My husband and I chose to work with Sperry Tents for our wedding at Shining Tides. There were a few different options we were considering and Sperry did a wonderful job in giving us all information ahead of time, helping us to understand our options and offering information on availability. They also seamlessly worked with both our site, caterer, decorator, and florist to ensure a perfect setup (and takedown). We were thrilled with the final product (a beautiful tent representative of the ocean that we were next to) and the fact that we barely had any involvement in making it all happen!
Jessica was a pleasure to work with at Sperry. She was always very responsive, and attentive to the many questions I had along the way, while planning our wedding. I made several updates to our rental order in the months leading up to the wedding, and Jessica was able to quickly made the changes without any issues. We highly recommend Jessica, and Sperry Tent!

We used Sperry Tents for our wedding in Kennebunkport, Maine on June 25, 2022. Emily and the team at sperry tents were professional and amazing to work with! We ordered the tent, chairs, linens and the dance floor, and everything was perfect! Delivery was prompt and seamless!!

When COVID-19 hit, we moved our wedding from 2020 to 2021. In order to provide additional precautions for our guests on wedding day, we decided to move our wedding from inside to outside. Our venue, Nonantum Resort, has a strong relationship with Sperry Tents, and now I can see why! We were put in touch with Tania from Sperry Tents. With relatively short notice before our wedding day, she was able to put together a contract for us and help us pick the best tent size and dance floor for our guest count. The twinkle lights included with the tent were so stunning and really made the reception sparkle once the sun went down. Thank you so much, Tania and the Sperry Tents team!
We used Exter for our Tent and all rentals at our southern Maine wedding and they were fabulous. We went to their showroom in NH and had the best time picking out everything we wanted. From the tent to the place settings they had endless options and everything was simply beautiful. They were a dream to work with as well. So accommodating and patient during the very many tweaks we made throughout the process. Our tent was one of my favorite things at our wedding and it would not have been as beautiful without Exeter! Exeter Events & Tents came up huge for us last minute when our tent provider (Savvy Tent Rentals) forgot to bring sides for our tent on a 38 degree night in Maine.
Our event would not have gone nearly as well without them and we owe them big time for saving the day!

We had a wonderful experience with Exeter Events & Tents for our wedding. They were extremely helpful with providing me estimates for chairs and linens. We were able to book a year out and change our chair number just a couple weeks out from our wedding. It worked perfect for us with those last minute RSVPs waiting to come in! They dropped off all the chairs and were scheduled to pick back up!
My wife and I got married at the Seacoast Science Center last month. We ordered a dance floor, chairs, tables, linens, napkins, bowls, and trash cans from Exeter. They have a lot to choose from, and the prices weren't bad. Exeter was willing to change our order when we needed to, and we got some discounts. They were amazing at setting up and breaking down what we needed, and our ceremony and reception venues looked great! The Exeter showroom is also nice.
There was some staff turnover during our planning process, and it seemed that unfortunately some paperwork and details did slip through the cracks in the transition. The first person we worked with was fantastic, knowledgeable and very responsive. The second person was less so. We made a CAD layout of what the venue/tent should look like, but then our rep sent the incorrect layout to the delivery crew. Luckily, the guys intuitively knew it wasn't right and didn't start setup until they had procured the correct one from us. We appreciated their experience working events at the SSC, and we still ended up getting what we needed and had a wonderful wedding day, which was great.
We held our wedding at my family’s home in rural NH and thanks to Exeter Events and Tents, the rentals were PERFECT. Their team was wonderful to work with from start to finish (including a tricky tent install over a basketball court) and everything looked perfect day-of. We highly recommend them and will abolsutely use them for our future needs.
We had such a good experience with this company. They are a big operation with a lot of experience that you can trust. We rented the clear tent with farm house round tables. We had so many compliments on how classy the whole set up was. Their show room is great to help get eyes on the situation. It's so easy to add and remove things from you invoice up until a week before the wedding. This made the whole experience stress free. When setting up all of the tables and chairs, we found that we were 4 chairs short. Without even asking, they drove an hour and a half to drop off four chairs and refunded the cost of those 4. This is a sign of an A class group of people. Thanks Exeter for the awesome wedding experience!
Exeter Tents swept in when another company I booked began to fall through the cracks a month before our wedding. I still cannot believe I was able to get almost everything I requested from the previous company and kept my cost nearly identical. Lynsie was amazing to work with and guided me through the booking process quickly and efficiently. I do not know what I would have done if my rentals from the other company had never shown up. Exeter Tents will be a company I recommend to anyone for any type of event! Everything was beautiful and our guests loved how gorgeous the tent and rentals were!
We had a mostly DIY wedding at Hamilton House Gardens in South Berwick, ME that required renting everything and Exeter provided our tent and rental items. We started out with a wonderful coordinator who very helpful, but she unfortunately left the company. We then got passed around to several different coordinators. It felt like we talked to a different person every time. Despite the difficult communication the tent and rental items were what we wanted.
Highly recommend!! We used Exeter Events & Tents to rent pretty much EVERYTHING for our backyard wedding in June - tent, lights, dance floor, tables, chairs, flatware, dishware, glassware, grills, etc. They were extremely responsive, answered my many many questions with no impatience at all, and had so much inventory available to choose from. We got a sailcloth tent which looked SO beautiful - our guests were commenting all night - and the cafe lights were the perfect soft lighting that set such a nice mood. Quality of everything was great, and the guys that came to set up and take down in the blazing heat were awesome as well- they work incredibly hard! All in all, great company that I would definitely use again for a future event.
We used Exeter Events & Tents for our October 2017 wedding at the York Harbor Inn in Maine. Our ceremony was at 11am in a beautiful park overlooking the ocean and we needed 100 chairs. The best thing I can say about Exeter events is that we never realized they were there! Everything was set up perfectly when the ceremony started and promptly removed when it was over. (And due to the location, there were some pretty strict timing rules and restrictions to follow). Working with them, especially as we had to make a few tweaks leading up to the day, was very easy. They are so friendly and get back to you right away with quotes and answers to your questions. We'd certainly recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough about how responsive and helpful our coordinator, Emily, was. We needed to rent all the chairs, tables, linens, dance floor, etc., for our wedding, and her familiarity with our venue was invaluable in helping us to understand what we needed and we could pass on. She responded so quickly to my calls and questions, even when our wedding was still months away. They were incredibly flexible with last-minute changes in our numbers, they communicated well with our wedding coordinator, and were overall just wonderful to work with.
We used Exeter Events & Tents for the linens and a beautiful wine barrel bar at our wedding. Their wedding and event consultant, Emily Varn, was SO helpful throughout the linen process. She gave us all the necessary information and also gave us her professional and personal opinion on various items, which was greatly appreciated. The company as a whole was easy to work with and dropped off & picked things up in a timely manner. We could not have been happier with the way the linens and wine barrel bar looked on our big day!
I used them for a 15x20 white dance floor for my wedding. They were very professional and easy to work with. They reminded us of the deadlines, and made sure to check in and make sure all of the details they had were right. They communicated easily with the venue, and delivered the product that they promised! I would recommend them to anyone!
While they were a little more expensive, it was worth it! Great customer service.
Exeter Events & Tents was an absolute dream to work with! They were able to switch the size of the tent for my wedding just two weeks before the event date. Their sail cloth tents are absolutely stunning and the lights they hung were perfect! All of the staff members I interacted with were incredibly professional and accommodating! I would recommend them to anyone!
We had a great experience renting from Exeter Events and Tents.
We had come up with a fairly complete list of what we thought we would need before meeting with them and then went up to see their showroom in person to look at their selection to finalize things. There, we met with Lauren who was very helpful in helping us choose the various design elements, such as which table linens, flatware, and china to rent, as well as helping determine the number we'd need of many of these items.
We made a few tweaks to the order as our guest list and menu were finalized and after being able to make a site visit to the venue and they were helpful in making changes and updating the contract.
They were able to drop off all of the rentals on the Friday before the party and pick them up on the Sunday after, which was the ideal scheduling for our event. Both the drop-off and pick-up went very smoothly, not requiring—their delivery people, once told where to put the various items, made quick work of it.
We'd highly recommend them for any event you're planning in the area!
Exeter Events and Tents provided just about everything we needed to pull off the perfect Wedding. Emily helped us select a beautful sailcloth tent as well as the perfect seating, linens and dance floor to compliment our venue. The delivery and set up was timely and professional with great attention to detail allowing us plenty of time to personalize prior to the event. Emily was available and patient when we made changes to our order and provided meaningful input when considering items such as fans. Our Wedding Day was exactly what we had pictured it to be thanks to their beautiful rentals.

We used Exeter Events & Tents for our outdoor wedding. They were super easy to work with and provided us with out of the ordinary options. We used cross back chairs that blew the more common fancy chairs out of the water! They delivered when they said they would and set it up exactly to plan.
Lynsie was very helpful, even with last minute changes and suggestions. They dealt with the set up, all to my specifications, as well as the clean up. Would definitely use them again.

Not sure that I recommend this company. Products are beautiful, but I have to share this-- they did not notice the glitch that we ordered 85 chairs, but they had written that we only needed 80 napkins. When they went over our final order on the phone two weeks before the wedding, we noticed and said we needed more napkins to cover all our 85 guests. They said it was too late to order more. To solve it my mom bought a set of nice napkins for just the wedding party table so we just looked a little special. The OTHER thing was that we ordered green table cloths and half of them showed up in peach!! Luckily it worked with the rest of our color scheme so I didn't freak out. (I know another bride might have flipped!) We sort of laughed it off, but I'm not sure how that happened when they packed for us!
Working with them was very easy. Their chairs, tables, and dance floor, great! I have no complains.
Exeter Events and Tents delivered exactly as promised! We needed a large tent, tables, chairs, and linens for a wedding venue which had never had a large tent before. Because we planned to set up the tables and decor ourselves, we needed the tent set up the day before, so we could do all the decorating the day-of. Exeter Events and Tents was able to co-ordinate this with us, having the tent ready for us one day and everything else delivered first thing the next morning, meeting our narrow time constraints. They also were able to meet a time request we had for take-down the day after the wedding.
Half-way through our months of planning, a new Exeter Events and Tents co-ordinator took over our event. While at first I had a moment of mother-of-the-bride/wedding-planner stress about this, the transition was seamless, and our new co-ordinator was completely in-tune with our needs. She provided advice and quick assistance to any question I had, and happily revised our contract countless times.
The wedding was out-of-state from our home, so I was only able to visit the showroom once, and never even met our ultimate co-ordinator. Regardless, she treated me like I was a well-known and valued customer!

I was very happy with Exeter Event & Tents as the tent vendor for my wedding. From the get-go Ashley and her team were so accomodating. The staff that physically put up the tent were fantastic as well. The best part about it all was how beautiful the tent looked. We had a backyard wedding at my parents home in Walpole, MA. The sailcloth tent was gorgeous- it lit up the entire property at night. All of my guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. We also had japanese lanterns that were personally placed by Ashley and she did a wonderful job. Ashley is professional, and does not push you to do anything that you don't want to do. She is very knowledgable about spacing for the tent on your property. Highly recommend everyone at EET!
Exeter did the tables, dance floor, lighting and chairs for our wedding. Even though we worked with them to plan where all the tables would be, I did have to pay the caterers to come early and move everything from where Exeter had put it to the actual places we had planned on (they left it all in the tent, just not necessarily in the right places). This was not a surprise the day of, just an additional expense.
We had a bit of a glitch because the chairs actually needed to be set up for the ceremony (about 200 ft away) - Exeter never asked me about the ceremony, so that was an oversight on both our parts.
But the lights were gorgeous, if expensive, and the quality of the linens and tables were great. Exeter was also timely, which is SO important on your wedding day! We met with them twice to discuss options, they were very patient and made all my changes correctly. Just be clear with what you need and they will make it happen.
We rented a sailcloth tent, tables, chairs, dance floor and place settings from Exeter. They worked through Alan's of Boscawen so we dealt with them very little prior to the big day. They set the tent up over our venue's tennis court and it looked so beautiful! Had absolutely no issues with this vendor, they were professional and comparable in price to other companies around the region.
I was overall very happy with Exeter Events & Tents. There staff had a very "can do" attitude when it came to my order, set up time, break down time, etc. They were flexible with what was on my order up until a couple weeks before my wedding. The one thing that became a small glitch was a promised set up time that ended up being too early for the set up crew to make. It all worked on just fine in the end, and the co. was very good about making their small error correct.
These guys got everything done in the allotted time, which was not much time at all. Nicole Mower was great, answering any questions I had throughout the planning process. She even has her own wedding planner business and does day of coordination. She was able to keep it within our budget by letting us know ahead of time what we could realistically get for our money. I was very impressed with the execution of setup at the venue as well.
It's a little pricey because everything is an additional charge. Delivery, set-up, take down, pick up...everything costs extra and it's per item not just a flat rate. Over all good just not that budget friendly

Everything was gorgeous-rented the linens and upscale chairs from them-looked great, all was in wonderful shape and once ordered-I didn't have to worry about a thing!
Exeter Events and Tents was such a relief after all the stresses of wedding planning. They were so friendly and genuinely sweet. The prices were less than what I was expecting and they dropped off/picked everything up within a handful of days so we didn't feel rushed. I felt really comfortable in their showroom and comfortable with Jessica, who was very helpful and patient. My wedding was awesome!
I used Exeter Events and Tents for all my wedding rentals. The consultants are very knowledgeable and I found them extremely helpful when it came to deciding what style and size tent I needed. They also created a layout for me which was amazing because it helped me envision my wedding.
The quality of the items are fantastic. I rented Fruitwood Chivari Chairs with White cushions and they were so beautiful! All of my glassware, flatware and dishware were also rented from Exeter and I couldn't have been happier.
