out 140 people at a local restaurant. Hiring an event coordinator was one of my more stressful decisions during the wedding planning process. As a very hands on, DIY bride, I had my vision and materials ready, but I needed someone to roll up their sleeves and help with the physical set-up and take-down on my wedding day as well as the usual vendor coordination and day-of support. During my initial consults, I was shocked how many coordinators I spoke to that only handled vendor coordination and very-light hands on set-up, relying heavily on the other hired vendors. My issue was that I, the bride, was the primary vendor - I handled all decor, florals, linens, lounge furniture (including driving the box truck to drop it all off) myself and I needed someone to step in my shoes and get my venue ready while my now-husband and I, as well as our families, concentrated on our big day. My initial consult with Alejandro was a breath of fresh air - he was not only professional and could clearly express his value based on previous experience but he also understood my vision and was happy to be there to make it happen. His rates, including the add-ons I selected were reasonable. We met with Alejandro exactly one month before our wedding to show him the venue and go over our plans. Alejandro was able to provide constructive feedback on how to make the event flow smoothly and negotiate some additional requests with the venue. Alejandro stepped in to have the hard conversations and fight the battles I didn't have the mental energy for! We were able to communicate the entire month before the wedding through email, text, and shared documents online. He was in contact with all of our vendors before the big day to help make sure everything was clear and on-track. The day of my wedding went EXACTLY as planned and much of that is thanks to Alejandro and Mariella. They finished getting the venue ready while I was getting my hair and makeup done - and our communication through that process was minimal - allowing me to relax and enjoy the day. Alejandro is great at understanding the overarching vision and making the executive decisions necessary to guard the couple's sanity on such a chaotic day. Throughout the ceremony and reception, Alejandro was somehow no-where and everywhere all at once. He helped bustle my dress, grab me water if I needed it, address any concerns (like asking the band to turn the music down a bit), making sure food service ran smoothly and that we stayed on schedule. He was engaged with so many of the attendees throughout the night. It wasn't until the next day and almost a week later that I started to hear my guests share their positive experiences with Alejandro - supporting situations I was completely shielded from. I had multiple attendees ask for Alejandro's information so they could check his availability for upcoming events and happy to know I'll get to see him again at our friends' wedding in July! I know this is a long-winded review but this is the type of information I would have appreciated when I was searching - so good luck to you future brides and/or grooms, and if all else fails - hire Sparkle Events!

someone on the day of the event keeping the trains running. Alejandro is a true professional that was several steps ahead of me the whole day. He set up the tables and decor, pre-empted problems, called vendors before hand; during the reception he ran the schedule flawlessly, and came running with club soda when I spilled on my dress. Post wedding he and his team tore everything down and packed it away, it was the smoothest transition I could have asked for. He was charming and the guests loved him. 10/10 would hire again (but hopefully I won't have another wedding haha)

ppreciated. On the day of, Cassie was our coordinator and she did a great job getting everything set up under a relatively tight timeline for our 11am ceremony. I am so glad we had Cassie there so that I did not have to worry about any set up issues while I was getting ready and doing photos - she did a great job making sure everything was in the right place and coordinating with our venue team. Pricing was very reasonable and absolutely worth it so that my husband and I could enjoy our big day.

we were like nah, we don’t need a planner we got this. And we did! The problem came when the execution of the wedding itself came into play. Who would cue the entrance, who would manage the vendors, who would guide the guest transitions, who would check the audio, who would make sure the cake topper made it to the cake, who would make sure our card box got back to us safe and sound? After seeing Alejandro in action it’s truly terrifying to think that we were even considering not having a same day coordinator. And let me tell you … we picked the best of the best! I mean, seriously go to this guy’s reviews and IG photos. It’s obvious we are not the only ones who share our love of this man and his wedding coordination/planning skills. He was organized, positive, fun (!), and very obviously knew what he was doing. Alejandro and Sparkle Events felt like a friend or a family member who cared as much as we did about having the best wedding ever. Sometimes we’d be like … let’s do this! And he’d be like, I like that but here are some things to think about based on what I’ve seen. (SO HELPFUL!) He’d listen to our ideas and always try to make it work. He made our day so special. We couldn’t have done it without him. Five stars. A+. If you are considering another wedding planner or same day wedding coordinator your search is over. Alejandro wins everything. Hire him. You won’t regret it!

He met with us a month beforehand at our venue to review everything, and gave us ideas for our floorplan and timeline. On our wedding day, he was there bright and early to finish setting up. He kept us on track for the wedding and even brought us food and drinks during our pictures (which was awesome). Alejandro took care of handling our caterer, which we found out afterwards was late. From the second I met Alejandro, I knew he was good at his job. He is very confident in what he does, but also takes the bride and groom's opinions and desires into consideration. He is always a text, phone call, or email away and answers promptly. We had him at our rehearsal and he ran the show and nobody in my bridal party felt like they didn't know what they were doing. They asked questions and helped me with things I hadn't even thought about! Alejandro knew I was nervous about the rehearsal going smoothly the night before, so he came to run the entire rehearsal as well. On the day of our wedding, Alejandro and Justin took care of EVERYTHING! They ran the chapel setup and entire ceremony, coordinated the timing of the day/night's events, made our centerpieces look better than I imagined, and solved a seating issue (a mistake made by the reception venue) without us even knowing there was a problem. I didn't have to worry about anything except getting married and enjoying the event we worked so hard to plan. I had an incredible day, and I have Alejandro and Justin to thank! I couldn't imagine the wedding day without them, and all of my friends will certainly be hiring them for their weddings.

t replace him until 10 days before my wedding. Dealing with the owner of the club was a nightmare. Enter Alejandro. He made sure everything ran so smoothly. Every person I spoke with, including all of my other vendors, had fantastic things to say about Alejandro. He was there to do a prewedding walkthrough two weeks prior. He was constantly available via email and text. I just cannot say enough about him! We truly would not have had such a successful wedding without him.
