Gabrielle is incredible, her attention to detail, ability to keep all the vendors, the venue (and myself) on task was crucial in order to make all the necessary decisions in time and meet deadlines. We planned for over two years and she was able to manage our timeline so well that we didn't feel too rushed the weeks leading up to the big day and could thoroughly enjoy. Additionally, the vendors she provided for us to select from were top notch. I knew that whomever we selected for the band, flowers, and the photographer were going to be the best - and they were! My husband and I are extremely grateful to Gabrielle for her help planning our wedding last August. We live outside of the US, and Gabrielle was always accomodating finding times to meet with us over Zoom. She made sure that when we were making decisions they were just as informed and considered as if we were able to be closer to our venue and vendors. Gabrielle helped us plan three events over the course of our wedding weekend, and she was extremely helpful in giving us all the steps in the planning process and the deadlines that went with them. Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives, and Gabrielle played an integral role in that. Extremely professional, detail-oriented, and experienced – she is everything you want in a wedding planner! We planned our wedding for 17 months with Gabrielle, and of course it got stressful at times, but we always felt that Gabrielle was steering us in the right direction. She recommended high-quality vendors for us to work with, then coordinated meetings, costs, and other details with them. She was respectful of our choices, but always gave her professional opinion when we asked. Leading up to the wedding and on the day itself, she coordinated among all the vendors, and there are probably a million behind-the-scenes things she took care of that we will never know about. A few of our vendors mentioned to us that we were lucky to be working with Gabrielle, because she is best in class.  On the wedding day itself, it was fun to see Gabrielle (and her two assistants) in their element – calm, cool, and collected. She came and said hello to us in our getting ready suites, and seeing her in the morning put me at ease. We had some last minute table seating swaps, and she reminded me that morning to give her the new place cards. I would’ve completely forgotten otherwise. During the whole evening, Gabrielle anticipated our needs before we even had them, whether it be bringing a glass of water or bringing my extra pair of shoes. She always made sure to be close by so we could easily find her if we had questions or requests. At the end of the night, she and her staff delivered all the items we wanted to save, personal belongings, wedding gifts to our hotel suite. We highly recommend working with Gabrielle on your wedding! She's worth every penny!

I am so glad that my husband and I hired Gabrielle to lead our wedding planning from start to finish. I went into my engagement period with no clue how to even begin with the wedding planning process, so I enlisted Gabrielle to help me navigate the year ahead. Once she came on board, I felt a flood of relief as she gave us direction and guidance, all the while reassuring us that we'd create a beautiful and meaningful wedding together. To say she is organized is an understatement: she was on top of each big and small detail, our planning timeline, day-of logistics, and more. She responded to all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner (and I had many!), always professional, kind, and knowledgable. As most couples planning a wedding don't work in the wedding business, it's great to have someone with her connections on your team! The vendors I hired all spoke highly of Gabrielle - from hair/makeup, to photography, etc. - which meant they were eager to work with her and contribute their services to our wedding day. Each vendor she connected us with was high quality and reliable. Her communication with them was also useful since I was planning a wedding in Boston while I live four hours away in NYC, so I couldn't often visit vendors or venues in person. Lastly, I appreciated the effort Gabrielle dedicated to learning all about the particular customs and rituals at our wedding. We had a pretty traditional Jewish ceremony with several religious aspects, and she made sure to do her research so that she'd be prepared to help with each unique part of the day. Wedding planning can be anxiety provoking, but hiring Gabrielle will help you feel calm and confident that everything will work out in the end. Our wedding was beautiful, memorable, and personally meaningful-- thanks in no small part to Gabrielle's expertise, patience, and guidance along the way.

In July of 2022, after a 2 year delay due to Covid, our daughter was married in Boston, MA. Seventeen months before that when she and her fiancé began their planning, we strongly encouraged our daughter to hire a good wedding planner. She chose Gabrielle Stone of Stone Event Planning, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Gabrielle did an outstanding job managing the “wedding project” for over 1 ½ years prior to the event and ESPECIALLY during the event. Her attention to detail and her logistical guidance were impeccable. Weddings are complicated things with a million moving parts. Staying on top of these things to ensure a flawless wedding is no small job, but Gabrielle pulled it off. We couldn’t be happier and would wholeheartedly recommend her if you are in search of a wedding planner. Her and her team were there whenever we needed them and kept the event running on time. Any small problems were immediately resolved without making excuses. Probably the most enlightening thing to us that demonstrated Gabrielle’s commitment to a well run event was at midnight when the party was over she was STILL THERE! She didn’t pass this step on to her staff and go home! She stayed until the wedding party and parents had left the venue! We were stunned that she was still there. Gabrielle is well connected with the many, many vendors that are needed for a wedding and it was a great help to us. We only have one daughter, so we don’t get to take advantage of her services again, but we would recommend you do!!

We had the pleasure of working with Gabrielle over the past 3 years to plan our wedding. When we had to make the decision to adjust our plans due to covid, Gabrielle was integral in helping us to plan not one but two events! She organized a wonderful micro wedding for us last year on short notice, working with all our vendors to adjust our contracts to a smaller event while simultaneously securing vendors for our delayed reception. She navigated all of the covid regulations and kept us up to date on everything going on. We were still able to have a small intimate ceremony and dinner with all of her help and hard work. Beyond the micro wedding, she then continued planning for our reception this year. Because of the amount of groundwork and prep she had already accomplished, we were able to pick up right where we left off and continue planning the reception we had originally intended. Even through the pandemic, everything stayed on track if not ahead of schedule thanks to her hard work. Both events went off without a hitch, everything handled by Gabrielle and her team seamlessly and professionally. Any requests we had day of were quickly taken care of. I could not recommend her enough if you're looking for a wedding planner. We look forward to seeing the events she manages in the future - they always look amazing!

Gabrielle was an incredible planner and friend to me and my wife as the three of us navigated planning a large wedding through the pandemic. Over the course of three years Gabrielle planned our 220 person wedding, paused due to the pandemic, helped plan our small intimate wedding with just family in 2020, and then helped us re-create our original large wedding celebration in 2021, and all that it brings in terms of evolving dates, evolving vendor agreements, and evolving mandates. Wedding planning is already stressful enough, but working through 2020 and 2021 added so many more challenges - and we really felt like Gabrielle was with us every step of the way to lead us through that process. She is detail-oriented, organized, and a confident executor who kept us well ahead of track through many difficult and unknown circumstances. Her attention to detail and sincere care for the unique aspects of our wedding also really shined through on the wedding weekend as she was able to accomplish so much even through constantly evolving circumstances. Gabrielle is also incredibly communicative - we always felt like she was there for us and willing to jump in to manage changing deadlines, brainstorm creative ideas, or even just share her advice and perspective given her deep experience in the industry. When we give other loved ones advice on how to plan a wedding, we always stress how important it is to work with someone who you enjoy spending time with and feel like you can communicate openly with. Gabrielle is that person for us. We look forward to seeing her continue to execute amazing weddings for so many other people as well!

Gabrielle and her team did an excellent job coordinating and overseeing my daughter's late afternoon wedding with 50 people attending. All the logistics were flawless and smooth, with all the vendors doing their jobs exactly as promised with no glitches or problems. Gabrielle was on top of everything, and was very responsive and accommodating to any last minute items asked of her. The entire 4 hour wedding, reception, toasts, food, etc. flowed beautifully, and we were so pleased and happy with everything. Importantly also, as Gabrielle was hired by my daughter and then fiancee, all of the pre-wedding items were discussed directlyamong them; and, I know that they enjoyed working with Gabrielle and found her advice and counsel to be very helpful along the way.

We had to change our plans due to covid after a year and a half of planning - deciding to move our reception to a later date and instead hold a micro wedding on our original date. The micro wedding was more beautiful than we could have imagined, and we're so happy to keep working with her as we plan our reception for next year. We truly could not have done this wedding without Gabrielle. Even my husband who is super DIY was telling everyone we know to get a wedding planner because of how amazing our experience was. There were so many things that Gabrielle gave me peace of mind on. I was definitely an anxious bride, but my day was PERFECT.

We worked with Gabrielle for a little over three years as we planned our engagement party and wedding weekend. She was timely with her responses, constantly updating us on next steps and what was accomplished. In 2022, we received a call that our original venue would no longer be hosting weddings, we were devastated. Gabrielle quickly found new options that could accommodate our 4 day wedding weekend. Gabrielle is Boston base but we had our wedding in Laguna Beach, she coordinated all the vendors, the hotel, and each small detail in-between and made it a weekend to remember. She planned a welcome dinner, rehearsal dinner, wedding, after party, and a day after brunch and each event went off without a hitch and went beyond our expectations. Gabrielle was absolutely amazing to work, as well as her team, and we could not be happier with all our events she planned. We are already thinking up the next event we could have her plan for us!

Gabrielle was invaluable in helping us plan our small backyard wedding with 10 guests. With only 3 weeks left until the event, we realized we needed serious help in pulling things together if we were going to have an event that resembled a wedding. We contacted Gabrielle and we drew upon her extensive contact list to find a fantastic florist, caterer, party rental company, and photographer for the wedding. We feel like she listened to our ideas and made them reality! She was always easily available by email, phone, or text and this was especially important given our tight timelines and as the even drew closer. She was also flexible to do as much or as little as we wanted. We had a magical night that I imagine it will be unforgettable for all the guests. My first draft of this review end up being four pages long. I scraped that because I know from experience you probably don’t need that much detail (yet) but just know: this is scratching the surface of what I have to say about my and my family’s wonderful experience with Gabrielle Stone and Stone Event Planning. My now husband and I got engaged in December 2016. We live in the Bay Area and knew we wanted to have our wedding celebration in Boston in late summer with about 175-200 people. My parents, who live on Boston’s North Shore and generously hosted our wedding, suggested that we start by finding a skilled local wedding planner who could help make this dream a reality. In January 2017, we interviewed a few different people by phone and found that we really clicked with Gabrielle. Before we even spoke to her, she had us fill out a questionnaire, which I thought was brilliant. It helped my fiance and I get on the same page about what mattered to us, and it signaled Gabrielle’s thoughtful approach (centered on understanding our hopes and facilitating our getting on the same page). During our first conversation, Gabrielle was prepared, curious, clear, firm, and funny. It felt like she got us - what we were/were not looking for, the constraints of our work lives, the way we want to approach this experience. She and my mom really hit it off too. We were off to the races. (I cut about five paragraphs that essentially amount to the timeline of our wedding planning since you probably don’t actually need or want that detail.) The headline is that Gabrielle helped make our dream become a reality, in part by helping us figure out what the dream actually was. She framed all the key decisions; presented us with a tailored set of options that made sense for our priorities, style, and budget; connected us with creative, professional, generally wonderful vendors; built a planning timeline that balanced what she has learned from 13+ years in the industry with our own serious scheduling constraints; and facilitated periodic conference calls to ensure we were all on the same page and progressing as needed. A note about the vendors. One of the coolest, most unexpected parts of this process was coming into contact with an amazing set of creative, talents professionals - from photographers to florists to musicians to make up artists and hair stylists and more. Gabrielle knows the industry and has built strong, enduring relationships with people across it; she helped us select great people to work with, who did an exceptional job delivering on our “vision.” It was a thrill to be part of their processes and to work collaboratively with them. And their work speaks for itself! It says a lot about Gabrielle that every single person we ended up choosing raved about her, her style, and her business. It made me realize anew that we working with a really special woman.

Gabrielle was AMAZING to work with. My now-wife and I started out with very limited knowledge of all the many many decisions, both small and large, that go into planning and executing a perfect wedding. After a couple of months, we realized we may need more help & expertise than the two of us and family could provide. It was then that we reached out to Gabrielle and everything became much easier! From what I understand it was a relatively tight timeline between when we started working with her and our wedding date, but you wouldn't have known it from her demeanor. She was poised, knowledgeable and effective, and carefully led us through each step. It was a great relief to know she was on the case. It felt like she genuinely got to know us, and helped us select vendors that were reflective of ourselves and our vision. Our wedding was also pretty large, and there were countless moving pieces, locations, needs, travelling guests, etc. Needless to say, the day itself was absolutely perfect in every way and I have no doubt that is due in very large part to Gabrielle & her team's efforts and execution.

Thanks to Gabrielle we had a wonderful experience in planning the wedding... 18 months from start to finish. Given the fact that my daughter and her fiancée were on the west coast, I was on the east coast in CT and the wedding was in Boston she did everything to make it a seamless process. Her recommended vendors were outstanding. She maintained a detailed record of expenses against budget and she would send reminders before any deposits were due. Leading up to the happy day was lots of fun. The tasting at the Boston Public Library was a wonderful event for both sets of parents, sharing the experience with the happy couple while also listening to Gabrielle’s suggestions. All were right on. She is well organized and absolutely everything worked out as we discussed. As the mother of the bride I did not have anything to worry about on the days leading up to the big day and on the special day... except to take it all in and have fun. Our guests are still talking about the weekend in Boston...many coming from all over the country for the first time. I will never be able to thank Gabrielle and her team for creating such happy memories. Highly recommended!

My husband and I lived in New York when we were planning our wedding in Boston, and although we both went to school in Boston, we know nothing about the vendors or really anything on how to plan the wedding. I realized early on in the planning process that I knew absolutely nothing about weddings and I was terrified of messing up and having a bad wedding experience as a result. Gabrielle did an amazing job with our wedding. She was extremely detail oriented and diligent from the beginning of the planning process (which started ~11 months before the actual wedding started) to the actual wedding. She responded quickly (usually within a few hours) to countless emails from us over the past 11 months, and met with us and our vendors numerous times in order to ensure every detail was accounted for. She saved us so much time and stress by dealing with all the vendors before the wedding so we didn't have to worry about details such as DJ speaker hook-up at the venue, microphones at the ceremony, etc etc. She also has a Status Report that she updates every few days that guides us to what needs to be done in the short term. This process was highly beneficial for us because it guided us to make decisions on time so we didn't have to stress about last minute tasks and decisions. Instead, we had plenty of time in the days leading up to the wedding to practice our first dance, spend and enjoy time with visiting friends and family, etc. As the bride and groom, we only took off 1-2 days from work total between the two of us which would have been unimaginable without a wedding planner like Gabrielle. Gabrielle also has recommendations for all vendors we needed for our wedding at a range of price points. She even brought a sewing kit to the venue on the day of our wedding, which proved invaluable because the groom's jacket button fell off a few minutes before the ceremony.

I can't heap enough praise on Gabrielle and her team. As a bit of a type-A bride, Gabrielle truly kept me sane and made wedding planning less stressful than I ever thought it could be. Gabrielle Stone was an excellent addition to our wedding. She is easy to work with, efficient, and organized. We chose to have a camp wedding out in the Berkshires, so it was an atypical wedding with lots of unusual requirements (i.e. camp bunk lodging). Our wedding is not for another 221 days (but who's counting) and Gabrielle Stone has been invaluable! Gabrielle Stone saved us. My husband and I had a very general sense of what we wanted our wedding to be luck but we had neither the time nor the imagination to turn that sense into a reality. We found Gabrielle, who listened so carefully to us two fairly clueless guys who nonetheless had strong opinions, and with a lot of patient advice offered no matter what hour of the day we needed it, created a wedding that guests told us was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. And she ran interference with our venue (the Intercontinental Boston), which had great food but bad ideas. Ben and I couldn't recommend her more strongly.
