This property was originally built as a private residence in the late 1700s. It soon became a stop called Frost Tavern, where visitors could eat and lodge, and eventually, it became a boarding house. For nearly 70 years in the 20th century, it served as a convent run by the Sisters of St. Joseph Order. Today, the Stage House Inn hosts intimate private events, including micro weddings, parties, celebrations of life, and more. This space can accommodate 20 to 165 guests.
Holding onto its historical roots, Stage House Inn features various charming elements, including decorative tin ceilings and illuminating stained glass created by a local artist. The parlor room showcases Joseph Dufour's famous' Les Vues D'Italie' panoramic wallpaper, a stunning landscape scenery. The bar area includes fine marble countertops and stunning bronze accents.
