Spinelli's Function Facility

Staff was excellent, food was excellent, valet and parking made for an absolutely NIGHTMARE which may be a reason for me to never have an event here again. Our function captain was Diane. She was absolutely amazing and very accommodating. Anything and everything we needed she jumped over hoops to get us. She was wonderful!!!! We had a surprise birthday party for my mom. Guest arrival was 7:00pm which was the beginning of a parking nightmare. My mother was due to arrive at 7:30 and salads would kick off at 7:45. My wife arrived at 7:34 with my mom (guest of honor) and was not let in the parking lot. Valet had the lot closed off and was telling people to park across the street at the holiday inn and take their shuttle back. My wife explained to them that she has a car seat and she was not able to take the shuttle. They told her that they will still take her on the shuttle. It isn’t possible for them to take her car. My wife got to the holiday inn and there was NO parking in sight. She drove around for 10+ minutes looking for a parking spot. Once she found a parking spot, she walked to meet the shuttle. Mind you this is a surprise party, she bumps into her friends who were guests at the party!!! They made an excuse they were going somewhere else but she got suspicious. Many people were waiting for the shuttle but it was already on a run. She waits her turn and is told they cannot take her because of my son who is two and requires a car seat. She explained that she told the valet and they still sent her to the shuttle lot. She got in the car and went back to Spinelli’s. At this point it’s 8pm or a little after. Everything is completely jammed but they manage to squeeze her in and they take her keys. The party, although very late on our itinerary, went off without a hitch. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was amazing and all the guests were raving about it. People drank, danced, and enjoyed themselves. What happened next was the icing on the cake. Party ended, we gathered our belongings. Valet went home and told one of the staff members he left my wife’s keys in her car and it’s all the way down the other end of the lot. Isn’t that wonderful? Keys in a car, in the back of the parking lot, and they went home. A friend of mine runs down to grab the car and the doors are LOCKED! The keys weren’t able to be seen from the window. We spent 20+ minutes waiting while staff and valet tracked these keys down. We were able to get the car opened and turns out the keys were in the center which couldn’t be seen from the window. Just a complete mess!!!! They seriously need new valet and a bigger shuttle van. This thing was small!!!!!! So disgusting!!! This almost spoiled our surprise and most definitely set a sour taste in our mouths.

From the moment I got in gauge I knew immediately I wanted to have my wedding reception at Spinelli's of Lynnfield. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! From the spirling staircase, to the water fountain out front, to the gazebo over looking the water, we were able to take the most beautiful pictures throughout the evening. The food was absolutely amazing and my wedding cake that they created came out exactly how I envisioned it. Our wedding coordinator as well as all of their employees made sure that the evening was perfect, and if something went wrong, I definitely did not know about it. I cannot say enough great things about Spinelli's!

I absolutely loved everything about this venue! My husband and I had been looking at a lot of different places and at the last minute stopped into Spinelli's to check it out. We immediately fell in love. The grounds are beautiful and facility is amazing. Everything fits perfectly and its such a simple yet elegant look to it. The staircase when you enter is incredible. The staff that completely blew us away as well. We booked our wedding for Sept. 2016, but in August of this year we got some bad family news and found out that we needed to move our wedding up to November. Everyone at Spinelli's was more than willing to work with us and get our wedding moved up to a perfect date and helped us every step of the way. We only had 2 1/2 months to plan a wedding and I don't know how I would have done it without them. I spoke to Anna and Katie probably 2-3 times a week and they made this incredible overwhelming situation so much easier. They were knowledgeable and so kind. They offered advice and experiences the whole way. I had absolutely no worries or fears going into the day. I would recommend them 100 times to any one who is getting married.

I cannot rave enough about Spinelli's. My cake was everything I dreamed of and more. I was nervous as to how the cake would come out as I requested not to use any fondant as I don't really like how it tastes. It came out amazing and beyond my expectations. On top of that, it tasted so so so wonderful. I am excited to dip into the cake one year from my wedding date!

I can't even explain how happy we were with choosing Spinellis for our big day. Everything from the decor, to the food, to the amazing wait staff was amazing. Everyone was so attentive to both my husband and I as well as all of the guests. The food was absolutely delicious and people still couldn't stop talking about it weeks later. The cake!?! It was to DIE for and their bakery did an amazing job with it. We are so pleased with everything and would 100% recommend this venue for your big day too :)

I hired Spinelli's as my wedding venue as I had been so impressed with my consultation with them. They did not disappoint! Working with them through the planning was made so easy by the great office staff, who also provided great ideas whenever I was stuck and didn't quite know what to do. The day of my wedding, they assisted me in having most of my pics completed prior to the ceremony which allowed me to join my guests during cocktail hour. Throughout the night all I had to do was look at the Coordinator and she was right there to assist me. Spinell's food was phenomenal, one month later my guests are still talking about how great the food was and question me if I can get any of their recipes. Cleanup after my wedding was done in such an organized fashion and when I arrived the next day all my belongings were set aside and packed perfectly for pickup. Everything was perfect! No complaints!

When you have a huge family, a typical restaurant just won't do! So Spinelli's was a must for our rehearsal dinner. The food was amazing. And the room was stunning. They let us move our function date due to a huge snow storm that was coming in. In the end, everything was beautiful and worked out well. The price was more than reasonable, and the space was plenty big. Each person who worked the night attended to all of our guests needs and when the snow caused some people to be late, they made sure they had food ready to go when they arrived.

Spinelli's Function Facility is very pretty. They pretty much do it all. We signed up for the Eternity Package and honestly if I had it to do over I would have not picked the package and got the vendors myself instead of picking from their list. They only give you a certain dollar amount towards each vendor and the DJ is covered in full however 2 out of the 3 DJs on their list refuse to return calls from Spinelli's brides because Spinelli's doesn't pay them enough. It was really a hassle trying to get a good DJ, I was tempted to call someone not on their list and just pay for it ourselves. That being said. Spinelli's is really pretty, their food was great, their cake was delicious and it was exactly like we wanted. The design for our cake was far from what they have in their sample book and they pulled it off flawlessly. Our day of coordinator was Susan, and she was absolutely incredible. Our wait staff was also very attentive, not a single complaint from any of our guests. Another tip, do not to open bar, do hosted bar. I have some big drinkers in my side and in my husband's side the tab still ended up being half the price it would have been to do open bar.

My husband and I had an absolutely spectacular wedding day at Spinelli's. All of the staff were phenomenal including Susan, our wedding coordinator, who made sure that we didn't have to worry about a thing. The professionalism and service of the wait staff during our wedding was exceptional. The room was decorated exactly how we envisioned it. Susan and the event staff did an amazing job laying out all of our decorations including our candy buffet setup. Also, all of our guests were thrilled and raving about how delicious the food was too! We had a buffet and everything we choose was so yummy and exceeded our expectations. Our wedding cake came out exactly how we wanted! We picked a wedding white cake with raspberry mouse and jam filling. Our guests were in heaven! Although our wedding day flew by with the amount of fun and happiness involved, everything went more smoothly than I could possibly imagine thanks to the staff at Spinelli's. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any event for that matter. Class act all around!

Spinelli's made all of my wedding dreams come true. The staff was so helpful and responsive during every step of the process. They answered EVERY one of my questions - and trust me, there were a lot! The food is to die for and the staff really do cater to your needs. The night of the hall was so beautiful and every member of the staff was helpful, courteous and excited. If I have to host any type of function in the future, I will be using Spinelli's!

Spinelli's was the perfect venue for our bridal shower. Our guests are still raving about the food and the place is just gorgeous. I would highly recommend them for a bridal shower or any other function! You won't be disappointed!

We had our rehearsal dinner at our home in our backyard. We ordered all of the food and desserts from Spinelli's and it was all delicious. They don't usually heat up the food for you at the Lynnfield location, but they were able to do it for us. This made it very easy, since all we had to do was pick up the food and set it up in chafing dishes with serving utensils. It was actually very nice have our dinner at our home and it saved us a lot of money!

The facility was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. Our wedding consultant for the night and the consultant that helped us exceeded all of my expectations! This place is worth every penny. Only issue was with the bartenders being rude to my guests. BUT everything else was PERFECT.

I used this for my shower. They were awesome. The food was great. Everyone said it was the best shower!

I had my wedding June 18th, 2011 at Spinelli's in Lynnfield in the Illusions Room. It was great! The food, the staff, the room itself - all home runs! All of the guests I have asked raved about the food too, so it wasn't just my husband and I that were all about it. It was on the pricier side, but every penny was worth it!

We looked at a bunch of places on the North Shore, but Spinellis was the best. We had been to events there before, so we knew they were good. We worked with Anna to plan the event, and she was more than helpful, and didn't try to oversell us on stuff. The wedding was a month ago, and everyone is still raving about the food.

Overall it was great, the food was really good and I received many compliments even months later. The people were really accommodating and helpful. The only problem I had was the cake that day wasy not the one I had picked out.

Spinelli's did an exceptional job! They kept me updated with important milestone and decisions, were able to take my ideas and make them come true on the day off and the staff is incredibly experienced and accomodating. The food was unbelievable topping all steak houses in Boston! Our guests still can't believe how wonderful the food was and keep mentioning how "classy" the venue is. don't be fooled by its location on Rte 1 - once you are inside you feel as though you are in Italy!

I loved having my reception at Spinelli's. The staff was great, the sales people were so easy to work with and the FOOD was AMAZING! Everyone raved about the food and Spinelli's is affordably priced, it was perfect for my frugal budget. It definitely seemed we paid way more than we did!

After the wedding we received so many phone calls and compliments. The location on Route 1 isn't even a factor. Great food, great people.

My wedding was catered by Spinelli's, and it was perfect. Their staff was helpful and friendly, and the food was excellent. The prices were great.

This bakery was part of the reception hall that I booked. Very Very Very good cake! They operate on the side as well doing other sweets and can do cakes for any occasion. Can't wait to order more cakes from there!
