Toshi is so much fun to work with and such an amazing DJ/Host! From the beginning, Toshi is so friendly and easily available for any questions or concerns. Planning during a pandemic is never easy but Toshi was always quick to respond and flexible when changes needed to be made. He's such an expert in his field and made our reception such a fun & entertaining night! We didn't have much input on music but he really took what little we had and made it amazing! 1000% recommend to any couple looking to create the best & most memorable night!

Toshi was so easy to work with, and was great about planning ahead and staying in touch with us throughout the process. He asked all the right questions and nailed down all the details so that he could help guide us and our guests smoothly through our reception.Toshi brought the music and energy that helped us and our guests have so much fun dancing and celebrating a night we will never forget.

Toshi was great from the get-go. We were referred to Toshi through several sources and it makes sense why. He was very prompt, knowledgeable on his craft, and offered great advice for our event. We were one of the couples impacted by Covid-19 and had to postpone. Like many of the couples, this meant piecing together a follow-up wedding in a short time frame. Not only was Toshi accommodating, but he was very understanding of our situation. Moreover, Toshi made it clear he wanted to make our wedding day as least stressful as possible. This meant taking our calls on short notice, talking about the venue as he'd already worked there before and been recommended because of that, and then providing us detailed sheets so that we were organized on our song and style selections. Toshi's prompt responses kept us at ease as we were planning our event. I have no doubt that Toshi will be a great partner to work with for your wedding and/or event, and I would highly recommend him and Spectrum Entertainment.

Toshi and his crew were absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It was tough because we were a COVID couple, rescheduled our wedding multiple times. We are so glad he was available for our actual wedding day. He has a very informative consultation with you, gets to know you as a couple, and what you vision is like for your wedding. He is not only a DJ but also can be your emcee, and offers lighting and other technical rental stuff too. He was extremely helpful with helping us plan lighting around our event too, which I didn't even think about until he inquired about it. Most importantly, he is such a humble and down-to-earth guy. We had complete trust in him. And most impressive, was that I had created my own playlist of songs for our dinner reception, but instead of just playing straight from my playlist, he created a hybrid playlist with his own selections, and WOW I was blown away, it was even better than I could've ever created for myself. He is very well versed with music and we are so grateful he spent the time to get to know us so that everything media on our wedding day was just perfect. THANK YOU TOSHI for being the most amazing guy ever. He is a diamond in the rough, undiscovered gem, whatever you wanna call it, and super competitive pricing for the quality and professionalism of his work. Just hire him. You will definitely not regret it!

We hired Toshi and his team to DJ our destination wedding scheduled for July 2020. Unfortunately due to COVID we were forced to cancel our wedding or postpone. With so much uncertainty surrounding COVID we financially did not have the ability to push our wedding date back not knowing if we would have to reschedule again or not. Toshi was not pleasant to work with when discussing the cancellation of our wedding. In short, we didn't feel it was right to lose our entire deposit when no services had been rendered. His response to our request for any amount of reimbursement for our deposit was "I understand that it's not desirable to hold a wedding in July this year, so that is why the cancellation terms have been relaxed, you have the opportunity to postpone and utilize every bit of your deposit in the future." A two week quarantine as soon as we would arrive to Hawaii is more than "not desirable." Here we are in October and Hawaii has still not removed their 2 week quarantine. If you are currently planning a wedding DO NOT hire Spectrum Entertainment. It is already hard enough planning a wedding with COVID-19 affecting everyone worldwide, but to have a vendor that is not compassionate and understanding of where we are coming from is not a company we would like to work with again in the future. There are plenty of other vendors in Hawaii that will work with you and provide excellent customer service. If I could give them a 0 out of 5 I would.

I am so glad I went with spectrum entertainment for my wedding! My family and myself love to celebrate and party and our DJ Jesse was perfect! He was kind, funny, and knew the exact music to play to keep people dancing all night long! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Toshi had done a few of our friends weddings so we knew how awesome he was already! He's so friendly and warm as an emcee that a couple of our guests thought he was a personal friend of ours lol. Great music, fun dancing, and awesome service from beginning to end! :)

Cannot rave enough about how awesome Christian was during our wedding night. Toshi started the initial conversation with us and we had a face-to-face meeting with Toshi and Christian a week prior to the wedding to finalize the song list. They were incredibly receptive to our song choice and had everything we wanted. During the consultation, they also provided suggestions to songs and how to tailor our song choices to the wedding vibe, and it worked out perfectly! There were a lot of flexibility working with Spectrum. We had an ukulele player for our ceremony and they set her up with a mic and system to play on short notice. We also had an unexpected surprise hula dance, which Christian was very quick to provide the hula song accompaniment. We also had a dance-off, which Christian help facilitate to perfection...people loved it and it set the vibe for the entire night. Besides providing music as we requested, Christian was very perceptive of the crowd and was an excellent emcee who carried the energy all the way though the night. I believe he even tailored the dance music (which we provided a balance of slow and club music), to feed the energy of the crowd, which ended up being just full energy the entire rest of the night. It was an excellent call he made on his own and our guests love it. The lighting was an unexpected surprise. Had no idea they had cool lights along with the music. That was a bonus for me and it really turned up the energy for the dance floor. Overall, just excellent. Pick these guys and you won't go wrong.

Excellent, fantastic, superb, perfect, marvelous, wonderful - the list can go on and on and on!!! Toshi is the MAN!! From the moment we had our consultation over the phone with him for his DJ and emcee services, I was sold. He is so professional, knowledgeable, and organized, and he played a huge role in making our dream wedding come true!! We can't thank him enough for all his hard work, and for being so on top of things. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted on our special day - everything from the music to the uplighting to being an awesome emcee! He gives great recommendations and advice, too! My now-husband and I had never visited our venue and were planning our whole wedding from California. Toshi really helped us out by giving us firsthand info that we wouldn't have known otherwise. He is super responsive and helpful and always made sure to answer all of our questions. At our wedding, he was so good at sensing the mood and energy of the crowd and we really appreciate all the hours of fun he provided us and our guests! You can tell he really enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work - it really shows!! He is such a genuinely nice person, too! Just as all the other glowing reviews state - we have nothing but good things to say about Spectrum Entertainment! If you're thinking about booking Toshi for your wedding or event - DO IT!! Christian and Toshi were awesome! I was extremely busy with work and let wedding planning sit on the back burner. Toshi and Christian kept me on track and made sure everything was prepared even though I was a total procrastinator. Leading up to our wedding, I made many last minute changes and they were extremely flexible and patient with me. They also didn't charge me until all of my changes were finalized, which was awesome because I didn't have to worry about three different deposits or refunds. I requested that Christian wear his pineapple head (look at his insta @rockemwell to see the pineapple head), and it was a huge hit. Christian's assistant did screw up my bridesmaid entrance songs, but since I didn't get them these until a few days before the wedding I wasn't that upset. As soon as the entrances finished, Christian came over to us and gave us a sincere apology, which my husband and I thought was very mature and professional. He didn't make excuses or try to blame anyone. Everything else went smoothly and we had a great time! Christian and Toshi met with me beforehand to go over my music preferences and even mixed some of my favorite bands into the dance music. We danced to an awesome mix of modern edm, old school jams, and even Queen. I would definitely book them again!

My fiance and I were blown away with Toshi. He kept our guests alive all night! Even the little kids with the "Baby Shark" song... lol. They absolutely LOVED that. I seriously don't think anyone else could have topped him. The way he lit up our venue with his lights.. OMG... sooo beautiful! We were scared that our outdoor venue (Paliku Gardens) wouldn't have enough light once the sun went down, but the way that he lit up the bushes/trees/tents was just gorgeous. He even lit up a few palm trees that "danced" to the beat to some songs! That was totally unexpected and super cool! We are soooo happy we chose Toshi and could not have asked for a better time. Thank you, Toshi! You rock!

Toshi and Christian did an amazing job with our wedding I am so glad that they were a part of it. From the very beginning they were very easy to communicate with and very collaborative in understanding what type of music we wanted as well as offering options for uplighting and dance floor lighting which added a beautiful touch for the night! We really appreciated their attention to detail in making sure they were fully tuned in to the wedding day timeline and pronunciation of names for the bridal party/speeches/etc. They really thought of everything and also allowed space for us to give input to make the whole experience what we envisioned. They fully exceeded expectations and Christian was an amazing emcee and kept the dance floor packed all night! Even some of the wait staff couldn't help put join in and some of the staff mentioned they're never seen the dance floor so consistently full the whole night! Several guests commented on how much they loved not just the dance floor music but also the cocktail hour & dinner tunes. There was a huge tree as a focal point over our reception area which looked gorgeous with the uplighting Spectrum provided and the lights for the dance floor made for a great atmosphere as well. My husband is admittedly particular/hard to please when it comes to music and Spectrum team was accommodating and enthusiastic with any and all questions/requests made throughout the process. I could not recommend them highly enough! Toshi & Christian thank you for doing such a beautiful job, it really made the night!

There are no words for how great Spectrum Entertainment was!! Our DJ/emcee Toshi went above and beyond our highest expectations! From the moment we met Toshi, we felt like we’ve been friends forever! He made sure that everything flowed well and his emceeing was on point! All of our guests had a great time and said so many great things about our DJ! He followed our timeline and made adjustments on the fly where needed and you could tell that he was in his element. Out of all our vendors, our DJ was our favorite! We highly recommend them~!

My husband and I have nothing but great words for Toshi and Spectrum Entertainment! We are from WA state and had a destination wedding in Hawaii at Kualoa Ranch. I had no issues with communication with Toshi. All communication with him was through Facetime (FT), phone call and email. I initially contacted him through Yelp and received an automatic response to my email that explained he would be out of the office and would have limited access to his email. He did provide a phone number in the email for people with urgent matters. Once he was back in his office, Toshi eventually contacted me with a very detailed email. From then on, communication was effortless! He provided a music template for my husband and I to fill out, which was very helpful as it was used to prepare us for our FT consultation with him. During our FT consultation, we informed Toshi of some of the artists we like and the type of mood we were aiming for and with that, he was able to suggest other artists and music that really coincided with our vibe. We felt very comfortable trusting Toshi to make some of the music selections. Toshi was very professional but laid back, which, we loved! Toshi followed our timeline very well. He had it in his hands most of the time and I saw him referring to it a lot, which was great since our wedding coordinator was not very helpful in that area. Toshi did everything a DJ/MC should do plus more. I WANT TO SPECIFICALLY POINT OUT...during the start of dinnertime, our caterers brought our plate of food to our table. I was getting ready to eat but then my husband suggested we take group photos with everyone before they headed to the buffet line. I agreed but all I could think about was how all the flies were going to get on our food while we were away from it. About a minute later, I saw Toshi running down to our seats with two plates in his hands. I thought to myself, "Oh good, he is going to get some food for himself...but why he is running in the opposite direction of where the food is?" A couple seconds later, I turn around and see that he covered our food with the plates so that the bugs wouldn't get on them because he knew we were going to take group photos before eating! My husband and I were so impressed by his gesture and appreciated the thoughtfulness so much. Lastly, I had a slideshow to play during dinner. I was told by Toshi that all I needed to bring was the slideshow on my own laptop and he would provide all of the wiring. Turns out, according to my sister-in-law, the "tablet" that I brought did not have an HDMI connector, which presented a problem but Toshi told me not to worry. He told me he would figure it out. Somehow, Toshi and my sister-in-law worked their magic. I am not a tech person so from what my sister-in-law told me, it sounded pretty complicated but even if it was not, Toshi never made me feel worried even though my sister-in-law said that HE was! Overall, my husband and I felt VERY taken care of. Also, I later found out, after the wedding, that Toshi helped figure out some issues with our dessert table. The person who made my cake said she was very appreciative of Toshi's help. I do not know exactly what he helped out with but just knowing, our DJ, helped out with a "dessert table issue," blew my mind. Toshi took pictures with us, partied with us and even danced with us a little. By the end of the night, he felt more like a friend to us than our DJ/MC/Wedding coordinator.

We had DJ Rockemwell(Christian) of Spectrum Entertainment for our wedding reception. He was an excellent MC and his music style was exactly what we had requested. He was able to do last minute changes when one of our family members wanted to sing one of our songs. He was very accommodating and overall a really fun guy to work with. He is a very gifted DJ and transitioned between songs very well and he had mad mixing skills. Our family member who is a musician was thoroughly impressed with his work.

From the moment we met Toshi, we had no doubts that we were going to hire him for our wedding. We instantly felt connected and felt that he was someone we had known for years! Toshi was very personable, and helped us remain calm throughout the whole planning process. He was very prompt and responsive with emails, which was so important since we were planning a destination wedding. He was very honest and gave the best advice when making our song choice decisions, and definitely understood the exact vibe we were going for for our wedding. He was very organized during the whole planning process and on the day of our wedding, which kept me calm and relaxed during the whole process. He communicated very effectively and let me text him with concerns up until the morning of our wedding! Toshi was not only a fantastic emcee and DJ for our wedding, but just an all around great person with an infectious personality. Months after our wedding, our friends still ask about Toshi and how we found him. We are so happy we were able to have Toshi as our emcee and DJ and we will forever remember our amazing wedding day thanks to Toshi and his team’s amazing work!

Spectrum Entertainment exceeded all of our expectations. At some point during our planning, my husband and I were so confused and was unsure on how to move forward with our program as this was our first time planning a wedding. Toshi of Spectrum Entertainment took charge and handled things for us even though it wasn't a part of our contract with him. He is easy to work with and he gets back to emails/phone calls/ texts very quickly. He is funny and upbeat and no one gets the crowd as hyped up as he does. He is simply the best at what he does. I am including a link to our Same Day Edit as I cannot put to words how amazing our first dance was and we owe all of that to Spectrum Entertainment. Watch it!! Toshi and Spectrum were AWESOME! You won’t find a better DJ, MC, lighting and/or sound company for your wedding or any event. Toshi is extremely professional, but laidback and fun at the same time. Just what you want in the DJ, MC, lighting and sound company you work with for any event. Spectrum provided us with sound equipment for our ceremony and reception, lighting equipment that set the mood in the ballroom for the reception, as well as DJ and MC services. Toshi will help you customize your package to select the services you want/need for your event. He was happy to help us coordinate getting a slideshow up at our wedding when we made the request 48hrs before the day of. We had asked for a simple projector just to show a picture slideshow, but he went above and beyond and brought his LED video board that was AMAZING behind the DJ table. The lighting and sound equipment were great and definitely helped set the mood, but Toshi is the secret to this business. His charismatic laidback energy makes him THE PERFECT personality to DJ and/or MC weddings and other types of events. I cannot say how much we appreciate everything Toshi and Spectrum did to make our wedding day special.

We were lucky enough to have Toshi as our wedding emcee and DJ. He was absolutely amazing!! Toshi did a great job keeping our guests entertained and they all loved his fun personality. The music selection was perfect throughout the entire evening, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor! Needless to say, Spectrum Entertainment is a must-have for any event!

We can't express how much fun we had with Toshi and the Spectrum team! They took the time to help us curate our diverse taste of music for the night. Our family loved his cool demeanor when emceeing the program. The uplighting made the night truly something special! This cable company stinks! JUST KIDDING! Poor Toshi and Spectrum Entertainment now can get mistaken for the subpar cable company that tons of people have problems with. :( Ever since the first day we met Toshi, we have had amazing things to say about him. I personally am more comfortable going with companies that have great communications skills and as much attention to detail that I have. He was very patient in answering all of my questions (trust me, there were alot) and understanding when having to explain something to me in more detail. Our reception was outdoors at one of the Kualoa Ranch sites that has this beautiful monkeypod tree that I fell in love with. Spectrum Entertainment does uplighting and, lo and behold, in his portfolio, Toshi had THE tree and it looked magnificent. I honestly didn't even consider uplighting to be something we would look for in our DJ and even expected to hire a separate MC. He explained all the services that he provides and was willing to work with us on pricing while still ensuring that we understood the quality of sounds and lights that we would be paying for. We had a few consultations with him (including an initial "interview" session) and he has the ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable. We seriously felt like we knew him forever and his personality had so many traits of our good friends that we swore we must have crossed paths with him one way or another. Other MC's we interviewed seemed to BE the center of attention and, although we are a couple that doesn't prefer the spotlight ourselves, we knew that that's not what we were looking for. Toshi explained (and executed) that he was NOT the center of attention or dominate the program and could make the program iself the focus if we weren't comfortable having it on us. That's exactly what he did. He worked with our planner and me on the timeline and carefully went through the pronunciations of each name. We had our grand entrance by boat and he timed our entrance perfectly with his announcements. His DJs handled editing and looping the music well and he followed the timeline exactly as it was written. The wedding party that had the itinerary commented how everything was perfect, down to the minute, and flowed very well together. We were doing table pictures prior to the tables heading to the buffet line and in between pictures Toshi was running up to us with our glasses of water! How amazing is that kind of service?! He constantly checked up on us throughout the night to see if we needed anything. I mean, wow!! The weather slightly prevented the proper lighting for our trees (because of flooding) but Toshi explained to us what he did with the extra lights and where they were placed. I honestly wouldn't have noticed but he made sure that I was in the know at all times. And if there was anything that people would bring up randomly these two weeks past the wedding, was the music. Toshi was very detailed in asking about music that I listed down and got a better idea by asking for a few samples of each. HE. NAILED. IT. The dance floor was packed from the time dancing started to the last song (about an hour and a half). I chose old school music for dancing but at one point I noticed the numbers of adults started dwindling slightly off the dance floor. Then he played this song that I've never even heard of (and didn't know how to dance to, HAHA!) and wanted to ask what that darn rap kind of music was... but then I noticed that all my nephews and nieces that were in elementary and high school came onto the dance floor! Seriously my jaw almost dropped because they were the "cool kids" that I didn't even expect to take any part in the reception, let alone dancing! From there he did a good mix of old school and today's hits that kept the littles AND the olds on the dance floor. Talk about knowing his sh*t. I highly recommend Toshi and Spectrum Entertainment for any DJ/MC/uplighting/entertainment needs. It's times like these that I wish I was more of a party animal to give me reason to hire them again or more often in the future!

Spectrum Entertainment far exceeded our expectations. Toshi and his team really know what they’re doing. I had an awful experience with a few other DJ/Emcee interviews when trying to hire someone for our wedding reception, and when I called Toshi and spoke to him, I felt instantly comfortable and we effortlessly connected. He gives off such warm, positive vibes, and I felt that making our day special was just as important to him as it was to us. When expressing our vision to him, he noted everything and asked great questions to make sure he understood everything correctly and that there were no surprises or last minute concerns. When it came time for our big day, he executed our vision flawlessly. The song selections were great – he incorporated some of the ones I identified as well as a few of his own in the mix. I had guests coming up to me all night complimenting the DJ, song selection, and the program he presented. I recommend Spectrum Entertainment to every bride out there. Seriously…do not look any further! Save yourself the stress…there is no need! Toshi, you rock. Thanks again for everything. I am a high-anxiety individual with very high (often unreasonable) expectations, and I didn’t have to worry about a darn thing with Spectrum Entertainment. Truly grateful to have worked with Toshi and his team.

TOSHI IS AMAZING!!!!!!! Our wedding wouldn't have gone so perfectly without him! I can't express enough how awesome he is! He's super professional and incredibly fun and easy to work with. It was nerve-wracking for me to try to plan an evening that our guests would enjoy, but Toshi answered all my questions; he provided suggestions and alterations to both music and wedding program that were seriously PERFECT! The cocktail and dinner playlists were rad, and the dance music was the best! All of our guests keep telling us how amazing the music was, and how fun the DJ was! Toshi is amazing at reading the crowd and adjusting the songs based on what people are enjoying His energy is contagious, and you can't help but have fun! Honestly, hiring Toshi was the best thing we did for the whole wedding! It took all the pressure off of us during our wedding, because we knew he was keeping track of our schedule and making sure everyone was having an awesome time. Thanks for everything Toshi!!!!!!

Toshi was seriously the life of the party. Somehow he became the DJ, the MC, & did part of the day of coordinator's work. The sounds and the lighting were amazing!! Toshi & his brother really made my wedding the wedding of the year! His brother was a sweetheart- he fanned my husband's and my dinner meals (since it was an outdoor wedding). Toshi was the stress reliever, we were 20 minutes behind schedule but by the end of the wedding we were right on schedule allowing my guests have enough dancing time. Highly recommend this duo team because they truly are the BEST on the island. I'm so happy you were a part of our wedding! #MeetTheBonhams

Toshi is hands down the best DJ in the business. What’s even more amazing is that he can do sound, lighting, and will emcee your wedding as well! He was all set-up for our ceremony and made sure that we had microphones for our vows so that everyone could hear. He was great in making sure that he played the songs that we wanted for each part of the wedding! Toshi literally DID NOT MISS A BEAT! The lights that he set up for our wedding day were so beautiful! It really added to the overall look! So, instead of working with 2-3 different vendors, you strictly work with him which makes planning ten times easier. Toshi got people who don’t normally dance on the dance floor. It was amazing! He also is extremely knowledgeable in different aspects of wedding planning. Toshi is fun and easy going! I’m so glad we went with him! He was literally THE BEST!

Christian was the DJ at my Husband and my wedding. He did a great job getting people on the dance floor, picking music folks wanted to dance to, and managing a slight “rain” issue during the ceremony. (Which required running…literally running equipment into the house when it started only to lug it back out once the rain stopped.) My overall experience working with him and the owner (Toshi), was great. Before the wedding they had us fill out a form with song requests, genre preferences and, very importantly, what “not to play”. About a month in advance we went over the form and put together a detailed account of the day—what would be played when and our ideas around timeline. This gave me lots of reassurance that I didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding, which was 100% true. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Toshi is hands down the coolest dude EVER. I always wanted my wedding to be a party, and when we decided to have a smaller destination wedding I was worried we would lose the party atmosphere, but boy was I wrong! I reached out to Toshi after reading the reviews on here, and I knew he must be awesome when I saw literally nothing negative. After I got my first response from him via email I knew he was the real deal. He knows the ins and outs of weddings and helped me so much on many wedding related questions before I ended up hiring a DOC. He could easily be a wedding planner as well. He's a jack of all trades and incredibly knowledgeable! Yes, a DJ of this caliber is not cheap, but he was 100% worth every penny. He ended up doing the music for our ceremony and reception, and was also our emcee for the night. He did an amazing job at all three and in addition was the best hype man out there! He kept the room high energy all night, despite the fact we only had about 45 people. People were dancing all night! Not to mention he constantly checked in with my husband and I making sure we had everything we needed or wanted. He gave such great advice, played all of the music we had requested (and then some), and truly set the tone for the whole evening. I loved all of my vendors, but we definitely had the most compliments on Toshi. My Dad wanted to be besties with him, and my husband's Nana commented so many times how fun and cool he was. We definitely saw him more as a friend than we did a vendor. He really cares about his job and goes way out of his way to make sure you feel the love. The adjectives I'm using don't even do him justice, but just trust all of the reviews and hire Spectrum Entertainment for your wedding! You will have zero regrets. We hired Spectrum Entertainment for our wedding reception and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Toshi was very organized in laying out the evening and working with our coordinator on the timeline ahead of time. Christian was our DJ and Emcee and was awesome! So many of our guests made comments about how great his was and how on-point his music selection was. We highly recommend!

Toshi hands down was awesome. So quick to respond and detailed with every aspect. He was so easy to work with and on it! It was an outdoor wedding and the day of it rained a little or as they say we had some blessings, and Toshi even went to the extent of cleaning our dancefloor with a squeegee! We weren’t sure where to start for our DJ vendor, but our wedding coordinator highly recommended Toshi to us. She not only suggested him as our DJ but said he’s an amazing emcee and lighting genius too. After our first call with Toshi, we decided to move forward with him and boy were we happy we did! Toshi’s not only organized and knowledgeable, but is very personable and has great energy. Not to mention, super responsive via email. He discussed all options with us and let us know that he preferred to also be our emcee. Although I was very hesitant about using someone we didn’t know as our emcee, it really ended up being our best decision! Toshi has this crazy ability to read a crowd and keep their attention. He had wedding appropriate jokes and really played off of our guests to create such an enjoyable atmosphere for all age groups! And I was very thankful we didn’t have any awkward moments! Well, let’s be honest, there were a few close calls, but Toshi smoothed it all out! :) And did I mention his lighting skills?? We had 24 uplights and let me tell you, they were all worth it! This was my husband’s favorite part of our wedding as Toshi did an amazing job lighting up the room in coordination with his music. We both agreed it was a super SICK addition to our wedding and definitely worth the money. All in all, if you’re looking for a DJ that is the total package, look no further! Toshi is your man!!! He’s the absolute best and loves what he does, which makes him THAT much better! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ, emcee and lighting genius! DJ Toshi, Ph.D. in Party (air horn sound, air horn sound, air horn sound) is perfection! We did our homework, we interviewed a ton of DJ's and it was hard being in Texas and the vendors in Hawaii. A few minutes into speaking with Toshi, we felt comfortable, like we were friends. We knew Toshi was our guy. He took the time to meet with us when we got to Hawaii and made sure our wedding was just what we wanted and assisted in fleshing out our timeline. I gave him some crazy suggestions and he made it work beyond my dreams (e.g., I wanted a bouquet toss to the guys not to the 2 single female guests). His up lighting was also amazing! So much better than we could have imagined. He had everyone out of the dance floor, even my husband's family who just doesn't dance. He responds to emails super quickly. If you are looking for an emcee, he can do it. We didn't want a formal emcee as is common with many Hawaii weddings (cost is just ridiculous to add one and not necessary if they are making general announcements and reading off a script ). His energy is amazing and he ensures that you are well taken care of. Toshi and the Spectrum Entertainment team were great people to work with through the entire process. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ. Toshi is energetic, enthused, and professional. He gave great recommendations and feedback leading up to the wedding and on the day of played both DJ and MC and kept the whole event on schedule. The music selection he played was a great mix for the dance floor and he used our recommendations well to build a whole evening and vibe around. They catered to all our needs, incorporating both our personalities and our wedding theme. We do not have enough WONDERFUL things to say about Toshi!!!!! From the first time we met with him, he was professional, outgoing, enthusiastic, and excited!!! He was not only the DJ at our wedding, but the MC, as well as helping keep us on schedule so we would have maximum time on the dance floor... which was a blast!!! He played the perfect music and our guests literally did not leave the dance floor!!! We. LOVE. TOSHI. Where do we even start?! When we first met Toshi a year before our wedding day, his energy and enthusiasm just captured us immediately. His knowledge and skill aside, we immediately knew that we HAD to have Toshi with us on the day. You would want him there because he’s experienced and he really knows how to read the crowd. His laugh is pretty contagious too haha. He read our crowd so well and our guests loved him. He knew exactly what we wanted and what we didn’t want, and gave us the best event ever. Our guests came up to us during the wedding and after to tell us that they loved the music (during ceremony, cocktail hour, reception AND dance time!). We gave Toshi a loose idea of what we wanted and he nailed it so perfectly. Toshi also emcee-d for us and our guests loved him – he’s just so natural and easygoing, it wasn’t awkward or forced at all. Overall, the flow of the night was so perfect and Toshi is definitely someone you’d want on your team. His uplighting game is on point too.
