Meghan was AMAZING to work with! She made me feel so comfortable. I’m very pleased with my experience, her communication, and the final product. Highly recommend! While she was not my photographer for my actual wedding, she helped me put together a boudoir shoot for a gift for my husband to be.

Words cannot fully express just how amazing Meghan is as a wedding photographer. When we first started planning our KC wedding remotely from another state, Meghan was there for us the whole way. She was an amazing resource and beyond supportive as we moved through the process. We witnessed first-hand her brilliance as a destination photographer when she captured our engagement photos in Palo Duro Canyon in Texas. We didn't think she could top those amazing photos until we received our wedding album! She captured our day so beautifully and made us feel so comfortable. She was also unbelievably thoughtful, making sure we took moments to step back and take in our day as a married couple. The experience of that day paired with the gorgeous photos we will cherish forever makes our decision to work with Meghan the best choice we could have ever made for our wedding. Best decision I made for my wedding was my choice of photographer. I wanted the best of the best. Photos are the one thing that remains long after memories start to fade, which is why who you choose to capture your day is so important. In fact it is one of the most crucial decision to make when it comes to planning your wedding. I can't emphasize the word quality enough. It was mind blowing how many mediocre wedding photographers are out there. It was almost disheartening when I first started looking. The composition, understanding exposure/lighting, color - all key factors to producing quality work. True story: My wedding photographer was the first vendor I hired. In fact I had my photographer before my venue. That's how important my wedding photos were to me. Meghan is the best of the best. She is a rock star at making you comfortable in front of the camera, because of it your photos will come out phenomenal. Her consistent abiility to capture emotion and tell a story through a photo is AMAZING!!!!.....to say the least. Her style is timeless. I was beyond impressed with her from start to finish. She truly loves what she does and it shows. Not to mention she will be your biggest advocate on your wedding day. I really enjoyed working with her. She was very organized, detail, oriented, and is super thoughful. My wedding photos exceeded my expectations (and those were high) Obviously, I whole heartedly recommended her. Meghan was the perfect fit for my Boudoir shoot. The moment I walked into her beautiful studio I felt comfortable. I was able to chat with Meghan while my hair and makeup was being done which really made me feel amazing during my shoot! Meghan is absolutely amazing! Her photos are beautiful and she goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. She’s literally the sweetest person ever! My husband was pretty nervous before our engagement session and she made us both feel so comfortable and at ease. It felt as if we had a best friend taking our pictures! She was extremely helpful before and on wedding day. If I was stressed out about timeline or anything planning related I could call Meghan and she would take the time to help me and make me feel so much more calm about everything. She even coached us on cutting the cake in the moment and the pictures turned out amazing. She’s amazing at giving you little tips for posing but not over posing so everything feels natural which really translates into her photos. Last but not least I want to mention her wedding albums. OMG are they beautiful! She takes time to design the picture flow and layout to make sure everything is perfect. I can’t express enough how much I love our wedding album. I cannot say enough great things about Meghan’s work. Her photos she captures are phenomenal and for a decent price. When I was looking for a photographer to hire, I wanted someone who captured light and airy, wasn’t extremely high in price, and that captured breath-taking photos. Spencer Studios checked all of those boxes. Meghan is very organized throughout the entire process and she is very helpful when it comes to your outlining your timeline for the day and other important parts of the wedding day.

I don't even know where to start. Meghan is hands down the best person we have ever had the pleasure of working with. To say my husband and I are awkward and shy is an understatement, but she made pictures FUN and you can tell in the photos! Not only did she make the process easy, she treated us like we had been best friends since the day we were born. One of the best decisions my husband and I made in wedding planning was hiring Meghan as our photographer. First and foremost she takes absolutely beautiful pictures. I look at our album often, and the quality is unmatched. The colors are exactly as I remember, and there are so many photos of little moments I didn’t even know happened! Meghan was so intentional in learning what was important to us, and that is reflected in the photos. Her gifts in developing personal relationships were also shown in how she interacted with our families and friends throughout our wedding day. Meghan was the first to offer her arm to walk my unsteady Grandma to where we were taking photos, and made her feel important and confident in that moment. My mom has commented so many times how thankful she was to have Meghan there on my wedding day. When you have someone you trust taking care of something as important as your wedding photos, you can relax and enjoy the day! I also so appreciated that Meghan made every step of the process feel special, from creating the timeline for the day to getting the beautifully packaged photo files. First, let me tell you that we planned our wedding in Kansas City from our present home in Seattle, WA. So we were very dependent on honesty, reviews and portfolios. I have had the opportunity to hire many photogs for many events over the years and Meghan Spencer is without question the best. We had a rather unusual, but wonderful venue; we were married at home plate at Kauffman Stadium. It was 6:10pm and lighting on a baseball field can be very tricky. Many shadows to contend with and a rather large content area to deal with, as the moments ticked by the huge shadow cross crossed us I was so worried it would be ruined, yet the shots were outstanding. Even sports photographers have a difficult time. I also had a private boudoir session with her - an uncomfortable situation to start with. Meghan made me look and feel beautiful my new husband very much appreciated the wedding gift. On a rush order, taken the day before the wedding. Tremendous customer service. The wedding photos were artistic, original and classic all at once. We did not do the normal package, but rather just wanted photos of the ceremony, so hired her on an hourly basis. After seeing the quality of her work and the fantastic album - I probably should have had a few of the reception (on the field and in the club). I would be hard pressed to find a more experienced, gracious and talented photographer. I trust her implicitly; her creative choices choices didn't make sense to me at the time, but the end results were fabulous. Meghan Spencer is the epitome of professionalism, skill and kindness. I believe her prices to be fair, and worth every nickel. Her post event care is also outstanding. Even 2 years later, she has been able to help me with a few projects from across the country. Without hesitation, hire this woman, she is fantastic!!

I did my boudoir shoot with Meghan and she was very professional and made me feel great! I was nervous about this kind of photo shoot but she is very good and will make you feel comfortable and have you do some great poses and you will forget your nerves. It was fun and I'd do it again!

I was so unsure of what to get my fiancé for a wedding day gift, but I was referred to Spencer Studios and thought I’d give a boudoir shoot a try. Although I was nervous at first, I am SO GLAD I went through with it! Meghan is fantastic and answered any questions I had every step of the way from booking to the shoot. She has excellent recommendations/tips/tricks to make your shoot unique and help you feel sexy & confident. The day of my shoot was a cloudy, rainy day and we took the pictures using only natural light. I was worried that would affect the turnout but I worried for nothing- They turned out SO GOOD. I received my book just the other day and I know my fiancé is gonna love it!

Meghan was really awesome to work with. She definitely goes the extra mile to get you the great shots. I wasn't aware how much a photographer needs to critically-think, but finding one that does is absolutely key. There are so many things that go in to photography, time-lines, time-line changes, lighting, inclement weather, permits, crowded shoot locations. Meghan handles it ALL with a breeze!

We couldn't have picked a better fit for our special day. Meghan was the height of professionalism while still maintaining a fun, friendly demeanor that put us both at ease. Each wedding package comes with a free engagement session which is something that I didn't see in any other studio that I researched. The final photos are a true work of art! Meghan was the absolute best choice to photograph our wedding. We shopped around a bit and compared packages, but when we had our initial consultation with her, we knew right away that we were ready to end our search and book. From initial consultation through final wedding album design, she was honest, communicative, and open to any and all questions from myself or my partner. Our wedding was a destination wedding in Colorado and she flew out for an engagement session as well as utilized connections from photographers in Colorado to find a second shooter who was also fabulous according to my husband as they spent the morning together as Meghan stayed with the bride and bridesmaids. We didn't opt for a DoC, but Meghan structured our day seamlessly to meet her needs as well as those of our videographer and take the pressure off of us in having too much to plan. Meghan, our second-shooter, and our videographer worked together nearly flawlessly (from our perspective) without prior meetings. She made sure we ate, drank water, and didn't panic throughout the stress of the day. She also asked beforehand if there are any family issues or sore spots to be aware of, and was extremely tactful and professional in dealing with those throughout the day. Prior to creating our album, she reached out and clarified what (if anything) we wouldn't want included. In the end, she extremely attentive to our thoughts and feelings as well as shooting our wedding with an artistic eye and timeless style. Most importantly, of course, our pictures are absolutely stunning and we're so thankful to have these pictures to treasure and remember our day forever. I can't wait to show the pictures to our future children and pass down memories of this wonderful day. We could not be happier with the final product. We have known Meghan for a long time, so when it came to picking a photographer for our wedding she was an obvious choice. Our wedding was in New York and she never even batted an eyelash about traveling the long distance. I chose Meghan because her photos are exactly the style I wanted in wedding photos- timeless, simple, and elegant. I also appreciated her organization, and her involvement in creating the timeline of my wedding day. Meghan really takes into consideration what you want out of your pictures. She uses the engagement session to get to know you better, which makes everything so much easier on the wedding day. She came with a plan- everything throughout the big day was smooth and extremely efficient which was great for our family and bridal party. She allotted plenty of time for my husband and I to take pictures and we are so thankful because they turned out AMAZING (seriously- this girl is TALENTED). That being said, she wasn't rigidly stuck to this plan. During the day, we asked if we could take a couple pictures in a certain room in our venue that we hadn't originally thought of, and she jumped right on it no questions asked and they are some of our favorites! I am so thankful that Meghan prides herself in capturing photos that you can hang on your walls and have in your album for a lifetime because the images truly reflect that theme. She captured every moment of the day, from details to bridal party. It was so nice to see things I wasn't able to see on the day of, especially when I spent so much time and effort planning the thing. My wedding photos are a dream, and I will forever attribute that to Meghan's efforts and talents.

Meghan (from Spencer Studios) was an integral part of our wedding day. Outside of taking photos, she stepped up and helped wrangle other vendors to keep everyone on schedule and on task when it was obvious our planners weren't fully capable of handling it. Her photos are fantastic! We had won an engagement session with another studio, and they had airbrushed our photos to a nearly unrecognizable state. Meghan took beautiful, true-to-life photos of us and our loved ones, and we will cherish them for years to come. We couldn't have done it without her! We definitely feel that our day would have been even more chaotic and difficult without her calming presence. In between events, she reminded us to relax and take a moment to just be together, so that we could really enjoy ourselves.

I did a Boudoir photo session with Meghan and it was phenomenal! It took me about a year to get the guts to finally go do it, but Meghan made it a wonderful experience. She played 90s music and let me laugh and be myself for the pictures, as i'm not the serious, sexy type, and I was amazed at how wonderful the photo book turned out! The pictures are amazing and I can't wait to see my husband's face when I give it to him this weekend as my wedding gift.

Her overall vibe and aesthetic was exactly what I was hoping to find when I started my search and she did not disappoint. Our pictures are stunning; I still get tears in my eyes every time I look at them. She not only perfectly photographed every moment of the best day of our lives, she captured the emotion and joy. She has a keen eye for detail and you can tell how passionate she is about her craft. I cannot wait to receive my album and start hanging pictures throughout my house. Meghan was a dream to work with, as well. She listened to everything I said in our initial meeting and found perfect locations for our shoots. She came prepared with adorable clear umbrellas (due to the torrential downpours in the forecast) and ponchos, which became a necessity about 3/4 of the way through our group shots. What could have put a major damper on the day turned into one of my favorite images and truly all thanks to her quick thinking & preparation! Her second shooter was wonderful to work with as well - something I would highly recommend including if you are on the fence! Always nice to have several perspectives on the key moments throughout the day. As an out-of-town bride, I had a bit more of a challenge ahead of me while planning. Spencer Studios was one of the first vendors we selected and Meghan exceeded all of our expectations for a photographer! She worked with me throughout our planning process to develop the perfect day-of timeline and any time I had a question about possible vendors, color schemes, etc, she was happy to lend an ear and offer advice! She was a calming presence all day and kept everything flowing smoothly. I am truly thankful to Meghan for all of her hard work and talent. I love all of my pictures and will cherish them forever!! I loved working with Meghan. She set the tone for the boudoir shoot by being goofy and fun. She made me feel really comfortable, and she took my lead in the amount of posing help I needed ( a lot!). I could not recommend Meghan more! She is friendly, personable, and professional. Hire her!

I had my boudoir photos taken by Meghan and they turned out amazing! She created a fun and relaxing environment that made it easy and comfortable to take the photos. Being a plus size girl, I was worried that having boudoir photos done might not be flattering in some images but I was completely wrong. Meghan truly knows how to capture the best you!
