Bob was great to work with. He was very professional and responsive. He helped adjust our order when our rental needs changed. We used special events of New England to rent the glassware and silverware for our wedding at Birch Hill Farm in NH in June 2021. Our rental arrived days before the event (which was very comforting) and was ready for our bartenders and catering to set up with ease. We rented charivari chairs from Special Events of New England. They were great to work with, they took care of coordinating with the venue and it was a very smooth process.

After postponing my large wedding ceremony/reception, I began searching for a tent rental for my smaller ceremony. Special Events was quick to respond to my inquiry, and took the time to talk with me about my options (something other local companies did not do). After receiving quotes from multiple rental services in the area Special Events was by far the most affordable. Tent delivery went smoothy, they arrived on time, and were very professional. I would highly recommend Special Events for rentals.

Specials Events was a much better deal than Lakes Region Tent & Event, with equivalent service.

Amazing company to use for rentals!! I was able to get my tent (with siding and lights) tables, chairs, tablecloths, heater and coffee urn from them (they offer much more than that but that's all I needed). they came a few days before the wedding, set up the tent with the lights/siding and had everything placed in the tent for us ready to be set up. well worth every penny!

Bob was fantastic to work with and very organized. He was able to update the layout and rental options for us when we’d have new ideas. The crew that set up and picked up everything was very friendly and professional.

Bob at SENE was amazing. He helped me and my wedding planner Lisa Pavlopoulos from start to finish with getting the tent, tables, chairs, linens, and even the port o potties. It was a perfect experience. We even had to swap out one of the port o potties, but that was done in a timely manor . I highly recommend SENE for your wedding rentals! My tent was magical with beautiful lights strung up that dimmed as needed so made the evening perfect at the end of the wedding. I had a storybook wedding with their tent!

We booked Special Events of New England for our wedding which was held in my grandmother's back yard. Naturally, this means we needed a full tent, tables, chairs, kitchen equipment for the caterer; basically, we had to rent everything you would see in a restaurant. SENE was so helpful from start to finish with all the pieces we needed. Chris came out to do our site visit and was the most patient person I've ever met. I'm not exaggerating when I say that he walked the size of the tent 6 different times, in 6 different spots until I finally settled on where it should go. He was so kind and event went so far as to pull a second set of measuring tapes out so I can see the two different tent options on top of each other. Bob was amazing help at adjusting my rental order as needed and helping me with linen sizes and answering all my set up questions and electrical needs. He was super responsive and even went so far as to recommend a different dance floor color once he got to know my style. It was definitely a better choice than the original one I had picked out! The tent delivery and install was stress free with their amazing team. Chris again was on site and super patient, as I was making minor adjustments to where the tent was being placed that day. I really can't say enough wonderful things about them. I would highly recommend their service to anyone!

Our caterer recommended Special Events for the linen rentals for our wedding. We couldn’t be happier! Everything was great, our order was accurate, and the delivery was on time. We would be happy to work with them again.

We used special events of NE for our catering rentals for our wedding in September. They were extremely reasonable in pricing, and were very easy to deal with, very prompt in replying to emails. The items were delivered neat and packaged up when we were told they would be, and picked up promptly. I would definitely recommend Special Events of NE for anyone who needs a reliable place to get rentals for their special event!

This company was awesome. They were thorough in all explanations, in person and on the phone. They arrived when they said they would for set up and take down. They went above and beyond on everything (tent, tables, chairs, linens, fans, and more)! Will use them again for all my party needs!!

We had a small wedding in October 2017 of only 50 guests. Despite being such a small event, Special Events of New England still made us feel important. They were extremely easy to communicate with. I had actually declined a previous vendor (whom I had met in person) when their communication was not reliable. I am so glad that I decided to go with Special Events of New England instead! They worked with the coordinator of our wedding venue, so that I didn’t have to worry about the details of delivery and pick-up of the chairs. We had a DIY wedding, so we did set up and pack up the chairs on our own, but it was so easy to do. I was able to make all the arrangements in advance so that I could fully enjoy my wedding day. The white garden chairs were perfect for our indoor chapel ceremony, and though it sounds silly to have a fond memory of those white chairs, I think I always will!

Great to work with for our wedding. We were married at a summer camp and thus needed to rent some high top cocktail tables and linens. Team was very easy to work with and made some great recommendations. On Sunday when the staff showed up to pick up the tables we hadn't stacked them all in one location yet and the staff said not to worry and they went and picked up the few we had scattered. Simple, easy and reliable, would definitely recommend them!

Special Events of NE did a wonderful job providing rentals for our wedding. We rented a tent, tables, a bar, chairs, linens, and some glassware. Everything arrived on time. The guys helped with setup of the tents the days prior to our wedding, and then picked things up a few days after. We primarily dealt with Bob as we built up our order, and he was professional throughout the entire process. We'd recommend giving them a call if you have rental needs.

This rental company was very easy to work with and reasonable. Bob was very responsive and the gentleman that came out to measure for the tent was professional and knowledgeable. The sailcloth tent for our wedding was gorgeous and all the other items were great quality! They did seem a little understaffed at setup though, so if you have access to your venue early, try and get on the setup schedule earlier than later. Also, we had one of my mom’s 6 foot tables as the bar back table under the tent and we think the breakdown crew by accidentally packed it up and we were never able to get that back. Therefore, if you have any of your own furniture with the rentals, make sure to remove it. Lastly, there was some confusion on who was getting the permit. The site visit employee said it’s something they handle so I sent them the contact information. Then they came to do the tent and the permit had not been issued yet since the order manager thought I was procuring the permit. Everything worked out though and, again, Bob was very responsive and helpful in resolving. I would definitely recommend this company and work with them again, just providing my two cents.

I am so grateful we went with Special Events for all our rentals. Bob was great to work with. He was quick to respond and very helpful with his suggestions and ideas. We rented the sailcloth tent 51x111 for about 150 guests and it was more than enough room. The lighting they did in the tent was gorgeous and looked so amazing lit up at night. The tents and chairs were delivered and set up with no issues. I didn’t actually meet any of the delivery staff, but I heard very nice things about them. I highly recommend going with Special Events for any of your rental needs. I know my parents will definitely be using them in the future for any more events they host. They were great!!

I would NEVER recommend this vendor to anyone, especially not a bride!!! I reserved tables, chairs and linens for a baby shower of 70 people at my home. I worked with someone over email for a few weeks, and then with a woman who answered the phone (who was very nice) and gave her all the info along with my credit card. I was told on 8/11 I would receive a contract in the mail to sign and return and be called 2 days prior for delivery time. On 8/23 I called to check on the contract as it hadn't arrived, and was told by the rudest, most condescending man that "sorry, I see the quote but it's not reserved and we are closed off for that date". Their incompetency and mistake was now my problem, and 3 weeks before my event I had NO rentals. There was "nothing he could do". When I asked to speak to a manager, he tells me he is the owner!! What a disgraceful way to run your business. As a small business owner myself, I can tell you I wouldn't have one if this was how I treated customers. If this was my wedding, I could not imagine the stress that this would cause. This place doesn't care about you, or your event. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere where they believe EVERY event is special.

Bob of Special Events of New England provided lovely table linens, napkins, china and beautiful chairs for our August 5, 2016 wedding. We had our reception in a museum, so had to bring everything in from outside vendors, and Special Events of New England was great to work with. Bob was very knowledgeable, understanding and flexible: he even did a FaceTime session with us since we were out of state, so that we could see how everything in the showroom looked. We chose a lovely light olive colored table linen, and forest green napkins for a striking contrast, both of which complemented the beautiful floor of our venue. This was actually a color change from our initial order, but Bob helped us achieve the look we wanted, and the photographs of the room with the farmstyle tables look so elegant. We even had matching linens for our bartender stations. I highly recommend Bob's work!

nothing was amazing about the rental company they didn't set up the tent sidewalks like I had asked and tipped them to do and when they took down the tent they broke a pallet Bart husband made overall not impressed with the service at all tent and lighting was nice but you can get better deals elsewhere

I had a 200+ outdoor wedding and Special Events were wonderful to to work with! They brought in the tent, tables, chairs, plates, glasses, linens, etc. Everything came together beautifully and we were so happy to work with them!

We used Special Events for our chairs and dance floor rentals. Everything was delivered nice and early! We appreciated that the dance floor was set up just how we wanted, and the chairs were easy for us to put where they needed to go!

We rented a beautiful sailcloth tent for our wedding along with tables, chairs, dance floor and lighting. All the equipment was delivered on time and looked great. They were very easy to work with. We meet with Bob and I emailed him lots of questions and he always got right back to me. They delivered and picked up the equipment and everything went very smoothly. Everyone loved the way the tent looked and the lighting made it perfect!

We had a beautiful wedding and were very happy with our tent and linen. The only downside was that we had been talking to Bob for multiple months about our tent and our potential layouts.. however, the week of our wedding, we were told that the tent we had been planning on, was not actually the tent that we had rented. Though this would have been no big deal otherwise, our entire layout had to be changed because of the smaller tent and the pole placements which was a huge inconvenience. Otherwise, everything else was great and worth the trouble!

With an outdoor reception venue, there was no question we would rent a tent for our June wedding. We were surprised to learn how expensive tent rentals would be, and looked into every vendor in the Massachusetts and New Hamsphire area to compare prices. Special Events of New England provided the best value, and we are incredible happy that this is the company we chose to work with. They were easy to work with, professional, and incredibly helpful. We worked with Robert Soucy, and he made himself available to answer all of our questions. Planning a wedding was a lot of fun, but there were a lot of details to cover! Bob provided tent layout ideas for us, made suggestions about tables, chairs, and linen needs (and provided these items for less than the caterer, or other vendors, could). It was nearly impossible for us to determine our specific needs when it came to square footage of the tent and such, but Bob helped us and was patient and honest throughout the process. The tent was set up three days in advance of our wedding, which gave us ample time to set up the tables and chairs (We elected to set them up ourselves. Special Events will set these up for you for a small price, but we had plenty of people to help us!). It was a big help to have the tent set up in advance, so we could focus our energy on other tasks, and enjoy our time with family and friends. The tent was absolutely beautiful, and the lights that were also arranged by Special Events made for a stunning and magical setting for our celebration. Many thanks!

I was extremly happy with the whole process from start to finish. Since my wedding was in the summer I had to start planning a year in advance. Bob Soucy the owner met with us personally and help us decide exactly what we needed for our wedding. It was outside so we need a tent in the summer heat, as well as lights, etc. He answered all our questions and even helped walk is through some last minute changes. I was very pleased to have gotten a call directly from Bob Soucy the owner to go over the details of delivery & setup. I would HIGHLY recommend Special Events of NE LLC.

Was very pleased with Special Events of New England. They provided our tent, tables, chairs and dinner rentals. Everything was great -they were efficient and fast and accomodating to our needs for having the tent installed on a certain day. I felt the quality of the products were high and we were not disappointed with our decision to use SE as our vendor.

They did a great job setting up the tent. They showed up a little earlier than expected which was nice. They were super helpful when we were trying to search for quotes from all the local vendors and they had the best price for the items that we needed!

Special Events was strongly recommended by my venue so we decided to work with them for our tent and all other party rentals for our outdoor wedding. We worked with Bob and he made planning so easy and fun! He helped us get everything we needed, found ways to help us stay within our budget and was always very pleasant to work with (no matter how many times I called in a row to bug him with yet another question). I worked with Special Events of NE for my June 4, 2011 wedding. We rented a dance floor, tables, and chairs from them. They accommodated our needs even a couple days before delivery. They were quick to put together the dance floor and the tables and chairs were in good condition. Their delivery fee to my area was high but because their prices are reasonable, it was actually the best prices for the area! I highly recommend this company.

Special events knew everything to ask and suggested things that I didnt think off. They were professional and very reasonably priced. The offer rental on everything for making your wedding day perfect! The set uo crew was experienced and respectful of surronding landscape.

They did great. We had to rent everything... 60x40 tent, tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glasses, mugs etc. I was a little overwhelmed, but they were great at helping me figure out what I need, what would look good, what one thing cost vs another. They were always very patient with me playing around with different set ups etc. They have a lot of choices in linens which is one of the reasons I went with them in the first place. It was all simple stuff, but very nice, clean and good quality. Would definitely work with them again.
