Laura B was my planner. Man was she amazing. She dealt with my constant emails and texts! I was all over my wedding planning but she really help piece things together. Her response time was epic anytime I needed her. Day of the wedding she was so attentive to us and got everything setup ever so perfect! She also was good about keeping us on time and making sure people didn’t get in our way so to speak! My day literally wouldn’t have been the same without her!

Is saddens me to write this, but we did not have a good experience with Becca from Southern Sky’s Events. Ultimately, Becca seemed extremely overwhelmed with the process of our larger wedding. And even though I paid extra for her to have a day of assistant, by all our vendors accounts, the assistant did not actually assist anyone. I never saw her myself. After our event, I had several vendors reach out saying they were disappointed in our wedding coordinator and felt she was completely lost/overwhelmed during the day. This was unsolicited feedback. One of my vendors even wanted to charge us more due to the lack of coordination, due to the extra work it put on them. When our wedding concluded, me and my now husband had no idea where our weddings gifts went (we had to frantically hunt them down the next day) and an entire rented table/tablecloth set-up with cans and drinks was left outside the venue. We ended up having to go back to our venue the next day to cleanup and personally had to return the table and tablecloth rental she left out. We also had no idea where our wedding cake went, along with left over desserts, and other various items. SO many things just fell through the cracks. In a nutshell, it was a mess and she was completely overwhelmed. From all accounts, our vendors found her to be unhelpful and had to work around her. It’s important to note she also never replied to my last text asking if she knew where our wedding cake was. It wasn’t a rude text, I had been very gracious throughout the process… she just decided not to reply. Days later we were personally able to hunt down our cake, along with our gifts and other items. It was very stressful. There were just so many things. Too many to put into this review. Overall we were very disappointed. If you have anything other than a very cookie cutter wedding with a venue that has its own on-site coordinator, I would absolutely not recommend using Becca with Southern Skies.

Hiring Jen and her team was probably the best decision we made regarding our wedding. Not only did she help us keep on top of everything during the planning process (which included a lot more than we had expected), but she was super fun to work with. I was able to enjoy the process a lot more knowing what I needed to work on and what needed done in the next month. Jen helped handle all the little hiccups along the way and day of, Jen and Lauren kept everything running smoothly. Both sets of parents were saying how great they were following the big day. I would highly recommend hiring Southern Skies as wedding planners.

I do not have enough kind words to express the professionalism and literally white glove service that my fiancé and I received from Jen and her assistant, Brandi. Jen, single handedly made us look so good...my guests have not stopped talking about the stellar job they did coordinating our wedding. Now on every anniversary, I will be giving them thanks because they made my wedding so memorable. Don't think twice, if you want your wedding to be everything...book with Southern Skies Events!

Jen is simply the best! Her professionalism and knowledge are truly unmatched. She helped us with every aspect of our planning and if I felt stuck, she offered ideas and options that were personalized and fit our vision. I was calm and confident on our wedding day, because I knew Jen had made sure it was perfect! We loved working with her so much that, I recommended her to my best friend and she worked her magic again!
