They did a great job day of, but communication was lacking in some aspects. Especially in the week leading up to our wedding. Every time we tried to schedule a call to confirm the transportation rounds, they had either left early or were not answering. Once we got ahold of them and everything the day of went smoothly.

We used Spare Wheels 38-person coach bus for our wedding day! We used it as transportation for the bridal party and then later on for our guests to-and-from the hotel. The driver was great! We provided a timeline to them and he stuck with it all day and night! Great price point and a great product! Would recommend to all brides for whatever transportation needs you may have on your wedding day - they will take good care of you!

Cannot say enough great things about working with Spare Wheels! Our biggest concern was making sure our guests had a ride home at the end of our wedding as it was hosted at our family farm, which with dark country roads at night and drinking, not a good idea. We reached out and Katelyn at Spare Wheels was so calm and accommodating to our schedule. Even with having two hotel stops and working with our driveway, the team was on time and even went into the hotels to make sure guests were aware that the bus was leaving. They even stayed a little later to make sure that the last of the guests made it home. Mark, our driver, was a saint for putting up with our rowdier guests at the end of the night and we so appreciate it!! Thanks again and hope to work together again.

We booked Spare Wheels Transportation for our 1st wedding anniversary party after a referral by the Courtyard Marriott St. Charles. I worked with Katelyn S. to book our 39 passenger coach bus for the event. She was awesome to work with and we communicated through email and over the phone. Everything ran smoothly the day of the party, and our shuttle driver Mark C. was accommodating as the final shuttle departed a little later due to clean up after the event. Would definitely recommend Spare Wheels Transportation for any private event needs!

Would recommend this shuttle company for sure. They were flexible with changes in our guest counts and schedule. The driver went out of his way to make sure everyone was where they needed to be. Customer service was always wonderful to work with during the planning/payment process. The shuttle was also really nice itself and very clean.

We had a great Time coordinating with spare wheels. They were responsive to questions - we had on time shuttles and we were able to get everyone back to their hotel safely. The driver was really kind as well.

Spare Wheels was amazing to work with! We had them provide shuttle service to our guests between the hotel and the ceremony/reception venue. The planning was super easy, just one phone call to discuss hours, schedule, etc. and one more call to confirm right before the wedding. Spare Wheels did a great job of communicating with the staff at our Wedding hotel and venue to make sure they were all aligned on the pickup and drop off. Before the driver left with the last pickup from the venue, he came to check with us that everyone was on board and no one was being left behind. We highly recommend Spare Wheels to anyone looking for wedding transportation. They are reliable and professional and helped take the stress out of our big day!

Spare wheels provided transportation for our Wedding in October 2020 at Heritage Prarie Farm. They were on time, efficient, and friendly. They were also very flexible when we had to decrease our wedding from 250 to 50 due to COVID. Great value and great customer service! I would book them again in a heartbeat.

Even with a much smaller guest count than originally planned, we knew it was even more important that our guests could unwind and not worry about getting home from our wedding. When our plans had to change significantly because of the pandemic, Spare Wheels made it easy for us to change the hotel locations and quickly turned around new quotes, and expected pick up and drop off times. The shuttle was clean and the driver was very professional. They even added special touches like a congratulations sign!

I got married in October 2018 & the day of service was good. However, we had a prior wedding major hiccup with lack of professionalism... The week of the wedding, I accidentally forgot to send my updated hotel information over. It was changed from Hampton Inn Yorkville to Holiday Inn Oswego (the next town over). When changing the address we discovered they originally had the address wrong for Hampton Inn North Aurora. Which I suppose I missed in small print on pre-invoice. However, I told them Yorkville & I am getting married in Yorkville. So I don't know how North Aurora got into the equation. (It's really far away for a wedding night hotel - wouldn't even make sense) So I believe someone accidentally put wrong Hampton Inn... & I didn't notice, and neither did I. So I am at fault. So when it went terribly wrong is that, they charged us an additional additional $75 because we updated our hotel & it was out of their zone. Keep in mind this only added a few more minutes & miles onto their trip. They explained to me those extra minutes were to cover the drivers extra time to get to the location. But it was really only approx. 15 minutes? I mean $75 that's a stretch if you ask me! So would people 1.5 hour away still get charged the same $75? We truly were on the out skirts of their zone, however we were misinformed from the beginning. It only got worse, when I confronted them about the charge & not being happy that they initially messed up the address & I had to essentially pay for it. NOT TO MENTION: I met them at a wedding show in Yorkville, IL & when I specific asked if there would be any additional travel charges they said NO. And when I brought that up to the woman in their office, she got defensive & pretty much told me I was lying. The main reason I was so terribly dissatisfied was that the phone call I had with them trying to resolve the issue was TERRIBLY handled. At the end of the day, I wasn't asking them to remove the $75 charge. I was pretty much saying could we split the difference & I can pay half. Maybe I made the mistake of not catching their mistake of putting the wrong address? However, I was explicitly told there was no additional charges to Yorkville (my venue & hotel) because they go there all the time... Looking back if they would have just charged me the $37.50 instead $75 I honestly would have been THRILLED & they would have gotten 5-stars all around. Companies & myself make mistakes... However, they way they handled it was awful. The customer is not always right, however a little goes a long way when you try compromise with customer. And there was NONE of that. At the end of the day, the week of my wedding telling me I owe an extra $75 onto an already terribly expensive bill of $800 a couple hours of transportation... It is a lot to a bride who is already financially stretched so thin. Was $37.50 really worth such an unhappy outcome? Ashley Anderson 10.19.2018

Did a good job accommodating our guests from the our venue to the after party. It made one trip back to the hotel with guests and on the second trip the bus broke down. Not only did our guests sit on the bus for 15-30 minutes waiting for another bus. The other bus never showed up and my parents had to leave their out of town guests to be the transportation service for people so that our out of town guests didn’t have to pay for an Uber. Spare wheels was highly recommended to us but after this situation I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Spare Wheels was so great to work with and an extremely affordable option with great quality drivers! We used Spare Wheels for both a shuttle for my bridal party and shuttles for my guests from two hotels and they were so easy to work with. I'd highly recommend using Spare Wheels for your transportation needs :)

We chose Spare Wheels because of the thorough research we did on all shuttles and our vendors' recommendations and we are so glad we chose them! From the get go, the drivers were very friendly. The company itself did all they could to accommodate us and to us felt like they went above and beyond for all of guests, the bridal party, and us. They even remembered something very small we left behind and were able to return it to us the next day. The shuttles were clean and spacious.

They were so incredibly helpful! We had a few guests straggling behind at the end of the night, and they went by to pick them up after the contract time. It was a huge help!

The driver kept dropping guests off where my bride and I were taking pictures... after multiple attempts to tell him not to and to drop them off in the parking lot at the venue. It made for awkward encounters with the guests before the ceremony even started. It should be a no brainer to not drop off guests where the brides are..

Spare Wheels bus for us was on time and very courteous - the only thing was that the air did not work and it was July 28th. It was blowing, but not cool at all. We couldn't wait to get off the bus. Very nice people though!

Working with Spare Wheels was super easy! I had searched many many companies because we chose to get married 45 minutes from our home, and then had a 3 hour "in between" time so the wedding party could take pictures after the ceremony. Spare Wheels was great that we could stop the clock once, and we had no issues with addresses, directions, on-time, missing details, bus changes, bad driver, etc. Everything was perfect! I was able to come see the selections for buses, I could drop of the drinks the week of so I didn't have to worry about dragging it on day of, and I received everything as promised for much cheaper than other companies. Overall, we would choose Spare Wheels again and were very pleased with the service!!

Working with Spare Wheels on our wedding day transportation was smooth and easy. Very fairly priced. I was able to get a general idea of what our pick-up/drop-off times would realistically be when I called to put down the initial deposit and had a follow up call a few months later to nail everything down and pay our balance. They made it simple and hassle-free, which I appreciated as a busy bride with a full time job and lots of other commitments. The bus was on time picking up for the ceremony (as far as I know) and the driver graciously waited at the end of the night as bride and groom got held up saying goodbyes and thank yous before making his last departure. Would definitely recommend!

Don't let the name deter you. The service and transportation that Spare Wheels Transportation provided was great. As our wedding was held on a private farm, the driver made it a point to show up a couple days before to understand exactly where they would be dropping off and picking up guests so as to avoid any confusion on our wedding day. I was initially a little worried that the bus would arrive on time, however they were early to pick us up from from the ceremony and proceeded to hit every time check the rest of the night. The driver was especially friendly too and went above what I would have expected for service. Booking Spare Wheels was definitely a great decision and one I would not hesitate to make again.

We rented the party bus and a shuttle for our wedding. I worked with DJ who made the process absolutely amazing. And thank you Jackie for everything as well!! The day was perfect!!! I have not one single complaint. I loved it all!!!

Spare Wheels Transportation were on time and completely worth the cost of service!

We used their party bus for the entire bridal party and their guests for transportation to the church, pictures and to the reception. We had plenty of room and were able to play music through our iphones for the ride. We also brought coolers with drinks. My dress had a full skirt so it made it convenient for getting around everywhere without having to squeeze into a row of chairs since the inside was like a limo. They arrived on time at my parents home to transport the myself(bride) and the bridesmaids and they had room to hang all of our dresses and veil in the bus so we didn't get them wrinkled before changing at the church. We ran 30 minutes over our scheduled time which they just added on to my bill and did not make any hassles the day of which was great as I already knew we were a bit behind.

We used Spare Wheels for our guest transportation to and from the ceremony, as well as for a limo bus for the wedding party. We used two school buses and the limo bus, and every driver was great! They were timely, affordable, and very polite. I highly recommend this company - it was also great to be able to get all of the transportation vehicles we needed from one company!

Everyone at Spare Wheels was so helpful and kind! The communication leading up to our wedding was outstanding and the service the day of was above and beyond!! Our driver offered to make two separate runs for us during photos and the ceremony when he heard we had forgotten things. The limo bus was clean and comfortable and just what we were promised. Great company!

We rented the limo bus for the day. We were very prompt and we were very impressed with how much space was inside the bus. Our driver was very friendly and knew his was around town well.

The driver was great and they were pretty good value, but she took a wrong street which made us a little late for the reception. Would request a GPS included in your package if you decide to use.

We decided to have bus transportation to and from the hotel. They were the only company that was willing to not charge us for the hours during the wedding when people were not using the transportation. They had a minimum of 3 hours. We ended up doing 1.5 hours before and 1.5 hours after the wedding. When making the decision for the hours we told them the number of people that we had and the hours of the wedding and they made great suggestions. We also made sure that if we had more guests at the end of the night needing a ride that they would come back and pick them up, they indicated that they always make sure to do this and if we went over at the end of the night they would let us know the charges.

We got a mini bus. It was clean, a smooth ride & perfect for us! We had it as transport for the girls from the house to the church, the boys from mom's house to the church, the bridal party from the church to the reception. Then, we had a large bus as a shuttle from the hall to the hotel all for less than $500!! courteous drivers & i just realized i forgot to tip! I'll be mailing that in soon. Oops!

This limo bus comes stocked with everything you would find in a normal limo-except you get a bathroom and lots of headroom. Friends of mine who had been married before me were telling me that they wished they had gotten this bus. You do provide you own food and drink but that was no problem since we needed to get it transported to the hotel anyway. Right on time and our driver was great! We had so much fun on it I can't wait for an excuse to come along for me to rent it again. I thought the prices were a little high so I opted to not have it for more than 4 hours. You should def. check it out and the staff is very friendly. They called me a few days before the wedding to confirm everything and if I wanted to add or subtract places it was no problem. Loved my limo bus!

This was a perfect service for getting our guests to and from the ceremony to the reception as well as the reception back to the hotel.

Okay so we had a bridal party of about 18 people total and we really struggled with who to use for transportation. Limo services to us were RIDICULOUS with their minimums and rates per hours for what we needed. Then, we found out about Spare Wheels on the Knot's website. They're priced VERY reasonably and they are extremely easy to work with. Driver was on time, fun to work with, etc. The bus itself was clean inside and out and looked very nice. So glad I went with them!

Our shuttle/bus drivers were wonderful! They were on time and alway helpful to our guests. We even asked them to stay longer. The service was awesome. The shuttles were decorated and very clean. The company had put the name of our wedding on the outside of the bus. We had 2 buses so the cost was a bit higher but I thought they were still the cheapest around

Spare Wheels was great at getting our guests from the hotels to the venue, as the venue was about 20 minutes away. The scheduling part was a little difficult because of this, but they were accommodating to our needs and great with our guests.
