My husband and I were married the morning of August 8th in Lahaina. Through all of the madness of insane winds and the power being out, Stephan did everything possible to help make our day, and our film, perfect. He made sure to keep our viewers on our live webcast up to date on what was happening and why we were unable to do the webcast. After our ceremony, Stephen rushed home and got our webcast up in just a few hours for our friends and family to watch. When we got our film, we loved it but there were a few small changes we asked for. Stephen got them changed quickly and was in communication with us the whole time. With all of the events that happened in Lahaina that day, it is sometimes difficult to remember the joy we felt that morning. Our wedding film helped to remind us of how lucky we were and the love that was there. Our wedding film is so beautiful and it shows us how perfect our day was, even with all of the hiccups of our event. Thank you, we are so grateful!!

Stephan was amazing to work with during the pre-planning & post production phase. We were looking for a live streaming option because many of my family & friends were unable to attend & a photographer friend recommended Stephan. After reviewing his website I reached out & he responded very quickly. The contract is very simple & easy to navigate through. He also sends a useful YouTube link to explain the process your guests will experience the day of. Even family who are not tech savvy at all was able to in just one click watch the live streaming. Michael was my videographer the day of. He was professionally dressed, prompt, kind & easy to work with. My now husband and I were already a little nervous as we had to reschedule many times with different vendors and venues and now we were going to be getting married in another state. A wedding MUST-HAVE! I knew I had to hire him because I cried while watching all of the wedding videos on his website. Due to the pandemic, we decided to have a remote wedding in Hawaii with no guests. My now fiancé surprised me with a proposal on a beach at sunset on our trip to Maui. To my surprise, Stephan was there taping the whole thing! Our engagement video turned out perfect - we're both obsessing over it. We're actually showing it at our engagement party as a surprise for our guests. Stephan was even flexible enough to make a longer 5 minute version and a shorter 1 minute version of the video. I was expecting to give him some feedback and which parts I'd like to be included in the shorter version, but I didn't even have to because Stephan took the thoughts out of my brain and already completed a perfect clip. The quality is fantastic, and not to mention the turn-around time! He was able to complete the video clips within a few days, before we even returned home from our trip. I wish we could ship him out to Chicago for our actual wedding!

Stephan was awesome to work with from day 1. We planned our ceremony on the beach in Maui with him months in advance and he surely was one of the least stressful aspects of our planning!

We really wanted a small destination wedding to enjoy with our immediate family and very close friends. My husband is very close to his grandparents who would be unable to travel to Maui due to health reasons. We wanted to do a live webcast so my husband's grandparents would be able to watch the wedding as it took place. We bought the live webcast package and we have no regrets! We gave out cards over Christmas to our family and friends with the webcast address on it. Everyone was so excited to watch the wedding live and we were blown away by how many people tuned in to watch it live. We were able to wave hello to everyone at home which was awesome! We also have the video to enjoy for ourselves and it is a great keepsake. The process was so simple and we got the webcast address a few months before the wedding so we had time to share it with the people we wanted. If you are feeling unsure about having a destination wedding because lots of your extended family or grandparents can't make it, this is a great compromise for them.

tldr: If you're considering Stephan to be your wedding videographer, look no further! We looked through too many other videographers to count and could not be happier choosing Stephan and his team :) We decided to go with Stephan Boker after pouring through tons of online reviews and research. One reason we decided to go with Stephan was that other highly reviewed videographers we considered took on many clients (evident from the number of videos posted on their channels) and we felt that due to the sheer number of clients, the craft was not there. Generally, those videos felt more like a music video montage of happy people at a wedding. When watching all the various wedding videos online from various Maui wedding videographers, it became obvious that other vendors follows a cookie-cutter template for the videos they make and it didn't feel as personalized to the couple. Stephan, on the other hand, took the time to sit down with us to hear our story about how we met, intimately learned our background and what we wanted most out of our video. We were in touch for more than a year before our wedding. Stephan was pleasant to work with -- he even sent us helpful tips on how to write our letters and vows to tell our unique story. If it isn't clear from the other reviews and his website, his attention to detail and focus on the story of the couple in the video creates a timeless video that will stand the test of time, technology and trends. We got the 6 hour package, added on raw footage and 4K video quality. We ended up adding another hour day of the wedding for a total of 7 hours. Our Instacut was purely magical and the feature film was beautifully edited to help us relive the day over and over. I look forward to watching them every anniversary for years to come :) We are so glad that Stephan Boeker was our videographer and can't recommend him enough!

We were lucky to have Stephan filming our wedding. Stephan was very friendly and amazing to work with. We chose the simple package (1h). I was late on my big day but Stephan was very patient. He waited until he filmed everything. We had group pictures with our guests right after the ceremony. He waited till we finished the group pictures and then got us the post ceremony shots. Stephan captured all the special moments of our wedding. Turnaround time for video was very quick. Composition, timing and editing are all beyond our expectations. A wedding is supposed to be a little girl’s fairytale but Stephan captures the fairytale and turns the day into a motion picture of your love story. His ability to incorporate the day’s events from words to action is a testament of his attention to details and commitment to you. We eloped in Maui in October 2018, we unveiled our motion picture on Christmas Eve, we had to bring out the tissue box. Highly recommend Stephan!

Stephan was great from start to finish - (1) easy and prompt communication, (2) he scheduled a Skype call prior to our wedding to get to know us and be aware of any surprises to get on film, (3) on the day of the wedding he came - all smiles - so excited to help us capture the day. He went all out to make sure he got the best shots and stayed longer than we agreed on. I really felt that unlike other vendors, Stephan was truly an artist that was passionate about making our wedding day amazing. It showed with every second of our video. Thank you Stephan!!!!

We got married on Maui just last month, and video was something that we initially had not considered. Because it was just going to be the two of us, we decided to also add video for our friends and family. In the short time that we were with Stephan, we are completely blown away by the film he created. When they say his films are "cinematic wedding films" that is an understatement! I really never knew a wedding video could be so artful and beautiful. My mom was especially amazed at how wonderful the finished product was. Stephan and Chris did such an amazing job on our wedding film! Definitely worth the wait. We can’t stop watching it over and over again. Haha. We’re just in awe with all of the perfect moments that were captured. My husband and I got married in Oct 2016 at Makena Cove in Maui (beautiful and breathtaking hidden gem that is also a must-see!). We honestly weren't looking forward all that much to the video (and only because neither one of us is really that comfortable in front of the camera- we thought we would look a kind of awkward). We got the video and were seriously blown away by how great it is. Stephan edited the best, most natural looking, and flattering shots into our video. The music is perfect (we originally picked 2 songs, but they just didn't "go" with the video, so we asked him to change the music to his choice- we should have trusted him to begin with!), the entire ceremony is on it- which is perfect because we didn't have any family or friends come... not even our two daughters. We watched the video with our immediate family shortly after downloading it (about 1 month after our wedding) and our 6 year old cried so many happy tears it was unbelievable, which is a true testament to the emotion captured here. I can say, with 100% certainty, that this is the biggest bang for your buck and you will not regret hiring him!

I can't say enough about Stephan and his team. I hired Stephan as a last minute gift to my wife as she really wanted a videographer for our wedding. He was also recommended by my wedding coordinator. Stephan was very responsive. He worked with immediately and gave me a customize package that fit in my budget. He was very flexible. We got married in Maui, HI at Olowalu Plantation House. On the day of the wedding, he made me and my wife feel very comfortable. He was very professional and friendly. He worked well with my photographer to get things done. He even stayed an extra half hour to film my thank you speech to my friends and family. He went above and beyond. Fast forward a couple weeks. When we received our wedding video, me and my wife absolutely loved it. Stephan did such a great job helping us recollect our wedding day. My wife watched it so many times already and I was so glad that I chose Stephan him. His service is A++ and would definitely recommend couples to consider his service if your looking for a wedding videographer.

Stephan did an excellent job! Neither my husband nor I are comfortable in front of the camera but I didn't even know he was there during the ceremony and he worked so well with our photographer that I felt I had nothing to worry about. I highly recommend his services! He's great at communication too!

Stephan (and crew) were absolutely amazing before, during, and after our wedding. Communication was great in the planning phases, and we met face to face before the wedding to go over any specific shots we may want on our special day. Speaking of, Stephan was so great on our wedding day! He was a pleasure to have around and ended up getting a ton of incredible shots for our video. The video turned out amazing and absolutely captured the spirit of our wedding! The production value of the video is unmatched with anything else out there for a great price! Stephan is amazing! We recently received our video and it was so amazing, we've watched the video countless times and it's been less than a week. The film: Simply gorgeous. He was able to capture everything that i felt that day: the people in our wedding, the ambience, gorgeous weather and location. The entire film told a beautiful and cohesive story of our day Communication & flexibility: Stephan kept us in the loop the entire time on when we should expect to receive our video. We wanted to make some personal changes to the video (e.g., add even more of my mom) and he was able to add that quickly Personality: Since we booked through our amazing wedding planner and we were busy, we didn't get to talk to Stephan until the wedding. No fear, he is very easy to work. We're not used to getting a video of ourselves taken and feel a bit awkward, but he put us at completely at ease

Stephan did a great job at our wedding on Maui. We are so happy about the video he made. He is a very cool person and speeks perfect German. As we are from Germany it was really nice to communicate with him in German and explain our wishes to him. Stephan is really experienced. After our wedding ceremony there were quite a few people on the beach but the way he did the video it looks as if we were there completely by ourselves. We were very amazed when we saw the video! Stephan did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding video. He was also kind enough to come to our room at the Grand Wailea and film some behind-the-scenes footage as we prepared for the wedding including some great clips of my two young boys. It was such a pleasant experience having stephan work at our wedding. He was courteous, very professional and discreet getting those moments captured at our wedding. Though It wasnt until a few weeks that we finally received a feature film and saw the hard work he put into the project, he kept in communication providing us with updates. Stephan did an amazing job documenting our wedding day! We got to meet with Stephan through FaceTime before the big day and it was clear that he listened to our story and told it beautifully through his camera lens (having a drone made it look that much cooler!). Stephan is amazing! He filmed our wedding at Olowalu Plantation House. He was very professional and made sure to get all of the important shots. He also had some fun ideas for getting more unique video, which turned out to be some of our favorite parts of our wedding video!
