During the course of our wedding planning, my wife mentioned that she wanted to hire a coordinator for the day of the wedding. My initial response was that I didn't feel like we would get that much value out of a coordinator for just the one day, but boy was I wrong. Sue and her team handled everything for us that day so that my wife and I could focus on enjoying the moment, which is exactly what we wanted. There was not a single thing that took place that day that the team wasn't able to handle and take care of for us, which really did allow us to focus on what was important - making memories. The whole team was so sweet and friendly too! By the end of the day, they felt more like a part of the wedding than a hired vendor. They were always thinking two steps ahead and genuinely seemed to care about how my wife and I were doing, constantly asking if there was anything extra we needed them to do. They were even making sure we stayed hydrated, getting us bottles of water before we walked down the aisle! All in all, for something that I wasn't sure about in the beginning, I sure am glad we hired Stasia K. Events to help us navigate through one of the most important days in our life. They were kind, helpful, and professional the whole way through. In addition to that, it is very clear that they really did care about our day and genuinely seem to really love what they do - which makes such a big difference in my opinion. If anyone is in need of any assistance with their event planning, my opinion is that you don't need to look any further because I don't think there is a better team out there. We made a lot of great decisions about the wedding but hiring Sue was definitely one of the best ones we made. Our wedding was on the more simple side and we hired her as our day of coordinator, with her services officially starting around 2 months before our wedding date. She was very knowledgeable about the wedding industry and vendors, super great at communicating and responding, and very friendly! We had issues with our venue giving us straight answers to some questions and she made sure she was in our corner fighting for us. Every time we talked to her we were reassured. Even my new husband said she was worth the money after just one meeting with her. Our wedding went so smoothly because of Sue and her assistants! She gave us the chance to actually enjoy our day and not worry about the small stuff! We can't recommend her enough!

Sue & the whole team at Stasia K. Events went above and beyond for our wedding this summer (July 2023 bride). We booked the "peace of mind package" and I'm so glad that we did because having Sue as a sounding board and fountain of knowledge truly kept me sane during the planning process. She was with me every step of the way and always guided me in the right direction, especially through the tough decisions. Sue and her team were fantastic to work with! Right from our first meeting we could tell that we were in great hands. Sue was available anytime that we needed to help us prepare and ensure that we didn't miss any details. Our wedding would not have gone nearly as well without all of Sue's help. Her previous experience working with our venue and some of our vendors only aided in making sure everything went smoothly for our wedding. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and we were actually ahead of time which took all of the stress off. I worked with Sue leading up to my wedding and Kim was team lead on the big day. I would recommend Sue and her team with Stasia K to everyone! Absolutely phenomenal and made my day run so smooth with no problems whatsoever (and if there was, they took care of it and I had no idea). I wanted a day of coordinator who would take the stress off of me and my family/friends and they did that and so much more! From the time I signed the contract with Sue, she was available for a text, email, or phone call to answer any questions, ease my mind about things, and ensure that I was doing everything I needed to be doing in order to plan a wedding for 140 guests. She was so friendly, professional, and had great advice for the wedding industry. She was extremely personable and I'm so glad I hired her for the most important day. She handled every detail and request with ease and never made me feel like I was asking too much. I cannot stress enough how crucial Stasia K events was to my day running so smooth and easing all my stress through the lengthy wedding planning process.

There is truly no way I would have had as successful as a wedding day without Sue and her team. Sue is THE BEST wedding planner I could have asked for. She thought of details/ideas that I never would have thought of and made me have the most perfect wedding day. She is known in the industry and people respect her and listen to her direction. Sue, Kim, and the rest of the team were great from start to finish! We utilized their Peace of Mind package, and that's exactly what they provided. We had already booked our vendors before hiring Sue + team, but Sue took over at the appropriate time to make sure all our vendors and timeline were ready to go for the big day. I felt that I could fully trust Sue + team to take care of all the final details leading up to the wedding and day of. Their communication, transparency, and attention to detail were all on point. Sue also helped book a last-minute vendor, avoiding a potentially very stressful situation. Additionally, Sue + team did everything in their power to accommodate our request to set up our intricate centerpieces for our reception. Several of my friends and family members have also used Stasia K.'s services, and there is a reason we keep coming back to them!

Sue is so great to work with! She was so easy to work with and answered my questions in a very timely fashion. I hired Sue and her team as a "day of" coordinator. We were married at a private residence and needed someone to manage all the vendors. They were absolutely fantastic!! Everything about the day exceeded expectations, and I know it's because of the hard work they did behind the scenes. They were great to work with and were willing to help with everything!

I had no idea when I hired Sue and her team what to expect in planning my wedding and I was so taken back how Sue helped me and my now husband it blew my expectations out of the water! I hired Sue and her team as a “Day of” wedding coordinator. Sue has from day one been responsive to my every call or email no matter what time of day! She helped with reviewing vendor contracts to ensuring I get the most out of the money spent for vendors. Oh my gosh...where to start. I was planning a big fat Greek wedding in Chicago where my fiancé is from, but I am from Fargo ND, a few states away. I convinced my groom that I needed a wedding planner/non family point person in Chicago so that I wasn't so stressed out, and let me tell you...WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. Sue (and her wonderful crew) took care of everything. Guidance during planning, calming my fears during a pandemic, quick responses on questions, keeping track of vendors and contracts...pretty much whatever we needed. And the day of...zero stress. If anything didn't go exactly as planned on our wedding day, we had no idea. Every single thing was perfect, and we had such a wonderful day. If you hire Stasia K, you will not be disappointed. I wish I could give them 10 stars! They are the absolute best, they keep track of all the details (down to the minutes), so that you can just relax and get yourself MARRIED!!!

My now Husband, Andre & I spoke with 2 different wedding planning companies prior to speaking with Sue, the owner of Stasia K… When we got off our first call with Sue, Andre looked at me and said something along the lines of “I’ve never seen you click with somebody so fast”. When it came to discussing wedding plans, I am the type of person that has so many ideas running in my head and not sure how to put them into words, but on our call with Sue, I started rambling I was talking so much!! Sue was an amazing sounding board during the process of planning, she would check in on me when we needed to make decisions on vendors & when I felt that I might be behind timeline schedule she ensured me that I was ahead of timeline. Early on, Sue kept an upfront approach and helped us understand what to look for in vendor contracts, what’s included in different venues, catering packages & everything for us to be on the hunt to have the perfect wedding. Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding…. Wow, I was not prepared for the chaos! Or should I say, I didn’t even know chaos was going on! Sue & her team took care of everything regarding vendor communications, building our day of timeline & calming my nerves that I should be doing something that wasn’t. Our package included a member of Sue’s team to be with us during our Ceremony rehearsal & what a blessing Kim was! Kim was so helpful during the run through of the ceremony. We had one of our best friends officiate the wedding, & it was a first time for all of us. Kim helped navigate my thoughts & ideas & put them to play in real life. Day of our wedding, we had Kim & Kim from Sue’s team running the show & they were wonderful!!! I did not have to do anything but enjoy the moments with my friends, mom & mother-in-law. Hiring Staskia K was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. The owner, Sue, was heavily involved from day one. She was always available to help with silly questions that would come up and was happy to help with any larger issues that arose along the way as well. She has a few different packages available and I chose the one that was focused on the "day of" planning, and she and her team were incredibly helpful that day! They helped us with things such as creating a thorough timeline on what would need to be done when, when we would expect all vendors to come, what times each bus needed to drop us off at the venue, etc. At one point that day we were running a little late and she called the vendor to remind them when they needed to be done to keep the day moving as planned. They also did things like setting up place cards in alphabetical order, putting family pictures up on display, coordinating last-minute items with the venue, handing out tips to vendors and the list goes on and on. They were worth the money and much more! Not to mention - they are incredibly lovable people which makes working with them a pleasure! I was truly able to enjoy the day because you were there to worry about all the little things, so thank you so much Sue, Kim, and Donna! Couldn't have done it without you guys.

Do I have enough space to write how many wonderful things Sue did for us? We worked with Sue from 2019 to our wedding in Sept 2021, we hired her as day of coordination with support on our contracts and for our rehearsal too. Sue worked so hard to help through our Covid delays and worked with our vendors a ton, she truly went above and beyond. We did have one hiccup on our wedding date with our transportation and Sue jumped right in to help out with additional contacts. The rest of the weekend was 100% perfect and that is because Sue does an incredible job keeping everyone on track and organized that you won’t have to worry about your day. This was not a traditional wedding or a traditional venue. We struggled to make our plans and wishes clear with nearly every vendor involved- except Sue and her day of team of Kim and Elisa. From the first moment they were absolutely wonderful. Sue listened, she helped with other vendor issues, she offered suggestions and options but never once was anything but positive and supportive. From the moment Kim and Elisa arrived I was free to enjoy the day I spent two years planning. Yes, we are among the Covid-postponed! I am a professional stage manager and it takes a very competent person to put me at ease to enjoy instead of oversee. I can not say enough about these amazing women! Call them. Book them. Relax and enjoy the wedding.

I cannot say this strongly enough...YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH SUE AND HER TEAM!!!! They were amazing!! From the moment I got in contact with Sue, she was a dream! It felt more like I was planning my wedding with an older sister or aunt then working with a wedding coordinator. Sue was amazing to work with! She is always super responsive and thinks about every little detail- even things that would've never crossed my mind. She was very flexible and helpful with all the changes due to COVID. We had an issue with our pastor not showing up for the rehearsal and we were grateful that Sue took the lead. Where do I begin. Hiring Sue was hands down the very best decision we made for our wedding. I could not have gotten married without her. Through over a year of planning, through a pandemic, she became more like family. Not only did she come through by giving me peace of mind, she gave us so much more. She went above and beyond my expectations for a wedding planner. She was my support, my cheerleader, my friend. I could count on her any time of day, to calm my nerves, to sort out a vendor problem, or just help me decide on a shade of sage. She was incredibly dependable and professional. I also could count on her to care about my wedding as much as I did, which, what more could you ask for in a wedding planner. She completely understood my vision, and she did everything to help me make it happen. On the actual wedding day, she made sure I didn't have to worry about anything. It was my dream day, my dream wedding and Sue made it happen. I will be forever grateful.

I unfortunately did not get a chance to work with Sue due to some uncontrollable budgeting issues on my part, but I still wanted to leave her a review because she was so unbelievable kind and professional. She took time out of her day to talk with me and get to know me and my vision and was prompt with her responses and offered great advice. Even after I let her know we weren’t going to use her services, she still offered to answer any planning questions that may come up for me. I cannot recommend Sue and Stasia K. Events highly enough!! She is beyond amazing!! Due to covid we ended up planning four different receptions, it was a mess. But, Sue was with us every step of the way. She recommended great vendors, and was always available just to offer support if we needed it. Stasia K. Events was everything and more that I needed to get me to my big day. From my consultation, I knew Sue was it. Her and I just clicked. She then introduced me to her daughters and their teamwork was unbelievable. I love that it is a family oriented company. Sue was available to me whenever needed (morning, night, weekend, holiday). She even took the time to converse with my mom, mother in law, and MOH to make sure things went the way they needed to. Sue and her girls made things up until and the day of the wedding go smooth. I. Love. Sue. Our original wedding date was supposed to be 10/10...but due to COVID we are now getting married in April 2021! We have a guest list of around 250 people and lots of vendors, but thanks to Sue and her team the date switch was seamless for me! I am also an out of town bride (I live in NY and am getting married in Chicago) so Sue has been a huge help being full of knowledge on all the local things to do and incorporate into the wedding. She even researched locations and is helping plan my bridal shower. I am generally a very organized person and originally wasn't sure if I was going to want/need a planner...but hiring Sue was the best decision. The personal attention you get and most importantly, having someone to help remind you of the little things that need to get done or added has been amazing. 100% recommend. Can't wait for the big day.

Sue was absolutely AMAZING! I was not planning on hiring a wedding coordinator, but when our large event turned into a mini ceremony because of COVID, I needed help to replan the whole event and some added motivation because I lost most of it when our large wedding had to get postponed. Sue helped me create a vision for the new event and was so incredibly helpful the day of. She responded to every email and phone call of me panicking and just kept me calm and helped me figure everything out for this new event in such a short amount of time. It took me a while to write this but Sue might be the greatest wedding coordinator ever! At first we thought we could take on this event by ourselves! Boy, were we wrong! Sue was the answer to our prayers! We knew she would be a perfect fit as soon as we met her! She made our day wonderful, stress free and everything went smooth. Sue and her daughter were able to manage our 240-ish guest wedding with no problems! Even with separate locations for ceremony and reception. Hire Sue. Right now. She will save not only your wedding, but your sanity. She is an amazing professional - I would give her 85 stars if I could. I was very skeptical about hiring a coordinator because I was confident that I could handle it all myself. Could I have? Probably. But was my wedding day 6000% more enjoyable because I didn't try to do it all myself? Yes. She was my best and most favorite vendor, and I can't express my gratitude and excitement about her properly. I say it again: hire Sue.

Sue was my day of coordinator for my 270 person wedding in June 2019. She did a wonderful job, was on top of everything and very easy to get ahold of at any time. She reviewed all of my contracts, contacted all of my vendors and helped me get better video and photo coverage on our wedding day. She was very easy to work with, was super organized, and ensured our wedding day went smoothly! I would work with her again!

We decided to hire a wedding planner fairly late in our planning process. We originally thought that we would be able to do everything ourselves but quickly became overwhelmed. I never fully understood the value of a wedding planner until my daughter (the bride) hired Sue. She helped us find the right vendors, reviewed all of the contracts and ensured that we had everything in place before the big day. The day of the wedding I was overjoyed to have her there keeping everyone and everything in order. It gave me the opportunity to enjoy myself, my daughter the bride and our friends and family. Sue is amazing! My wedding was Beautiful, If your stressed out about anything, just call her right away and she'll take care of it, Sue was such a help in allowing me to enjoy the event. Sue was so wonderful during the entire wedding planning process. We decided to get married in the matter of 2.5 months and although it was a stressful process, she made it much easier for us. From our first call, we knew she was the one. Immediately after our call, she sent us suggestions for different vendors. She helped us prioritize a budget so that we could have our dream wedding. She ended up finding the best venue. She advocated for us along the way and we knew no one could try to take advantage of us. She checked in to make sure that we were on track with everything. She was so organized that our other vendors complimented her constantly. She never let anything fall through the cracks. When we found out the weather was going to be colder than we expected, she went above and beyond by going shopping the night before the wedding to find me a wrap to match my dress. The morning of the wedding, I realized I didn’t have access to a printer so she printed my vows and Reception speech for me. She made everything go so smoothly the day of the wedding. Even though we had not given her a layout of how the decorations should look, she made sure that it was all perfect. She was an invaluable asset and we were so thankful we found her. We would never have been able to do it without her. She was the best wedding planner we could have ever imagined!

We used Stasia K events for my wedding. We contracted for a “month of” wedding planner. Sue was amazing. I texted her with questions and concerns and just general ideas and her response was almost immediate. She reviewed all of our vendor contracts and honestly this was the biggest reason our day went so smoothly. She anticipated so many issues and they were fixed before there was ever a problem. She’s so calm. At one point one of my bridesmaids dresses began to disintegrate. I would have lost it at that point. She said calmly oh we can fix this. And promptly did. For so many reasons w are so glad we used her,

We used Stasia K for our destination wedding reception. Stasia K assisted with securing our wedding venue, hotels, officiant, reception, etc in the Dominican Republic. It was absolutely perfect. We did not worry about a thing! We then used them for a reception back here. Also, a perfect event. We were married on a boat in the Dominican and wanted our wedding cake to look like that ship, and Stasia K made that happen! We then wanted to carry the Caribbean theme throughout the rest of the event. Sue had amazing ideas to do exactly that and was able to pull it off! The reception was perfect, and everything went smoothly thanks to Sue and the Stasia K team. I highly recommend Stasia K.

I used StasiaK to plan my niece's Wedding Shower. StasiaK took care of everything from flowers to food to the crazy coffee theme we made them use. When the weather changed just before the event, Sue and her teams seamlessly moved the party indoors. My guests could not even tell the party was moved indoors. That was a great plan B execution. I highly recommend StasiaK. I have 3 nieces and a baby shower coming up and Sue and her team will be there!

Sue is absolutely wonderful! She was organized, attentive and willing to help with anything. She made sure everything was in order from vendors, attendants to the flow of the day. The day was a success thanks to her!

First off, Sue is just the BEST!! Leading up to the event, she was available at all hours of the day for my (and moms) endless questions. She made numerous calls checking on all our vendors and making sure all payments were on time. She was constantly checking with me to make sure the day was going to be everything I ever imagined. I found Stasia K. when I was looking for someone to plan my daughter's bridal party, and I can't express how amazing they were to work with.
