I would highly recommend having your wedding here not only for the location, the beautiful scenery and the most perfect pictures, but also for the people who will help create the wedding of your dreams.

t incorrectly and I asked him to fix it. He asked for my ID, which was fine because I am of age. After he corrected my drink I came back for another after the dinner of the wedding. He refused to serve me and my friend, and told me that because he saw us “go to the bathroom” he wouldn’t serve us. The rest of the night, my friend and I were not served. Never in my life have I been degraded so much at a bar. Meanwhile, the groomsmen who could hardly even walk were served whatever they wanted. Multiple other wedding guests also spoke of his rudeness. The bartenders name was Ryan. When I tried to talk to the assistant manager about the situation, she would not even give me the time of day. It was absolutely ridiculous and I will advice anyone who is considering having a wedding there stay far away.

The Director of Sales, Amanda Dunn, has been simply amazing to work with! My fiancé & I still wanted to get married in the spring, so she was kind enough to offer us the opportunity to have a super-intimate ceremony onsite (that complied with the CDC’s, the WHO’s & the Governor’s guidelines, of course). Her communication is top-notch; she responded by email and/or text very quickly & was compassionate & understanding about every decision we made. We are so glad we chose them as our venue & we're thrilled we'll be able to work with them again in September for the BIG celebration!

We did not need a lot of decorations- the dining room is naturally gorgeous- but the decorations we did provide were set up even more beautifully than we had imagined- and then they were boxed up and ready for us to pick up after the wedding. They let us bring the decorations, candy and popcorn early, and I picked them back up after the wedding, the next day, so great, stress-free. Tammie... When she talks with you it's like your wedding is the only one she is doing (even though you know it's not)Icouldn't have got through the day without her. She took control, she got things done! She let me vent to her, which I very much appreciated, she was so on it. She's my kind of gal. She even sewed a button back on one of the groomsmen tuxes for us, sooo nice. One of our candy jars broke she quickly found a replacement. Tammie was always very timely getting back by telephone with me whether she was at work or not. Then there's Jessica, oh my goodness, they are so fortunate to have her. Jessica made sure when a stressful situation came up that we were calm and relaxed. She packed to go dinners and I enjoyed talking to her at the end of the evening too. I would definitely recommend this venue. The staff is very professional and attentive to your needs, even when unexpected things arise. My husband and I look forward to working with Brittany, Tammie and Jessica again in the near future when we plan an anniversary party.

they surely proved that. What really attracted me in the beginning was that they are an all-inclusive venue. They have their own menu (with a potato martini station!! - you can choose from regular potato and sweet potato with a multitude of toppings), a bridal attendant on the day of your wedding (Jessica was super helpful, getting me what I needed, making sure I was hydrated, grabbing plates of food for me and my bridal party), and the day-of wedding planner (Tammie) was a rockstar! Tammie was definitely more than just a "day of" planner. She was always quick to respond to my messages during the months before the wedding. She was helpful and always willing to meet. She has a degree in interior designing, so she is extremely skilled at knowing what looks great and what placements should go where. She never had a bad attitude, and would respond even if she wasn't at her office yet! Tammie also helped us a ton, by letting us drop our decorations off early so we wouldn't be stressing out on the day of the wedding. Not only that, but I mentioned to her that I couldn't find sparklers anywhere since it's not "in season" during the month of October. She gladly provided me with some leftover sparklers from previous weddings, which instantly dispelled my worries of a "bad exit". Also, another cool part about this venue is the fact that they let you & your bridal party ride in golf carts after the ceremony for a private picture taking. This ensures that you get some great shots with your bridal party. It was also a blast for all of the bridesmaids and the groomsmen to be driving around in our golf carts. The bridal attendant also came, ready with a plate of hors d'oeuvres for us - because hey, the guests aren't the only ones that can enjoy hors d'oeuvres right? SJGCC was always thinking one step ahead of us! The venue overall was clean, sophisticated, and very helpful. It also won't eat your bank account. For young couples looking to have a wedding of less than 100 guests, this is the venue for you. The staff at St. Johns Golf & Country Club are AMAZING!

The venue was perfect for my wedding. I had a mix of romantic, rustic, and elegant elements going on. The wood beams and chandeliers of the venue, along with the fireplace all went so well with my décor. The team really worked with me on all the details that I wanted which meant a lot! The Food was great, I got so many compliments from our guests on it being the best wedding food they had ever had! We chose the Chicken Picatta and the Steak and we were very happy with it. The best part of the whole experience was having Jessica (Bridal Attendant) there with me to keep me calm and help with anything I asked. From getting me water during the long photo session to double checking details throughout the night that kept popping in my mind. She was AWESOME! I really wasn't expecting that part of it. The crew that set up the reception room was also very kind to let me and my bridal party sneak in for a special bar photo I wanted during the set-up time. This is a great place to have your wedding!

She even sent me a text the night before the wedding to ensure that I was relaxing and not worrying about anything. I greatly appreciated that because it gave me reassurance that I was in good hands. I was also very pleased with the table layout she suggested. The set up made the main room and back parlor area feel as one unit (with 150 guests). She was always very accessible and a pleasure to work with. Our DIY decorations were all placed exactly the way I explained and everything feel right into place. Tammie kept the program running and there was nothing that I had to worry about that day, everything was taken care of. The bridal suite was the perfect spot for my bridesmaids and I to get ready (including the MUA applying our makeup in that space). We were able to listen to music, eat and drink in a comfortable atmosphere as we prepared for the wedding. I absolutely positively LOVE Jessica (Bridal attendant), I feel like she was by my side the entire day making sure I was okay. From making sure my husband and I ate to checking to see if I needed to change into my flip flops. She was on top of everything. My bridesmaids ran into trouble trying to bustle my dress after formal pictures and Jessica came in and saved the day. I can't speak enough on how much my husband and I appreciate her passion for what she does. If you are looking for a gorgeous venue that will make your DIY dreams come true and handle all the minor details and flow of the day, you definitely want to book at this venue. I could not have asked for my rehearsal dinner and wedding to have gone any better. Everything was taken care of and exactly how I wanted it. At our rehearsal dinner the food was amazing and the service was too. Brittany kept everything on schedule so I could enjoy myself. The staff was very attentive to my guests as well. I had my ceremony and reception there too. Brittany and her staff worked with all my vendors to make my vision for our wedding came to life. Before the ceremony, in the Bridal Suite, we had food and drinks brought to us. We had the ceremony on the patio and everything was decorated exactly how I had asked it to be and better. The reception...I can't say enough about the staff. Brittany had a schedule that she used and pulled it off to a tee!! We even got to eat! I had nothing to worry about and I could completely enjoy myself. Many of my guests continue to rave about our wedding and how much fun it was. The food was superb. I highly recommend the potato martini bar and chocolate fountain. My guests were so impressed. The staff also saw us off and had our car packed with a bottle of champagne and food. Everything was cleaned up by them as well! We had 120 guests at our wedding and this venue was perfect for that many. Thank you St. Johns Golf & Country Club!

We had a southwestern/Mexican themed wedding and we chose the southwestern style buffet and it was delicious! All of our guests were so impressed by the food. Brittany, the wedding coordinator, was incredible helpful every step of the way! What I loved about this venue is that we didn't have to set up or worry about the decor at all. You drop it off the week of your wedding and they take care of it all. All of our guests and family could sit back and enjoy the day with us, stress free! When they found out my maid of honor was pregnant they checked on her every hour to make sure she was set on goldfish and gingerale. So nice!The prices were so reasonable too compared to other similar venues. The staff is super laid back but also so efficient. We got so many compliments on the service as well as the food. We choose to have a buffet style wedding with our ceremony on the golf course. With rain a possibility we moved the ceremony to the patio which ended up being perfect and more intimate. I would recommend this venue honestly to anyone looking for a venue in the St. John's/St.Augustine area.

The chicken just fell apart as soon as you put your fork to it. Everything tasted amazing. They set everything up for you and take down so you dont have to worry about it doing it yourself. A huge plus when you have a lot of other last minute things to worry about. They even has a designated bridal attendant who is with you throughout the day to make sure you have what you need in food, drinks, constantly checking on you to make sure everything is going the way you want it to be. We had our ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the patio and reception inside. It was beautiful, intimate, magical, wonderful. I seriously could not have envisioned my wedding elsewhere or done as fantastic as they did for us. Seriously everything about the venue and staff was phenomenal definitely have your wedding here.

Brittany was so amazing, and basically my new BFF. They go above and beyond to make it so special for you. They set everything up, and break everything down for you, and you can grab it in a couple of days. That was amazing. Everyone loved how intimate and beautiful it was. We went to so many venues and the prices were ridiculous. For the venue, food, beer wine, it was such a awesome deal. I wouldn't change a thing. It truly is a beautiful place, and I am so happy this was our venue. Also, we had everyone stay at the World Golf Village Renaissance Hotel which was only one exit away, great for out of town guests. I want to relive it over and over again. Also, I wanted a great space for pictures because those were really important to me, and my wedding pictures are insanely beautiful and have great options with the venue. We got a special rate for the rental of the spaces (they run special pricing from time to time), and were absolutely hooked we we saw the space! The room inside has tall ceilings, wooden beams, fire places and chandeliers, and was perfect for the intimate wedding that we desired. Amanda and Brittany (the coordinators there), made us feel right at home. We did not have to worry about any details, because they were there every step of the way. They set up all of our decorations and took them all down, and that is included in the already amazing price! They made sure that I was not stressed about anything on the day of my wedding, and made sure that my husband and I were taken care of the whole night! We danced the night away on the patio with our band...it was spectacular. I am no bashing brides that spend thousands of dollars on a venue, but I have to say, I cannot imagine a more perfect place to get married, while also not breaking the bank.
