Scott and his team was seamless...and fun! We were SO excited to hear the custom songs (and all of the songs!) we picked for the band to play. Just as we expected, the string trio was classy, lively, and filled our venue with a feeling of happiness and love. We had guests coming up to us all night commenting on how special the strings music was and how talented the musicians were. It was just the feeling we wanted our guests to have. We knew we wanted SpeechLess to perform at our wedding right from the start, we only had to play one of their sample videos and we were 120% sure we would/could shuffle our wedding budget around to accommodate this band (this is with way more confidence than I can say for my wedding dress!). We were also blown away by the team’s efficiency with all correspondence. We got an email reply and a list of songs from Scott literally an hour after we hit send on the website form (this was at 1 am?!). The comprehensive (but straightforward) documents and suggested songs for each part of the ceremony (and their reassurance that they could read the crowd for us for the reception) was also extremely helpful and professional, and we loved the personal touch having a band lent to the wedding itself. We loved the band members’ warm and cheerful personalities, it was as if we had our close group of friends playing at our wedding (but at celebrity-level standard!). Their music was beautiful for the ceremony, full of energy for the reception in the evening and for those of us in the ‘I hate dancing’ camp, the full dance floor and empty seats told us otherwise! Well, I had nothing to worry about because they played the song BEAUTIFULLY and I couldn't be happier with their work. The team was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and I highly recommend SpeechlessMusic. They're a little pricier than other area quartets...but you definitely get what you pay for! :)

not going to have any entertainment but on a whim I found SpeechLess online and from the moment I found them I knew they would only enhance our day. I loved their music selections and repertoire and from the moment I contacted Scott he was fantastic! The restaurant had reservations about me having live music in our private dining room due to the size. I was able to tease out all of their concerns with Scott and he assured me that the music would work well in the space we had and that if on the day there was anything that didn't work they could adjust it. On the day the guys were just fantastic, true artists and they obviously enjoy what they do. They did a fantastic job with our chosen music selection and had even learned 2 new songs as a special request from us. They nailed both of them! Guys if you ever record either of those songs as an acoustic demo please send them on to us!!! Scott has since sent me the sheet music for our special requests which was a lovely touch and it is great to be able to add them to our memories! Thank you so much for the fantastic job you guys did. They have an entire list of instrumental combinations you can pick from - We chose violin, guitar, upright bass and percussion (4 musicians total), which was perfect for our intimate event. If you are looking for more, they also have fantastic singers, a full brass band, piano and more. They are very well versed in contemporary music as well as traditional jazz and classical. Every single person who attended our wedding commented on how amazing the music was. They even learned a few specific songs we requested that were important to us for our ceremony. My husband handled most of the interactions with Speechless during the run-up and the day of the event. 99% of the work required on on his end happened in the months before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, all we had to do was introduce ourselves to the band. They figured out the rest. Our wedding was the best day of our lives. We can say, without a shred of doubt, that Speechless deserves a huge amount of credit for helping us pull it off. If you care about having great music at your wedding, hire Speechless. They truly love what they do and are phenomenal!

They are exceptional, professionals musicians who clearly love what you they do. This was the single biggest expense of our modest wedding and well beyond worth it.

The dance floor was moving all day and I did not provide any instruction on specific songs. We also asked if one of our friends could play the violin with them during the ceremony, and they not only welcomed the idea but took the time to rehearse with him separately ahead of time. They put on an incredible show at the reception, got everybody of all ages up and dancing, and really helped to make our wedding day special. The group’s energy was phenomenal and our family and friends were all amazed by the quality and talent of the musicians. They are so much more than just a wedding band and it felt like we were at a concert performed by a world famous band! For our ceremony and cocktails we used a SpeechLess Strings trio (bass, violin and guitar) and they too were incredible. The music was beautiful and they even created an acoustic version of a Paul Simon song I requested for my processional! Our day was perfect, we had the time of our lives, and so much of that is thanks to SpeechLess. We are so happy that they were our wedding band!!

We made two special music requests for the ceremony, which they played flawlessly. And although I was off having family photos taken at the time, many of my guests relayed to me that at the cocktail hour the Speechless trio sat down at a table of elderly guests (who tend to be a little forgotten sometimes in all the wedding flurry) and serenaded them with "Somewhere Over the Rainbow!" I received emails from about 8 different bands and after careful perusal of the website, I decided to contact Scott at Speechless. I was very pleased with the fact that they would perform at both the ceremony and reception for a price that was lower than some bands that would charge for the reception alone. Also I was very impressed by the professionalism with which the group comported themselves in the videos posted on the band's website. Scott was incredibly timely, communicative, patient and professional in all emails and phone calls as well as incredibly flexible and collaborative in working with my requests. At the reception itself, Speechless played to a high energy, packed dance floor for nearly 3 and a half hours. The musicianship was top notch. My best friend who is a professional guitarist was incredibly impressed with Scott's playing. The saxophonist's solo during "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" was awesome almost surpassing Bobby Keys himself. The vocalists were fantastic. My uncle who manages a well known music club in Rhode Island complimented me on finding a top notch band and he is not one to deal with empty compliments. Moral of the story: I highly, highly advise you to book Speechless - they take great pride in their work as professionals and as artists.

They were able to perform several different sets, an acoustic trio/quartet during the cocktail hour, during dinner, and through the post dinner reception. The set list they were able to play was the widest range I had ever seen at a wedding; ranging from contemporary pop/dance anthems and funk tunes to classic ballads. Scott and the band brought their own ideas to the table that complemented what my wife and I wanted, and everything fit perfectly. After the wedding the feedback I've gotten from every attendee was that this was easily the best group of musicians anyone had ever seen at a wedding, and it's absolutely true. Watching them perform together it was clear they were excited to be there, were having fun, and were passionate about what they were playing. At one point during one of the slower numbers there were two folks who were without a dance partner. Two of the band members took it upon themselves to ask the girls without a date to a dance and it completely made their night. Again, not something required or expected, but showed them once again exceeding expectations. A good portion of my family are involved in music either directly or indirectly; several play instruments, several are in bands etc...and for a good portion of the evening there was a good amount of people just watching in awe at the technical skill and raw talent of the band. Watching closely you can tell they are all classically trained, and you'd think they would have been playing together for 10+ years at least. Again I want to reiterate how special this band is, and how incredibly happy we stumbled upon them. They made the night unforgettable and special in a way that any other band could absolutely never do

We attribute a major part of our really memorable wedding to having SpeechLess as our band! First of all, my husband is a huge music enthusiast. He has really diverse (and picky) tastes in music including jazz and classical music. I, on the other hand, love world music and classic rock. I also wanted rarely heard/sung hymns to be played at our wedding. We were not sure if there was any band that could handle our requests, not to mention be ready in such a short time. SpeechLess blew us away!! Not only did they learn and perform the hymns so so well, but they were able to cater to our eclectic music tastes!! They were professional, skillful, really stylish, and seriously top-notch musicians and singers! They were so well prepared! They were able to play different genres of music with ease and precision! Every single one of our guests had so much fun dancing. Every single one of our guests told us our wedding was the best they had been to, and the most fun!! Scott, the band leader, was also a fabulous MC for our wedding. He had a wonderful presence and was really engaging and humorous! Wonderful!
