We hired Sterling Catering for our annual fundraiser and their service was AMAZING! They surpassed all of my expectations, and their staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was also beyond what I expected. Sterling has a great menu with several culturally diverse options! I highly recommend them for your next event.

We hired Sterling catering for our wedding July 2024. They were absolutely amazing during the entire process! It was easy to set up a tasting to pick out our menu for the wedding day. They were quick to respond to any questions. Lastly, the food was absolutely amazing! Every single one of my guests came up to my husband and myself at the wedding and could not say enough positive things about the food! I would absolutely hire Sterling catering again for any event I need!

The communication was outstanding, and they took the time to discuss our event's needs. The quality of the food provided by them was nothing short of spectacular.

We hired Sterling Catering for our wedding in August 2023. They were great to work with from initial contact to follow up after the event. My contact was Sarah Carter and she was super nice, very responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We tasted 3 other caterers and Sterling's food was by far the best and pricing was reasonable. They have a TON of great options for appetizers, it was really hard to choose! Unlike other places, the tasting was free and we got to try a lot of options. We got a ton of compliments from guests on the food and the portion size. We had pie for dessert from a local bakery and Sterling provided set up and service for us. They were also a preferred vendor at our venue, so it was great they were already familiar with the space and set up. I would highly recommend!

Sterling is my go to caterer. We have worked together on events as small as 20 up to 600 guests. They offer a wide variety of menu choices and budgets. They do a great job working in a variety of locations and thinking through the best way to serve and present the menu. They are my preferred caterer because they place a high value on partnering with their clients.

It was great working with Sterlings! They were so thorough, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also always responded promptly to any concerns I had! The food was presented very well and also tasted soooo good. Staff was very sweet and sophisticated!

We hired Sterling to cater our organizations annual Gala. The entire process was extremely convenient from the initial menu suggestions through the actual event itself. The staff at the event was amazing! They made sure the buffet tables were always maintained. Best of all was that we received so many compliments on the food. You all did a fabulous job, thank you! Sarah was amazing. She was so helpful during our tasting, and the chefs were very willing to make any adjustments to our food options. Sarah was also very communicative via email, and very prompt in her responses. The food the day of our wedding was excellent. We only heard raves from our guests. Everyone kept talking about how good the beef tenderloins were, and were so impressed that they received such huge pieces. We would 100% recommend Sterling Catering to anyone.

Sterling was wonderful to work with as our wedding caterer! My steak and my bride's salmon were delicious, and our guests only had great things to say (instead of what you often hear at weddings). 5 stars and would definitely recommend Sterling for their service and quality.

We loved the food at our wedding so much. Not only did it taste amazing but the staff was so professional and helpful throughout the whole night.

How disappointing! The food was so cold and not at all like we had at the tasting. I asked the "people" who were setting up what was done with the plates that were leftover for the dozen or so that did not show up. They said they would offer them to the front tables, but never did. When I called to find out what happened they were making excuses. Not what I wanted to hear at $73.03 per plate. They gave us a slight discount, nothing much when you think about all the cold food they served. Then to top it off the "servers" told the DJ he could take the leftover 5 dozen cupcakes. RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Do NOT go with this place, you will be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!

We hired Sterling Catering for our wedding on October 30th of this year. The food and drinks were amazing! We were able to do signature fall drinks that they hit out of the park. The food was perfectly cooked, flavors were amazing and they accommodated the few people who had food allergies wonderfully. Communication was also great, they answered all my questions in a very timely and friendly manner. The staff were very nice and we didn't have a single issue the whole night! I highly recommend them, they have a very large selection of food and you will find something for everyone.

We loved our food menu and the variety of options Sterling gave us. They were very receptive to our request for signature cocktails (apple cider bourbon smash & pomegranate palomas), and were kind enough to allow us a single entree option from Green Mill (Maple Dijon Chicken) that we absolutely adored at the tasting. Overall, the critiques are what you'd expect of any wedding; some of the food was dry, and because the food is made in bulk it's not *quite* as good as the tasting. We were really disappointed that two hours before our ceremony they informed us one of our appetizers, the apple brie crostini, had been hit with a recall and could not be served. Totally understood and was not their fault, though we were sad that there weren't any alternative options we could provide our guests with the amount of food we'd hoped. They refunded us quickly though, and the snag was small in the grand scheme of things! Staff was super kind and helpful throughout the evening. but we're still pretty happy with how the evening came together with Sterling's support.

We were provided Sterling Catering information for our wedding at The Yard in Moorhead, MN. We worked with Sarah Carter and utilize the pub menu, doing the build your own burger option with tots. The food was so great and the staff was amazing! Every guest was so happy with the food including the veggie burgers! 10/10 would recommend!

The team at Sterling was great to work with from the beginning to end! The process was smooth and everything went according to plan on the day of. The office staff was great, the on-site team was perfect and the guests loved the food!

Sterling Catering was a wonderful vendor partner for my wedding back in June 2022. Sarah Carter, our Catering Sales and Operations Manager/main contact for our event was such a delight to work with- she is incredibly timely and responsive in her communication, knowledgeable about different catering options, and friendly. The staff for our event day were professional, efficient, and effective. The quality of the food served was great! Our guests loved the passed appetizers and plated meals during our event. One thing that makes Sterling stand out is that they didn’t charge us a cake cutting fee for this service- which is atypical of other catering services I encountered who charge $1-2/per guest. Additionally, we did not see meal price increases as a result of COVID. Thank you Sterling Catering!

We hired Sterling Catering for a Co-Ed Wedding Shower attended by about 60 people. Katie and Sarah were awesome to work with. They were helpful, experienced, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Our guests commented several times about how delicious the food was! The selections were complimentary to each other and seasoned perfectly. The Stations were wonderfully inviting for people to approach and serve themselves whenever they wanted which was perfect for our event. The servers and bartenders were friendly and professional as well. I would definitely hire Sterling again in the future for special events.

My wife and I chose Sterling for our large wedding after looking into several catering companies and doing multiple tastings. Sterling was the best caterer, and was great all around. By all around I mean the apps, salads, entrees AND desserts were all spectacular. Not only that, but we were also able to customize some of their menu to match our vision. On the day of, they really delivered! Nothing was over or under cooked, and absolutely no one complained about the food. The Sterling team was very accommodating to our guests, as well as us, checking in with us multiple times throughout the night to see if we needed anything. My wife and I even got one of each hors d’oeuvre brought to us on a special plate prior to salads, which we both thought was a special touch seeing that we were both very preoccupied during the cocktail hour and had missed out. Shout out to Sarah and the rest of the Sterling team, we are so happy to have had you cater our wedding! Thank you so much!

We lost our original vendor two months prior to our wedding, and Sterling Catering was so amazing and flexible considering our tight timeline. We received so many compliments on our food, and my husband and I both thought the food at the wedding was even better than at our tasting. We couldn't have been happier!! I was also very happy with the wait staff. During cocktail hour, one of the wait staff would find me each time they had a fresh plate of food, which was so helpful since I was constantly being pulled in about five directions! The entire team at our wedding also helped us move indoors during dinner due to the extreme heat. I would absolutely recommend Sterling Catering to anyone looking for delicious food and wonderful service for their wedding!!

Dinners and apps were delicious and I heard only good feedback from guests! The buffet was set up nicely and everyone was able to get food in a timely manner. Staff were very professional and quick to respond to replace a dropped fork or fill a water glass. Our wedding day was exceptionally hot and humid, and the staff worked hard to make the food last with the heat, switching up how it was laid out and replacing trays more frequently. We had a mix-up with one meal, and I actually didn't even bring it up to our catering coordinator but she reached out very quickly and addressed any concerns. I appreciated the promptness and willingness to fix the problem! We worked with Sarah and Katie and they were both great!!

My husband and I were so very fortunate to have had a tasting for wedding before COVID-19. Sarah has been gracious and gone out of her way to be helpful at every step of the way, including talking over with us some of the new health regulations, adjustments to our guest list, and has been super responsive. She even helped me arrange a surprise for my hubby at the bed and breakfast we were staying at - despite pushing back our reception date, I thought it would be nice to still have our menu delivered as our first meal together as a married couple. Sarah even delivered a bottle of prosecco for us after the hubby mentioned he forgot to bring it for our room! I'm eternally grateful for her help, and I can't wait for our guests to share our wedding meal at our rescheduled reception coming up in April. Cross your fingers and wish us luck!!

Sterling Catering & Events was GREAT to work with for our September 19 wedding at The YARD! The food was greatly priced and delicious! Sarah worked with me to get everything set up just right, accommodating last-minute guest reductions as our guest count dropped due to COVID. They were even able to simply accommodate several gluten-free/vegetarian options for members of our bridal party. Sterling was great to work with!

Many times, plated wedding food is bland, boring and cold. NOT the case with Sterling Catering! We used them for our August wedding for appetizers, dinner, desert and late night food. Guests absolutely loved the food. It was flavorful and had variety! We worked with Sarah in the planning process (wonderfully understanding and patient in the middle of COVID-19) and she, along with catering and bar staff night-of were helpful, accomodating, and helped our night run without a problem! Pricing is transparent and affordable.

Sterling Catering was AMAZING. Can't stress this enough. We had a brunch reception with an omelette station, french toast bites, lobster bites, bagels and lox, and so much more. The food was great, we received so many compliments, and everyone left feeling very well-fed. Food presentation was great from beginning to end (they were great at condensing platters and refilling trays frequently, nothing ever looked "picked over", it always looked/tasted fresh), and the mimosas were PERFECT! The hot chocolate was delicious! But service is what puts Sterling. Sarah--our main point of contact after the first tasting--was on point with every detail, and always responded quickly to our emails. She was invaluable during the final walk-through. Our entire wedding was fairly last minute (planned within 3 months of the wedding day), so the prompt replies and detailed estimates were a god-send. The bartenders, chefs, and servers were top-notch. Everyone showed up a little early even with the EXTREME snowfall that morning. They had everything set up early, paced the food perfectly, and were happy to let us graze until the very end of the reception. Our reception ran smoothly, and we know Sterling was a big part of that!

We used Sterling for our bar service for our wedding. They were recommended to us through our wedding venue Watson Block. We looked at a lot of options and they had the most flexible bar pricing. The staff was very well organized and very easy to work with. We would recommend them to anyone!

I used Sterling for my wedding at the landmark center this August. They were incredibly organized and completed every request I had made. I so appreciate them going above and beyond to make my dinner run smoothly. And, to top it off the food was delicious! The biggest hit were the beef tenderloins and the bacon wrapped dates filled with goat cheese! Affordable, professional and tasty.

Everything prior to the night of the wedding was great. Communication, during the reception, could have been better in terms of what we talked about before hand in regards to the cake. Examples: The staff brought out the cake before we had our cake cutting. They also brought the head table the wrong cake. After the cake was eaten, they asked the bride if she had a box for the top cake that was going to be saved.

We picked the meal choices during a meal tasting - the hard part was narrowing it all down! At the reception, the food was a big hit! We went with a buffet - bacon crusted chicken and a vegetarian penne pasta. Our sides were roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts. The buffet also included a salad. The servers kept the buffet moving and were quick to clear plates or get what we needed. We were also able to order a la carte meals for our guests with specific dietary needs. There was plenty to go around. Affordable, professional and tasty.
