Whew-where do i begin? Having Stephanie as our wedding planner was the first and best decision I made in the wedding planning process. Im the MOB and was working with Stephanie to plan the wedding while residing in another state. Thank goodness for her!!Total attention to detail, a visionary with creative ideas, calm demeanor, great suggestions, attention to detail, quick responsiveness....I could go on and on. Truly the epitome of wedding planning perfection. Simply the best!

She worked very closely with my mom and I throughout every aspect of the wedding, was so attentive to every detail and provided such calmness throughout the wedding planning process. We cannot thank Stephanie at SRS events enough for helping us plan the most beautiful wedding and best day of our lives! When we began planning our DC wedding, we were living in Hawaii and had no idea where to start - both working busy jobs & not going into planning with a vision of what we wanted. Stephanie was organized, thoughtful and punctual from the beginning, all while navigating our 6 hour time zone difference as well as planning during the height of COVID uncertainty. She made the whole process stress free which allowed us to relax and enjoy every party of our engagement and wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie and SRS Events. From the beginning, I loved how she got to know us and what we were looking for in our day, it felt personal from the start. She made the entire process so easy--including all the prep work in advance, managing the entire team of vendors, all the way though to the wedding day itself. Our day was perfect, and felt completely seamless, so if anything went wrong behind the scenes, we had no idea! We were also so appreciative of how gracious she was with helping us reschedule due to COVID (twice!). She helped alleviate so much stress at that time, and was an absolute life-saver in handling all the added work that came with that. Stephanie was so amazing in helping us make decisions, giving us helpful suggestions on things we didn't even know we needed, and was incredibly responsive throughout. She was also great at sending us reminders about when we should be taking care of different aspects, so we never felt rushed as the final date neared. To top that all off, she had a baby during this process, and communicated with us early so even when she was taking time to be with her family, we never felt alone. I would highly recommend Stephanie to absolutely everyone!

Stephanie went above and beyond for our wedding! Just one of many examples - there was a music festival a block away from our venue which we found out when we could hear music blasting one hour before our ceremony. Stephanie literally walked over to the music festival and asked the people in charge to pause it for our ceremony...and they did! In the months leading up to our wedding, we sent her so many emails with question after question and we very much relied on her for choosing all of our vendors. The day of our wedding was so meticulously planned out that we didn't have to worry about anything. Without a doubt, hiring Stephanie was the best decision we made in planning our wedding.

We recently had our wedding in Georgetown, DC. Stephanie, our wedding planner, was truly incredible. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic and Stephanie helped make the process seamless. When we finally did have our wedding two years after we started working with her, the event was magical and better than I could have ever envisioned. I loved every second of my wedding day and still smile just thinking about it. None of this could have been possible without Stephanie and her team! She is very responsive by email, timely and reliable with deadlines, and has connections throughout DC to make sure that you assemble a star-studded team of vendors. Not a single detail was missed. We hired Stephanie as a partial planner for our wedding in August 2021 and we couldn’t have done it without her. I wasn’t sure what I wanted or envisioned when we started, so it was great having her help make decisions. She was easy to work with throughout the process, from choosing vendors, to putting together the design and decor. She also helped us navigate covid - including unpredictable restrictions in Washington, DC. On the day of, everything came together perfectly and ran so smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. We’ve gotten so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and fun the wedding was!

Stephanie and her team were absolutely incredible - I can't strongly recommend her enough! My now-husband and I had no idea how to even start with wedding planning, and Stephanie made it easy for us and took so much wedding planning stress away - I couldn't have done it without her. She was so fabulous as we navigated changing our wedding date, selecting vendors, and especially during the weeks leading up to our wedding coordinating all of the details. SRS events went above and beyond in every aspect! We feel so lucky to have Stephanie and her team on our wedding team. Stephanie and her team were so incredibly helpful and our only regret is not hiring SRS events sooner! She helped us every step of the way as we navigated the challenges of planning a wedding during a pandemic. Two weeks before our wedding date, we had to scramble to find a new reception venue because of the new COVID gathering restrictions in DC. Stephanie found us the perfect replacement venue that fulfilled all of our requirements. She coordinated with all of our vendors and helped us find last minute catering. She even helped arrange transportation for all of our guests. We literally could not have pulled off the wedding without them. Stephanie and her team are professional, capable, friendly, easy to communicate with, and detail-oriented. They are so on top of everything, and no detail was overlooked. The week leading up to the wedding, she made us a 10 page detailed wedding day schedule. On the wedding day, Stephanie and her team took care of EVERYTHING. The wedding day flowed seamlessly. I was able to fully enjoy the wedding day all thanks to SRS events. My husband and I, and our family and friends are so impressed with SRS events. We wholeheartedly recommend them!

Stephanie and her team deserve all the compliments I received from my guests. I knew nothing about wedding and wedding planning so she literally explained and walked me through from A to Z. That being said, she is very reachable, easy to work with, and knows how to accommodate. Also, when things went unexpectedly, she knew who to talk to, how to adjust, and gave me a few backup plans, which made me stress-free. And her sweet personality and calming voice were a plus!! As for design, I have to admit that I am very picky with quality and taste, but Stephanie made my special day a very romantic, sophisticated, flawless night. I got so many compliments about how beautiful my wedding was and well-planned. She created a 5-page day-of timeline for me and this tells how much she pays attention to details. She reminded me constantly what I was missing and what to do, which helped me a lot as my husband and I had crazy work schedules. I simply cannot imagine myself planning without Stephanie and sincerely appreciate all the work Stephanie, Megan and Michelle did for us! I strongly recommend SRS events!

Stephanie has been a true lifesaver for my fiance and I in helping us to plan every detail of our dream wedding, and then helping us reschedule due to COVID. She made the wedding planning decisions super easy and took away any stress or nerves I ever felt in regards to planning. I would be lost without her! There are simply not enough words to give Stephanie all of the praise she deserves. It’s been three months since our November wedding and we are still just so blown away by absolutely everything Stephanie was able to accomplish. As someone who is extremely organized and good at project management, I figured I’d easily be able to pull off planning and executing an elegant wedding. However, after being engaged for a full year, my then fiancé and I had made no progress planning our wedding. I didn’t have a dream day planned, and hadn’t given much thought to what I wanted my wedding to be like, leaving me completely lost on the planning process. That’s when we turned to Stephanie. I didn’t have a gown style in mind, didn’t know what type of a venue I saw myself getting married in, much less had any idea of how to answer the seemingly endless number of decisions to be made: Napkin fold? Charger or no charger? Matte or satin paper? Formal addressing? How long should the reception last? How much time should be in between the ceremony and the reception? The list goes on and on. I also knew I wasn’t a typical pink and pastel bride. After our first meeting, and after reviewing some of her work, Stephanie assured me she would help us achieve a wedding that reflected our styles. She did exactly that. She was easy to work with, prompt via email, and never too busy to hop on a call. Most importantly, Stephanie made sure we kept on schedule, and helped me properly prioritize the decisions we needed to make while guiding me towards the best, most practical choices. She was respectful of our budget and also went out of her way to find unique details that would appeal to me. Where do I begin? Stephanie was nothing short of my wedding planning ANGEL! I started the planning process on my own and quickly became overwhelmed. My Pinterest board, rather than being helpful, was quickly pulling me into an abyss of chaos- did I want blue, no I think neutrals. Do I want modern and edgy but oh, look at this vintage glam, but wait, boho! I had so many ideas but no clue how to organize and execute. And then along came Stephanie. From the moment I reached out it felt like we were already friends! Her energy, optimism, and positivity is palpable! After our first phone call she was able to pull my wedding day vision out of me! The next day I had a vision board and she nailed it! She was there every step of the way, calming my nerves, keeping me and all of my vendors organized, and being the glue that held everything together. She connected us with the most amazing DREAM TEAM of vendors, recommending those she has worked with in the past, that she knew and trusted would do an amazing job. She managed contracts, communication, and seemed to always be a step ahead. And she was SO responsive- text, phone call, email, she always replied quickly. My husband and I say that there is no way we could have done this without her. She alleviated so much stress and truly allowed us to enjoy the planning process and more importantly, have a stress-free MAGICAL wedding day. Stephanie's professionalism, creativity, and passion is unmatched. We're eternally grateful and can honestly say she is the best decision we made! A thousand thank you's wouldn't be enough. Hiring SRS Events, and more specifically Ellen, was the best decision we made for our wedding. We had her help with the last month when things were especially hectic (and my work schedule was crazy) and she made everything so easy for us. She brought our vision to life better than we ever could have envisioned and made sure that everyone had a fabulous time. I cannot thank her enough!!

Stephanie is nothing short of a godsend when it comes to weddings. More than once I emailed her saying she was saving my life. I hired her as a day of coordinator, and I can’t sing praises to her enough. By the month before my wedding I was exhausted, stressed, and just tired of planning. I was panicked I would forget a small detail (who knew charger plates weren’t included??) or that I would make an error on timing for transportation, etc, the list could truly go on. Stephanie not only calmed every possible nerve, but she made our wedding day completely stress free. She came early and helped set up the reception room, and when we walked in it was beyond all expectations. She coordinated every vendor, confirmed every detail, and asked questions I would have never thought of without her. She even returned a rented cake stand for us, taking one major post-wedding to-do off our plate. She was available to me constantly – even before our official 1 month out contract started she was willing to answer completely crazy bride questions, and she made me feel so at ease before I even got to meet her in person. A few weeks before the wedding, she attended a final walk through with me and made sure every single detail was covered. We talked on the phone about general timeline details, and she made a timeline detailing every 10 minutes of the wedding day. Because of this, not only was I more comfortable, but our wedding party and parents all knew what was going on and where they needed to be without me having to lift a finger. She even made a full timeline, and a wedding party specific timeline to help highlight the most important pieces of information. I would not have survived without her. We had the most amazing wedding day, and I can say wholeheartedly that it is because of Stephanie. Full disclosure – writing this brought on tears just thinking about how thankful I am for her! You will not regret working with Stephanie. It was the best wedding decision we made, without a single doubt.

Stephanie guided me beautifully through every aspect of my daughter's wedding. Her calm presence was extremely helpful as we worked through the immense amount of details that made a fabulous event. I would recommend her highly to anyone who is looking for a fabulous a planner.

I'm writing this only a couple days from our wedding but that is how much we are just so grateful for Stephanie. We did partial planning and it was the best thing for us. She made the planning process stress free. She has this soothing calmness about her but with that is this type A efficiency, organization, get it together attitude that will make your wedding epic and is the perfect balance. She is amazing amazing amazing you will not regret it EVER if you hire her. Our guests and vendors were talking about how awesome she was. I simply can't say enough amazing things about Stephanie and how wonderful it was to work with her for a year as we planned our wedding. From the very beginning, she not only understood our vision for the wedding, but made it so much better!! Stephanie's creativity, talent, passion, ideas, energy, and overall vibes are everything you want in a planner. She made our day even better than we could've imagined. With Stephanie, we never had to worry about a single thing and when the wedding day arrived, we all were able to really enjoy the day knowing that she would take care of every last detail. Oh wow, I could write a book about how wonderful Stephanie is and I'm genuinely so sad our time together is over already! I really thought I could manage wedding planning on my own but January hit and I realized I needed help desperately. I scoured planners tirelessly to find someone who had the right style and cost, Stephanie was the perfect fit. Her work is sooo versatile, she can do classy, boho, vintage, rustic, elegant, you name it. And the cost was unbelievably reasonable for the quality of work she does. She stepped in four months out from my wedding and took on everything like Superwoman- contracts, communication with vendors, reaching out to the ones I still needed. She was SO responsive and organized, always on top of things. I was struggling with transportation and she knocked it out easily for me in one day. She handled so much, it was a huge weight of my shoulders the final weeks before the big day. She picked the perfect furniture rentals for my boho style, laidback wedding and worked with all of the vendors I had already hired to complete my vision. She had some amazing ideas along the way that I never would have thought of myself and I'm so grateful for her creativity! She's also more than willing to take on the challenges that come with planning, like frustrating last minute changes from the venue staff. Best attitude ever, always positive and optimistic, gets you even more excited for the wedding, which I didn't think was possible. The day of, she was again so wonderful, going above and beyond her duties, running gifts back and forth between the bridesmaids and groomsmen in pouring rain. The day after the wedding, she hand delivered my bouquet to the flower preservation company, saving my mom a long trip. She is so wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend hiring Stephanie. She is truly a lifesaver and your wedding will be 100 times more magical for it.

As Mother of the bride I have to write this review! Stephanie was absolutely amazing in every way as she helped my daughter prepare for her wedding day. Not only was she amazing for my daughter but whenever I had a question or concern she immediately responded and if she couldn't answer immediately she let me know and got back to me before I could even blink. She is reliable, dependable, efficient, on time, thorough, caring, kind and sweet as she can be! The day was flawless and she kept to the timeline, which was so helpful! She packed all our stuff up at the end of the night and not one item was missing, she even delivered the bouquet to the home where it was being preserved. She goes above and beyond and no detail was left undone. Of course her main concern is the bride but she truly was there for everyone and made my daughter's day just perfect! We can't thank her enough, she's a treasure!

Hiring Stephanie from SRS was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I worked four jobs at the time and I honestly didn't know how I was going to plan my wedding, but with Stephanie it was a breeze! She had the best recommendations for vendors to go with my budget and she always kept us on schedule. Not only is she professional but she is a sweetheart who really had my best interests in mind. Stephanie is a fantastic planner with an eye for detail. She and her team were a great addition to perfect our wedding. She made sure the event ran smoothly and took care of any problems that showed up during the day. We loved the fact that she carried a sewing kit in her bag of goodies, that helped a lot with the bride's dress when one of the straps came off.

To this day we continue to receive many compliments on how amazing our wedding was. We’ve even had other married couples tell us that if they’d do it again, they would want it to be the same as ours. The credit for all of this goes to Stephanie and SRS Events. We were overwhelmed with having to juggle planning the wedding and work; and we didn’t know any vendors nor venues. The best decision we made was hiring Stephanie since the beginning (around 9 months before the wedding). Since the first meeting we were immediately relieved. She guided us through the whole process with very detailed timelines and budget milestones. The wedding was amazing; my wife and I were able to focus on the important part…enjoying the day and having fun with our guests. We left everything else in Stephanie’s hands and not only was it beautiful; but it was also flawless. All her vendors were so great to work with and very accommodating. Our wedding day will forever remain as such a unique and cherishing day in our memories and in those of our guests; and we owe this to Stephanie. Stephanie and her assistant were an absolute asset to my wedding day! My wedding included a ceremony offsite and coordination of a variety of vendors and timing logistics. Stephanie created and executed the entire timeline and reception setup perfectly and seamlessly. She really helped keep me at ease throughout the entire day and don’t know what we would have done without her!

SRS was a serious life saver for me! Stephanie swooped in during the last month of planning, as I had done a lot of planning in advance, and tied up all the loose ends, arranged all the deliveries for me, coordinated phone calls, and was basically the wedding expert I needed. She's sweet, professional, and very pleasant to work with. I had a number of hiccups I was dealing with, and knowing I had her in my corner made my stress level so much lower. My husband initially scoffed at spending money on a wedding coordinator when I'm a pretty organized person (and do a fair amount of logistical planning for work), but was extremely thankful for everything she and her team did.

Stephanie was great. I hired her for the month of and she figured out our timeline, checked in with vendors, and most importantly, made sure everything went smoothly day-of. I didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything. She was super responsive and helpful and the day went off without a hitch!

Sara was great and very helpful. We hired SRS Events as our day-of-coordinator and had Sara for our wedding day. Sara was very sweet and wonderful to work with. Sara was able to help us finalize our timeline and take some of the stress of of us. She came to our rehearsal (1 hour) and afterwards took a lot of our decor items so she could drop them off at the venue to following day. She and her assistant were great in helping to make sure our day ran smoothly and that we had nothing to worry about. We were anticipating rain at our September wedding due to a hurricane, Sara kept on top of weather reports and checked it hourly throughout the day. 2 hours before the ceremony she told us we would be able to have our outdoor wedding and we were so excited. She organized having all the chairs and decorations set up in the outdoor space and everything went off without a hitch! At the end of the night she also loaded our cars with all the decor, leftovers, gifts, and flowers so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She even gave us a card afterwards which was very thoughtful. We would definitely recommend SRS Events for your day of needs. We did our planning ourselves so we did not use SRS Event for full wedding planner services but I have no doubt that they would be equally as good for that as they were with us for just the month leading up to our wedding and the day of.

Stephanie was fantastic to work with!! We hired her for partial planning and loved working with her to plan our dream wedding day! She uses this great wedding planning software that is very helpful for staying on track, and is extremely quick to respond to emails! All of our vendors were amazing and she and her team were making sure everything went off perfectly on our big day from the ceremony to reception!! Highly recommend!!! Thank you Stephanie!

Stephanie and her team were by far one of the best decisions we made with wedding vendors! We were not sure we wanted to even hire a DOC, but now we wish we had just hired her as our full time wedding planner! Our day would not have been nearly as stress free or beautiful/fun without her. She not only took care of last minute changes (hello drape change at 6AM on the wedding day) but she juggled 10 different vendor teams and a lot of personalities. Outside of all of the amazing work she did, she is also someone you would want to just hang out and get drinks with! She is so warm and welcoming, and she really makes you feel like your wedding day experience is her number one priority. If you have any doubts just hire SRS, you won't be sorry.

Sara was such a great woman to work with, always asked if we needed anything throughout the entire day, kept us on schedule, and helped keep people in line when they needed it. Really showed how important our happiness was throughout the day and really made us feel taken care of. She anticipated our needs before we even knew them. Well prepared and ready to take on any setbacks with a smile on her face. Never thought we personally needed a planner and we only got one due to our venue requiring one, but after seeing Sara work and how helpful she truly was, I have no idea how anyone could have a wedding without a girl like Sara running it. Highly recommend. We are super organized people and she still helped out immensely with preparation, running of event, executing details, and fast breakdown. She was even there for us the day after the wedding when something had been lost. Go with her for sure!

Stephanie was amazing!!! We worked with her for over a year to plan our wedding (which took place at my Parent's house in their backyard) and she made our absolutely DREAM WEDDING happen!! All of the vendors she found for us from band to florist to photographer to caterer were perfect and truly I had been dreaming and thinking of my wedding since I was about 5 and it 10000% surpassed my expectations!!! Stephanie from SRS Events is the most amazing wedding coordinator. I hired her for day of/month of coordination, but Stephanie went way beyond that. From organizing walk-throughs of the site, coordinating the rehearsal, to working with ALL my various vendors, Stephanie went well above the call of duty. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and that all of the little things (and big things) were taken care of. Because of her, there was little to no stress for me on my wedding day! I can't say enough great things about SRS Events and Ellen Head! When we initially reached out to SRS Events to inquire about their services, Stephanie was honest with us about the best package given our budget and circumstances. I was going through my first year of law school while my now-husband and I were planning our wedding. We selected the month-of plan and it was totally worth it! When we first consulted with Ellen a month before the wedding, she was so kind and understanding. She had several great suggestions and working with her long-distance was super easy, as we live in Boston, MA. Ellen was on top of her game and kept us up to speed about anything that we still needed to do in preparation for our big day. Ellen was easy to work with, flexible, and responsive to all of our questions/concerns. She was also great in managing our crazy and rambunctious wedding party (which was no easy task!). Because we don't live in Virginia, we weren't able to visit our venues before booking which made settling on decoration ideas a little difficult. We ended up making most of our decorations - everything from the flowers to the centerpieces - and eventually had everything together the night before the wedding. Ellen was willing to collect the decorations from us that night. She and her staff (Sara & Kayla) got to the venues early (like, 8:00a early because our ceremony was at 11:30a) to set up for us and it was AMAZING! We never had anything specific in mind for most of our decorations, but the girls put everything together perfectly! I couldn't have been happier! We received so many compliments about Ellen and her team - our wedding party loved her! I would absolutely recommend SRS Events, especially Ellen, to any bride and groom looking for a fantastic wedding planner.

I am so incredibly grateful for everything SRS Events did to make my wedding absolutely perfect. We hired SRS Events about two months out from our wedding to take advantage of their month and day of planning package. Ellen was INCREDIBLE. She was very knowledgeable about our venue and was familiar with most of our vendors. She was very quick to respond. She made coordinating easy by simply having us 'cc her on everything to keep her in the loop. She kept us organized, on time, and calm for the whole day and our rehearsal. She dealt with every little issue as it came up, and allowed me, my family, and all my guests to enjoy the most perfect wedding day! Ellen made set up and clean up a breeze and made sure all my vendors knew what to do and where to be. I don't know what we would have done without Ellen. I seriously needed some deodorant right before the ceremony and her assistant just whipped some out of her bag to save the day! I have to say, having Stephanie as our month of coordinator, helped us out immensely. It was probably the smartest thing we have done for our sanity, and for smooth sailing that we did hired her. Honestly, I'm not sure where to begin to review Stephanie. From day one, she was completely committed to both making our vision a reality, and to accommodating our crazy schedules. Stephanie & her team at SRS are wonderful! My wedding day went perfectly and all of the planning leading up to it help calm my nerves and left me confident my day would go smoothly! I would have never survived without Stephanie. I cannot sing her praises enough. She was ever so responsive and took my fears and concerns into consideration with every email I sent her…and I sent a ton. My husband thought if there was a reasonable email limit in the contract I would have exceeded it within the first month. I never had to wait long for a response and Stephanie brought great ideas and suggestions to the entire process. She also had fantastic vendor suggestions that helped greatly. For our wedding at The Barns at Hamilton Station in June, we had many different elements to coordinate on-site - from vendor delivery and set-up to the DIY table settings and decor. As our day-of coordinator, Stephanie took on many of these responsibilities on-site our entire day and allowed us to focus on enjoying our day instead of worrying about logistics. Throughout the process, she was communicative, prompt, professional, and asked helpful questions. All of our vendors enjoyed working with her.

We had a great experience using SRS Events for our month-of- and day-of-coordination for our wedding on August 12th, 2017. Stephanie was very friendly and a big help to us. We decided very late in our planning that we wanted to hire a day-of-coordinator for our wedding, and fortunately Stephanie was still available to help us out. She was very communicative with us and our vendors during the month before our wedding, and she took a lot of pressure off of my husband and I, since we are both in graduate school and planned the wedding ourselves. She was very cooperative and patient with all of the day-of details we kept making changes to. She was also so great on our wedding day, treating it as a genuine production and making sure everything was going as planned. I felt more relaxed knowing that she had things under control so we didn’t have to think about all of the logistics and timeline of everything. She was also very good with making changes to the timeline throughout the wedding day, as we arrived half an hour later to the venue than we were supposed to. She was very helpful with setting up decorations around the venue and setting up a beautiful dessert table based on a photo my mother found online as inspiration. Our wedding day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without Stephanie and her assistant. I planned a wedding in under 3 months and hired Stephanie for full planning. We needed help with everything from food, the venue, dj, cake, transportation, hotels, makeup, invitations, flowers, decorations, the list goes on. Stephanie exceeded our expectations. We planned a wedding in three weeks, through the Christmas Holiday season, and it turned out looking anything but last minute. My wife and I planned to marry in DC court but changed our minds when we couldn't get the date we needed while she still had family in town.
