She did all of the major tasks such as contacting my vendors, creating a timeline, and coordinating the wedding party, flawlessly. She also did little (yet amazing) things like carry my makeup in her purse for me to touch up when needed, and wrapping up cake and putting it in our refrigerator to have after the wedding. Stephanie is very thorough and took the time to go over the whole itinerary with us and understand where people were supposed to be at what time and did a site visit with us to familiarize herself with the venue. She took care of other details such as ensuring cards/gifts from guests made it up to our room, ushering guests into the ceremony and reception, and making sure the speeches and reception program ran on time and smoothly--it was very helpful to have there to take care of these details and anything else that came up. I highly recommend her--she will keep things organized and on track so you can enjoy your wedding!

ow to do it after it's already over, so I was getting overwhelmed with hoping I hadn't forgotten anything I didn't know I was forgetting. Stephanie was referred to us by my cousin, who had been married the previous year, and even though I lived outside of her usual location range, she was so accommodating with driving out to see us, visiting the venue, and always being accessible and immediately responsive via cell phone or email. She gave me packets full of all the questions and decisions I would need to answer and address and kept me on track with knowing exactly how prepared I actually was. On the day-of, she not only made sure that everyone (vendors and guests) was where they needed to be at any given time, but if she saw that any small oversights had been made (the florist forgot to transport something to the reception, for instance), she was quick not only to notice the problem, but fix it herself. She made sure the gifts were all loaded into the correct car before the end of the evening, she kept the timeline moving steadily throughout the day, she was in contact with all of my vendors, knew who was who on the team, made sure everyone was on the same page, and she kept and distributed the checks for me to make sure everyone was paid. I was able to be relaxed and enjoy my day because I knew that she was on top of any and all small problems that would arise. Her documents are well prepared enough to ensure that any problems would be kept to a minimum. She is also a very sweet person and a pleasure to talk with and be around. I couldn't recommend her services more highly!

I knew I made the right decision when I chose Stephanie as my Wedding Planner. I work a pretty stressful job and work long hours, so it was important to me that Stephanie had great communication (both email and via phone). I always heard back from Stephanie no longer than a few hours after contacting her. She was great with keeping me on track of hitting deadlines and sending me friendly reminders to get things done - without smothering me. If you are looking for a Wedding Planner that will listen to what you want on your special day and make that day happen picture perfect, Stephanie is your lady. Something that I really appreciated about Stephanie is she allowed me to make my own decisions, but would give advice and her opinion when I asked. She has great connections with other vendors and has been in the business for a respectable amount of years - she knows what she's doing!! Stephanie is amazing with logistics and organization. Not only did she work with me, but she coordinated with each of my vendors, husband, mother, and mother in law. Not to mention, Stephanie's prices were amazing and her quality was impeccable! I can't speak more highly of Stephanie!!! Honestly - this is the first review I've ever written, and I didn't think twice about referring Stephanie to any future brides!! I promise, you won't go wrong with Stephanie.

e me, you crafted a million different things that needed set up at the wedding. Stephanie takes care of all of that. We did a thorough walk through of the wedding at the venue the week before the wedding, which was very helpful. At the rehearsal, I gave Stephanie all of my crafts (programs, guest book, votives, tons of things) and told her where I wanted them. She walked us through the rehearsal until we felt comfortable and people knew where they were going. She was able to keep the peanut gallery (family members who for some reason showed up at the rehearsal even though they weren't in the wedding) quiet, and helped keep everyone focused. The day of the wedding, Stephanie called me early to reassure me that it was going to stop raining (it did) and reassure me that everything was going smoothly. She had given a timeline to all of the vendors, telling them when to arrive and set-up - that was a wonderful thing to take out of my hands. I was able to just focus on hair/make up, crying with my mom, and getting excited about me wedding, instead of worrying about if the florist had arrived, where the cupcakes were going, etc. She directed the entire ceremony, telling the band when to play, sending the bridal party down, making sure the groom didn't see me, etc. She handled all of the small disasters that occur at weddings - my dress got ripped during the horah, and she was ready with a needle and thread to fix me up. She then packed up and cleaned up the venue after the reception. Overall, she significantly decrease my wedding day stress and allowed me to focus on enjoying my big day!

She explained her services clearly and provided several options for how far her involvement in planning and coordinating could extend, but also made it clear that she could be flexible for us. Being in the event planning business in the Maryland area for over ten years meant that she already had access to information regarding vendors we could hire, etiquette to use, budgeting plans, timelines to follow, and other countless details we had little time to research. She stayed in consistent communication with our vendors, making sure all parties were clear in their expectations, and making sure plans happened as they should. Stephanie is an excellent communicator; she asked the right questions to get the best picture of what our vision was for our wedding. She caught all the details – big and small. I felt certain nothing would escape her attention. I could tell she kept track of our information (our wishes, needs, plans, contributions, budget) as well as that of the other vendors and coordinated accordingly. The day of the wedding and the days leading up Stephanie was both calm and deliberate. If something came up (“something” always does I’m sure, in any event), she consulted me only if it was of utmost urgency – otherwise she was able to deal with it herself and let me know later. Thankfully nothing big went differently than planned, which is incredible considering how fast everything had to fall into place with three months of planning. Stephanie is very friendly, personable, and caring. I knew throughout the process that she highly valued my input and cared very much about whether my husband and I were happy with how plans and the wedding were going. We got to spend some time with her visiting vendors and venues, and I must say that they were some of my favorite times of the planning process. In summation: I would and do recommend to everyone I know to hire Stephanie for any event planning needs. I knew my mother and I would be far too stressed to plan my wedding no matter how long my engagement would be, and I loved knowing that I could trust Stephanie to put the wheels in motion for a ceremony and reception we would cherish always.

My husband & I had lightly tossed around the idea of a wedding planner but figured we could muddle our way through the process ourselves; yeah, right! We're not from the area and had moved here from CA one year prior to our wedding day. We were 100% clueless about reliable vendors. We'd been to several wedding shows in Los Angeles to get a feel of what this whole wedding thing was all about. When we moved to MD, we went to a few more and felt disappointed with them all. We begrudgingly decided to attend another bridal show near Linthicum. We are SO glad we went. Standing out like the calming, elegant, and kind woman she is, Stephanie pleasantly greeted brides as they wandered past her booth. A few spoke with her, but the site was so impossibly loud from sample DJ's across the room not many couples could talk to ANY of the vendors, let alone Stephanie. It was her reassuring smile that drew me in. We spent only five minutes with her, relaying stories of our recent move, the fall date of our planned nuptials, the colors and elegant evening & candlelight style we had in mind, that we'd yet to find a church or venue, and somehow about our dog and that my finance loved to cook! Stephanie was SO friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate of our confusion about local vendors because of our recent move. She gave us her business card, told us to give her a call if we felt that we needed help and bid us a warm goodbye. NO Pressure! That was such a Wonderful change from everything else out there! Fast forward several months... my husband and I went to another bridal show, this one being put on by the Association of Bridal Consultants, I believe. This was definitely a show of a higher caliber, not the tag 'em and bag 'em shows we'd been to before. Well guess who we saw there? Stephanie! With a smile as bright as ever, she greeted us warmly and to our complete shock, brought up topics we'd mentioned to her when we first met her...had we found a venue, how was the search going for the fall feel we wanted, etc. Needless to say, we were sold. We called her for an appointment the moment we got home. Fast forward about a year...Stephanie's help was priceless. She pointed us to a wonderful (and affordable) florist, the best baker on the East Coast (http://www.artisticdesserts.com), offered innumerable ideas for color & style, and even helped me secretly find a bagpiper to surprise my husband as we entered our reception venue; oh, and did I mention, she did all this while growing a beautiful baby? She was 8 months pregnant on our big day! Stephanie Day was a godsend for all the reasons stated above, but mostly for her compassion, the obvious love for job, her creativity, and her uncanny skill for making brides feel secure in crazy times, and horrible ones too... My father died unexpectedly exactly one month before my wedding day; Stephanie was kind, gentle, loving, and understanding when I tried to hold myself together that last month.
