From the beginning my wife wished to have our own timeline that she drew up. She was rebutted by two different staff members and would often not cater to what she wanted, but rather what they wanted to do, My wife never actually got what she wanted.
The night of the wedding a bus was supposed to leave the barns at 1030/1050 and 1110 to bring all of our guests to the Inn at Middletown. At 1100, the bus was outside and my brother in law told the bus driver to wait for us, that we were coming. Multiple people have told me he said “I don’t care”, closed the doors and drove approximately 35 people to the Marriot located 20 minutes away. Nobody got off of the bus. That was not the schedule. He then returned to the barns at 1140 with a full bus, and told me we did not have room for anyone. I told him that he left the bride and groom here, and we were getting on the bus and would be bringing everyone to the inn. By now over 30 of the 50 plus people on the bus we’re angry they have been sitting on the bus for about 45 minutes with no destination. Prior To leaving the parking lot, the driver violently slammed on the brakes, stood up, and said “I’ve been doing this for 14 years, I need everyone quiet, I need solace”. He began to say another line but I stood up, told him to sit down, shut up and drive us to the inn, that he’s already wasted an hour of time.
The trip to the Inn was less then pleasant with him being aggravated. “Angry driving” is a thing. When he dropped us off. My wife told him, “I have your schedule, this is not what you were supposed to do”. The driver then argued with Her and told her she was wrong. By the time I got to the front I told him what needed to be said and the driver continued to argue with me about how I was wrong. It was not until he realized I was the groom that he asked me what to do now. I told him forget the schedule, he is to wait here for any of my guests that wish to go back to the Marriot. By the time I made it to the front door of the inn, he had left and was not seen again. My guests all had to Uber back to the Marriot if they wished to go back.
All in all, we lost an hour and 10 minutes out of our after party, did not have the bus for the time we paid for, and my wife cried on our wedding night. They were nothing but an issue from the beginning and they never showed any compassion.
I spoke to a rep who’s response was “we talked to the driver and changed some policies so that it never happened again” What a joke of a company. No refund for terrible service and making the bride cry on her wedding night and now are not answering my emails. DO NOT USE
