SPC Wedding & Event Mgt

Ruth from SPC Wedding and Event Mgt was very sweet, welcoming, and genuine in her approach to pre-event and event day management. I appreciated her quick responses via text/email and that she took over contacting and organizing vendors in the weeks before the big day. She was very helpful in organizing and managing the wedding rehearsal and it helped the ceremony go smoothly! She helped clean up at the conclusion of the evening and was very helpful in packing up all of our belongings, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, I do have some negatives from the experience. Ruth arrived late to the venue. Granted, there was rain, which I understand, but she arrived when the guests arrived and I felt things were not going very smoothly. I had made it a point to let her know when I hired her that the photography portion was important to me and that I wanted her help in making sure I got all of the photos I wanted. With all of the excitement of the day we definitely didn't have clear heads to remember every single type of picture we wanted and with which people. After the wedding, I realized I had no photos with a big portion of my family, no photos with just my mother or just my father, etc. I felt let down in that aspect of the day, which was one of the most important things to me.

Ruth with SPC was a pleasure to work with. My fiancée and I hired her for DOC services, but she provided so much more. We met with Ruth three times in the months before our wedding, twice virtually and once at the venue. We also called and texted her regularly for advice. She was very patient with us as we explained all the nuances of a traditional Jewish wedding. In the end, she developed a detailed wedding schedule, complete with Hebrew terms and definitions. On the day of the wedding, Ruth arranged a rehearsal to prepare us for the ceremony. She insisted that everyone participate, including our families, the bridal party, our photographer, and our rabbi, which made a huge difference. Her enthusiasm was infectious and my parents fell in love with her. When a vendor mishap occurred during our reception, Ruth coordinated with the other vendors to keep everything on schedule. She also kept us well fed (and quenched) throughout the night. Thanks to Ruth’s hard work, my fiancée and I were able to enjoy our big day to the fullest!

Ruth was SO helpful throughout the entire planning process. She knows exactly what she’s doing and that’s why she’s so good at her job! We could not have gotten through the day without the structure she provided. All of the vendors were coordinated and on time, and everything went perfectly. Thank you, Ruth!! If anyone is looking for a day of coordinator or even more, Ruth is an amazing choice.

Ruth was a lifesaver for our wedding! We had to book on extremely short notice due to another vendor not getting back to us. We were floored by her amazing decor and dedication! Everything was perfect!
