We had a fantastic wedding at Station 67! Everything from the ceremony space to the catering was excellent and even out-of-state planning was possible thanks to the staff.
Station 67 was such a beautiful venue. It is an old train station so it is very unique. Working with Heidi at LA Catering was a dream. She helped me during a very hectic time to make sure our reception went smoothly. The food was amazing and we received tons of compliments about the food. Heidi made sure that everything was perfect from planning to the setup.
Station 67 was an absolute dream to work with. It's a beautiful old train station that had lovely lighting for both the ceremony and reception space, and their exclusive catering company, LA Catering, was a dream to work with. They provided linens, pipe and drape, a firetruck bar/DJ station, a place to watch the OSU game, chair set up, and modern placemats. We were able to be in there from 10a-11p for one price, had two spaces to get ready with multiple bathrooms, a beautiful space, outdoor reception space, and it was super close and in walking distance to all the beautiful parks downtown for photos.
Station 67 was a beautiful and unique venue for our wedding! It has a ton of character, and was very affordable. The layout allows for the ceremony and reception to be at the same venue, while still having separate spaces for each. The staff, especially Stacy Lombardo, was incredibly helpful and responsive. We had an amazing time at ur wedding, and it would not have been possible without such a great venue!
Stacy was phenomenal with Station 67/LA Catering! We planned our wedding in Ohio, while living out of state, and found her to be wonderfully communicative. Beyond that, she was super helpful in sharing ideas when It I had no idea what to do. I honestly will really miss working with her to plan our wedding. It was stress free (or as stress free as a wedding can be). The venue was beautiful, but it really was LA Catering (who they require you work with) who took the cake! Amazing food. And all of the LA Catering staff the night of was so kind, organized, and just overall lovely. I would highly recommend to anyone!
This is a great venue if you want a really cool space. We loved the vintage train station and were able to make both rooms work for our large wedding.
We had our wedding at Station 67 on April 22nd and we were so incredibly lucky to have Stacy and her crew guiding us the whole way. From planning to execution, they were there to help us in every step. We even had some incredibly unique requests such as different
colors for every table, they met and exceeded all expectations. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and we are so happy with everything about our wedding day! That was before we found out that L.A Catering was a non-profit that provides a wonderful service to the community!
We highly highly recommend them and we assure you that the wedding of your dreams is in very capable hands!
There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe just how happy we are with our experience with Station 67. From the very first email, we felt so valued as customers. Heidi Armstrong and her team worked tirelessly to make our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. The meals were high quality, and all dietary needs were met. The bartender and servers were professional and worked together to make cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert a seamless affair. They were flexible with our rehearsal, and gave us time to decorate so everything was ready the day of. Heidi answered all of my emails quickly (within 24 business hours) and made sure everything was as we wanted it. I cannot recommend Station 67 and LA Catering enough. It was truly a perfect day all around!
We absolutely loved having our wedding at Station 67. The ceremony room is beautiful and barely needed any decorations - many of our guests commented on how nice the room was. We got super lucky with the weather too, and the outdoor area was a hit with our guests - we rented bistro lights and added a few hightop tables to encourage guests to use the outdoor space. Overall, it felt like a hidden gem right by downtown Columbus.
Station 67 is a beautiful venue for weddings. There were some changes made due to COVID with their caterer and they were still able to pull off a flawless wedding for us. We recieved nothing but compliments from our guests about how beautiful the building was and how delicious the food was. Sara is the best and went above and beyond for us!
Station 67 ensured that my daughter’s wedding day was perfect! It was everything we hoped for and then some! All of our guests commented on the beauty and uniquity of the historical building. The reception hall looked amazing, as the building has recently been renovated. The food prepared by Simply Delicious was just that, simply delicious! Onsite bridal suite and groom’s room made for, day of preparation convenience. The Columbus skyline provided a lovely backdrop for cocktail hour on the patio. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Destiny was prepared, organized and worked seamlessly with all of our vendors. Our family is so pleased with this venue choice. Highly recommended!
I'm not sure where to begin in my review of Station 67 so I will begin with, you absolutely can not go wrong with choosing this venue!!
My husband and I searched for almost a year for the perfect venue. When we met with Destiny at Station 67 I knew we had found our place. Destiny is the most thorough and helpful vendor I have had the pleasure of working with. My controlling, borderline type A personality was nothing she couldn't handle and she did so with such grace and a sense of calm. She was always willing to answer my questions, some of them multiple times because I would forget or not write down her answers. I never had to worry about what was going on with the venue/wedding process because of her open communication. A major point of my wedding that I wanted was an aesthetically pleasing wedding date, something I (shockingly) forfeited due to needing to nail down this venue (the original date I wanted was booked and my backup date Destiny was going to be out and I refused to get married without her being there/seeing the beauty of her work).
The venue speaks for itself- it's spacious, beautiful, and unique. Station mixes a sense of modern with a touch of classic, something my husband and I loved. The entrance of walking down the stairs I have been told was breathe taking (I have yet to get my video/pictures back to see for myself, it was terrifying as a bride walking down a flight of stairs but I truly believe so so worth it). My husband and I did the first look right outside the venue as the landscaping and beauty of the buildling provided a great backdrop (and my husband still had a tear or two when I was walking down the stairs).
The staff that we worked with throughout our wedding were fabulous, so willing to help and doing so with a smile on their face. My guests still rave about the customer service they exhibited throughout our wedding.
The food was delicious, full of flavor and the perfect temperature (we did a buffet). Party pleasers (a partnered vendor of Station) created the perfect look by providing the bistro lights, drapery behind our head table, and ceiling swag! These touches were the icing on top of an already beautiful space!
Trust me when I say, I looked at MANY venues around the Columbus area, the quality and beauty you get for your money are untouchable when choosing Station 67!
TL;DR: We were extremely satisfied with our complete wedding experience at Station 67, and so grateful for the incredible effort by Destiny and her staff to facilitate the most amazing day of our lives. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had our wedding at Station 67 on September 7th, 2019. We booked the venue about a year prior after corresponding with the venue coordinator, Destiny. In the year leading up to our wedding, Destiny was attentive and reliable with her communication and implementation of plans, and her only goals were to help us to have our dream wedding and to make sure the day itself went as smoothly as possible.
I describe Station 67 as an all-inclusive wedding venue, in that many of the set-up details - including tables, chairs, linens, tableware, catering, alcohol and bartending, and venue decor - are all coordinated under Destiny's umbrella. For us, our venue was a one stop shop for an immense portion of our wedding plans, which was incredibly important to us as an out of town couple carrying out our own wedding planning. As our wedding weekend approached, we were very happy with all of the details the venue was responsible for, and extremely confident that they would be executed to perfection.
As for the venue itself, it has amazing spaces for the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour, with marvelous amounts of character. We used burgundy, charcoal, and ivory as our wedding colors, with some industrial and romantic vibes and accents of greenery, which staged beautifully with Station 67's red brick and white marble. Our guest count was about 130, and each space was very comfortable for that number.
We were fortunate enough to use the venue for our rehearsal on Friday evening, where another venue coordinator (Ashley) met us. I did a final walkthrough with her to outline the timeline and set-up of the wedding, and she ran the rehearsal helpfully and effectively. We were also able to drop off our decor so that it was all consolidated in the space. Our venue reservation was at 3:00 PM on Saturday, and when my bridesmaids and I arrived at 3:20, the venue set-up was completed and ready for my wedding coordinator to decorate. Throughout the night, the entirety of the staff was happy and considerate, and accomodating to my husband and I in a way that made us feel so special.
Everything and everyone connected to Station 67 was incredible. Destiny and her entire team were extremely helpful from start to finish. Destiny was very prompt when responding to questions via text, call or e-mail.
The venue speaks for itself. Many guests were intrigued by the building history and the charm and character of the building its self.
We wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding and we owe a big “thank you” to the entire Station 67 event crew!
Destiny was our extraordinary planner for this venue. She was more than willing to text/call/email even after business hours, which is so helpful for us and more than generous. Our event was beautiful and we were able to do every kind of decoration we wanted. The venue was amazing and I can't recommend this place enough for a rehearsal dinner, wedding, or event!
This venue is gorgeous. Truly a hidden gem of Columbus. One would never imaging the inside with high arched ceilings, carved details, wooden balcony, and marble floors throughout the main level. Exterior offers a variety of existing backdrops for photo opportunity, including the brick front and entry steps, side garden, and stone wall under the railroad tracks. Our event was not disturbed by any external on-goings through the day.
Destiny showed her professionalism and experience in expertly taking us through our Big Day! She had already scheduled and prepared the timeline. They have dedicated catering, so there was no need to search for another company! The food was great and the service prompt.
Station 67 is an amazing wedding venue. The space is incredible by itself. Because of that we did very little decorating. Having the reception at the same venue as the ceremony was important to us which made this an easy choice. Destiny was great to work with. She was easy to communicate with (call, text, email, in-person) and helped us every step of the way. I will definitely use Station 67 again for other events if I ever get the chance to!
If you’re looking for a premier wedding/reception space in downtown Columbus, OH, look no further than Station 67! This renovated former train station is architecturally beautiful both inside and out. Our two coordinators, Destiny and Diana, made the entire planning process a breeze, beginning months before to the day of event. So professional and extremely helpful! And the food was outstanding! Our day could not have gone any better. It was everything our daughter dreamed it would be. ❤️
Destiny at Station 67 was wonderful to work with every step of the way in planning our wedding and Best Day Ever! She was always available to us and would ask me to call/text her with anything I needed. She did her best to help keep my stress levels low and ensure we had the most perfect day! Station 67 is a beautiful and historic venue and meant so much to my husband and I, with him also being a Columbus Fireman! We can’t thank Destiny, Simply Delicious, and the other staff enough! I would recommend her and this venue to anyone!
The space itself is absolutely beautiful, you don't really need any decorations, although I did. Event coordinator is great and easy to work with. Loved having Station 67 as my reception center, it was absolutely beautiful and everyone complimented it!!
We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Station 67 and I can't say enough great things about the venue, Destiny (the coordinator), and all the staff that helped bring the day together. I live out in Seattle and planned the whole thing with Destiny from out there. In fact, I met her for the first time at our rehearsal the day before the wedding! She was so easy to work with. Very knowledgeable, very communicative and prompt. She thought of everything. I went into the weekend with complete confidence because I trusted Destiny. Everything went off without a hitch (at least from my perspective) and we got SO many compliments from our guests on the venue. The team truly made the day so special and so stress-free. I am recommending this venue (and Destiny) to everyone I know. A perfect weekend.
Destiny and Station 67 were amazing. We had an evening candlelit ceremony, in the room with the overhead lights and old ticket booth. We had our reception in the banquet space. It was perfect for our vision. We then got night time photos with the skyline as the backdrop. It was INCREDIBLE.
Station 67 is great. They set everything up for me. They even got me and my husbands food for us so we didn’t get our dress and tux dirty. The venue looked beautiful after everything was set up. They totally transformed everything. Made my day so special and unforgettable! So appreciative!
With all the times I've been to COSI I'm surprised I never saw this brick beauty just past the parking lot.
The building was gorgeous, especially the arched atrium where we had our ceremony. It has nice lighting, great acoustics for the officiant, & DAMN is it beautiful! The reception area is pretty st&ard by comparison, but it was a good space for dinner & dancing & wonderful that we could do both the ceremony & reception in the same place.
The catering was delicious. Station 67 is tied to Catering by Milo's, so you are required to go with them. It was nice not to have to interview multiple caterer c&idates after hiring all the other vendors. Being limited like that, though, I was worried about what would happen if they were low-quality. Worry not, because their food & service were excellent. They have tons of options & everything I tried was tasty; many guests commented on how great the food was. The staff who helped us out the day-of were great at their jobs & wonderfully friendly.
We worked with Lynn from Catering by Milo's. She was pretty good to work with. In the earlier months of our planning it was sometimes hard to get ahold of her by email. Since I live on the west coast the time change didn't help, but we worked around it. In person she was clear & professional & gave us a good tasting experience. Working with her & Station 67 was decently smooth & easy overall.
However, we did have some problems. Lynn & I often miscommunicated. Sometimes she'd forget what I'd chosen, or wouldn't tell me that a problem had come up until late in our conversation. Sometimes I'd have to send her two or three emails to get an answer to a question. To be fair to her, I was often throwing several questions at her per email. I don't know her situation, but if she was taking care of multiple weddings or had a lot of other responsibilities I can forgive some mistakes & missed questions. However, it did happen more often than I would have liked.
An important thing to be aware of if you book your wedding here is there is a firemen's union that uses the building. Booking a wedding here, you need to work around their schedule to do your thing. For example, we had to have our rehearsal on Thursday before the wedding instead of Friday because there was a wedding the day before ours & the firemen had the building before 4. This is totally fine, but would have been nice to know earlier. When this did get in our way it was usually only a minor inconvenience.
On the day-of a few things went differently than discussed. Lynn told us guest parking was at COSI, but the day-of we found out it was in a side lot near COSI instead. COSI staff had no idea what our guests were talking about when they asked about wedding parking. It would have been nice to have this clarified & maybe a map to direct our guests. We also had several st&ing guests in the back of the atrium during our ceremony. I don't know what caused this, but we only had 157 guests, which is well under the 175 they say can fit in the description above. Perhaps there was a snafu with the chairs. Perhaps they meant 175 with people st&ing, but if this is the case I would like to have known that beforeh&.
Overall this was a great venue. It was beautiful, unique, had tasty food, & was an all-in-one venue for a ceremony & reception. Despite a few minor issues, I have no regrets about hosting it here. Thank you Lynn & everyone at Station 67 & Catering by Milo's who helped us make our wedding happen.
We had our wedding at Station 67 on July 16, and it was great. Many guests even came up to me during the reception and told me how beautiful the venue was. The atrium room is very unique and pretty, and makes for some great photos. The tall, arched ceiling with the faux sky light is just so pretty, and there are neat carvings on the walls of each end of the room. Plus, there's the balcony and stairs which allow for a grand entrance if you want it (but you can also slip down some back stairs and just walk down the aisle if you want!).
Our event had about 50 people total, and I really liked that Station 67 didn't feel too big for us, even though they can fit much larger events.
We also had a lot of guests traveling from out of town, so I really wanted something near the city- not a generic golf club or rustic venue that could be found in any state. Station 67 is right next to downtown, so all our guests got to see atleast a tiny bit of Columbus! A couple of my guests even visited COSI before the ceremony. Station 67 is also a unique and historic building, which gives it more character and charm.
Practicality: Station 67 was affordable, had parking options, an attached reception room, included air conditioning (important for summer weddings), and even had an little courtyard in case the weather cooperated (which it did). These were all important factors to me, and many other venues were lacking atleast one of them.
The outside of the building is also very nice. I enjoy nice architecture, so it was nice to find a venue that wasn't just pretty on the inside. The little courtyard outside allowed for some pictures with the building in the background, too. Plus, on the Spaghetti Warehouse side of the building, there's all that weird metal support stuff for the railroad tracks above. Not particularly "beautiful", but does provide for some different style photography.
Overall, I would recommend Station 67 to anyone looking for a unique and affordable venue in Columbus.
Beautiful venue. Our guests loved it! Great location downtown, unique atrium, awesome atmosphere!
My husband and I used Station 67 for our venue and it was beyond beautiful. We were looking for a location that could host both our wedding and reception so guests would not have to drive to two locations, and we were looking for something downtown reasonably priced. It just so happens this is the Firefighters Union Hall, and my husband is a Firefighter for the City of Columbus. We could not have picked a more perfect location for our wedding- it was beautiful and photographed very well! LOVED it!!
Station 67 was a lovely backdrop for our wedding. Due to the atrium's natural beauty and historic charm, very few decorations were required for the ceremony. We had the ceremony in the atrium, dinner in the main hall, and dancing in the atrium. People loved the outdoor space, which was perfect for our summer wedding. We had two bars open throughout the night and we loved that one of the bars was made from the front of an old bright red Columbus fire truck. The staff was very flexible with allowing us to come in and tour the space when it was convenient for us, as we live in Cleveland and were wedding planning from afar. When it was noticed that one of the light blubs in the atrium had burned out the night before our wedding, the staff immediately replaced it. We were able to bring decorations and other materials to the venue the night before our wedding (because there was not another wedding scheduled that night). We had to do all clean up the night of the wedding, and I would have preferred to have the option to come back the next morning to clean up, even if we had to pay a fee to do so. Overall, I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for an urban setting with historical elements.
We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! It was absolutely gorgeous! We had both the ceremony and reception at Station 67 and loved it! The service staff were all so nice and did a great job. Carly was amazing and helped make our day incredibly special! We highly recommend Station 67!
Station 67 was the perfect size for our wedding of 110 guests. The coordinators really ensured that our wedding night went off without a hitch. We were so happy & everything was so beautiful! I recommend station 67 for sure!
We have always loved the historic building and it was a great location for our ceremony and reception. The atrium has beautiful, original marble and carvings. The new reception hall has new wonderful wood floors and the perfect layout for the party we wanted our wedding to be!
