Later we did a sneak peak of the reception room and I was brought to tears. Steve’s brought my vision to life, the centerpieces were better than I could have ever imagined. I cannot rave enough about Steve's Flower Market!!!! Flowers are so expensive and Wendy worked with me on our floral budget to create the most beautiful arrangements while staying within budget. They are a full service florist and came to our venue TWICE to help with floral sets up (we had our ceremony and reception in the same space). They listened to what I wanted with flowers and executed them perfectly.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Mary and Steve’s Flower Market. Working with Steve’s was one of the BEST decisions that we made. We found Steve’s through our planner, Amelia Cole Events, and they were a dream to work with. We had originally planned for an April 2020 wedding, which was subsequently postponed to November 2020 and then November 2021. Despite the entirely different time of year, Steve’s still provided us with all the original flowers we had planned for even though some were wildly out of season. We got married in our venue, and didn’t want to have a more traditional arch or alter set up. Mary & Steve’s created the most stunning backdrop against a brick wall, by having smilax climb up the wall almost like ivy. Mary also helped us with all of our table design, and they were absolutely perfect - not too crowded, but still beautifully decorated. I don’t think I’ll ever get over just how beautiful our venue looked because of Steve’s. I cannot recommend working with them enough!

Andrea at Steve's Flower Market was amazing!! She was so responsive and insightful (we had many questions/specific requests for her). And the end result was stunning. All of our florals for the wedding were perfect and exactly what we envisioned. Steve's Flower Market is the hands-down best florist in Chicago. No contest. We've been going to them for years so when we started planning our wedding they naturally were top of the list. Mary was able to take my very vague vision, build upon it, and turn it into something even better than I was thinking. She was amazing throughout the entire process and everything turned out magical. Mary was beyond wonderful to work with!!!! She helped bring my vision to life during our first consultation & made it an easy decision to book her to help decorate our wedding venue & provide all of the florals for the day. During the first consultation, she brought out different flowers & centerpiece items to match the esthetic I described so I could actually see how things looked together. She did a great job in bringing my vision to life & providing suggestions to help enhance. She was also flexible & made adjustments for us when I changed my mind on a few minor details a few weeks before the wedding day. She did everything possible to ensure I would be 100% happy with the end result. The end result still managed to exceed my expectations! Mary was so genuinely excited about everything she put together for us & we were in love with how everything came together. She is extremely communicative & friendly & we cannot recommend her (& the rest of the team at Steve's!) enough!!

Steve's Flower Market was great to work with for our May 2021 wedding! The flowers were fresh, arrived on time, and looked very pretty. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because my bridal bouquet was missing some of the flowers I had requested. While it was a beautiful arrangement (rustic and loose) and kept with the color scheme I was looking for, I'm not sure if there was a miss communication between Wendy and myself but it was not like the example I had sent her. I would still use them again though.

Wow! I loved loved loved my wedding floral!! I was intent on doing rental flowers because I didn’t want to spend money on something that would die. I’m so glad my planner urged me to meet with Mary and have Steve’s design the floral for my wedding. The result was stunning. Mary listened to all of my preferences and delivered an ambiance that was bar none. I wish I could post pictures of their work, but I think their portfolio speaks for itself!!

Mary and her team were incredible! Mary is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is also extremely talented and great at what she does. I still can't get over how beautiful our wedding day was and a big part of that was because of Mary and her team. I'm obviously biased, but everything Mary and her team did was so beautiful! We chose Steve's Flower Market after my planner had recommended them and I'm so glad we did! We had a decent budget, but when you're talking about 24 tables worth of centerpieces, our budget didn't go as far as I had hoped. Kaylee worked with us to find more affordable flowers that would then get us within our budget which ended up being perfect! They did one mockup arrangement a few weeks before the big day and I'm so glad they did because it was not what I wanted (granted I didn't provide much direction initially). Kaylee had no problem making revisions and then when I saw the flowers for the first time on the day of, my mind was blown. It was everything I had ever imagined and was so perfect from size to colors to flowers used. Thank you to the team for being so accommodating, responsive, and just a joy to work with! 1000% recommend!

My husband's family were flower farmers and my expectations for our wedding flowers were incredibly high! After a friend had used and loved Steve's Flower Market, I knew they were the right choice for us as well. From my first visit to when they dropped off my flowers on our wedding day, everything was perfect and they were incredibly professional. I wasn't very specific with what I wanted for our winter wedding, but they somehow transformed my flower vision into a reality, including just the right amount of deep, colorful blooms and balancing with greenery. Having a winter wedding made me nervous about the selection, but my bouquet featured a few exotic flowers and our entire order was worth every penny. Between the table/ aisle greenery, the boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets and my bridal bouquet, Steve's exceeded our expectations. I even dried my wedding flowers and they're a beautiful keepsake from our wedding day!

Steve's knew exactly how I wanted and brought our vision of rustic elegance to life! The best thing is they knew how I wanted the flowers to look and the contrast between the reception/ceremony flowers to our actual bouquets. TRUST ME I have no idea about flowers and what they looked like and I think I gave minimal direction. They took the pictures I shared from pinterest and made it amazing. DEFINITELY hire them.

Selecting Steve's Flowers was one of the easiest decisions my husband and I made in our wedding planning process. Throughout our months working with them, they Far Exceeded our expectations at every opportunity possible. We worked directly with Mary, and what a pleasure it was to work with her! There aren’t enough good things I can say about my experience with Steve’s. I am originally from Chicago but I currently live in the DC area. Planning a wedding long distance while in grad school and working full time had it challenges, but Steve’s made sure that the process from start to finish was enjoyable. From the moment I spoke with Mary, I knew that she was my flower soul sister. She understood my vision and took it to the next level. I’m a very detailed oriented person and she managed to keep up with all of my many changes and grand ideas while juggling an extremely heavy client list. She answered every email and phone call even if it was about the smallest thing. If Mary wasn’t available her team took care of me and made sure Mary was aware of any updates that happened in her absence. Her professionalism and flexibility were exceptional and she is by far one of my most favorite wedding vendors. I told her that I wanted our venue to look and feel like love, and she did just that. Our guests can’t stop talking about how blown away they were. Not only is Steve’s one of the best in Chicago, they are affordable! Flowers are an investment but it doesn’t mean that you should get ripped off. At no point did my husband and I feel like Mary or her team were forcing us to spend more money. We gave her a number upfront and she stayed within our budget. Our dreams came to life and it wouldn’t have been possible with out the amazing team at Steve’s. If you work with Mary and Steve’s you won’t regret it. They will be my florist forever!!

Working with Mary and Steve's Flower Market was a dream!!! Mary knows EVERYTHING and totally saw my vision. She was helpful, kind, and responsive. The proposal was easy to understand, and Mary was able to add and subtract things easily. I paid in all cash in installments, so that was nice as well. They were able to stay within my budget. On the day of, Steve's was INCREDIBLE. They do weddings are Galleria Marchetti all the time, so they knew exactly what to do. It looked PERECT, even better than I imagined. The bouquets were also fabulous, and they were delivered to me where I was getting ready. I am so lucky that I was able to work with Mary and Steve's, and I would do it again 100 times over!! THANK YOU!!

We loved working with Steve's Flower Market. I wanted to design my own florals and bouquets, and they were extremely accommodating and were an excellent value for the bulk purchase options. We worked with Kaylee who was very responsive to email and even just when we stopped by the shop to see if she was around. We were also very last minute with our order (less than two weeks from our date) but they were still able to order everything in time and really put us at ease. Would highly recommend!

I worked with Mary from Steve's Flower Market for my July wedding and they did a fabulous job! It was clear that Mary was invested in getting our vision right for the flowers from our initial call. She took the time to talk through what types of flowers would look good together, the vibe that we were going for, and helped us come up with three different table center arrangements that were each slightly different. We were also looking for a small floating structure for above the sweetheart table, and Mary was able to run with that and create a beautiful focal point that looked amazing in the photos. Before the wedding, we were able to pop into the store and see samples for the table center pieces as well. Lastly, we found the pricing of Steve's to be extremely fair, especially considering the superior quality of the flowers! After the final walkthrough they even suggested removing a few items that may not be needed based on the existing décor of the venue. Many other florists would not have been honest about that knowing that it would cut back on their final contract amount. I'd recommend Steve's Flower Market to anyone who wants to make sure the flowers shine for their wedding or special event!

I can’t even begin to thank steve’s Flower market! I asked for greenery dripping from the ceiling and they Overdelivered! Our florals were breathtaking and I am still in awe at how beautiful they were!

Where do I begin.... Mary and Steve were a God's send. When picking a florist, I was incredibly nervous. "How do I know I'm getting reasonable prices?" "What is my budget supposed to be?" and "Am I getting my money's worth?" No one really exposes how much floral on average costs let alone for all the kinds of flowers that are out there. Well, Mary and her staff had set me and my husband at ease the moment we met them. Went over every little detail and even provided options to help bring down costs and to get the most out of the look we were dying for. Needless to say, when the big day came, Mary brought my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets and my heart was just heavy with joy. They were STUNNING and everything I could have ever dreamed of and so much more. Even getting to see Mary before the wedding made it that much more enjoyable. She is THE sweetest and Steve's INCREDIBLE at what he does. Once I got to the venue and see all my dreams come true from the candelabras to the gazebo.... I was living my fairy tale. Mary, Steve, I can't thank you enough for putting our dreams into reality. We are still so overjoyed and in love with every little thing you've done. To everyone else hesitating on who to choose, please trust me when I say Steve's Flower Market is EXACTLY the florist you need for your day.

I found Steve’s after endless research on florists in Chicago. Flowers are obviously a very important part of your wedding day, but I also didn’t want to spend a ton of our budget on them. When we met with Mary we instantly knew that Steve’s was the vendor for us! She sat down and built mock ups of our bouquets, centerpieces, etc. with us so we could show her what we liked/didn’t like. It was so helpful, especially because my husband and I knew nothing about flowers and only had photos of things that we wanted. When our flowers showed up in our wedding day I almost cried because they were so beautiful and they exceeded everything I had pictured in my head! Mary was awesome to work with, answered all of our questions and worked with our budget to give us the flowers of our dreams! I will recommend Steve’s to everyone getting married in Chicago! Amazing quality and won’t break the bank.

Most beautiful wedding ever ! Steve and Mary created a wondrous floral vision for my son 's wedding this past weekend which surpassed our expectations. They created an amazing greenery and floral circular arch for their rooftop ceremony which was unique and beautiful. For the reception, they transformed our venue into a magical space with gorgeous centerpieces, hanging greenery and wisteria over the dance floor and candlelight everywhere! My guests were in awe how beautiful it was. Steve and Mary were a delight to work with and I cannot recommend them enough.

Had the absolute best experience working with Steve's Flowers for our wedding! From initial consultation, to the hand delivered flowers to both our hotel and venue, the Steve's team was extremely responsive, organized, and has a phenomenal creative eye when it comes to floral. We used their team for not only our bouquets, corsages, and boutonniere, but for all of our center pieces, alter arch, guest card table, and more etc. Their prices are extremely reasonable for what you get, plus they can incorporate candles, petals, and any other festive decor you'd like. It's a one stop shop! They executed our ideas to perfection, especially those where I submitted a photo for inspiration. Thank you Andrea and team!!

I booked with Steve's because I enjoyed my initial consultation and they offered a very competitive price and cash discount. I went in twice before finalizing my order. Once with a friend and once with my husband. At my second appointment they made a mock centerpiece for me and really helped us envision what the flowers would look like. I emailed in photos of what we wanted for our file. Closer to the date of the wedding, I made a payment, dropped off charms for my bouquet (pictures of my mother and grandmother who have passed) and added two additional boutonnieres to my order. I went in one last time, made final payment and went over the order to ensure no further questions about order, times, or event space. The day of, drop off was a bit chaotic. The staff had to return because they forgot the charms for my bouquet. They had to return a third time because they didn't bring the other 2 boutonnieres. I did love all of the bridal party accessories and they resembled what I requested. I think the centerpieces were lovely and looked great but were different then what the pictures were of what I was ordering. The centerpieces had lots of white hydrangeas with a touch of red but I wanted mostly color with a touch of white (I did Ivory Linen and wanted more of a pop of color). I understand hydrangeas are more cost effective but I was never told that the centerpieces would consist heavily of them (I would understand then) but when that isn't communicated in advance, it feels more or less as if that was an oversight. I would recommend Steve's overall though because they did make everything right (was chaotic though) with bridal accessories and they did offer good pricing options and try to work within everyone's budget. While the centerpieces weren't what I had in mind/thought I ordered- they were pretty.

We had a great experience with Steve's Flower Market. I didn't have a huge budget and it was really hard for me to find a florist who was willing to work in my budget. From the moment I stepped into their shop, I felt welcomed, taken care of, and respected. Our florist was easy to work with, responsive, and she created gorgeous arrangements. Our guests are still raving about the flowers!

We did not have a huge budget to spend on flowers, and we looked at a few vendors before finding Steve’s Flower Market. The flowers we ended up with were both beautiful and affordable. We were able to re-purpose everything used during the ceremony for the reception, and Annabelle helped create a design that was perfect for our venue and our style. We were able to pick out flowers that we liked in person, and Annabelle was very helpful pointing out which combinations would work well together. Our venue also commented on the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff members that came to set up and deliver the flowers. We were not expecting the bouquets or table arrangements to last very long after the wedding based on feedback from friends who had recently been married (and used different florists), but the flowers were very fresh and lasted until at least the end of the week following the wedding (including roses, which usually wilt quickly). I would definitely recommend Steve’s Flower Market.

WOW. If I could give them 10 stars I would. We worked with Mary for our wedding at Danada House and she did an above and beyond job. She really brought our vision of classic and modern to life. Working with someone who truly loves their job makes it that much easier and a ton of fun. She was incredibly responsive and laid everything out clearly in terms of price and what flowers/accessories you were getting. I am referring Steve's to everyone I know who is getting married. Our flowers were by far our favorite part of our wedding and it was because of Mary and her team.

We are frequent visitors of Steve’s and knew from the get-go we wanted to use them in our wedding. They did a great job capturing our vision. Their floral arrangements never cease to amaze us! They were reliable and easy to work with. All the florals were meticulous and absolutely stunning. For this I can’t thank them enough! The only negative is, I wish their laid greenery was a little less sparse. This wouldn’t stop me from using them, I would just ask for more foliage :)

Mary is an absolute gem to work with! We had exchanged a few emails on the feel and design for the day, and when we came in for first consultation we were blown away with what she prepared for us! She pulled together the most beautiful bouquet option and table arrangements than we had dreamed for! It was amazing to see the ideas we gave to her and then for her to put it together for us to review during the meeting. When it came to the big day, the bouquets for me and the bridesmaids turned out beyond expectoration. We loved the arbor decoration she made for us and how all the tables turned out. She was incredible to work with from bouncing ideas off each other, creating a cohesive vision, and for execution on the day of. It was nothing short of perfection!

Where to begin...I used to buy myself arrangements and flowers from Steve's when I was single so when I found out they could do weddings I was ecstatic. They've grown since I lived in the area but still have that personalized touch. Andrea was amazing to work with and answered so many of my (often stupid) questions. Helping figure out how many arrangements to have, humoring my Pinterest-crazed ideas and gently talking me out of the bad ones (my bridesmaids thank you). Countless emails flew by as I changed my mind a bit -- this was the first vendor after the venue that was booked so there was lots of time for "oh and then this idea" but it turned out stunning. The table arrangements were simple but took people's breath away, my bridal bouquet was heavenly and the bridesmaids Picasso Calla Lillies were picture perfect. I had one moment of panic that my toss bouquet wasn't delivered to the hotel, but they of course already had it at the Art Institute (our venue). 100% would recommend to anyone looking for amazing florals for your wedding or just a mid-week pick me up to brighten your home. Forever in love with and thankful for Steve's Flower Market and their incredible team. To be honest, we were sold on Steve's from the moment we walked in, when we were greeted by their two adorable shop dogs. We gave Andrea some basic information on what we had in mind, and after a brief conversation she walked away to pull together a piece. When she walked back and showed us what she had created based on our VERY basic vision, we were both absolutely blown away. The team at SFM is incredibly talented at what they do, both in bringing your vision to life and in creating the romantic and natural vibe we were hoping to have our event embody. When my bridal bouquet was delivered to my room on the day of my wedding, I actually CRIED! all the work they did with the bouquets, the centerpieces, the candles, and the gorgeous pipe arch we used for our ceremony and re-purposed for our reception - GAH! I wish I could forever live in the dream they brought to life for us. Work with Steve's! You absolutely will not regret it.

Mary at Steve’s flower market was absolutely incredible. From the bouquets to the center pieces to the massive head table arrangement (side note i asked Mary for This like a week before) everything was beyond beautiful. delivery was on time and the girls who brought them were so friendly. I noticed Steve’s did another brides wedding the same day and our themes/style was SO different but both looked equally as beautiful which is another thing that makes this vendor stand out!
