eeks before the big day. She was very helpful in organizing and managing the wedding rehearsal and it helped the ceremony go smoothly!
She helped clean up at the conclusion of the evening and was very helpful in packing up all of our belongings, which was much appreciated.
Unfortunately, I do have some negatives from the experience. Ruth arrived late to the venue. Granted, there was rain, which I understand, but she arrived when the guests arrived and I felt things were not going very smoothly.
I had made it a point to let her know when I hired her that the photography portion was important to me and that I wanted her help in making sure I got all of the photos I wanted. With all of the excitement of the day we definitely didn't have clear heads to remember every single type of picture we wanted and with which people. After the wedding, I realized I had no photos with a big portion of my family, no photos with just my mother or just my father, etc. I felt let down in that aspect of the day, which was one of the most important things to me.

The concluding part of your feedback clearly shows your dissatisfaction with the performance of your photographer and not your planner.
We did our best to coordinate all logistics with your vendors, Our timeline also clearly outlined an hour, dedicated for pictures during cocktail which was assigned to your hired photographer.
Ruth with SPC was a pleasure to work with. My fiancée and I hired her for DOC services, but she provided so much more. We met with Ruth three times in the months before our wedding, twice virtually and once at the venue. We also called and t...
exted her regularly for advice. She was very patient with us as we explained all the nuances of a traditional Jewish wedding. In the end, she developed a detailed wedding schedule, complete with Hebrew terms and definitions.
On the day of the wedding, Ruth arranged a rehearsal to prepare us for the ceremony. She insisted that everyone participate, including our families, the bridal party, our photographer, and our rabbi, which made a huge difference. Her enthusiasm was infectious and my parents fell in love with her. When a vendor mishap occurred during our reception, Ruth coordinated with the other vendors to keep everything on schedule. She also kept us well fed (and quenched) throughout the night. Thanks to Ruth’s hard work, my fiancée and I were able to enjoy our big day to the fullest!
