After hitting the top five bridal salons in KC we were left sad and frustrated. We kept upping the budget thinking we could find THE dress. I finally I thought we had to get out of the Downtown KC area. It just wasn’t fun. I left a message with Stephanie’s and she texted back. Talk about a breath of fresh air. No hard sales pitch, just the want to help. When we drove up my daughter was skeptical because the sign said Prom, so I pointed to the window and said look at the window it’s bridal. When we walked in we saw the cutest boutique. We were also shocked she gave us free range to look at all of the dresses. There was no stylist picking dresses she thought you would like. You get to choose what you put on. No where else did that happen. They gave us personal assistance and pricing of any changes or additional options while we shopped. Not only were the dresses gorgeous but there were adorable accessories, shower dresses, jackets, even lingerie. We came way under the budget that had steadily grown. That allowed my daughter to pick up extras. I am so happy Stephanie got back to us. If you want to have fun forget the downtown area and drive ten minutes out. We are sure happy we did. Looking for a black dress? Run! And Swifties she has a jacket for you!

LOVED my experience here and found my dream dress! My stylist was so kind throughout the entire experience and truly listened to what I had to say. On top of that, it was clear they made a big effort in finding us the best deals and never once tried to upsell me. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs a wedding dress!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Peyton was my stylist and from the beginning of the appointment, she took the time to get to know what I was looking for and was super helpful and engaged throughout the entire appointment. She helped me into all the dresses, got accessories, talked me through the options and professional advice and to really make the bridal dress shopping experience so memorable was when I knew which dress I wanted, Peyton played through the entire salon the song I am walking down the isle to and it was a very emotional moment and something I will cherish with my parents that I brought with me. Even after the first appointment, she gave me her direct contact number and was beyond kind and helpful in scheduling an appointment to pick up my dress! She made time for me on a busy Saturday just for me and my bridal party to come and have the experience of showing them all. I couldn’t be more thankful I got to find my dress here and work with all the amazing staff!

My Dress shopping day was July 30, 2023. I had booked two bridal boutiques that day and brought my maid of honor and bridesmaids. Stephanie’s was our first stop. When I walked in, Megan greeted me and got started on my preferences and paperwork. While I was talking to her, my girls were picking out dresses. I let each of my girls pick out a dress. I tried on four dresses, and fell in love with the first one. when I thought I had my mind made up, Megan asked if I would be open to trying just ONE more dress on. When she showed me the dress, I thought to myself, “I will try on this dress just to keep an open mind, but I can tell it’s not my style.” When I came out of the dressing room with that dress on, my girls’ jaws dropped. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I fell in love with it. I asked the girls if I should try the first one back on, to make sure and they said no, this one was THE ONE. We still had another appointment to get to, and even though I wanted to cancel it, again, I wanted to keep an open mind. So we went ahead and went to the second bridal boutique. The whole time I tried on dresses at the second place, I couldn’t stop thinking about the dress at Stephanie’s. That same day, 10 minutes before they closed I walked back into Stephanie’s and bought my dress. Megan was amazing to work with, super sweet, knowledgeable, very helpful, and patient. How often do you go wedding dress shopping and your consultant ends up picking the dress you actually fall in love with? A dress you wouldn’t have ever picked out on your own? I would say, Megan definitely knows what she’s doing and I couldn’t be more thankful for her finding that dress and bringing me out of my comfort zone and in to something, I had no idea, I would feel so comfortable in. Aside from the great customer service, I was in love with the whole place! 🤩 Very elegantly decorated and so cute. Thank you Megan and Stephanie’s Bridal for such an amazing and unforgettable experience. I can not wait to share my photos with you all from my big day, come March 2024. 🤍

Stephanie's Bridal was a wonderful experience from start to finish! They offered a wide variety of styles at a reasonable price and provided a fun shopping experience. My consultant, Loren, was extremely knowledge and helped find a dress fitting to my body type and personality. They made for a relaxed and stress free experience, from shopping, ordering my dress, to pick up!

I had the most amazing experience at Stephanie’s Bridal Boutique they have the most gorgeous selection of dresses in inclusive sizes! The staff was super attentive, kind, and extremely helpful especially my stylist Loren! They do everything possible to take care of their brides and make them feel special! Highly, highly recommend! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Stephanie’s Bridal is the coolest best friend you never knew you needed as a bride!

Peyton was my stylist at Steph’s, and she did a great job of listening to what I wanted and pulling dresses that matched that. She even had me try on a few I didn’t think I would like just to be sure, which I appreciated. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the process of trying dresses on, which can honestly be overwhelming. I bought my dress off the rack from Steph’s and was able to take it home the same day. I was looking for something on the simpler side with no lace, and I will say at the time, Steph’s didn’t have a ton of options. However, I was still able to find the perfect dress for me. The prices are quite reasonable, and Peyton respected my budget.

I found my dream dress at Stephanie's! I had been searching for weeks and became discouraged that I wasn't finding a dress that checked all of my boxes. I was coming to terms that it might be impossible to find my dream dress until I walked into Stephanie's! All of the girls working there are so nice and make you feel so confident while trying on dresses. They are not pushy at all and do not rush you or pressure you into getting something that you are not completely happy with. You can tell that the brides happiness is top priority. They had the perfect dress and it had everything I was looking for and then some! It was absolutely gorgeous! It fit into my wedding vision and I even based a lot of wedding decisions off of the dress. I wish I could wear my dress on a daily basis! Not only did I find the perfect dress but I also didn't break the bank! Thank you for helping me find the dress of my dreams and for making me feel absolutely beautiful along the way! You all are the best!

I thought I had found the perfect dress elsewhere, but when I showed them a picture, they put me in a similar dress that I absolutely fell in love with! My biggest priority was comfort and man, it was so stinking comfortable! I was happy to wear it all day long! I even went to an after party after the reception and kept it on. I was able to dance the night away comfortably and literally felt like a princess.

I cannot thank the ladies at Stephanie’s Bridal Boutique enough! It was a wonderful experience finding my dream dress, I was never stressed out or overwhelmed at any instance. My stylist asked several good questions to determine my style preferences and was able to pull several selections that were very flattering. Once I found The Dress, they were so helpful with the ordering process and were able to suggest several reputable tailors in the area for alterations (at the time of my dress purchase, there was not an in-house alterations service). Thank you so much for your help in making my wedding day perfect with the perfect dress!

I would HIGHLY recommend any bride to visit Stephanie's to shop for their wedding gown!! The entire experience was so much fun and stress free. The staff were all so friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my bridal, bridesmaid, and tuxedo appointments. I found the perfect wedding dress and attire for our wedding party at Stephanie's. I will definitely be recommending Stephanie's Bridal Boutique to anyone whenever I get the chance!!!

I purchased my dress from Stephanie's in February, and it was the best experience! I actually ended up picking the first dress I tried on! The consultant that helped me, was super helpful and listened to all my concerns and wants. When family members had some not so nice opinions, she backed me up 100% and told me I looked beautiful. The dress selection was amazing as well! I wish I could've bought 5! Pricing was extremely fair as well. I highly recommend Stephanie's Bridal for all your needs! For the whole bridal party!

I got my wedding dress at Steph's in December 2020. The dress was able to be ordered that day and it arrived in store the next week! I enjoyed the shopping experience, I tried on dresses I wouldn't have chosen for myself and ended up picking something very different than I expected but I felt beautiful! Steph's really had a good variety of dresses to try on. The one thing I didn't love was the pink plastic bag that the dress arrived in, I would love a nice fabric zippered bag. But overall, I loved getting my dress from a local shop and the dress was absolutely gorgeous, I felt very special wearing it!

If you want to feel special - go somewhere else. The consultant acted not prepared for my appointment at all. I was given a brief overview of what dresses were located where and was sent to pick out my own dresses. I picked a few that were my style, then had to wait for her to come from the back to help me try them on. She spent the bulk of my appointment either in the back or upstairs looking for “a dress I would just love” but “insert excuse here.” My maid of honor that was with me ended up helping me in & out of most of the gowns I did try on. At one point the consultant was trying to get me to agree to try on a dress that someone else had put a deposit down on. That dress would be way too small for me and I told her there’s no way I would try on another brides dress and risk ruining her gown bc I tried to squeeze in it. Just super unprofessional to suggest it if you ask me. I’d never felt less special at a bridal shop than I did here. Save your time and book an appointment somewhere else.

My experience was nothing short of amazing! The entire staff at Stephanie’s was so welcoming and helpful. Loren was my bridal stylist and she was incredibly helpful and patient. Per her suggestion, I tried on a style I thought I would hate and absolutely loved it (and said yes to the dress). Staff was clear on pricing, payment options and shipping information. I am so happy that I chose Stephanie’s for my wedding gown!

As soon as I walked in the door, I felt so comfortable and relaxed. Everyone that worked there was so nice. Loren helped me try on all the dresses we selected, which was very helpful. When I found the one, she understood that nothing was going to beat it. We will defiantly be going back there for my bridesmaids dresses as well as vests for all the guys. I love this place!

I had the most amazing experience here out of any bridal shop I went to. The second I walked into the store I knew I wanted to say yes to my dress here. Her store is so cozy and the staff was very helpful and informed me of everything I needed to know about finding my perfect dress! My consultant helped me in and out of my dresses and listened to what I was liking and disliking to help find what I was looking for. I specifically wanted a fitted dress with an open back and she asked if I would just try a ball gown on since I hadn’t tried one on yet so I agreed to and believe it or not I ended up falling in love with that ball gown she pulled for me! She helped me go out of my comfort zone and knew what would look best on my body to make me feel beautiful on my special day. I couldn’t be more thankful for her help as well as the rest of the team members that were by my side cheering me on as i said yes to my dress. I had special ordered my gown and they measured me very privately knowing size measurements can be uncomfortable around other people, and went over my measurements with me to make sure I was okay with that size before ordering. It came absolutely perfect and all I needed was a hem, which they told me I would need. I had also purchased the pressing and layaway package which kept my dress safe in her store until my wedding day which was a year and a half away at that time. They called me as soon as my dress came in and made an accessories appointment for me to try on veils, jewelry, etc. and it was so perfect. She has the biggest selection of veils and offers custom made veils as well. They found the most amazing jewelry to compliment my dress so well. Thank you Stephanie and her team for the amazing experience I had here, I will be referring everyone here!!

The girls at Stephanies made me feel like their best friend the moment I walked in. My consultant Loren went above and beyond to help me find my perfect dress even though I had a long list of things I had to have! She was extremely patient with me and made me feel so special during my appointment. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dress go to Stephanie’s! You won’t be disappointed.

getting my dress from Stephanie's was the best experience! We purchased a gown off the rack during one of their birthday sales and it was such a smooth process. I purchased my dress in August 2018 and they kept it for me until I was ready to start alterations in July of 2019. my stylist is actually the one who picked my dress! I tried on easily 10 dresses that day, and she listened to my concerns about each dress and knew which one was my perfect gown! I'm so glad I came here and will forever recommend Stephanie's!

I had the most amazing experience here! At other bridal salons I had no sense of direction and I didn't feel like they truly cared what I choose. Courtney helped me at Stephanie's and she gave me recommendations and helped me find dresses in the styles I loved. Stephanie's had various sample dress sizes which was so wonderful because I had problems in the past not being able to fit in the sample sizes. I loved my experience here and I will always recommend Stephanie's Bridal!

We went to several bridal stores and I tried on tons of dresses. There were a lot of pretty ones but nothing I loved. Then I went to Stephanie's. I found multiple dresses I loved! Now the problem was choosing between them! There was a great selection and many were very affordable. I was able to purchase off the rack and stay within my budget. The dresses there were all so pretty! The staff was also great. Several other places were very pushy and tried to get me to go outside of my budget and told me the dress would be gone if I didn't get it that day. There was none of that at Stephanie's! They were perfectly fine with me being indecisive. They really just wanted me to find my perfect dress. The staff was very helpful and patient. I would highly recommend Stephanie's!

I had the best experience buying my wedding dress at Stephanie’s. They made me feel so special as a bride, accommodated my large group and even let my Matron of Honor bring in champagne to celebrate saying yes to the dress. When I wore my dress on my wedding day I felt so incredibly beautiful and it was absolutely perfect. Stephanie’s has a huge selection and a knowledgeable staff to help you find the perfect dress just for you. I recommend booking a bridal appointment with them to find the one!

I’m only giving one star because we have to give something to leave a review. The women in this store are beyond rude and unprofessional. I had an appointment and not one person assisted me at that appointment. They were all helping walk-ins instead. My maid of honor ended up finding a dress and a belt. However, we were told we could order the belt new with the dress, and then when we went to pick up the dress they had no idea we had even ordered a belt, despite the fact that it was on our receipt. Then, they were unable to order the belt and provided us with the belt off the rack telling us it was new when it was clearly missing rhinestones. Furthermore, the seam of the dress was coming loose when we picked it up and we were told to have a seamstress fix it. I decided to sell my maid of honors dress because of its poor quality so that we can find her a new one. I was very disappointed. Before I had picked up my maid of honors dress I had planned on buying all of my bridesmaids dresses here. However, they told me they wouldn’t size my other bridesmaids until they put 50% down on a dress. They were all leaving the country/state for the summer and weren’t ready to pay. They just wanted their sizes so they could call in and order when they had the money. The ladies were so rude about this and were not understanding at all.

Great experience! Everyone was so helpful when I was deciding what dress to purchase. Not happy that most of the inventory is lace since I'm not big on lace dresses but never the less, I was able to find the one. :)

I could not have asked for a better experience! After some terrible experiences with my first dress bought, I was put on a tight budget to find a new dress in a short amount of time. The girls were so great in getting me an appointment and finding my dream dress in my new budget! I wish I would’ve have gone to Stephanie’s from the start!!!

I am Bethany Hardings Mom. All we wanted was a great wedding dress buying experience and instead we were lied to and all I did was ask why I was being charged 99 dollars for holding the dress for one day. I was told Stephanie didn't want to come and discuss it and I would not be refunded. Then the credit we were given to influence our decision to purchase the dress is now being called a made up credit although it was printed at the top of our receipt. All I did was ask for the credit promised to us as stated on our receipt and we were given lies and attitude, as well as hatefulness. Very unethical practices at this shop and when you question why they are overcharging, you get treated like trash. Unbelievable that a business owner would write a review calling my daughter and I bullies, making up lies just to make herself look better. Stay far away from this place. We did nothing to deserve to be treated this way. Never in a million years would we bully anyone or have anyone in tears. That was a blatant lie and deformation of character.

I highly recommend NOT going to Stephanie’s Bridal Boutique! My experience looking for a wedding dresses was okay, I found one I liked and decided to get it. What the owner told us and what they tried to do when we paid for the dress was completely different! They tried to over charge and charge us for a service we no longer needed. When my mother asked questions about why she was having to pay that price the OWNER said “I’m not sure why your upset and being rude”. When my mom was calm, wasn’t cursing and was just seeing why we had to pay extra $99 because they held it ONE day after receiving it because I was told I needed an appointment. We were also told that the owner is too busy for stuff like this. This company’s customer service is awful, if I didn’t already pay half of the dress when we said ‘yes’ to the dress then I would have said forget it and walked out. The owner only started being nice once other customers started gathering around. We were in no way being loud or rude and the owner raised her voice and talked to us, the customer as if we were stupid. Whatever you do, save yourself the frustration and embarrassment and go elsewhere. If you look at google they have a TON of the same horrible experiences.

Stephanie and her team are really sweet and there are beautiful gowns under $1000...which was a big plus! If you are buying off of the rack (here or anywhere), make sure to really inspect the dress. Mine had several additional tares that I did not see until after my purchase, which could make reselling my dress difficult.

I had such a great experience at Stephanie's and all the girls were so bubbly, energetic, and helpful! They made the experience light-hearted and fun and took any and all pressure away. It was actually the first place I went and I ended up going to 5 others before we went back to Stephanie's. What I liked most was it was smaller and more intimate rather than a large corporation/ business feel. I felt they were invested in me and finding the dress I felt most confident it. Loved them!!

The staff were incredible here. I found the dress that was perfect for me, and even though I tried on a lot I never once felt rushed to “say yes”. It was such a joy to have the space and time to find my dress with my mother and bridesmaids with me! Our stylist worked seamlessly with the group and helped narrow down dress choices until it felt right!

Stephanie’s was the first place that I tried on dresses for my wedding. I had NO idea what to expect. Holly looked at some pictures of dresses I had with me and chose a selection of dresses she thought I’d like based on that. She fed off my reactions, feedback and look and knew what to and what not to put me in next. She was very personable and knowledgeable and never pressured me to buy! I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. I was given her FULL attention for 2 hours. I left and went to another bridal appointment and was SO disappointed. I was not treated as I was at Stephanie’s. It was not comfortable like it was at Stephanie’s. My wants and likes we’re not listened to at all. I left and went straight back to Stephanie’s and bought MY DRESS ❤️ I recommend you start with Stephanie’s and you end there! They deserve the business and will make you feel like the beautiful bride you are 👰🏼💍

I feel so bad for taking so long to write a review. This store and staff are genuine people. They treat you like you are spending three thousand dollars on a dress (mine was under $1000 shhh don’t tell) even if you’re not! Their prices blew my mind when comparing to the gown gallery or “bride” downtown. My dress was perfect. I will SO send all my future “bride” friends here.
