We worked with Mark at Sterling Productions, and had the most positive experience! He was so communicative and helpful in the lead up to the wedding. We asked him to play dance music, and to create a party atmosphere and he absolutely delivered. Our guests did not stop dancing until the last minute of our wedding, and so many people have reached out to us after to say he was the best wedding deejay they’d ever experienced. Couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Planning a destination wedding can have its challenges. DJ Mark made the experience easy and our wedding/reception music and lighting was perfect! His suggestions for timelines, music and lighting were on point. I appreciate that Sterling Productions could do both lighting and music as it truly compliments each other. Mark did an absolutely fantastic job pulling our wedding together with specific requests and in a way that really had the party going. The online portal is easy to use and there is good communication and responsiveness to portal messages or emails. There were a few last minute things that required some changes and a bit of stress, but at the end of the day it all came together and it was a fantastic evening

The DJ really can make or break your wedding, in our opinion. Mark made this wedding a party. He was super easy to work with us through the entire process and came HIGHLY recommended from the venue. We worked with him and their site to build out the playlist needed for the ceremony, entrances, and reception. Working with him, we also decided to add a lighting package which transformed the venue perfectly. We just had a youtube video of the song we wanted for our ceremony, and he managed to find a play it without any issues. All our must-play pieces made it to the wedding, including the Aggie War Hymn (not something we typically see outside Texas). As the MC, he kept things light and moving without feeling rushed through any particular spots. During our Mother/Son dances, he watched as we gave cues on when to end the song, which helped with my mom's mobility issues. After dinner, the venue transformed into the best dance hall/club you could have imagined. The music was perfect. There was no single second that the dance floor wasn't packed with the ideal selection to keep it going. Our music tastes are also super random, but it all worked. I wish I could have gotten the complete set written down to recreate it. We can't thank Mark and Sterling enough for making the event that much better!

Mark was the perfect DJ for us! With the music selections we made, Mark created seamless transitions throughout the ceremony and reception. All the songs we wanted to hear during the reception, he nailed it. The dance floor was full, and we didn't want the dance party to end!

Mark, the owner, was the most responsive of the vendors I worked with for my wedding. It was a pleasure creating my event lighting with him. Our DJ, Danny, was great and played such a good group of music that had all of our guests out on the dance floor all night. Thank you so much!!

Mark was our DJ with Sterling Productions, and he was absolutely incredible! We had a fairly young crowd at our wedding and wanted to make sure everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. Mark exceeded our expectations, and gave us the best party that we didn't want to end! He truly listened to the vibe we wanted and made sure we had the best night. They provide a user portal to provide all of our music preferences which was very helpful during the planning process. I was able to provide must play songs, as well as a do not play list to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend Mark and Sterling Productions!

DeVaughn was our DJ for our wedding day and he was so great! We had a lot of special requests for DeVaughn to follow and he did just that! He even called us a few times to make sure he understood our vision and instructions completely. DeVaughn was very attentive and paid attention to our guests and what the vibe was. Mark was the absolute best DJ ever! We had such an amazing experience working with him. We felt so heard with our timeline and music preferences. Our ceremony was mic’d perfectly, our reception timeline was directed by him flawlessly and our reception music was exactly what we wanted for a fun dance floor. We can’t recommend him enough!

Miguel was our wedding Dj. We were able to set up all the songs, details, and take care of our payments through their service portal which made it easy to modify song choices during the planning process. Miguel called me the week of the wedding to review the music details. We hired him for the ceremony and reception. His work with the ceremony was completely flawless. Before our grand entrance he came up to us and even brought us some drinks! Before the grand entrance he made sure we all knew what to do and that we were lined up. His professionalism and attention to detail was great and he was very friendly and easy to approach. He got tons of our guests on the dance floor and played great music. He was the best! Our guests had a great time thanks to him!

Our bustling dance floor full of our friends and family was one of our all time favorite parts of our wedding, and this was all because of the talent and energy of Miguel at the turntables! We had over 180 guests at our wedding of various ages and cultures, and Miguel kept at least 80% of them on the dance floor the entire time. So many of our guests have commented that we had the best DJ at our wedding, his music selection was on point, and our dance floor was lit! There were a few moments throughout our reception, when my husband excitedly asked me, "Can you believe this is our wedding??!!" We had the absolute best time at our wedding, and we couldn't thank Miguel enough for making it all possible.

Throughout our entire process Mark was such a joy to work with. He was very patient with us and made sure we got everything we wanted. DJ: perfectly nailed the sound we wanted for our party. He knew how to take some of our favorite songs and make it his own into one cohesive playlist, amazing DJ. As the MC he pushed the wedding along and made sure we did everything we wanted and stayed to time. Band: As the groom, I got a few of our buddies to be the "Band" and he made the process seamless and made us sound incredible. Amazing experience, couldn't recommend higher!

Mark was such an amazing DJ. He made our reception so much fun! He even sang a couple songs for us! He also did our ceremony and it was all perfect. I worked with Miguel through Sterling. Very professional, very nice. We used Sterling for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls. He will call a couple days prior to the wedding day to confirm everything with you and give a quick run down of what to expect from his part of the wedding. During and after the wedding, many of my guests came up to me to specifically say how great the DJ was with the reception/dance music. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, which is really all I wanted. So thank you Miguel and Sterling Productions for helping my wedding be so fun! Highly recommend!

Sterling Productions did an excellent job at our daughter's wedding. Our DJ was Miguel and he was very patient with me the Mother-of-the-Bride when I had a mini breakdown a few days before the wedding. He put my nerves and assured me everything would run smoothly. They handled all of the lighting for the reception which was beautiful, and the photo booth was very fun. The person running the photo booth even contacted me a few days before the wedding and asked about the theme of the wedding so they could coordinate the decoration on the photo strip with our theme. The mix of music was very good, our pastor who officiated at the wedding, and you know he sees a lot of weddings said it was the best DJ he had ever experienced.

Mark and Sterling Productions were absolutely amazing! They were so easy to work with. I really didn’t have to worry about a thing. You can certainly trust them 100% and leave it up to them to keep everyone on the dance floor. Every request was played, the transitions were smoothly and he was on it! He stuck to the timeline and everything went smoothly. Couldn’t have picked a better DJ. You cannot go wrong with Mark!

Sterling Productions is nothing short of amazing. We had our wedding at Leoness Cellars in Temecula, CA. Mark of Sterling productions was one of their preferred vendors-and it is very apparent why. Music and dancing was the top priority of our wedding and we had a wide variety of guests to entertain. We knew we needed Latin music, new hip hop, pop, and old school music to get everyone in our group on their feet. Mark did and incredible job of seamlessly integrating all genres and ensured everyone stayed on their feet dancing the night away throughout the entire event. There was never a dull moment. The dance floor stayed full and his song choices and transitions were all spot on. He also handled the lighting in the barrel room of our venue and the ceremony music. The lighting looked stellar to say the least. There is a lot of stress in planning a wedding and every time we spoke with Mark, he put our minds at ease with his professionalism and attention to detail. I would recommend Mark to everyone Mark, you did an amazing job, Lea and I were blown away. Thank you so much!

Sterling productions was absolutely amazing! The process was so easy. Go online, pick out a few songs for “first dance, bouquet toss, etc”, add a few more songs that you love and Mark takes it from there. Every song was a hit and my guests loved it! I highly recommend sterling productions!

Mark and crew are the ABSOLUTE BEST. My husband Chris and I got married 3 weeks ago and I still have friends and family reaching out about how amazing the wedding was, largely due to Mark and his team. They CREATED the party and kept it going all night long. They handled set up for the ceremony, for our reception both outside and inside and it all went seamlessly. I have never seen more people dance as long and as hard as with Mark on the DJ stand! Thank you!!!!

Amazing DJ! We didn't really have a clue of what we wanted, but Mark nailed it! They also set up lighting that set the perfect mood for our reception. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ or company to work with!

MARK IS THE MAN!!! He made our wedding so amazing! Everything was impeccable, from the draping and the awesome lighting, to the BAD ASS music! He is truly the best. Mark and his team were amazing. My wife and I had an outdoor wedding reception at our home. Mark new exactly what type of music to play to make our special day perfect. In addition, He went above and beyond by making sure our guest had a great experience and setting up-lights on trees around our property that gave us the look and feel of an expensive hotel or wedding venue. Mark was amazing!!! We got married in a state far from where we live and Mark answered emails and phone calls promptly as well as met with us a few days before the ceremony even though he had another event that night. He walked through with us all of our music choices and made sure we were completely happy with the music. He even verified music selections before the ceremony so everything would be perfect. Miguel with Sterling Productions was my DJ at my wedding at Highland Springs Ranch & Resort on April 22, 2017. In my wedding package this was the DJ that they contracted with. This being my first wedding I didn't know how important the DJ was! Miguel was amazing! He controlled the flow of the whole reception. He kept us all on schedule without rushing us & leaving plenty of time for opening dancing. The dance floor was so packed with his song choices! It was a night I will never forget! Mark at Sterling DJ-ed and MC-ed our wedding at Avensole Winery and also added much needed lighting to our sunset ceremony as well as some awesome up-lighting to our reception room. We got so many compliments on the job he did at the reception and he kept the dance floor packed the whole night with a crowd with ages ranging from 20s-70s. He even sang part of a song! He was easy to communicate with before the wedding and helped us with some songs . I would use him again for another event in a heartbeat!

Mark made our wedding unforgettable! We had so many people dancing not only on the dance floor but allll over the reception area. He played all of our requests plus he added music that fit perfectly for all different ages. We got quite a few compliments on the music selection. He even sang a song and it was AMAZING! Mark did an amazing job at our wedding! I would highly recommend him to anyone. Not only did he do our wedding but he also did my brother in laws wedding, and was outstanding at theirs as well. He kept the dance floor filled the entire night. He was able to read the audience and played the perfect music to accommodate everyone from my nieces and nephews, to my friends (in there 20's to 30's), parents, as well as grandparents. Every age group loved his choice in music. Almost a month after the wedding I still have people telling me how great the music was, and how much fun they had at the wedding. Mark is very professional, outgoing, and energetic. He even sang a song for us! Also, make sure you ask about his GOBO's he offers. We had our names projected onto the dance floor which made our day that much more special. He also did uplighting for the reception. I really liked how he was able to also drop pins of light to light up our wedding cake, as well as some of our pictures. I know how important reviews are, as thats what I looked at when booking my vendors, which is exactly why I feel it is important to let everyone know how great Mark is. If you haven't booked a DJ yet, look no further, and book Mark!!!! You won't regret it :)

If you're wondering if you should hire Sterling Productions to DJ your wedding, the answer is absolutely, definitely YES! Mark and his team were incredible. Not only do they have great taste in music and will be sure to play all the best songs, but they keep your wedding going and Mark acts as emcee. You don't realize how important it is to have someone do this at your wedding until you've been to a wedding where the DJ does not keep things rolling. Mark set a great pace, said the right things at the right time, pronounced everybody's name correctly (and we had some challenging names!) and bonus, he has an accent so he automatically makes your wedding more classy! Definitely go with Sterling Productions, we could not be happier with the outcome!

I can't say enough good things about DJ Mark!!! He communicated with me so great over the course of my engagement and he listened to all my song choices and do not plays! I got so many wonderful compliments about our wedding music and everyone was up dancing all night! His lighting also made our venue look amazing. Would highly recommend him!

From the first phone call with Mark, I got a good vibe from him. He had a refined, professional tone, but was also laid-back and down to earth. He had the experience and confidence we were looking for, but also was willing to customize every detail based on our preferences. Upon meeting Mark in person, I connected with him as a music lover. My fiancee and I explained that we had an extensive list of song requests and he was delighted to honor those. All throughout the planning process, Mark was always reachable via email or phone, and was happy to chat and answer any questions we had along the way. He thoughtfully listened to our song choices and offered great insights. He even coordinated with our live guitarist to create the best set-up for the ceremony music. On the day of the event, Mark did not disappoint. The wireless microphones Mark clipped on to me (the groom) and our officiant worked flawlessly, and our videographer remarked that it was the best sound he's ever heard during a ceremony. When it came time for cocktail hour and dinner, Mark honored our requests and created an awesome playlist from the songs we sent him. And finally, the most important part of the evening - the open dance floor. This is where you really need a DJ who knows how to sense what the crowd is feeling, and which songs they're responding to. Mark incorporated our song choices and kept the dance party going from the moment the floor opened until the last song of the night. People of all ages were packed on the dance floor from start to finish. In fact, we decided on the spot to skip our cake cutting and bouquet toss because we didn't want to stop dancing. The bottom line is that Mark knows what he's doing, and is an expert not only with the technical aspects, but also the artistic aspects of the evening (including an amazing lighting set-up). He was an ideal DJ, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a true professional and artist.

Mark and Steve were amazing! From the time we contacted Mark last summer until our wedding day he was very responsive and we were able met several times in person. You feel like you are long time friends every time you talk to him. Almost all of our guests came to California from Ohio and they have not stopped talking about how great the reception was and that they did not want the night to end. Mark's use of lighting options made the barrel room at Mount Palomar Winery absolutely stunning! We asked each of our guests on the RSVP to pick a song that would get the on the dance floor. Mark took that list and played almost every song plus got everyone on the dance floor all night long! Thank you Mark! We could not have imagined our day going any better!

We were absolutely thrilled to have Miles Pelky with Sterling Productions as our DJ and Master of Ceremonies for our wedding. He was so attentive to us and made sure we were taken care. (Even when a guest was sobbing with happiness all over my shoulder and pulling on my vail, Miles was to the rescue.) He engaged with the guests throughout the evening and had the guests dancing ALL night long! Every song he played kept the evening entertaining, even while we slipped out for pictures. Our guests never knew we were gone! I would HIGHLY recommend Miles and Sterling Productions to anyone! Great Job.

Mark at Sterling Productions did a wonderful job. He walked us through the song selections and had lots of great suggestions. I choose only songs he suggested. The company also did our lighting for the reception and music/microphones for the ceremony. He knew exactly what kind of music to play to get everyone dancing! My one VERY minor complaint was his English accent was a little difficult to understand over the mic at times, but there are many DJs at the company to choose from and Mark did a wonderful job.

As we planned our wedding one of the most stressful details for me was picking the right DJ. We wanted our reception to be a hit and a lame DJ would be deadly. We looked through Yelp reviews, talked to companies that came with referrals, and ultimately decided on Sterling. Working with Mark was great. He really stood out from the pack with his prompt and courteous follow up. The online program he uses is terrific, allowing you to take your time figuring out your music on your own time, communicate with your DJ, and make payments all online. Our actual DJ was Devaughn. We could not have asked for anyone better. He was professional, unobtrusive (my highest compliment for any vendor), and gave us exactly what we wanted during our reception. He had everyone on the floor having a great time! I cannot recommend Sterling, Mark, and Devaughn enough. If you're looking for a DJ at least give them a chance to wow you like they did us!

Best DJ EVER!! He was so awesome and played such great music the whole time! My wedding was country but i didn't pick any country music for anything and Mark threw some into the mix and it was so great! Everyone was dancing the whole entire night! It was so much fun and he's such a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend him to everyone and would use him again in a heart beat!!

We loved working with Mark. He was very quick to respond to my questions and made suggestions when we needed them. He also took out some time to meet in person with us and meet us half way between our home and his office. I only had a couple of songs that I did not want played and he stayed mindful of them. The sound and music was great for our event.

Our DJ was great, but definitely had some fubs up. He played my fater daughter song for our first dance and I had to tell him. And just not a lot of smooth transitions between some songs

Mark Davies with Sterling Productions was the DJ/Emcee for my ceremony and reception. His sound system was good and he was decent with keeping people entertained, but he did not follow the plan we made. I had sent him a plan detailing the timeline I had made with the day-of-coordinator and the outline for the music/announcements during the event. Then we had a phone call discussing what was in this plan/timeline I sent where he could have addressed any questions/concerns/desired changes, etc. And I had tried to contact him many times before the wedding and only got a response once after we paid our booking fee. Before we had booked him, he was available to talk all the time. Great with the sell, bad with the follow through. Even though I'd tried to communicate with him several times before, he didn't call me until the day before the wedding, when I was wildly running around putting last-minute stuff together and while he was rushing to another event and only had a small window to talk. First, he didn't play the correct music type during cocktail hour/dinner. My husband actually came up to me during the cocktail hour while we were mingling and asked "What is he playing? I thought we decided on _____" - which was his only specific genre request he had for himself. Then, during dinner, the music again was wrong. My husband again questioned "Is this what you asked for." I responded that it wasn't a big deal. A genre is general, not super specific, although we did give him artist examples for each genre. The only part I started getting annoyed with was the father/daughter mother/son dance. I wanted to do something different and I had discussed it with him several times. We were doing the two dances at the same time and halfway through, I wanted to switch to father-in-law/daughter and mother-in-law/son dance to symbolize us joining new families. He didn't call the in-laws to the dance floor at all during the dance. For the money dance, he walked up to me during the event and asked me whether he wanted me to play hawaiian music during the dance since that was where we were going for the honeymoon. I reminded him that I had given him two songs to play for the money dance in the outline. He played my requests all right after one another during dancing. Cuban shuffle and cha-cha-slide one right after the other at the very beginning of dancing - killing the chance to use them later to draw people to the dance floor. Then, about a half hour later, he played my other requests, one right after the other (which were actually requests for dinner music). The positives: The ceremony went beautifully and perfectly. He had good equipment, he was prepared with a mic for the speaker and no hitches during that one. He did get people on the dance floor, which was hard because there were really mixed age groups. He was on time and all set up and ready to go. He gave us a really good price, since it was near his house and was a shorter event. But if I had known that the price would be sacrificing on quality of service, I would have paid more. I know he has great reviews from other brides, so maybe my experience is not the norm, but based on what I experienced, I would not recommend him to another bride.

Mark was fantastic! Great to work with; no issues whatsoever! Kept the dance floor packed til the very end of the reception! Played tons of good music and had all the songs we requested. Couldn't ask for anything more!
