After visiting with the female sales representative who gave me a tour, I was told that a package would be created for me and I would get an email and call back. The next two days tried calling back and still no email. Three weeks later called again to confirm because the venue has some good features worth considering despite bad customer service . I was told to expect a call back and email that day. Now 4 weeks have passed, still no quote. I felt very rush during the tour and overall dissatisfied that no one called me back ! My very first venue so it really was disappointing that no one helped to make me feel special.
Heather was amazing and a joy to work with!! She helped make the day go off without an issue!
The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect backdrop for our dream wedding!
Our daughter was married at Spring Chateau two weeks ago. My husband and I worked with Leon and Heather. We were very pleased with the venue. It has beautiful chandeliers and they provide bartender, security, china and linens. Heather coordinated everything from our daughter’s table lay out to the ceremony and reception. She has great time management skills. It turned out to be a beautiful wedding.
The venue was nice and clean, and the structure of the buildings were beautiful. It was a great price that included food, cake, a bartender, chapel, reception hall, centerpieces, and fire works at the end. They allowed for flexibility about decor and alcohol. A lot of parking space as well.
Initial contact and tour went well. My tour was given by the manager, who I also believe was the owner. The place looked nice, but needed some cosmetic upkeep. Manager said they would be doing updates before my wedding. (I toured in February or March of 2018) Day of the wedding no updates were done, but the place was still good. However, the waterfall that was suppose to be operational was not. (Big let down)
The only real issue we had was the continuous changing staff. We worked with 3 different ppl leading up to my wedding day, and each time something in my package would change, or information wasn’t passed along.
Overall the experience was nice, but communication could have been better. The place has great potential to be amazing, but right now it is good.
In about April 2017 my wife and I visited the Spring Chateau and met with the manager Leon Wright to discuss having our wedding there. We agreed to have our wedding there and scheduled it for October 26, 2018. At that time, communications were sent by email from an employee named Gabby. Gabby informed us that our wedding rehearsal would be scheduled for the Thursday prior to the wedding at 6pm.
Since our wedding rehearsal was during the week, members of our bridal party had to request off of work early and fly in early from different states. My wife’s 92 and 86-year-old grandparents also flew in from Denver to make it to the rehearsal. In addition to that, we had to pay to have vendors attend the rehearsal.
When we arrived at the venue, the gates were locked and there was nobody there. We called the Spring Chateau and left voicemails but there was no response. We even sent emails. There was another family also waiting who said that their rehearsal was scheduled for 6 pm in the chapel (which is where our rehearsal was as well- they double booked us). The next day we were hoping to receive a call and at least an apology from the Spring Chateau but they did not reach out to us. I called and spoke to a new employee names Elizabeth who stated that Leon was busy at the moment. My wife and I went to the venue in the afternoon and spoke with Leon. Leon already knew about the issue because the other family had already contacted him (which made me upset that he did not reach out to us). My wife and I were very upset because we were a day prior to our wedding without a wedding rehearsal and all Leon kept saying was that Gabby no longer worked there and he knew nothing about the rehearsal. We explained that that was an unacceptable excuse and that regardless of who works there, they were aware that we were having a wedding and had not had a rehearsal.
Long story short, I requested a refund for the rehearsal, vendor fees, and for an additional table I’d added for the reception. Leon agreed to refund us $325.00. I asked him to put the agreement in writing and he wrote a promissory note that he would refund the money a week after the wedding. In addition, Leon stated that we could come to the venue early to get ready and use the chapel. Weeks after the wedding we did not receive a refund so we reached out to the Spring Chateau. It took about two weeks to get a definite response. A new employee (apparently Elizabeth no longer works there) emailed stating that we owed the Spring Chateau $480.00 for coming to the venue early and cake plates and forks. I spoke with Leon who became loud with me and argumentative. Leon lied and stated that we did not have permission to enter the chapel or the reception area. He also lied in saying that the venue provided cake plates and forks (we have proof that we provided our own). I reminded him that he told us that we could come early and that his employee also helped us set things up while we were there. Leon also accused us of having a full rehearsal in the chapel which was also untrue. We were robbed of a full rehearsal which had a negative impact on our ceremony. I also pointed out to Leon that none of these charges were presented to us until after we requested our refund (almost two months after the wedding).
The staff, venue & ambiance was abosolutely amazing!!!
Very beautiful venue...inside and out...very beautiful! I love the staff, they are very helpful and sensitive to your needs in helping your vision and dream wedding come to pass! Our Family is super exicted about my neice's upcoming wedding on Sept. 2! I would recommend the Spring Chateau to anybody that doesnt want to do anything but showup!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
They really work with you trying to meet your expectations according to your budget. Cake, food and decoration was great. Gabriela at the office did an excellent job concerning decoration, suggesting ideas that would meet my needs, listening to all my request and following them to the end so everything could be as planned. Thank you to David and Gabriela for doing my wedding a memorable day for us and our guests.
David and his staff were very professional, patient and easy to work with. They rushed to make changes at my request on the day of the wedding which made it exactly what I wanted in the chapel as well as the Venue.
I would recommend them to family and friends.
Best Time Ever, Staff was a Excellent.
I attended and helped planning my niece's Quinceañeara at the Spring Chateau on 10/22/16 and could not have been happier with our experience. To start with, David is the best coordinator we could ever ask for. We only met him once as our work schedule is really tight. So we communicated mostly through emails and phone calls and he was always there to respond all the questions in a timely manner. He gave me and my sister good advice on planning and made sure all our concerns were addressed. He put us at ease as We could see how professional and organized He was handling things. At the Quince day, everything was so perfect that we didn’t have to worry about anything and could 100% relax and enjoy . It was such a pleasure to work with David & Mr. Leon, always friendly, caring, understanding, and always calm .
The venue’s style and atmosphere is AMAZING. We fell in love with its architectural style at first sight, its outdoor ambiance, the Gazebo and Waterfall. So we decided this would be our princess' venue (we booked a year ahead). The venue looks so beautiful inside and outside, which made our photos look even more gorgeous.. The food was wonderful and the staff were professional. Our guests had a great time at our party. And the fireworks at the end made it even better! It’s been a month and people are still talking how awesome everything was. We want to thank all the staff at The Spring Chateau for your hard work to make our princess special day incredible and unforgettable. We are forever grateful!
It was a worst wedding experienced. While I signed a contract that detailed my wedding package with them, I felt after I signed they never remember what I signed for, you yourself have to call them to get you schedule for the food tasting, table set up and rehearsal. On the day of the rehearsal the officiant was not notified and it feels like they have no any idea that i have a rehearsal on that night. I was so upset about it and told them that o felt like i've neglected and i have to always inform them that they supposed to do it."Gabby" one of their makes me feel better that night she acts like an officiant just to have our rehearsal happened. She also said the she is available on the day of my wedding and just give her my program on my wedding, on my wedding day "Gabby" is not working on that day. on the night of rehearsal David made plans of chair arrangements and i also requested a table to set up our unity candle, everything seem ok on that night. An hour left before the ceremony there is still no table set up, my groom and bridesmaids are looking for David or anyone who can help us set up the table, but they found nobody, instead my bridesmaid just look for something else to set up the candles. We've missed a lot of photos during our preparations because we cannot get complete, my groom and bridesmaids are out looking for personnels that are nowhere to be found. I also informed David that im gonna have a champagne fountain, when we got the the reception champagne fountain was not set up, bartenders saying they will not set it up because they were not informed, of course again we have to find or wait for David to show up to set it up. We are not done with our speech and toss but the waitresses already cleaned up the table and left no glasses for the guess for a champagne toss. I was a very disappointing and frustrating experienced with them. Its a waste of money, it ruins my wedding dream.
Great venue! Do not be put off by the location. You get so much for your money here. Beautiful chapel, gazebo and reception hall. Lots of options at this one venue. Food is delicious! Not like the normal bland catering food. Our guests loved it! Customer service was very good. Fireworks included in wedding package. Our wedding was wonderful thanks to Spring Chateau!
I attended a wedding at Spring Chateau in August 2014. Overall it was a lovely event and the fireworks at the end of the reception was a perfect ending (although I could not help to feel it is an excellent way to get guests out of the building to met their, “you must be out by 10p.m.” dead line.)
There were issues. I found Janie to be extremely rude. Which I could not understand. A wedding is one of the happiest day in our lives, why would this women be so unpleasant. I was in the reception area, headed to the cottage to visit the bride. Janie was EXTREMELY rude and told me I could not exit through the door closest to the cottage but had to exit the opposite door. She had put a chair in front of the closed door which was later removed. I thought this was childish and uncalled for and I questioned her reasoning. She was also rude to the outside caterer and extremely rude to the brides mother.
The brides mother had requested front row chairs in the Chapel to be removed to allow more room for the bridal party. They were moved to the Chapel restrooms, making the women’s room unuseable. I had to move fifteen to twenty chairs to gain access, besides the fact it looked extremely unprofessional and like a storage room. The chairs were also in the mens restroom. Making the restroom unuseable, grandparents and guests would have to exit the Chapel and locate the restrooms in the reception building. Totally unacceptable.
The Cottage where the bride and bridesmaids dressed was extremely hot. Actually the only area that had adequate air conditioning was the Chapel, except for the area where the bride enters from behind closed doors. For an August wedding, not acceptable. The groom and groomsmen dressed in rooms off the reception area, also not adequately air conditioned.
This is minor. The photo booth was fun but the accessories you put on for the pictures looked like they had seen better days and there could of been a better selection.
Like I said, overall it was a lovely wedding. The grounds are very nice, although I don’t believe the outside waterfall was ever turned on.
Would I consider booking a wedding for a family member at Spring Chateau? Not if I had to deal with Janie. And the air conditioning issue was resolved. (I understand a wedding was held during the winter and the building was so cold guests left early). Like most businesses, everyone is super nice till they get your money in hand, then the true personality shines.
Overall my experience was very nice!!!Mr. David and Jennifer was very helpful and accommadated all of my needs up until the very last minute. The only issue that I might have is that you have to be very careful who you let represent your business. One of the young ladies was always very rude and not helpful at all! Everyone else was very professional at all times and relieved a lot of stress from the bride. Thank you so much Spring Chateau for making my day a night to remember!!!
This place was amazing. We still have our friend and family talking about the how breath taking and amazing the venue, food and staff were. I worked along side with David Gunter who TURLY AMAZING. He helped me every step of the way and always took my mind off the stress of planning my wedding. I was worried that my I would be missing things the day of and concerned that I would not fall into place as I wanted it to. But David always was there to reassure me that things were going to be ok and that I was in good hands. As the day approached I was more and more nervous and I felt that I was turning into BRIDEZILLA. I was so glad that I was able to meet David and have him by my side to guide me in the right direction with my vendors and decorations. Everything David said he was going to do he did and he always came through for me. I did everything there from getting ready to they reception. We received everything that we wanted and then some. The food from T&M was amazing and so delicious. We had brought home what was left but needless to say it was gone by the time we made it back to our house from the wedding that night. We have friends who said the got up for seconds and took pictures of the food cause it was soooo good. I loved my wedding day and I loved my venue and the great turnout from everything.
The venue was pretty and it was nice having everything ready when I showed up. The communications were a little lacking but I only had the chapel , I assume you get more service with a full venue rental.
It was so nice. It was organized ,clean friendly and beautiful.
We had our ceremony in the gazebo & reception in the Spring Chateau hall on 11/11/11. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the price was very reasonable! We did a package for 100 guests which included 1hr ceremony, 4hr reception, reception decorations (linens, tables, chairs, china, napkins) & the cottage (for me & my bridesmaids to get ready) for $3200. Our caterer, Tony (from T&M Catering), did an amazing job! And his prices were awesome too (only $11 per person which included beverage, entree, 2 sides, dinner roll)....especially for the quality of the food! I still have guests talking about how good the food was. I was glad we had some left over...we ate it the next day and it was still freakin' delicious! Willie, the bartender, was also great! He talked with me several times over the phone and was extremely helpful in figuring out how much of everything to buy - he knows his stuff! We used Kakes by Kathy and she worked with me to help figure out the cake decorations and the best way to put our custom cake toppers on the cakes (we had 1.5 pound toppers). She was fabulous and extremely professional. And, last but not least, Janie was on top of everything the day of my wedding. I would highly recommend hiring her for the day of (and she only charges somewhere near $250 which is a steal!).
Wonderful place to have a wedding! We just had ours on Friday and it was absolutely amazing! Everything ran very smoothly and the staff was very helpful!!
Thank you so much Spring Chateau!!!
This is a great place to have a wedding, family and class reunion, etc. You can get an all inclusive package with the food, decorations, cordinator, table, chairs, bus boys and all. The owner and workers were great. They didn't mind helping us or giving us what we needed. The scenery is beautiful and on top of that they have cabins were you can stay. They have different prices/packages that can fit your budget. Just give them call!
I could not have picked a better venue for our reception to be at. It was beautiful! The only thing that I did not like that much is that when we were planning stuff and had to go meet with the staff, some of the staff were kind of rude but improved over time and sometimes what one staff member told us did not match what another told us. My reception turned out great and my guests talked about how beautiful our reception was!
I had my wedding and reception at the Spring Chateau last month and it was absolutely great. Janie was my wedding coordinator and she was amazing. She helped the night run so smoothly. Everything turned out so beautiful. My family rented one of the on site cabins for the night and that is where I got ready before the ceremony. The rooms were a nice size and my bridesmaids and I had so much fun before everything got started. The reception was even more beautiful than I imagined it would be. I am so happy with my decision to have my wedding at the Spring Chateau.
Spring Chateau was wonderful when it came to putting everything together for my wedding. They assigned us a wedding coordinator and she was awsome and very helpful in the months before and the day of. Our package we booked included the chapel for our ceremony, the madison square reception building, our food, brides cake, all linens, artificial flower centerpiece of my choice, ten tables each with ten chairs, bride and groom table, bridal party table, a margarita machine with mix no alcohol, fireworks at the end of the reception, and a cottage two hours before the wedding for the bridal party. They really gave us a good deal especially for our date, 10-10-10. Janie was wonderful the entire day of the wedding nothing major went wrong she kept up what was where and when we did what was coming next and I could not have asked for anyone better. The only thing I was disapointed in was the fact that it wasnt dark when we left our recption at 7p.m so we did not get any fireworks, totally not their fault though. All I can say is that I highly reccomend them for weddings or even other events!
I loved the place and cordinator everything was great just alot of things needed to be more organized for the flow of reception. Alot of little things
I loved the locations. The room was absolutely gorgeous for my reception, there were a few glitches, no one from the facility was there for the wedding unless you pay them extra. The cater, Tony, was great. We had Chicken Florentine with a cream mushroom sauce, green beans, and garlic red potatoes, and a cesar salad. Lets just say I got so many great compliments about the food alone. To top off the night as we left, the let off FIREWORKS!!! I would recommend to anyone!
August 2010 bride
I had my wedding in the chapel and my reception in the Madison Square. They provided a package deal that was well worth it and everything went off without a hitch. The wedding coordinator, Janie Lopez, did an outstanding job to make my day just perfect. Everyone there was very friendly and easy to work with. Too bad I will not be getting married again, because I would use them all over again!
It was close and could fit the number of people we had coming to the wedding.;The management is shady. They say they will do something or something is included and change their mind. MAKE THEM PUT IT IN WRITING AND PHOTOCOPY IT!!
