ollow up. We had a difficult venue, with specific requirements and Southern Sounds met every need. They provided outstanding pre-wedding planning advice and were a pleasure to work with. The DJ was highly skilled and clearly an expert in how to set up the speakers and sound equipment. Additionally the music mixes were perfect and left everyone commenting on how great our wedding was. We would HIGHLY recommend working with Southern Sounds and plan to use them again when we need a skilled DJ for music and lighting as well as for our great many anniversary parties! would do a great job. We were very disappointed!!! We were asked to pick songs that we wanted to play and that is fine because it was our day anyway, but that took time. At our wedding on October 22, 2016. My husband had to tell the Dj everything to do. ( we had times written out for certain things) ex: we wanted to be introduced into the reception at 56 seconds, that didn't happen. The Dj acted like he didn't care and that it was his very first wedding. He didn't get the wedding party excited and tried to end the music an hour early! My mom had to go to the ATM and pay him extra time to play. It wasn't extra time, the Dj tried to say that the speeches counted for the time the music could have been played. My husband and I as well as my mom were under the impression that this company was professional. Not at all! Why should the bride and groom and mother of the bride have to worry about these things during our wedding, that we took so much time to make sure it was perfectly done. A HUGE disappointment!

e knew wouldn't happened. Tori stayed in communication with us and offered us a beautiful chandelier and string lighting to go under our tent and pushed the pink uplighting under the houses. It was absolutely gorgeous and my wedding guest still rave about how beautiful it was. Only thing is I wanted blue and pink uplighting and only got the pink, which turned out great. We wanted to go with their DJ packages since we heard how great they were but the prices were a bit steep and went with other options. You will not be disappointed with their lighting and customer service.

l weeks before my event, I met with a coordinator at the company who asked a ton of questions about my husband and me (what we do, how we met, what we do in our free time, what kind of music we like, who will be at the wedding, etc.). She found out what kind of "vibe" we were going for. They also have pretty extensive paperwork you fill out to make sure you get exactly what you want. They played great music and were really responsive to the mood of the crowd, which I liked. We seemed to have the same goal: keep people partying. It was great!

Not only were my guests talking about my awesome photograhper but once they knew there was going to be a DJ they all put their dancing shoes on. Our DJ service was a huge hit. We actually had them stay an hour later, we had such an amazing time. Love Southern Sounds. Great service, and great people.
