J with Stag Entertainment knocked it out of the park at our wedding! He knew how to read the room and kept the party going. We had our parents even saying they could have been out there all night long!! He stuck to our timeline, checked in with us throughout the night, and made sure there were always people on the dance floor. We hired Stag Entertainment for our wedding and wow was that the right choice! After a really negative experience being hounded by some other DJ companies after requesting a bid, Stag was perfect - communicative, organized, and professional. We had a really clear vision for what we wanted with the music and the general flow of the night and we were able to share all of this in person with Vince (the booking manager) AND in writing so it could be passed on to our DJ. Speaking of our DJ...she SLAYED! Marcella ended up being our DJ due to a last minute switch and oh my gosh she was INCREDIBLE. She completely understood the vibe we were going for. The song transitions were quick and well done and she was just a genuinely COOL person to work with. I cannot sing her praises enough! HUGE thank you for making our night so memorable!

We are so happy we booked Stag Entertainment for our wedding. DJ Jay did an outstanding job and he went above and beyond to make sure our music was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. A month before our wedding we met with DJ Jay and went through the timeline and he asked us questions to make sure the music for our day was perfect and that was definitely accomplished! We also added further notes for what we wanted done during the dance part of our wedding and DJ Jay did exactly what we wanted, which we were very happy about and I know our guests truly enjoyed the music and could not get off the dance floor. We highly recommend Stag Entertainment and DJ Jay. Thank you DJ Jay and Stag Entertainment for an excellent experience!

Incredible experience with Stag. From the first zoom call with David, he helped us not just with music but the flow of the entire wedding. Day of was exceptional, ceremony to reception. Loved working with these guys!! As a wedding planner, having a good DJ and MC is SO important to the success of an event. These guys are responsive to communication prior to your event, timely on arrival, will be very details and organized in all the music and sound system roles they fill, and had the crowd dancing and having fun all night. Definitely would recommend!

We booked Stag after they DJ’d my friends wedding. They were very communicative through the whole process. Our actual DJ was great! He played exactly what we asked, kept the party going and made sure he knew everyone’s names and how to pronounce them (in the bridal party). I would recommend them for your next event! They have an amazing price point compared to many others.

I unfortunately did not have a great experience with Stag... The coordinator was very friendly and responded quickly. We chose to hire stag for our wedding because we were told the DJ assigned to our wedding would work with us to provide suggestions, get to know us a little so he had context on how to DJ/interact with the crowd, and understand what kind of music we would want to hear at our wedding. This never happened. We only spoke with our actual DJ, the day of the wedding, as we were walking out of our ceremony, to find that he showed up 3 hours late almost RUINING our wedding (my wedding planner managed to play our ceremony music from her phone through a spare speaker she kept in her trunk, thank god). The DJ and owner both said it was a clerical error and the DJ was sent to the wrong location an hour and a half away. In addition, the DJ did not know a single thing about us or our wedding. During dinner, he even announced they would be dismissing tables to go get dinner, when we served a plated meal. I was less than impressed with our experience. The reason this review has 2 stars is because the owner was understanding, apologetic, and gave us a partial refund for the DJ missing our ceremony.

When I first connected with Stag I had a great experience with the owner and was so excited to work with them. Unfortunately my experience with my actual DJ was pretty dull. He was a bit weird and awkward, which I was willing to overlook. However he kept telling us he wouldn’t build a playlist for while people were arriving and being seated. OK fine, we made that for him too. Then he said of all the 25+ songs we had on there, he would just put the first 7 songs on a loop. Not what we wanted. So we ended up playing the music ourselves from the venue speakers. The company claims that they have no min/max hours, so during the reception when we asked the DJ to stay another hour (at 11pm, it wasn’t like 2 in the morning) he refused saying he was told to leave at 11pm sharp. My friends noticed he started packing up his equipment at 10:30pm. Again I would totally understand if this was agreed to prior, however when I spoke with the owner initially he said we can flex hours during the event based on what I’d like. On top of that he was hard to understand, was rude to my husband during dinner when he came up to us, and overall just not what I thought I was getting. I’d work with Stag again for sure, only if I had a different DJ though.

Stag was so easy to work with, and Jay was on top of his game. He met with us about a month before the wedding to go through the timeline of the night and to nail down specifics (how we wanted to be introduced, how we wanted the tables to be dismissed, how to handle song requests, etc.). The music selection was fantastic and he was also a great MC for the night. They really took a lot of worrying off my fiancé’s plate!

We used Stag Entertainment for DJ/MC services and photobooth. Everyone was amazing to work with and Jay did such an fantastic job! He played the songs we had requested and helped make our day and evening flow flawlessly. Stag entertainment also made our first dance mix! Kaitlin also did such a great job at managing the photobooth. We loved the little props that where available for our guest to use. My husband and I loved how we were able to customize the photo strips and we also really enjoyed the transparency in communication during our call with Jay when planning for the big day.

We used Stag for our DJ/MC services, and they did a great job! We were fairly low maintenance when it came to DJ, but they were so easy to work with and very affordable comparatively to other vendors!

Stag Entertainment was great! The whole team was highly organized, communicative and flexible to make sure our wedding & reception were rocking! Our DJ/emcee was J and he was super helpful and profession in making our day exactly what we wanted. He was able to read the temperature of the dance floor and kept people dancing from first to last song. 100% would recommend!

When I booked them I didn’t see a ton of reviews so I was kind of taking a chance. But gosh I am glad I did! They were so professional and fit in our budget which made it even better! Super responsive and communicative during our whole planning process. Great find!

I want to split this review into two parts: one about our DJ experience and one about our Photo Booth experience. Our DJ was fantastic! J reached out to us ahead of time, had a detailed Zoom with us, and followed our plan with attentiveness but also flexibility. J quickly learned our personalities, vision, and solidified what pieces of our day were non-negotiables versus what he could chose based on the in-the-moment vibe. His pacing of the day was perfect! We loved working with him. His communication and professional experience/judgment of reading the room put him above our expectations! Regarding the Photo Booth—it was a hit for guests. I’m so glad we opted to have the Photo Booth. The props provided were great, and I want to make it clear that the service was highly appreciated. However, the communication regarding the booth was disappointing. Someone from the company, anonymously, reached out the week before the wedding to design our print outs (background, names, wedding date). This design was never confirmed, then did not show up on guests’ copies. Actually, guests didn’t receive printed copies regardless. (They were pleased with digital copies, though.) The awkward blank place felt trashy. After the wedding, Stag shared all digital copies of our Photo Booth pictures, but the folder contained photos that were NOT OF OUR GUESTS! At this point we don’t care about getting those copies, which is unfortunate as that was a big draw as one of Stag’s listed inclusions for their Photo Booth service.

We had a wonderful experience with Andy and his team as the DJ of our wedding. We got married in my parents' backyard in Colorado Springs. Andy took the time to meet with me in person when I flew in for a holiday and also to come out to my folks' property and answer my dad's questions and queries! Paired with the Zoom meeting we did a few months prior to the event, we felt very comfortable and at ease! Andy rolled with the punches as our plans changed to inside the tent for the ceremony as a downpour rolled in right when the ceremony was to start. We got many compliments on the dancing during the ceremony and that's all due to Stag Entertainment for following our song and MC wishes to a T and having a great sound and light system. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

DJ J did an amazing job providing music playlists for our wedding day! He started the event off with a great mix of music, and kept the upbeat but chill vibe during the cocktail part of the day. He was on point with our wedding procession production, in particular with timing and sound quality from the beginning until the end of our ceremony. For our reception, DJ J made a very smooth music soundtrack transition to introduce our wedding party, and for me and my husband’s entrance. Between the wedding party dance performance, our first dance, and our emcee/host entertainer Lulu Alnite’s three performance numbers and games, DJ J did an excellent job coordinating all of it and had no issues with the sound quality and was perfect on start/stop times for each one of them. DJ J is also one of the most professional and respectful person that me and my husband have ever engaged business with. It was at least 2-3 months prior to our wedding day that we started making connections and dialogues with him via direct phone calls, video calls, email and text messaging. We were synced up with his structure and felt at ease with his musical knowledge, professional sound system, and event hosting experience. His flexibility to tailor and care for our individual needs was also well refined, and was able to produce things when we needed them. He was also praised by the venue where we had our ceremony, as they said he was one do the most tidy, flexible, and hard working dj’s she has ever had the pleasure to work with. He was never pushy about what he knows and believes when it comes to event music and sound systems; it was all about how we as his clients felt, and our wants for him, to make our wedding day truly the most special day of our lives together. We were always respected, heard and followed by him with mutual understanding and respect. Indeed, DJ J added his expert craft that made our special day magical for us to remember for all time!

Outstanding experience! Ceremony music was on point and the dancing at the reception continued into the wee hours. 100% recommend.

I do not have enough good enough things to say about Stag Entertainment. From start to finish they were amazing. Their communication and attention to detail for my wedding day was unparalleled. Our DJ included all of the songs we wanted, but beyond that, did a great job of incorporating appropriate songs as needed to help keep the party going. There is no other DJ company I would go with for my wedding.

Great wedding DJ! Had a great convo with Jay a few weeks prior where he helped guide us through the potential timeline of how things would work on our big day. Super simple process of linking songs we wanted, and he got them no problem. On the actual day he got there early and set everything up, and despite the timeline being completely off (on our side) they were super flexible with moving things around and making announcements. Super glad we went with Stag on our big day, 10/10 would recommend.

STAG was truly the most professional vendor we had at our wedding. Even though booking a DJ can seem like a smaller job than getting the venue or your florist, STAG exceeded our expectations with how professional and prepared they were compared to our larger vendors. Not only did our DJ have a few meetings with us prior to our event, but he organized all our songs and playlists. Throughout the time leading up to our event, we were able to easily give him the songs we wanted. Our wedding day went off without a hitch. We got to listen to most of our high priority songs, and will always remember our amazing entrance to Heat Waves by Glass Animals. Well done!

Absolutely the best DJ experience. Jay was so personable and completely embraced our request of doing a non traditional wedding. Our special day was flawless and it was all thanks to Jay. Not only did he pay attention to detail but my husband and I were happy to find an LGBTQ friendly DJ company. Highly recommend and will definitely be referring them to everyone.

Jay at Stag Entertainment was great! He was very communicative with us in the planning process and helped us answer questions we had. He was a great hype DJ too as our MC! Not only did I wait until the day of to give Andy my song choices, I didn’t even have some songs chosen (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.) he was there with multiple recommendations and always had the right songs playing at the right time. I love that there is only a flat rate to pay and it doesn’t matter how long the party goes on. I 10000% recommended stag entertainment for your next event.
