Stone House of St. Charles

I had my wedding at Stone House at the end of May, 2023. I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding day and the grounds of stone house is just absolutely beautiful! Ruth and Mike were super communicative and responded always so quickly and efficiently. The tough part for me was planning my wedding all the way from Boston, so I was not able to go to the open houses due to work. I did however, plan a day trip out and Ruth happily accommodated my schedule and met with me and walked through all the decor and day of details. The bridal cottage is so cute and has all that you need! We ended up getting the bridal booze pkg from booze brothers and they stocked our fridge prior with all the goodies! My guests had a fantastic time and everything just went so seamlessly. And if there was something that went wrong, I sure didn’t notice it! If you are looking for an officiant, I would recommend Terri from Moonstone meaningful ceremonies as well! Terri and Ruth worked so well together and they both made our ceremony so special, outdoors under the pergola. I had a smaller wedding size of about 96. The only draw I would say about the venue with this group size is the reception area did feel empty in areas because I just didn’t have the budget to fill in the spaces. So if you have a similar size, maybe think about decor or pieces you could rent to fill in the area. Other than that, my day was truly magical. Thank you again Ruth and Mike! We knew from the moment we stepped on property, that Stone House of St. Charles was a special place. It was charming and beautiful and it fit the antique and rustic vibe we were looking for. On the website it says you can text the owner, Ruth, and she really does get back with you any day, all hours. We decided to have a very quick engagement and we knew Ruth could get it done for us. She is always available for questions and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about vendors. Her team was very professional, organized and takes care of everything for you on the day of. They have an entire decor closet we pulled the majority of our decorations from which was so amazing! Everything went flawlessly and we have Ruth and her team to thank. We would recommend this venue to anyone.

The best venue!!! When my husband and I began wedding planning, the first and only venue we went to visit was Stone House. After visiting it, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Our guests were in awe of how beautiful it was and the staff was incredible. Ruth is so organized and kept the day running so smoothly. We couldn't have done it without her!

The Stone House of St. Charles is a beautiful venue! All of our guests are still talking about how perfect and beautiful everything was. We have Ruth to thank for how perfect our day was! She is amazing to work with and truly knows everything you need. We got married at a church and had our reception at Stone House of St. Charles and Ruth was sweet enough to give us some tips for our ceremony, such as the traditional and non traditional order of family walking down the aisle and how the groomsmen and bridesmaids should position their hands. It was so kind of her to discuss these things with us because we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t talk to her. We also were still able to get ready at the Stone House and it was the perfect place to start the day. It is absolutely gorgeous! Our hair and makeup stylists were also so pleased because they already had salon chairs and LED light mirrors in one of the rooms. Stone House also sets up and takes everything down after the ceremony and reception! Not to mention… they also have their own decorations you can use. I mean who else does that?! This made the day SO SO much easier. They also have an amazing DJ. One of my top priorities for the day was that the dance floor would never be empty and it definitely wasn’t because of how amazing the DJ was! We are truly so grateful for Ruth, Mike, and all of the workers at Stone House of St. Charles because thanks to them we had the perfect wedding day and all of our family and friends had an amazing time too!

Ruth and Mike were wonderful to work with from start to finish! They made everything so easy and were always available when there were questions. They helped our vision come to life and created our most perfect day. They have an endless selection of inventory to use for decorating for the wedding. Our daughter was married at Stone House of St. Charles and it was AMAZING!!!! The 3 beautiful buildings are so amazing for your wedding day! We LOVED every minute! This is the most beautiful setting for the BEST photos! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The DJ is included, and he was AWESOME and kept the party going! The bartender Booze Brothers were so great to work with!!

Ruth and her team are top tier! The venue is stunning yes but there is so much more that goes in to a wedding. As the mother of the bride, I can say we didn’t worry about ANYTHING as Ruth had the event meticulously lined out. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute without worry. It was refreshing! Ruth made this process so easy! The venue is absolutely beautiful, I was able to use their decor and only had to purchase candles. Ruth made the day flow perfectly and allowed us to enjoy to day stress free.

My husband and I got married at the Stone House this past weekend and it was nothing short of amazing. Ruth, Mike and their entire staff played huge role in making our day so incredible. Ruth was there from the very beginning to the end and every step in between to make sure everything ran smoothly. Aside from the amazing staff, the venue is unbelievably gorgeous. You can tell that Ruth and Mike have poured their hearts and souls into making this property a place that people dream of getting married at. We cannot recommend the Stone House enough!

This is a beautiful venue that has everything you need in one spot. Sycamore Hall was perfect for our 210 person wedding. There are beautiful stain glass windows and exposed wood that we got married in front of in August. The temperature of the venue was something I was worried about with the wedding being in August, but it was cool and Ruth assured us that air would not be an issue. The Bridal Suite (Stone House) was PERFECT to get ready in. As the bride, my bridesmaids, mom, MIL and I were able to arrive early in the morning and did everyone's hair and makeup there. There is a kitchen with a working oven and huge refrigerator/freezer that was great for breakfast/lunch. There is also a ton of space to lay out hair, makeup, stash bags and dresses and just hang out. It was so nice not having to transport from one place to another and loved hanging out with the girls there. As for the Groom's Quarters, I personally did not get to experience it much, but heard that it was a fun place to hang for the guys. I do wish the guys could get into it earlier (only allowed 3 hrs. before ceremony start), but I understand that not everyone in the past has followed the rules that Ruth lays out. It would be nice for the guys to get there earlier for picture purposes. Ruth and Mike have it all figured out in the wedding venue world and run a tight ship. Rightly so because they have several weddings a weekend that are very successful. I will be honest in that I did not get the warm and fuzzies from them when planning my wedding and understand that it is a business for them, but I wish they would understand that this is the one day a bride has and cut back on the harshness via email. If you are someone wanting those warm and fuzzies in which you want the vendor to make you feel like your wedding is of the utmost importance, I would not work with Ruth and Mike. It worked great for us because we followed the rules and listened to what she had to say so there were no issues. When having our final planning meeting two weeks before the wedding, we were interrupted by other people who were coming for their rehearsal, which did not bother me, but communication did not seem to be in line and caused a disruption for our final meeting. Other than the lack of personableness and disruption to our meeting, working with the Stone House staff went smoothly and the actually wedding day was great. Again, they run a tight ship but it works.

This venue is PERFECT. The owners and their team made our day stress free as they took care of everything— decorations, timeline, details, you name it, they did it. It’s also very convenient as the bridal suite, grooms quarters, and reception hall are all on the same property. The property is also so beautiful and perfect for any vision. 1000% recommend!

Great venue! And perfect spot for ceremony and reception in the same place. Many options to choose from for layout of reception as well as the ceremony layout. The house for the girls to get ready in was perfect. The grooms quarters are very nice! Although, we do wish they would have allowed the groom & groomsmen a little more time on site before everything got started. But understand that not everyone follows the rules. Choosing from the decor they have on hand was a plus as well.

the Stone House was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. Ruth and Mike do the absolutely most and made the day go by seamlessly. All decorations, day of planning (including getting us down the isle on time), DJ, set up, etc. was done by their team. I didn’t have to lift a finger or even think about our vendors on the day of the wedding because they took care of it all. If I had to do it all over again I would ALWAYS always always pick them.

Great staff and a beautiful venue. Mike, Ruth, and their team made our wedding day so memorable and special. The planning experience was so easy and took a good bit of the stress off of my plate. Ruth does a great job at making the Stone House into every couples dream wedding location.

This venue is absolutely beautiful. Ruth and Mike were extremely helpful throughout the whole process and especially day of. Ruth knows what she’s doing which is much appreciated when there is so many things happening at once. She did a great job keeping our timeline on track. The bridal house and grooms headquarters were beautiful. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the venue was the entire night.

I don't know where to begin.... I will never be able to express my gratitude for you both... not only for all the love and hard work that has gone into restoring the Cottle family home into a beautiful place for bride's to get ready for one of the happiest days of their lives; or the detail, thought and craftsmanship that has gone into an incredible structure for a couple to exchange their vows and celebrate with their loved ones into the evening; but also for everything you both did throughout the day to make sure it went by without a hitch. I had complete confidence we were in good hands going into the day and I wasn't disappointed. I'm sure I wasn't the most organized bride you've worked with and despite my ability to procrastinate - there wasn't a single thing that came your way you weren't able to handle. You have quite the talent for this - thank you for sharing it with us! It was, genuinely, more than I could have ever imagined. I'm over the moon with joy and love and thank you both so much for all your help in making it possible!

Everything went perfect for our daughter’s wedding. The venue was beautiful and everything we needed was right there. Bride’s house, groom’s quarter, and one venue for the ceremony and reception.

Obviously this venue is beautiful and speaks for itself. We can’t thank Ruth and Mike enough for how wonderful our wedding was! We knew a February wedding was risky but they made sure our day was flawless! Because of the snow storm we didn’t do a rehearsal, however Ruth is so on top of things that our wedding party got in and where they needed to be for the ceremony without practicing. Ruth and her crew did a great job meeting our expectations for decor, the tables and hall looked beautiful. Mike was amazing, he was out the whole day shoveling and making sure the outdoor area was clear of snow and perfect for outdoor pictures and to ensure our guests could enjoy the outdoor space safely! During the reception Ruth was attentive and it was great knowing she was there coordinating with the venders to make sure things behind the scenes were running smoothly. Their DJ was awesome! He played a great mix of music that got all our guests out dancing and our flower girls loved that he even played their requests. Everyone had so much fun from start to finish! We really appreciated how transparent Ruth was with her expectations. She was honest, open and upfront when we had questions or concerns when we first toured the venue and were making our decision about where to have our dream wedding. We are so happy we chose Stone House.

Venue is beautiful but don't be fooled…The owners are a nightmare! You pay a lot to be treated terribly! My 80 year old grandmother had an episode and fainted on the bathroom floor they didn't call an ambulance they called the police and tried to have her arrested!! During pictures the owner told the best man he needed to leave because he attempted to walk past a red rope to get where the pictures were being taken. Telling him to go to another door (that was broken and the MIL was not able to open as he was saying to him to go to that door). They not only need a customer service class, but they need to learn how to be a kind and helpful human. They are very aggressive and try to creat altercations. Total power trip! No water glasses on the table during dinner, and some guests didn’t even have forks. Don’t even get me started on the music. It would randomly start playing during the actual wedding ceremony!! I have worked in the service industry (weddings and receptions too) and I’m shocked at how terrible the service was. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from here.

We were very disappointed with the staff. The owner (Ruth), works hard and is a kind woman. Unfortunately the staff are all relatives- she employs her husband (Mike) and step- daughter. They are two very rude people. When you have a complaint about one of them Ruth makes excuses for them supporting her family member instead of her client. She just assumes you are the problem. My complaints were completely discounted. I was the mother of the groom and the one paying for the event. Almost as soon as we arrived at the reception Mike began yelling at my guests (I mean YELLING and cursing) because they were using the incorrect door. When I spoke to him about it he was smug, condescending, and rude. His daughter (supposedly our lead for the night) had my daughter in tears after calling her a racist. The vibe we got was that they assume their guests are all a bunch of drunks at the outset (we are not) and should be treated as such. I would never recommend this place. It is beautiful but these people do not belong in the hospitality business. I could go on. It was a horrible night. I won’t subject you to everything. There is too much. This might have been just another wedding to Stone House but it’s the only one my son and new daughter will ever have. FYI I’ve seen how they answer poor reviews on other sites. They will try to say we were the problem (this alone should be a clue). We were not.

My husband and I enthusiastically recommend this venue. From start to finish, Ruth and her husband made what can be a stressful process streamlined and easy. They even host multiple events throughout the year where couples can come and look at decor and get ideas for what they would like use for their own big day. The space is kept immaculate and any concerns you have are addressed well before your big day arrives, making the day of as stress-free as possible. The venue was priced incredibly well, and the DJ who is contracted to the venue and included in pricing is so professional and fun to work with. I truly have no complaints- everything was wonderful.

We used Stone House for our wedding and it was the perfect one stop shop. The stone house not only has history but it is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of places to take pictures. Ruth and Mike did a great job answering all our questions and making sure the day was stress free. Stone House handled all the important day of coordination like contacting vendors and setting up and cleaning up the reception hall. Plus the DJ was included and he was great! They made sure everything went smoothly so my wife and I could enjoy our big day. This venue is truly one of a kind and so is the staff. The only downside I can think of is the courtyard is so beautiful I barely spent anytime on the dance floor!

We fell in love with the looks and beauty of the venue and booked once we met with Ruth and Mike and saw their love for their venue and what they do. We were NOT disappointed. They think of everything and make sure that you think of everything and have everything covered for the day of. They were a complete joy to work with! Ruth and Mike made planning and organizing the wedding day SUCH a breeze- they were extremely organized and communicative through the whole planning process. They made sure the day ran smoothly and along the schedule/timeline we had planned. I will say, the only "bad thing" that happened was that the groom's quarter's was opened 10-15 mins. after we were told it would be which left the groom and groomsmen standing outside with their suits, etc. for a little bit. Other than that, no complaints! NUMEROUS wedding guests commented on the beauty of the venue and stated that our wedding was the best that they had been to. Ruth and Mike truly cover it all and make sure you have the best day ever as well as your guests. Book a tour, book the venue, you will NOT be disappointed!

My daughters wedding was held on 7/24/2021, The Stone House is a wonderful place for a wedding venue. Ruth and her staff are AMAZING! We used Salt + Smoke, Artistry Flowers, Wedding Wonderland Cakes from preferred list of venders they all were fantastic. The D J was great and Booze Brothers quenched everyone’s thirst! Ruth and her team surpassed my daughters dreams of her perfect special day!

Wonderful people to work with and the venue is absolutely stunning!!! The Stone House is a hidden gem just across the river!!! Our guests were in awe the entire evening!!!

One of the biggest reason we picked Stone House was the beautiful facility - there were so many compliments from our guests and our photos are beautiful. Stone House allows you to use decor items that they already own which is not only helpful to your budget but it made our day so much easier that many of the items were already on-site when we arrived. Additionally, we did not have to do any of the set-up/tear down. We are so grateful that the staff took care of everything and allowed us to just enjoy the day! Based on Ruth and Mike’s patience/willingness to answer any/all of my questions leading up to our daughter’s big day, I would have sworn we were their one and only wedding... My husband and I couldn't be happier with the venue we chose for our wedding. This place is beautiful, and it's great for couples looking for a one stop shop. The bride and groom quarters made getting ready for the big day a dream. We had originally planned an indoor wedding, anticipating a hot, humid July afternoon, but staff were accommodating and allowed us to opt for an outdoor ceremony to enjoy the unseasonably beautiful weather. We used the decorations provided by Stone House which helped alleviate a lot of stress or added costs if we had to take care of them ourselves. The DJ was amazing and had the guests dancing all night. Ruth had us feeling at ease during our final walk through, and everything ran smooth and efficiently on our wedding day. I highly recommend, without reservations. Thanks Stone House of St. Charles for making our special day so perfect.

Ruth and the entire Stone House staff made our wedding into a fantastic day. We felt like we could truly enjoy our wedding day because we didn't have to worry about setting up decorations, or wonder what the next step of the day was. The DJ was amazing too. All of our guests enjoyed the music and had a great time dancing at the reception. We can't say enough good things about Stone House of St. Charles though. Our wedding felt totally stress free, and we greatly attribute that to Ruth's attention to detail, planning, and accommodating nature.

The Stone House of St Charles run by Ruth and Mike was the best pick we could have made to have a wedding! These two have every detail planned and work well with the couple and parents to make everything special and exactly how you want it. The ceremony was so beautiful even in the heat and ran so smoothly! You don't need a wedding planner - they help with everything! The venue is absolutely gorgeous - all the guests kept saying "where did you find this place?" The added special touches of the lights, the DJ, the music, and the sparklers brought everything together!! Relaxed and had the best time thanks to Ruth and Mike!!

The Stone House was incredible! I stress so much about everything, but Ruth and her team made everything stress free when it came to the wedding day! They had everything we needed plus so much more. One of the amazing things about the Stone House is decor and DJ are included so there is no hassle with finding two key components to the wedding. Also having a place to stay on property to get ready was wonderful. All of the wedding party was able to get ready there and just hang out until the wedding, no driving around the entire day. I definitely will recommend The Stone House to anyone…in fact my little sister is getting married there this year also! Can’t wait!!

It's been almost a year since our wedding at this venue. I waited this long to create a review because honestly, our wedding day was a little bit of a mess. I didn't want to write something out of disappointment. I wanted to think about what I really should share. Let's start with the good. This is a GORGEOUS venue, and I loved it. Still do. Not to mention all of the free, beautiful décor that Ruth has to use. Amazing! Saved us a lot. The pictures ended up stunning. We were able to use all of the caterers we wanted minus one. You have to use the owner's sons' booze business, which is a bummer. We didn't have alcohol at our wedding, and they were really expensive. The size was fantastic for the guests we had and all the guests had a great time. Everyone stayed safe, and it was beautiful. I'm not sure if it was because we were one of the first weddings after lockdown or if we were a Sunday wedding, but the day started off with Ruth showing up SUPER late and announcing to my wedding party that she "hadn't brushed her teeth" and to stay away from her in case her breath stunk. She seemed totally disoriented. I was particularly disappointed in her professionalism because she told me in the meeting before the wedding that I could have a coordinator but that they didn't really do anything. She usually handled everything. Well, she was not put together. My rehearsal was a mess, and she was so not on top of things. My coordinator was running all over the place to figure things out the entire day that Ruth should have taken care of. That was pretty shocking considering how professional she had been at our run of show meeting. Ruth's DJ messed up my music during the ceremony and the reception and seemed totally put off by my music list. He admitted to not preparing before the day of, and he was putting music together 45 min before the ceremony. The groomsmen and groom were locked out of the dressing area until after Ruth's approved/set time for whatever reason (they refused to unlock it) and stood outside sweating like crazy 30 min before photos. We couldn't understand why they couldn't go in at the approved time. The house the girls got ready in had not been cleaned well. Hair, dirt, dust, etc. was all over the floors before we even entered the building. I was shocked to find it like that during COVID. It was obvious the place hadn't been thoroughly cleaned between weddings. After the ceremony, the groom and I were taking photos, and I needed help with my dress. I was looking for my MOH or mom and couldn't find them. Ruth was constantly around and didn't leave us alone to do our photos and was telling me "you look fine, you don't need them". It was really frustrating because I didn't care about her opinion AT ALL. And she shouldn't have been around us anyways, she should have been running my reception. We also had a video to play before the reception while people waited for us to finish photos, and Ruth and her team never got it up and playing. During the reception, she and the DJ kept coming to the groom and I about timing. It was really frustrating. Overall, FANTASTIC buildings and photos. Absolutely beautiful. Very unprofessional service from Ruth throughout my entire day, and she honestly put a damper on my whole wedding day by her behavior. Luckily none of our guests picked up on the mess!! And I have a lot of happy memories too!

This venue is beautiful! On top of that, Ruth was amazing! She was quick to answer questions and had everything prepared the evening of our wedding. The house DJ was awesome and made a point to personalize our reception. The best part was the decorations were included! It took a huge stress off my shoulders!

Stone House of St. Charles was wonderful to work with. If you're looking for an all-in venue, this is the one. I was worried about decorations and coordinating with the venue, but they already had all of the decorations (and a wide variety). It was as easy as telling Ruth what I wanted, and my vision came to life. Stone House was easy and fun to work with, I definitely recommend checking them out if you want a unique and fun wedding!

Stone House is a beautiful venue and was perfect for our big day. Ruth and Mike were very easy to wish with and made all of our requests a reality. The price for Stone House is absolutely worth it especially when you take into account all of the decorations that they include. They have a large selection of centerpieces, signs, etc that are available to use day of which saves us a lot of money. In addition to including decorations for us to use, the staff also includes all set up and break down. Because of this, we were able to have everything on site and enjoy our day rather then having to worry of our tables we're set up. The day was beautiful and relaxing. We really enjoyed our day and would highly recommend Stone House of St. Charles.

Beautiful Venue but owners are control freaks. They're always lurking to make sure you follow the rules. Made us feel uncomfortable. If you have an option, I would recommend another place!

Stone House is incredibly beautiful. It was everything we hoped for in a venue and more. Ruth & Mike were amazingly organized. All of my questions were answered and every detail attended to. They have so many things we were able to use for the wedding and reception, everything I asked, they had it. The staff was on top of things the day of the wedding/reception, they could see when I had a question and asked how they could help before I even asked. The bride house and groom quarters were top notch, and there are abundant picture locations. I am so thankful we chose Stone House.

We had our wedding on 10/11/20! We picked our date back in 2018 with no clue what 2020 would bring.. Lol. Ruth and Mike made everything so easy to plan a wedding! All of the things they let you use without any extra cost is amazing! I would ask Ruth if they had something I was looking for and of course she did. Thanks for having such an amazing venue and for staying open during COVID! I have to admit that at the beginning of all of this, I was so worried about our wedding, and it turned out pefect.

Everything on our big day was nothing short of perfect! We had to book 2 years out for this venue and it was totally worth the wait! Ruth and Mike thank you for all your help in making the day successful and perfect. We couldn’t of done it without you!!

We had our wedding on the 7th (Labor Day) . Had a wonderful experience. Ruth and Mike the owners are wonderful to work with . We literally only had to be concerned with bridal party getting ready and pictures. The wedding day Ruth and Mike along with staff did everything. Their main concern is your approval. They were so attentive to every detail. We could not have been happier. If you are looking for a venue , take a tour it sells itself . Photo opportunities are endless, no need to go off site . Brides house, grooms quarter’s all in one . Great DJ , catering was delicious, guest loved the food . I honestly can’t say enough about this venue , you have to see to admire how wonderful it is .

We had our wedding/reception here in July 2020 and we cannot say enough nice things about SHOFSC!! It was an absolutely beautiful venue, incredible decorations and coordination. Even in the midst of a pandemic, Ruth helped us through what our options were and how they were making accommodations for COVID. The best part about Stone House is the amazing team. They set up all decorations (whether it’s their in house decor or stuff you bring), pack it all up and make sure everything goes smoothly. I’ve joked several times that all we did the day of the wedding was show up because Ruth and her amazing team took care of everything!! Really, truly cannot recommend Stone House enough!!

I was a COVID bride- given I know everyone was trying their best to accommodate the brides that had to reschedule but mine was this July so I had the luxury of keeping my date. However, my rehearsal date/time was booked over for a rescheduled wedding without me being aware. Other than those obstacles, Ruth was surprisingly extremely helpful, responsive, & ON TOP OF IT! Everything I said she took note, & I walked into my wedding & it was perfect. She didn't miss a thing! She was so helpful when my sisters couldn't bustle my dress so she jumped in & helped me out. The venue is obviously GORGEOUS & it did not disappoint. I am very glad I booked my wedding here. I wish it wasn't during a pandemic but everything worked out- thanks to Mike & Ruth's help. Big kudos to them.

Hello, I am one of the 21 brides that had to reschedule my wedding due to COVID-19. My wedding originally was set for 4/24/2020 but after 16 months of planning unfortunately that will not be our reality due to the guest count restrictions in place. During this sad and unforeseen circumstance we have received less than ideal treatment and responses from the Stone House. They have refused to give us a full refund nor partial refund for our ruined day. Obligating us contractually, even though they are not able to fulfil their contractual responsibilities of a Friday wedding. Further, when we selected a new date we were confirmed and then told that we were mistakenly given this date and told to select yet another date. Apparently another bride confirmed this date the day before we requested it but we were still told yes and even sent a contract with said date. After this mix up we were still not met with any efforts of accommodation and essentially forced to change yet another date as well as coordinate with all of our vendors for the Stone House mix-up. Additionally when we asked to have the weekday pricing instead of a weekend price, since the venue only has weekdays available in 2020, we were told that they were not going to absorb this cost difference and that we had to pay the Friday price even though we were no longer having a Friday wedding. Lastly, even before the COVID-19 our interactions with Ruth have been very cold and calloused. When my family went to an open house of theirs she blatantly ignored my grandmother which put a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth for this venue but at that point we had already put down a deposit. It seemed like we were just another check and the uniqueness of our day was not acknowledged nor respected. It pains me that we are going through this as well as the other brides. It also is horrible because we had very positive interactions with her assistant Erin. Now everyone is impacted by Ruth's bad attitude and behaviour.

We have had multiple issues with this venue. First, they told us we could have any alcohol we wanted before the wedding, then weeks before we were set to be married they said that they were not allowing it. Also told us we had access to property all day. Then changed their mind about that later. Then COVID hit and now they will not offer even partial refund, even though no wedding or rehearsal was had. The venue is amazing, but not worth dealing with person here who will be running the most important day of your life.

Stone House of St.Charles is a dream wedding venue. We got married here in August and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The houses for the bridal party’s to get ready in are convenient and stunning and the reception hall is amazing! We still have guest talking about it!

Wonderful experience for my daughter's New Year's Eve wedding at Stone House of St. Charles! Beautiful setting and atmosphere for a wedding. Kaitlyn choose to be married in a candlelight ceremony in front of the fire place with music provided by a quartet. It was a magical evening, that everyone enjoyed and will remember. Ruth was great to work with and replied promptly to all my emails and text messages. We toured the venue and then attended one of the open houses to get a better idea of what Kaitlyn's vision was for her wedding. This allowed us to see the decorations that you are able to use for the wedding. Ruth would even send me pictures of an item she had done or had, when I would sent a text and picture asking if she had something. This was a life saving for us. While we did bring in a few of our own personal decorations, we choose to use many things that were already there. When we went to the walk thru, we were at such ease because Ruth had it all together. Shout out to Leah, her daughter, as she made me feel comfortable that they had it all together the day of. And they did! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that Kaitlyn and Hunter's Wedding day was amazing!
