Steve's Flower Market

r. We were able to set the flowers being used in my bouquet, my bridesmaid bouquets, and the centerpieces. She was also able to pinpoint the style that I wanted in each of the pieces. She delivered exactly what I wanted based on this one appointment, which was incredible. She also was able to special order stunning red and white dahlias to be the main flower in my bridal bouquet. I was so happy with all of the flowers from them and they made our venue look perfect. The flowers lasted a long time too and still looked fresh the next day. The only downside with Steve’s Flower market was a couple of incorrect invoices when finalizing our order a month before the wedding. We received a couple of invoices in which requested changes weren’t reflected. Ultimately, we were able to get all the kinks ironed out and the order finalized with the help of our wedding coordinator. Overall, I was incredibly happy with Steve’s Flower Market and highly recommend them for any event.

of town and they accommodated meeting with us while she was in town for wedding planning. The flowers were AMAZING and so beautiful. They were absolutely stunning. Communication was great and Mary was very flexible when we needed to add a last minute center piece. Steve's also delivered flowers to the venue for the rehearsal dinner and they were stunning as well. The entire staff at the rehearsal dinner venue and wedding venue commented on the quality of the flowers and how beautiful they were. I highly recommend Steve's Flower Market.

absolutely no idea what I wanted for my wedding. She sat with me for over an hour sending me pictures of flowers and wedding venue photos to pick my brain and figure out what I liked. At my initial in-person consultation, she picked tons of flowers to show me to continue to get an idea of what I wanted... all I told her was that I hated greenery. Along the way, she continuously was able to take the little guidance and indecisiveness I gave her and almost read my mind to create the most beautiful ceremony and reception that I could have ever imaged. She went over the top, working with my other vendors and even attending my final walkthrough to make sure everything was perfect from lighting to table placements and everything in between. Mary not only took the initiative to get to know me and my likes and dislikes but she took away so much of the stress of planning and made my dreams come true. If I could have taken all of our flowers home and made them last forever, I would have. I would highly recommend Mary and Steve and their team. You should not even look elsewhere.

come true. They were so helpful and accommodating and give you wonderful floral previews to help you envision how your florals will look on the actual day. Highly recommend using Steve's!

stunning. Every detail you worked on to bring my dream of dancing under the stairs was incredible. The bouquets and boutonnieres were stunning. The welcome party, cocktail party and wedding day table arrangements were MAGNIFICENT. EVERY SINGLE thing. The after party and lounge lighting also was amazing, it was a total VIBE in there!!! Mary is an absolute joy to work with, I loved her guidance and she gave such incredible advice and input. She was patient and helped us so tremendously to bring our vision to life.

mend Steve’s Flower Market enough!

ral mock up that I knew we were in good hands here. The big day did not disappoint. First off, my bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets were drop dead gorgeous. Later we did a sneak peak of the reception room and I was brought to tears. Steve’s brought my vision to life, the centerpieces were better than I could have ever imagined. They used the very best florals and placed everything perfectly. I would recommend Steve’s Flower Market to everyone and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Mary and everyone else at Steve’s!

beautiful hanging mandap that turned to dance floor décor for the evening come true so seamlessly! She was engaged throughout the process working with us as our preferences changed and ensured we were happy with the end result! Would recommend booking Steve’s for all your wedding needs!

had envisioned. I BIG shout out to Andrea who went above and beyond. She was truly a pleasure to work with! THANK YOU!

I would 100% recommend Mary & The Steve’s Flower Market team to any of my friends, family, colleagues, etc.

etely understood my vision and everything was stunning - from the tables to the bouquets to corsages and flower girl crowns. Everything arrived on time, fresh and looking amazing.

ting this. The minute I walked into the Fairlie and saw the place card table, I was also in tears, happy tears! You far surpassed the vision that Courtney had for her wedding. You really “got her” and you gave her and David the most beautiful wedding ever!! The staircase, chuppah, tables and place card tables were outstanding, not to mention the sweetheart table… Gorgeous! Thank you, thank you and thank you again! You are the best!

r execution. I had zero complaints on our wedding because Mary and her team did everything we talked about and beyond. I absolutely loved every detail. 100% recommend!!!

within budget. They are a full service florist and came to our venue TWICE to help with floral sets up (we had our ceremony and reception in the same space). They listened to what I wanted with flowers and executed them perfectly.

Fresh, vibrant and unique - our guests were so complimentary of the design and quality of the arrangements. Mary's team was efficient, enthusiastic and creative.

ner, Amelia Cole Events, and they were a dream to work with. We had originally planned for an April 2020 wedding, which was subsequently postponed to November 2020 and then November 2021. Despite the entirely different time of year, Steve’s still provided us with all the original flowers we had planned for even though some were wildly out of season. We got married in our venue, and didn’t want to have a more traditional arch or alter set up. Mary & Steve’s created the most stunning backdrop against a brick wall, by having smilax climb up the wall almost like ivy. Mary also helped us with all of our table design, and they were absolutely perfect - not too crowded, but still beautifully decorated. I don’t think I’ll ever get over just how beautiful our venue looked because of Steve’s. I cannot recommend working with them enough!

orals for the wedding were perfect and exactly what we envisioned. We were so happy with the service, quality, and expertise that Andrea and everyone at Steve's Flower Market brought to our wedding.

Easy to work with and great customer service.

ys do for special events. We could not be happier with all the arrangements that Steve’s Flower Market did for our wedding. Andrea, who was our contact person, was very flexible and listened to our vision and made it a reality. The team went above our expectations with the quality of flowers and work that they put in to make our reception hall even more beautiful! Everything that we have asked for, Steve’s Flowers delivered on! Thank you to the entire team!

d were absolutely beautiful. Thank you!

ere -absolutely stunning and so creative. Working with Mary was an absolute joy and my daughter and I had such a blast with her!

he list. Mary was able to take my very vague vision, build upon it, and turn it into something even better than I was thinking. She was amazing throughout the entire process and everything turned out magical. I'm SO very thankful we chose Steve's because our day wouldn't have been as beautiful otherwise.

team created the most beautiful bridal + bridal party bouquets and the ceremony and reception rooms were setup perfectly. Mary is the type of vendor who you can tell really wants to make your wedding day perfect. We received so many compliments on our wedding decor and flowers and wouldn't change a thing! Mary is easy to talk to and someone I would like to be friends with :) We will be recommending SFM to all our friends and family!

e & provide all of the florals for the day. During the first consultation, she brought out different flowers & centerpiece items to match the esthetic I described so I could actually see how things looked together. She did a great job in bringing my vision to life & providing suggestions to help enhance. She was also flexible & made adjustments for us when I changed my mind on a few minor details a few weeks before the wedding day. She did everything possible to ensure I would be 100% happy with the end result. The end result still managed to exceed my expectations! Mary was so genuinely excited about everything she put together for us & we were in love with how everything came together. She is extremely communicative & friendly & we cannot recommend her (& the rest of the team at Steve's!) enough!!

because my bridal bouquet was missing some of the flowers I had requested. While it was a beautiful arrangement (rustic and loose) and kept with the color scheme I was looking for, I'm not sure if there was a miss communication between Wendy and myself but it was not like the example I had sent her. I would still use them again though.

to meet with Mary and have Steve’s design the floral for my wedding. The result was stunning. Mary listened to all of my preferences and delivered an ambiance that was bar none. I wish I could post pictures of their work, but I think their portfolio speaks for itself!!

dding day was and a big part of that was because of Mary and her team. I'm obviously biased, but everything Mary and her team did was so beautiful! We are having another celebration in May and will be using them again. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! :)

our budget didn't go as far as I had hoped. Kaylee worked with us to find more affordable flowers that would then get us within our budget which ended up being perfect! They did one mockup arrangement a few weeks before the big day and I'm so glad they did because it was not what I wanted (granted I didn't provide much direction initially). Kaylee had no problem making revisions and then when I saw the flowers for the first time on the day of, my mind was blown. It was everything I had ever imagined and was so perfect from size to colors to flowers used. Thank you to the team for being so accommodating, responsive, and just a joy to work with! 1000% recommend!

the right choice for us as well. From my first visit to when they dropped off my flowers on our wedding day, everything was perfect and they were incredibly professional. I wasn't very specific with what I wanted for our winter wedding, but they somehow transformed my flower vision into a reality, including just the right amount of deep, colorful blooms and balancing with greenery. Having a winter wedding made me nervous about the selection, but my bouquet featured a few exotic flowers and our entire order was worth every penny. Between the table/ aisle greenery, the boutonnieres, bridesmaid bouquets and my bridal bouquet, Steve's exceeded our expectations. I even dried my wedding flowers and they're a beautiful keepsake from our wedding day!

much for all the hard work put into this.

tion/ceremony flowers to our actual bouquets. TRUST ME I have no idea about flowers and what they looked like and I think I gave minimal direction. They took the pictures I shared from pinterest and made it amazing. DEFINITELY hire them.

making sure that she understood my vision and got it exactly right. The flowers were gorgeous and perfect! Their customer service is outstanding.

eautiful!

ectations at every opportunity possible. We worked directly with Mary, and what a pleasure it was to work with her! She is incredibly responsive to emails as well as questions and concerns; she has an incredible gift for floral arrangements and was instrumental in the phenomenal execution of our floral arrangements. Bonus working with her? She is the sweetest woman, a bundle of smiles and such a warm welcoming presence when you have your meetings in their floral shop!  One of the highlights of my wedding morning was when I was sitting getting my bridal hair up-do and in walks Mary with my wedding bouquet and groom's boutonniere in her hands - She TOTALLY surprised me and I just melted with love and excitement. Overall, Steve's Flower Market provides more than just floral arrangements - they provide a loving experience expressed through their stunning, artistic floral creations - my husband now knows the only (and best!) floral shop in the city to go to when he wants to bring me flowers!

in grad school and working full time had it challenges, but Steve’s made sure that the process from start to finish was enjoyable. From the moment I spoke with Mary, I knew that she was my flower soul sister. She understood my vision and took it to the next level. I’m a very detailed oriented person and she managed to keep up with all of my many changes and grand ideas while juggling an extremely heavy client list. She answered every email and phone call even if it was about the smallest thing. If Mary wasn’t available her team took care of me and made sure Mary was aware of any updates that happened in her absence. Her professionalism and flexibility were exceptional and she is by far one of my most favorite wedding vendors. I told her that I wanted our venue to look and feel like love, and she did just that. Our guests can’t stop talking about how blown away they were. Not only is Steve’s one of the best in Chicago, they are affordable! Flowers are an investment but it doesn’t mean that you should get ripped off. At no point did my husband and I feel like Mary or her team were forcing us to spend more money. We gave her a number upfront and she stayed within our budget. Our dreams came to life and it wouldn’t have been possible with out the amazing team at Steve’s. If you work with Mary and Steve’s you won’t regret it. They will be my florist forever!!

nd, and Mary was able to add and subtract things easily. I paid in all cash in installments, so that was nice as well. They were able to stay within my budget. On the day of, Steve's was INCREDIBLE. They do weddings are Galleria Marchetti all the time, so they knew exactly what to do. It looked PERECT, even better than I imagined. The bouquets were also fabulous, and they were delivered to me where I was getting ready. I am so lucky that I was able to work with Mary and Steve's, and I would do it again 100 times over!! THANK YOU!!

options. We worked with Kaylee who was very responsive to email and even just when we stopped by the shop to see if she was around. We were also very last minute with our order (less than two weeks from our date) but they were still able to order everything in time and really put us at ease. Would highly recommend!

our initial call. She took the time to talk through what types of flowers would look good together, the vibe that we were going for, and helped us come up with three different table center arrangements that were each slightly different. We were also looking for a small floating structure for above the sweetheart table, and Mary was able to run with that and create a beautiful focal point that looked amazing in the photos. Before the wedding, we were able to pop into the store and see samples for the table center pieces as well. Lastly, we found the pricing of Steve's to be extremely fair, especially considering the superior quality of the flowers! After the final walkthrough they even suggested removing a few items that may not be needed based on the existing décor of the venue. Many other florists would not have been honest about that knowing that it would cut back on their final contract amount. I'd recommend Steve's Flower Market to anyone who wants to make sure the flowers shine for their wedding or special event!

happy with the service and flowers.

beautiful they were!

to be?" and "Am I getting my money's worth?" No one really exposes how much floral on average costs let alone for all the kinds of flowers that are out there. Well, Mary and her staff had set me and my husband at ease the moment we met them. Went over every little detail and even provided options to help bring down costs and to get the most out of the look we were dying for. Needless to say, when the big day came, Mary brought my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets and my heart was just heavy with joy. They were STUNNING and everything I could have ever dreamed of and so much more. Even getting to see Mary before the wedding made it that much more enjoyable. She is THE sweetest and Steve's INCREDIBLE at what he does. Once I got to the venue and see all my dreams come true from the candelabras to the gazebo.... I was living my fairy tale. Mary, Steve, I can't thank you enough for putting our dreams into reality. We are still so overjoyed and in love with every little thing you've done. To everyone else hesitating on who to choose, please trust me when I say Steve's Flower Market is EXACTLY the florist you need for your day.

on them. When we met with Mary we instantly knew that Steve’s was the vendor for us! She sat down and built mock ups of our bouquets, centerpieces, etc. with us so we could show her what we liked/didn’t like. It was so helpful, especially because my husband and I knew nothing about flowers and only had photos of things that we wanted. When our flowers showed up in our wedding day I almost cried because they were so beautiful and they exceeded everything I had pictured in my head! Mary was awesome to work with, answered all of our questions and worked with our budget to give us the flowers of our dreams! I will recommend Steve’s to everyone getting married in Chicago! Amazing quality and won’t break the bank.
