. Katie and Karin also helped me stay on time with everything and not miss a beat. I was able to mingle with all my friends and family as well as grab some food and enjoy it . My husband and I got married got married a week ago and it was amazing. We hired Katie and Karin a few months before. It was the best decision I have ever made. Our April wedding at City Park was perfect and we owe a great deal of that to Bridget and her team! Bridget was there with us every step of the way in designing and directing our big wedding day. My wedding went so smoothly, I did not stress out once. Thank you Katie! I got married in mid-June, and it was't until early May that I realized I did not have it together and I needed help. I spoke with a couple of wedding planners in the area. They were "nice" and very "polite", but they didn't give me that feeling of "it's going to be ok, I got you" feeling. I spoke with Katie and instantly felt like my wedding was going to be ok. She asked me what I needed, what had I not done yet, and even gave me advice before I hired her! Katie was so helpful and made things happen. Towards the end of the wedding planning, I lost steamed and she was there to pick it up and keep me going! If you're looking for a wedding planner that is a mover and shaker, she's the one!

My husband and I got married 2 weeks ago and it was an absolute dream. We hired Bridget as a 6 week out planner and on-the-day coordinator. It was the best decision we made. Bridget made it so we didn't have to worry about a thing on our special day. We almost chose not to have a wedding planner and what a mistake that would have been. She was incredibly responsive and always one step ahead. People were surprised at how much time we got to spend with everyone and we can attribute that to her organization and willingness to go above and beyond. I had the pleasure of having Bridget as my day of wedding coordinator. She was amazing, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to relax and enjoy their wedding day! We got married at Race and Religious which comes along with having multiple different vendors (I was also living in Canada during my wedding planning) Bridget made sure everything went smoothly and our wedding came together better than imagined. We had a tight timeline for set up, Bridget and her assistant made it look easy!

Bridget was so helpful during this whole experience. I did some of the work before hiring Bridget, but she jumped in and made things much easier from then on. About half-way through, I admitted I wasn't happy with our chosen venue, and Bridget helped us pick a new venue 6 months out from our wedding. She recommended several vendors for us, most of which were exactly what we were looking for. I wouldn't have found my florist or photographer without her suggestions. They were the two people who made me most excited about the details of our day. She was very calm and organized. She was patient with me when I was in contact with some vendors and organizing some parts (hair, makeup, transportation) and forgot to give her the names and schedules for those things. The only thing that was a little challenging toward the end was some delayed communication. I had a timeline in my head of that day, and she had her own timeline based on having done this so many times. It wasn't until 2 days before the wedding that we were able to sit down and compare timelines. Part of that was conflicts of schedules, but it would have been easier for me to coordinate with some of the people on my side if I had an idea a little earlier. Despite this, there weren't any major issues with the event or anything that day. I read in several reviews that Bridget is the kind of coordinator who keeps you from realizing if something went wrong. If something did go wrong on our day, I had no idea about it. Our entire experience with her was a positive one. She definitely helped make the wedding a smooth process.

Our wedding was wonderful and that is a big thanks to Bridget! She was very easy going and I really enjoyed working with her. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, or at least I as the bride was unaware of any issues. I was able to enjoy our wedding and focus on what truly mattered and making memories with our friends and family, because I knew Bridget had everything under control. She was fantastic. When we decided to have a destination wedding in NOLA we knew it wouldn't be easy. We knew what we wanted but also knew that planning a wedding from NJ would be a challenge. We are so thankful that we found Bridget and Southern Belle Events!!!
Most reviews will tell you how easy the planner made it but with Bridget you get that aspect but also an individual who truly cares about the couple as if they were family. Bridget spent so much time helping us plan our multiple trips to New Orleans making sure that we saw every venue, caterer and vendor we could have imagined. She was there to help us when we had questions, when we needed the right push and when we needed that 'extra crazy wedding indecision' time and throughout it all she was professional, thoughtful and kind.
Our wedding was amazing...it was everything we dreamed and we owe it all to Southern Belle Events. When our wedding was over Bridget made sure that everything was set for our return home... she even went as far as to package stuff up for us.
In all the wedding revelry not a moment passed where we didn't see Bridget staying dedicated to the success of our big day and we will always be eternally grateful.
Bridget has become family to us and we are sad not to have our weekly chats and updates but we can't wait to see her again when we visit NOLA!!

We hired Bridget to plan our very small and intimate destination wedding in June. It was truly an amazing day and couldn't have been done without Bridget. She had great recommendations and connections are far as vendors go. She planned a day for us to do cake and dinner menu tasting, visit our venue, and she also took me to my hair and makeup trial and waited a long 2 hours or so in order to give me a ride back to our hotel since we were from out of town. What a trooper! Our families LOVED our wedding, especially the second line, and talked about it for months afterward. A huge burden was taken off me on our wedding day since I did not need to worry about who was supposed to be where and when, she took care of our belongings as we went from the pharmacy museum to our reception venue, and she was very pleasant with our family and friends. You won't go wrong with Bridget, she knows her stuff for sure. With us being out of town, we did almost all communication via email. I know it was a busy time for Bridget but it was sometimes a long wait to get a reply from her. That being said, the wedding turned out to be just what I pictured and I truly do appreciate everything she did for us.

I was an out of town bride from New Jersey. I was lucky enough to come across Southern Bell Event planning. Bridget, the owner, was absolutely amazing. I was extremely indecisive throughout all of my wedding planning, and she was so accommodating to everything I asked. She's was so organized, which was great because I'm not, and professional. My husband and I had gone to New Orleans a few months prior to the wedding and Bridget took us everywhere, and was happy to do so. She checked up on us throughout the whole planning process. She scheduled meetings for when we were able to make it to New Orleans and went on her own when we couldn't. We flew in a week prior to our wedding, and Bridget took us on all of our last minute errands. We had a dessert table at the reception and I completely forgot to get a small cake. Of course we realized the night before, but at that point there wasn't much we could do about it. When we got to the reception, there was a perfect cake already out- Bridget, at some point, went to get it that day. I was so taken aback by it and so grateful. Her and her assistant spent almost the entire day of with us (to make sure everything was running smoothly, and that all the vendors were on time) she somehow managed to find the time to order the cake, pick it up, drop it off, without even telling me! The wedding day ran so smoothly, I couldn't have asked for a better event planner. I would recommend Bridget a thousand times. She is truly a wonderful person and she runs an even better company!

As the Mother of the Bride, I was finding it very stressful to plan a wedding in New Orleans, Louisiana; when I live in Houston, Texas and the Bride and Groom live in England. After navigating the basic contracts I knew I had hit my limit and would require a wedding coordinator. I looked on this website and chose Bridget. I get teary eyed just thinking of how she stepped right in and made us feel as if we were her only client. My daughter, D'Yon also felt very comfortable with Bridget. I don't normally 'ring my own bell' but we had a PERFECT WEDDING! People are still talking about how fun it was. Neither my daughter or I had to worry about anything prior to or during the event. I would highly recommend Southern Belle Events.

I hired Bridget for my destination wedding in New Orleans. Let me just say that planning a destination wedding is hard! I really enjoyed working with Bridget, and she was truly dedicated to planning my wedding at all stages of the event. She planned a full day for me and my now husband to attend a cake and menu tasting as well as a venue walk through that she attend with us. Bridget really did a great job to find vendors that were great match for us! It was tough because I wanted to have a say and really researched a lot of vendors on my own as well. Bridget also invested so much of her evenings meeting with me on the phone. I am a very meticulous person, and wanted to approve everything for my wedding. I hired Bridget after we had picked our venues (The Pharmacy Museum (ceremony) and The Jaxson (reception)). We had a great Reverend,photographer, and band thanks to Bridget. Everything turned out so beautiful! I think the florist could have been prepared more, but that had nothing to do with Bridget. There are only very minor things that I feel could have been done differently. Two days before the wedding I met with Bridget to review that everything was ready. The night of the wedding, there was some confusion about the get away car, and Bridget had to pay out of pocket at a rate that was 2x what we had been quoted during our wedding reception. I am not sure how this was not paid for and taken care of prior to our wedding day but it slipped through the cracks. Bridget did a great deal to make sure I had no idea of this incident and even paid 1/2 of the cost of her own money. I think it was a little frustrating for us both, but she handled it so calmly and sweet. We also were told that the Pharmacy Museum staff would be handing out drinks after our wedding. Bridget ordered all of the cocktail and water supplies for me that I requested. I later found out that guest were running behind the counters to step in as bar tenders, and many guest did not have drinks. Bridget had 2 helpers the day of our wedding and they also did such a great job helping out. Our Second Line was about 10 minutes late, but they made up for it and every one had a great time. Bridget and her workers packed all of my supplies and things and returned them to me so promptly. We had a few guest that left cell phones and Bridget collected things for them. I had a great time working with Bridget. She did everything she could to make my day perfect. We did have different styles, but she was great at keeping me calm and helping me plan my wedding. All of our guest had such a great time! We were lucky to have such a great team of people and I would highly recommend Bridget! Bridget is very understanding and calm and will plan anyone the perfect day!

Bridget was an absolutely fabulous wedding coordinator. She was exactly what I needed during the wedding day and leading up to the big day. She was organized leading up to the event and handled my family, friends, bands, 2nd line, photographers and the venue coordinators perfectly. She completely took the stress away from me during the day so I could enjoy myself while ensuring the the timetable proceeded as I had planned. She handled set up and take down and ensured all scheduling details went smoothly. Bridget was essential to my day especially because we are not from New Orleans. I could not recommend her more.

Our oldest daughter got married two weeks ago in New Orleans. Wedding was at Immaculate Conception and reception at JW Marriott. We hired Bridget back in November to be the day of coordinator. From the moment we met with her, I felt a load taken off my shoulder. She knows her stuff! We met with her a couple more times and she was fabulous. The week of the wedding she contacted all the vendors. On the day of the wedding, it gave us so much piece of mind to know she was handling everything! I even gave her things ahead of time for her to bring to the church and reception. She always smiles and she does whatever needs to be done to ensure things go as they should. Best compliment? We are using her again in February for second daughter.

After getting engaged, I shopped around quite a bit for a wedding planner. We were not sure if we wanted day of coordination or the full package. Bridget was so quick to respond when I reached out to her about her services. After our first conversation on the phone, I knew she would be perfect! We ended up hiring her for the full service plan and I am so glad we did. From the very beginning, Bridget was so organized and on top of everything, and she was so helpful in putting together a timeline right away. Planning a wedding felt so overwhelming at first, but Bridget immediately put my mind at ease. She contacted all of the vendors and even handled most of the communication with them. As the bride, all I had to do was tell her how I envisioned my wedding and she took care of the rest! Up until the moment I walked down the aisle, Bridget was working hard to make sure every detail was taken care of and that I was happy. She made me feel pampered all throughout the day, even at the reception- which is how every bride should feel on her wedding day! I really cannot rave about Bridget enough. I cannot imagine my wedding without her. It made such a difference to have a wedding planner who is not only well organized and great at what she does, but also has such a vibrant and bubbly personality. She was amazing to work with every step of the way. Bridget helped to make my wedding beautiful, joyous, and everything I dreamed it would be. She is worth every penny! Bridget is a wonderful wedding planner! She planned my daughter's wedding to perfection. She was a joy to work with and was kind, friendly and very professional. She always maintained great communication with all the vendors and kept my daughter and I informed about every detail. Bridget and her assistant handled everything the day of the wedding. When my Groom & I decided to pick a date I knew that I needed/wanted Bridgette to be part of that day. She is organized, friendly, professional, and has the best personality!! I being a professional in the Catering field knew I would be possessive and controlling but with Bridgette I was not. She had a proactive plan, timeline, contacted all my vendors 2 weeks prior, made sure all my decor was to my liking and so much more. Thank god for Bridget! We were waffling on the idea of a wedding coordinator when Southern Belle Events happened in to our lives. I remember looking over the pricing for her packages and thinking “we are wasting money if we DON’T do this!!” We used Bridget as the day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She met with us a few times and even went to a tasting at our venue with us, and was also available via email or phone with any concerns or needs that we had.
The week of the wedding we got together with Bridget and went over our wedding day. She had every vendor confirmed and ready to go, a detailed timeline for everything to run smoothly, and asked every question we wouldn’t have thought of while answering any question that we had. She very patiently went through the entire timeline with us moment by moment, looked at all the decorations we had to set up, discussed minutia with us and then said “now forget about all of this, because I’ve got it handled,” and she totally did.
On the day of our wedding I didn’t see Bridget until I got to the church, and every single thing ran smoothly and without incident. Every person was in place, every moment of the ceremony went perfectly, and I didn’t hear about any kinks until long after the day was over (not that any of them were even a big deal!) When we got to the reception I was astounded. Every vendor had been directed exactly, the decorations that Bridget had overseen were outstanding, and again the night went perfectly. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured, just safe and calm in Bridget’s hands. We had dreamed of having beignets brought the short distance to our reception venue, and just as my husband started to stress about the logistics of that Bridget appeared and said, “the beignets are here.” She saw our every need before we did, and even packed everything up for us to be sent home.
I truly cannot even imagine what we would have done without her. Bridget and Southern Belle Events was definitely the glue that held everything together. Our wedding went flawlessly, and I attribute that to Bridget and her team. Thank god she happened in to our lives at the perfect moment and made our special moment perfect!

On the day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about anything. Bridget is able to work independently with vendors to achieve the results that you want for your wedding. Hiring Bridget was quite honestly the best decision we made for our wedding. We purchased her day of package which is actually quite more than that. She contacted all our of vendors to make sure everyone had a good timeline, met with us twice before the wedding to make sure we had a good timeline, and really was just a great sounding board and source of great advice. My wedding day went flawlessly thanks to Bridget. She displayed our decorations flawlessly, made sure everyone was where they needed to be and made sure everything stayed on track. She and her assistant even made sure I always had either a water or a glass of wine in hand. Bridget was kind and professional in a very real way and my advice is to look no further- hire her now before she is booked up!

Bridget of Southern Belle Events LLC, without a doubt, made my daughter's wedding day a beautifully stress-free day that I was able to enjoy completely without worry! We contracted with Bridget to be our "day-of coordinator" about 10 weeks before the wedding and after speaking with her only a few times, I realized that we had made a terrific decision not only to have a day-of coordinator, but to have chosen to work specifically with her. Bridget was very professional as well as thoroughly knowledgeable in the planning and execution of the very important wedding timeline. The week of the wedding when everything speeds up and anxiety mounts, I was able to step back and let Bridget do her work. By the wedding day I did not have to give a second thought to the bridal party being on schedule. She worked beautifully with our other vendors such as photographer and limousine service. Because her duties are behind-the-scenes, the entire event seemed to flow seamlessly. She dealt with everything from proper placement of things at the church, made certain favors and other extras were correctly placed at the reception venue, and ensured that horrible traffic in the French Quarter did not delay the limos! Bridget is friendly and personal while maintaining her professionalism. I would obviously recommend Southern Belle Events and Bridget to anyone. I only wish we had hired her sooner!

My husband and I were both incredibly busy during the months leading up to our wedding and Bridget proved a pivotal and wonderful asset every step of the way. I didn't have to worry about making countless calls or spending time researching ideas. I was able to simply tell her my vision and Bridget made it a reality. She used her own personal items to enhance the look of our reception and even tried on bridesmaid dresses when mine couldn't be there. She was always easy to get in touch with and always kept us up to date with helpful timelines and reminders. She also has a wonderful sense of humor that helped us so much when stress would creep up.
