We could not have picked a better coordinator to stand by our side during the last 8 weeks of planning. Rey brought a sense of calm something I really needed being an out-of-state bride. After interviewing several different coordinators my gut told me Rey was the one and it was right. Even when an issue with a venue arose a week before the wedding she was able to find me a replacement with in 12 hours. I cannot rave enough about her. You won’t regret hiring Rey. It was one of the best decision I made for my own sanity.

Rey is the best! We honestly were not sure we wanted a wedding coordinator but we are so grateful we had her. Probably the best decision of our wedding (other than marrying each other, of course). She was very organized and had a great team on site. As the bride, I had someone with me all day, making sure I had everything I needed. Most importantly, we had a LOT go wrong with our venue (as in a list of over 20 things), but Rey and her team handled everything very professionally from start to finish and made sure that we enjoyed every aspect of our wedding and didn't have to worry about the issues that kept arising. From our first meeting to the weekend of our wedding, Simple and Chic Events ensured we had an unforgettable experience. Reytheda Jackson is a consummate professional; affable, punctual, organized, and knowledgeable. We were extremely pleased with her network of vendors, as well as her day-of-wedding staff. Reytheda Jackson with Simple and Chic Events is a consummate professional and a true asset to any bride and groom. We presented Simple and Chic Events with a very unique set of challenges in planning our wedding. The primary hurdles being that we lived in different states and were planning two ceremonies, one in Colorado and one in Sweden. Reytheda didn’t blink an eye and embraced us with open arms. She catered to our planning style and accommodated our needs without complaint. Reytheda was always within reach for a question and, even still, scheduled weekly check-in calls to give updates on progress. She did not shy from waking at the wee hours of the morning to coordinate with vendors in Europe in a different time zone. Additionally, she was resourceful in utilizing her network of planners to leverage relationships with vendors in new markets. She even offered gentle counsel and advice to my groom and I when we could not agree. Our partnership became truly invaluable when my health declined a few months before our wedding. I was completely incapacitated on medical leave. The planning did not stop even though my body did because of Simple and Chic Events. She continued the charge, coordinating our events, regularly checking on me personally and professionally. She carried the ball while we could not. Fortunately, my health recovered and we got back on track with wedding planning. Reytheda arranged and attended my bridal portraits. She also flew to Colorado to offer onsite coordination during our civil ceremony then flew with us to Sweden to execute our wedding abroad. Reytheda offered much more than day of support. She spent an entire week with us and our families across continents! Reytheda help settle anxieties across the group, kept the group organized and on time in foreign lands. We knew our wedding would be abroad therefore we interviewed wedding planners throughout the globe. We had the opportunity to utilize a local wedding planner in Sweden who knew the area and traditions. At the end of the day, we selected Simple and Chic Events because of their attention to detail, compassion, professionalism and responsiveness. We have zero regrets and could not have been happier with our decision to use Simple and Chic Events.

Rey is the best! She made my wedding day go flawlessly. I was able to relax in my suite, sipping on mimosas, just totally stress-free before my wedding. We received so many compliments on how elegant our wedding was, and there's no way it could not have happened without Rey and her phenomenal team there to make our special day magical. From planning to coordination, Rey is a pro! We can't wait to use her services for future events.

Rey coordinated a wedding we shot last weekend. As a wedding photographer we are always so happy when the bride has a coordinator. It keeps us from having to bother the bride with any questions, and usually means a smooth and well transitioned wedding. Rey was hands down the BEST coordinator we have worked with. I was impressed with her ability to keep such a large group of guests organized, she kept up with the timeline without making people feel rushed. Sometimes weddings have a mind of their own so when one of the bridesmaids was running a little behind Rey and her team just dove in and started helping. Some other coordinators we have seen would have gotten flustered at someone running a little behind but Rey was cool, and was able to smoothly make up the time in other small areas. She knew when to be in the middle, and when to step out. She contacted us a few times before the wedding to check in, and had wonderful solutions to any questions we had. I hope to have the pleasure and quite frankly the ease of working with Rey and her team again.

To say that Reytheda of Simple and Chic Events is an expert wedding planner would be an absolute understatement! Reytheda is professional in every sense of the word: she is extremely organized, is always timely, and knows her industry extremely well. She was such a great pleasure to work with, and I know without a single element of doubt that she went above and beyond her call of duty to make our dream wedding week a reality! My husband and I hired Reytheda even before we finalized her our date, because we had confidence that she was the person to handle every single detail or our wedding planning process. If there is one thing that I am happy I did, was invest in a professional wedding planner to take care of all the details of my wedding from the very beginning to the very end. As an extremely busy and international bride (I live in Geneva, Switzerland and our wedding week was hosted in Dallas), I needed someone I could trust with my vision, and who would think of my behalf, but who would also consider the needs of my husband. Rey did just that. Not only was she flexible with the time difference issues that we had to deal with, but she also kept me organized with the few things that I had to do. Even though I didn't have that much to deal with to begin with, I remember by the end wedding planning process I was over everything and Rey had to pretty much carry me through it! I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner because I used to be in the industry and had most of the planning completed. However, this was FINALLY my special day and I didn’t want to put my bridesmaids and family to work, I wanted to relax and feel stress free. I did the entire floor plan, timelines, contact information, etc. Her job was pretty simple, follow the timeline, coordinate day of, set things out and pack things up..... I should have seen the red flags from the start. I booked Rey for Day of, which is 8 weeks out. - In the contract it indicated that she would send me bi-weekly checklists. She sent me one of the four required per our contract, only after, I asked for it. - She missed a scheduled appointment for my dress fitting, never acknowledged it or apologized. - Was 45 min. late to the rehearsal, missed it completely and never apologized. - She was suppose to tell the wedding party and family details for the next day and NEVER did. (Had I not hired her, everything would’ve been crystal clear.) - She forgot the programs for the ceremony, (that I worked so hard on, honoring the wedding party and people that past). She brought them after everyone was seated at the beautiful cathedral and just threw them out. - She did manage to make it to one of my four dress fittings. It took a lot of time and money to get the dress perfectly bustled. (She even took a video.) yet, still managed to bustle it incorrectly, so, I was tripping over my dress the entire evening, the lining was hanging out and my husband kept stepping on it. (Disappointing after you spend so much time and money on the dress of your dreams.) - The day of, she sat around at the condo, steamed some of the girls dresses. I asked her about getting my suite case to the hotel room, so she called...... Never followed through, I had nothing but my wedding dress at the hotel, after a long exhausting day. - She was suppose to coordinate all vendors. I told her several times about the musician, that was going to sing ONLY our first dance. He had no mic stand, Bc she didn’t coordinate that and instead of holding it for him, (she had two assistants, as well.... or figuring it out, he sang rushed and without a mic in a huge room at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth) - She was suppose to put food Togo and cake. Guess what, NOTHING! - She couldn’t even coordinate the toasts. - After spending thousands of dollars on flowers, favors, cake and food. NOTHING. It was beyond disappointing. Had I just assigned people to take care of the few small things, it would have been so much better. I’m not sure if it was too many people for her or the package that I chose..... The catering staff was phenomenal, (she didn’t have much to do there), the cathedral had their own wedding planner, (so she didn’t have anything to do for that, either). I only saw her once at the reception. I knew the timeline forwards and backwards without a watch, so, myself and the DJ, ran the reception. Oh, she also, scheduled my sister-in-laws, makeup and never told her, so she was late to the appointment. (I asked Rey if she told her!!!) I’m a fair person and didn’t want to write such a bad review, but would hate for another bride to make this same mistake. You spend so much time and money planning such a beautiful day and then hire this company to carelessly and incompetently coordinate the day.... Spend the extra money and find an experienced coordinator. Rey may have many years under her belt but how many actual weddings? Oh and make sure you take the time to walk around and talk to each table!!!!! I used to tell my brides to do this, when I was in the industry. I should’ve taken my own advise.)

Reytheda was awesome!! I would recommend her to everyone! She was professional, efficient and made my life SO MUCH easier. Worth every penny! I can't imagine my wedding day without her. I didn't have a single stress that day and we start EXACTLY on time. My day was smooth and wonderful thanks to her!!

Rey was amazing! We did the month of wedding package and she went above and beyond for us! My goal throughout the wedding process was to not be a stressed out bride and she made this possible. There were things that she helped us with that we did not even know we needed. We would not have been able to do it with out her!

Reytheda did a great job helping us find vendors and setting up interviews. She was on top of everything throughout the process and had some very creative ideas for our theme, especially a periodic table guest chart (we are both in science)! I'm grateful that my wife and I chose Simple and Chic for our wedding planning. I think Reytheda does a great job of seeing your wife's vision and making it happen, without pushing the cost of the wedding up with things you don't want. At the very beginning of my engagement, I felt as though all the details of my wedding were one big jumbled mess that had no clear vision. I knew what kind of vibe I wanted for my wedding but wasn't sure on how to achieve it! I began working with Simple & Chic in the early stages of my wedding planning and found that my vision could become a reality. The words I didn't have to express my vision were created for me through vision boards, strategic budgeting, and organized step-by-step timelines. Needless to say, my wedding was more than I than what I could ever imagine. People are still coming to my husband and I raving over how gorgeous and energetic our wedding was! The memories we made that night were priceless and unforgettable. If I could describe my experience with Simple & Chic in one word, it would be REASSURING.

If I could sum up my experience with Simple and Chic Events, it would be PERFECTION. Reytheda and her team were extremely professional, kind, patient, and thoughtful. As the bride, my vision would not have come to life without Reytheda. I initially started with another wedding “designer” with a budget of $10K, it literally took a month to get an appointment with her Every Single Time we wanted to meet. For what I wanted (and believe me, I wanted it all) she quoted me some $35K crazy ass number that I would have never been able to afford. From the moment my husband found Reytheda online, our wedding went smoothly. She was able to meet up at any time and any place I needed her to, available via email, text, or call. Even if I had a random idea and sent her a text, she took note and presented me with ideas of how we could make that come to life. My husband was very concerned about budget and I was concerned more with style and somehow she made each component her top priority. We ended up taking her smallest package for her services and it more that paid for itself. She has so many connections that saved us more than the cost of her fee. Including her fee, we got tables, chairs, dance floor, draping, flowers, dessert table (with cake), chandelier, tablecloths, centerpieces, candelabras, candles, photographer, pianist, DJ, and venue ALL UNDER OUR BUDGET. Seriously, we have a miracle worker here. She meticulously shopped each detail to a “T” to make sure it looked like I wanted and made sense for our budget. Not that I want to rant, however I have to say there was one detail that completely made the entire wedding for myself, my husband, and all of our guests. Roughly a month before the wedding Reytheda said she wanted to surprise me with something on our wedding day that she knew I was going to love, but wanted to get my approval (because no one wants bad surprises on THAT day). Although reluctant at first, we agreed because we truly did trust her judgment completely. Fast forward to the day of, and we walked into our reception into our first dance and there is an actual picture of my face freaking out about our dessert table that was done up with goodies, sparkles, and personalized favors that was Pinterest and magazine worthy. All I heard during and after the wedding was how struck everyone was by that table… and I didn’t even pick that out! The best part was that everyone got to take home a little souvenir from the table and I still see them in my friend’s houses proudly displayed. To sum up Simple and Chic events, I would say that if you want a personalized experience from someone that will plan, budget, and direct in a way that is kind, efficient, and effective, then Reytheda is the way to go.

In as little as 4 months, Simple and Chic made my wedding day so beautiful. From start to finish, she gave more than 100%. I wasn't the easiest bride to work with yet she remained professional at all times. If I could do it all over again, Simple and Chic will be the first on my list to call.
