Al and his son were absolutely AMAZING to work with. The weather for our August 21st outdoor wedding was wild. Rain is an understatement, it was a true down pour right before and right after our ceromony. The rain was so intense you could barely hear and definitely could not even see through it. They had to hide out under a canopy until one of my cousins could rescue them with some umbrellas and they did not let it phase them one bit. Everyone got drenched, but they never missed a beat! I had a large bridal party of 22 people including 2 young girls and they never had any problems wrangling them when needed! They both had incredibly creative ideas for shots! Because of the downpour and the humidity and muddiness that ensued after, the plan for the day got a little chaotic, but they went with the flow at every turn. At one point, my hair extensions started falling out due to all the rain and humidity and they seriously carried them for me while we got more shots and we all joked about it. I honestly could not have asked for a better team to be there with us on our day.

We could not be more obsessed with our wedding video! Al worked tireless all day and it paid off! Not to mention, the drone was AMAZING! He perfectly captured our day and we are so thankful we have not only a full hour plus video to go back and watch, but a perfect highlight video too. Al was professional, responsive and fairly priced. So grateful to STL Studios for making our wedding even more special!

Best Decision Ever! We didn't even plan to have a videographer at our wedding. Our pre-covid plan included the church recording our ceremony, so when we were scrambling to find a new location (the church wasn't holding weddings due to covid) a videographer hadn't even crossed our minds. About one month before the wedding it hit me that we didn't have anyone to record our ceremony and Al saved the day with a custom package (I had never been the bride who wanted the whole day recorded and I certainly didn't have thousands of dollars to spend on a videographer for 12 hours - but Al was completely willing to work with what we needed and price it accordingly). Some people say you get what you pay for, but Al's custom package was incredibly reasonable and he delivered more than we could have ever hoped! I figured we would get a basic tripod view of the ceremony, but Al went above and beyond and brought along his son AND his drone to capture beautiful views of our outdoor location. Al was extremely personable to work with, put us at ease the morning of our wedding, and got us our finished wedding video before we even got to see our pictures. We were very worried about sound because of the outdoor wedding and a large and loud fountain right next to us, but the audio was crystal clear without any wind or water distracting from the ceremony. Al even took the time to make us a special bonus clip as a surprise (we had someone ride through the ceremony on a bike during the processional and Al edited the clip with music and captions - it was a hit on social media). We are so thankful that Al at STL Studios was part of our day! We couldn't be happier with our wedding video!

STL studios did a fabulous and professional job for our daughter’s wedding in July 2020. We weren’t positive the wedding could even happen, but when it did, Al and Kyle were there with their masks on for an incredibly hot, Missouri, outdoor wedding day. They truly captured the memories for us from the drone footage, creative shots, clear sound at the ceremony and reception they got it all. Then the hours they must’ve spent editing to make us three videos of varied length to different music, we are so grateful. Using Al and his son with STL Studios for our wedding day was one of the best decisions we could have made! From the very beginning correspondences with Al, he was so friendly and kind and sung his previous clients praises. The day of our wedding he did a great job of making this awkward bride feel comfortable in front of the camera, and was the hit with everyone who met him. Many people came up to me saying how nice of a guy he was and how they’d love to be his friend in real life he was just so great! He was easy to get in touch with, responded quickly, and his work was amazing! He went above and beyond for us. Our photographers weren’t able to stay for our sparkler send off, but Al stayed the whole time and even said he’d send me stills so I had pictures of that special moment as well! We loved both the demo video and the documentary so much! When we asked for an add in and a little tweak to our video he was more than helpful and didn’t make me feel bad one bit for asking for a change. He was also able to help wrangle or wedding crowd with ease and made our video look so fun, capturing some goofy moments that were so fun to watch and relive :) We highly recommend Al for your big day! You can’t go wrong!

TOTALLY WORTH IT! We were not planning to have a video of our wedding until we found out my husband's brother couldn't attend. We decided that it was worth it so he could see the wedding. When my now brother-in-law saw the video, he was moved to tears. It's amazing that we have those moments captured on film, not just for loved ones, but also for ourselves. I believe hiring STL Studios was the best thing we spent money on for the wedding. You truly won't regret having your special day filmed. Last point, STL Stuidos is professional and so easy to work with!

Al and Kyle with STL Studios truly got footage that we weren't aware anyone saw and got such intimate moments captured. STL Studios created films that captured not only our big day but our true personalities as a couple. The editing of the footage for the final pieces came together truly infinitely better than I could have ever imagined. I knew we would be impressed but I was taken aback by how magnificent the films were. They did a great job working with other vendors, capturing the moments big and small, and creating an edited masterpiece of our wedding that we can relive and enjoy forever!!!

This is a long review - but completely necessary. I wish I could give a 10/5 rating for our experience. Our wedding took place in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2 weeks before our wedding had SO MANY changes and we had to re-plan our whole day. Regardless of all the changes, STL Studios happily made the appropriate adjustments every time. The DAY BEFORE our ceremony, our DJ had to back out and left us without any audio, music, or sound board for our video. Al and Kyle went WAY above and beyond their contracted duties to help provide us with a way to still have audio and play music. Kyle spent the evening/night before and the day of our ceremony putting together - and setting up - a mic, speakers, and any other needed equipment to make up for the absence of our DJ. Both Al and Kyle are the most dedicated and kind people to work with. They are both very professional and a ton of fun to work with. I am still absolutely amazed at how much they did for us and our day would have lacked SO much without them. We got our video this week and my husband and I can not believe that we almost decided against videography for our wedding. Our photographer/photos were great - but this video is truly letting us relive the day. It captured the moments that the photos couldn’t, showed the true feelings/emotions of everyone involved, and even reminded us of some very special moments that had been forgotten during the happenings of the day. To make it even more special, we can now share this video with our family members who could not be there that day. They will get to see the ceremony, hear our vows, and still be given the opportunity to share that special day with us through this video. Because of all of these things, it truly is the most beautiful gift we could have ever been given. If you are questioning whether or not videography is worth it, or who to choose, I hope this helps. Al and Kyle definitely won’t disappoint you - in fact, their work will amaze you and we will definitely be choosing them for any future video needs. There is no way we could have been prepared to have a wedding during a pandemic, and We definitely never wanted certain people to miss our ceremony - but because of Al and Kyle, we have no regrets. We are forever grateful!

Al and his son were amazing to work with. When we left our initial meeting my now husband looked at me and goes "that's the guy". He listened with so much enthusiasm about our day. I could tell he cared almost as much as we did about it being perfect. He worked so well with our photographer and they both respected each other and made sure we had the best of both worlds. We missed out on a huge portion of video because he had to go to the reception site to set up (my brother was late to my ceremony this wasn't at all Al's fault). I was worried about the video because of it, but you'd never know anything was missing. It is perfect. I love it so much. I cannot get over every detail 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ You wont be upset using Al. He is amazing!!

STL Studios gave my wife and I more than we could’ve ever thought possible. We watched our video over and over and each time, we had chills and happy tears. STL Studios brilliantly edited our video to display the words we spoke in our vows. We are very happy with Al and his son. I booked Al about a year before the wedding through email. The contract was very straightforward and easy to read. Due to the logistics of where we got married, I was in contact with Al often starting two months before the wedding and found him always responsive by email. About a week before the wedding, I provided Al a wedding timeline, and we spoke on the phone about four days before the big event. Al had great recommendations to make our day go smoothly and was very flexible about some of our constraints with Catholic Mass and working on a military base. We engaged STL Studios for the entire day of the wedding (10am - 9pm). Al was very detailed oriented, and worked great with our DJ and photographers (not hired together). He made the entire bridal party feel comfortable about being recorded with a lot of humor. At the end of the night, he took time to let us know he was wrapping up and how much he enjoyed working with us. We look forward to receiving our video!

He was very responsive, patient, kind, professional and funny. Weddings can be very stressful and demanding on the bride before, during and a bit after but Al was always accommodating and available. The videos turned out great as well!

On the day of the wedding, he was a positive, professional, and really worked with us to make sure we captured all the necessary moments. After the wedding, Al kept an open line of communication with us as far as getting the teaser and other films delivered goes (which we really appreciated as we had issues with our photographer). Five stars isn’t enough to rate STL Studios! Where do I even begin?! Saying I’m grateful for having Al there on our wedding day is an understatement. My husband was super hesitant about hiring a videographer but now we are beyond grateful we went ahead to ask Al to be there on our day. Even more so after we recieved frustrating news that our wedding photographer immaturely lost every last one of our photos. Al offered to grab still shots to make up for the tragedy so we wouldn’t be left with no photos from our day. He captured every last special moment of the day and no matter how many times I’ve watched our video, I cry everytime. I would get married all over again to relive all those moments. Even our guests said he was so fun to have around and applauded his attentiveness to capture all of the details in the day. Do yourself a favor and ask Al to be there for your special day, you won’t regret it!

Stl studios absolutely lived up to his reputation. He captured the most important day of our lives in such a professional manner that he wasn’t the guy in the way of all of the Photographer’s shots (which I’ve seen at weddings) but most importantly Al at STL Studios had one of the best/ funny and light hearted personalities I could have hoped for. Needless to say, brides get anxious on their wedding day and Al always had a joke to get me to “real laugh for the camera” and his great sense of humor helped ease my nerves making the experience that much more enjoyable- I almost wish I could have asked him to be a guest at my wedding as well but he had work to do! I have no question my video is going to exceed my expectations and I would highly recommend everyone searching for the perfect videographer- to check out Al’s work. He’s one of the few left that don’t only offer the 5 min highlight “social medial” Clip and is there from getting ready to shutting the place down. If I could give STL Studios more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Hiring Al to be the cinematographer for our wedding earlier this month was the best decision we made for our wedding. From the very first time we talked to Al on the phone, we could tell that he was going to be the perfect fit for what we were looking for. He had so many creative ideas for ways to personalize our wedding video and went above and beyond to make sure that our video was as memorable and sentimental as possible. You can tell by his energy and positive attitude that he genuinely loves being a cinematographer and does not see it as a job but rather a way to fulfill his passion. I booked this videographer over a year before my wedding because the package is like none other, and he is so nice! When the day came he was there exactly when he said he would be, and he got every shot necessary. He was thorough, but not in the way or intrusive. I had a large wedding party on a VERY hot June day, and he was awesome in dealing with the chaos and the heat! He worked seamlessly with my photographer and together they were able to create something we will forever have. Al was so kind and really wanted to ensure he got exactly what I wanted. If I go to redo my wedding all over again this is one vendor I would still include.

We were beyond happy with our service #1 and our final products #2. STL Studios were very accommodating on our wedding day and made the whole experience great. They really made it easy for us from start to finish. We rec'd the Full Length Film, Highlight Film & Mini Film and have nothing but great things to say about all 3. The full length film is great because every BIG moment is captured and its great to look back and see our entire wedding ceremony, first dances, toasts etc. For our one year anniversary its going to be great to look back and relive the entire day. The highlight film is perfect because it is a video you can easily show everyone (being its only 15 minutes) yet you get to see the entire day and it still captures those BIG moments. The mini film is also awesome because its just 5 minutes but for me personally if I want to sit down and recap our day its easily done in just 5 minutes. Once again in those 5 minutes it captures our entire day and still captures the BIG moments. STL Studios will work with you when it comes to what you want. For example I needed a song changed here or there and there were more than happy to do that for me. There response time is good it will never take long to hear back. I know like most Brides, budget is a huge stress when it comes to planning a wedding. STL Studios offer GREAT prices, and I am so happy we decided to hire a videographer. I highly recommend using STL Studios for anyone's wedding and I will be recommending them to ALL my friends who have weddings coming in the future. I cannot say enough great things about this company.
