They sat down with us and asked how we met, about our jobs, and just wanted to know about us. The communication up to the wedding was flawless with them helping with every detail. And the wedding day itself was perfection. Our coordinator Amber made sure everything went smoothly. She even had a basket in her car for when I forgot one for the flower girl. The food was INCREDIBLE. I'm still getting messages from our guests about the food alone. And the head chef, Jim, is such a wonderful human being. He was so attentive and even came out to stand with me before I was taken down the aisle. Overall, we felt so loved and taken care of by the Stone Mill Inn family and I want to highly recommend them as a wedding venue to anyone considering.

e frame. The bridal suite is HUGE and fit myself, 6 bridesmaids, both moms, and makeup and hair staff without issue. Despite our wedding day being extremely hot, SMI made sure our guests felt comfortable and hydrated before the ceremony began. We received so many compliments regarding the grounds, service, and food. During the entire night, Jim and other staff kept checking in to make sure we didn’t need anything. They are amazing at leading the way and helping you prepare for your day. Nichole, Sarah, and Corinne are all-stars. We are sad that it’s over, but overjoyed we were able to have our wedding here! orked tirelessly to help curate the most incredible experience for us. Amber was absolutely phenomenal and really helped to guide us through the entire process from start to finish. She sent us tons of pictures and videos the day after our wedding, provided support and guidance through some weather scares making sure the ceremony we had hoped for went off without a hitch (thank you again for that!), and made sure that we never wanted or needed for anything throughout the entire day. Jim and Corinne checked in on us constantly and made sure we always had a drink in hand and peace of mind. The food provided in the bridal suite was absolutely incredible. The hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and the meals at dinner were some of the most amazing food! The guests could not stop talking about how incredible it was. We are still getting texts about how delicious it was even days after the wedding! All of the staff truly make this venue one of a kind and you will absolutely not be disappointed if you book with them!

The staff was beyond the best staff ever... even our wedding guests told us how amazing they are. Nichole, our wedding coordinator, was soooo friendly and organized! Not only did she not mind all of the crazy-detail-oriented requests from myself, the bride, but she joined me in it! All of her suggestions were the perfect fit for us, as she got to know us. We felt like friends instead of just 'part of work'. Ken and Karen are the absolute best owners. They came out to greet us and meet with us on multiple occasions! They really truly just want to give their couples the best experience, and will make anything work. Don't even get us started on the late night pizza... this is a MUST! Honestly, we could not be happier with the Stone Mill Inn and will cherish our day forever, so much in part because of this amazing venue and the incredible people who make it wonderful.

Other than the exceptional service, one of the biggest reasons why we chose Stone Mill Inn was just how much is included. We didn't have to worry about renting tables, chairs, or linens, and had plenty of options to choose from. We didn't have to hire an outside caterer, and the on-site food was top notch. We didn't feel the need to hire a planner or coordinator, and the day still went off without a hitch. This saved us a ton of time and stress throughout the planning process and made the overall pricing more transparent. We are so grateful to everyone at Stone Mill Inn for making it the perfect day!! are SO beautiful! We got married infront of the Abbey and then had our reception inside the cozy Mill and it was so pretty but everywhere on the property is picturesque and dreamy. When we toured, Olivia was so welcoming and answered all of our questions. One of the owners, Ken, came out and sat with us for over a hour and it just felt like we knew them for years! You can tell the staff is truly like a family and it shines through their customer service. After we booked we worked with our coordinator Nichole going forward, who is AWESOME! She made it so easy to plan everything, they even sent us helpful tips throughout the months leading up to our wedding. Nichole answered any questions I had and made sure our wedding was perfect. On our wedding day Nichole and Amber made sure everything was set up like I envisioned and that we had everything me and my girls needed in the bridal suite (which is in the house & is so beautiful too!). Fast forward to the day of the wedding and it was truly a perfect day. I had zero stress because the SMI staff made it that way. From the moment we arrived to packing up the car at the end of the night, everything was taken care of! Also, the food was DELICIOUS! All of our guests were raving about it, shout out to Chef Dan & kitchen staff! If your thinking about getting the grilled cheese/tomato soup shooters.. DO IT :) Also Jim, the event manager, was so great and made sure that we had everything we needed on our wedding day and everytime I turned around to ask for something he was already there like he read our minds! Overall if you are looking for a gorgeous venue with amazing food on site and a super friendly staff SMI is it! You can tell the owners, Ken and Karen, and all of their staff put their heart & soul into their venue to make sure every couples big day is amazing. I only hope that one day someone I know will get married there so I can go back and experience it all again!

ues in the area, the Stone Mill Inn was our last stop of the day. We were greeted by Ken and Karen Painter, the owners, who welcomed us into their stunning home onsite. I quickly learned that part of this gorgeous, historic house doubled as THE BRIDAL SUITE. We were then given a tour of the property by one of the coordinators, Amy Flinn, visiting both The Woodlands and The Abbey. The winding pathways throughout the property were lined with moody, modern chandeliers that provided the perfect ambiance. We circled back toward the Mill and visited a picturesque fireplace that quite literally stole the show. Lastly, we viewed a grand, billowy outdoor tent and entered into the Mill. We chatted with Ken, Karen & Amy like seemingly old friends, just catching up and talking about our future. It all felt just right. Anthony and I got into our cars, looked at one another and agreed - this would be JUST the place to get married. We knew that we would be taken care of and treated like family. They delivered on this, and so much more. The entire team at the Stone Mill Inn made the wedding planning process easy and fun. We were treated to a complimentary food tasting, along with our parents, and other couples of the 2024 wedding season. Beyond that, we had two in-person meetings with Amy, as well as a final call over the phone. Throughout the entire process, Amy was so kind, thoughtful, and incredibly detail-oriented. She thought of EVERYTHING, and made the planning process seem not so scary. We could not have done it without her! Now, for the Big Day. Where do I even begin? The day was so beautifully-coordinated and each member of the team at the Stone Mill Inn made this possible. Both Amy and Olivia managed a perfect flow of events, allowing us to be fully present and carefree on our wedding morning. Every single one of my requests was honored, and if something went wrong that day, I still have no idea! Our ceremony went off without a hitch, and we were immediately greeted with appetizers and beverages that never went empty. Jim, Amy's husband, provided THE most phenomenal food and beverage service to us throughout the entire night. They were both there for anything and everything. Even Ken and Karen were present for the entire day. Karen helped me with my veil and draped our legs in blankets as we were getting ready. Ken was outside, making sure every detail would be perfect for us. They even served our guests cocktails. Truly, they treated us like family and it is something we will be forever grateful for. The food was phenomenal and two months later, my guests still talk to me about "the short rib." 10/10 dining experience. And if that wasn't fabulous enough, all of the leftovers, all of the extra cake and alcohol is packaged and waiting for you when you depart. In summary, the Stone Mill Inn was the PERFECT choice in venues for our Wedding Day. The staff and service, as well as beautiful scenery, make for the best wedding Venue in York and surrounding areas. We would do this day a million times over, but we don't have to. The staff of coordinators are outstanding in answering any question, at any time and keeping your wedding day planned down to the finest of details. I always felt like a priority even months ahead of my wedding. The outstanding chef, event coordinator and catering staff, wowed our taste buds with outstanding food and warmed our hearts with service that was beyond top notch! Ken, Karen, Nichole, Olivia and Jim all feel more like family than staff who hosted our wedding and we miss spending time with them already a week later! I am forever grateful that they made our wedding day a memorable success and truly wouldn't change a thing about the day thanks to their attentiveness and high level of precision in carrying out our wedding plans!

Not only did they make the bride and groom feel special and important, they gave just as much attention to families on both sides as well as all the other guests. There wasn't a single detail that wasn't considered. There was always someone to handle, help, or assist with anything. A niece asked the Maitre d what she could eat during the cocktail hour because of dietary restrictions, and he provided her with a plate rather than just telling her what to eat. He was outstanding. The bridal suite was stunning, the grounds stunning, the food fantastic...we received so many compliments on all aspects. As good as the food was when we did the tasting, it was just as good the day of the event. We walked away from this event so pleased, and in awe, at how well they planned and worked with such professional people who truly care about what they are doing. There is no doubt in my mind that they deserve 5 stars and then some! Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable wedding !

My husband is hard to open up to at first- but Nicole took the time to figure out a connection (the Army) before diving into details. This helped him have more of a voice in meetings and feel comfortable with the process. From every last-minute question to the day of random tasks, Nicole did it all without making us seem like a burden or ridiculous in any way. She was everywhere the day of but always made sure I got what I needed and felt confident all day. She does it all- and even helps serve the food! She was incredible in every way and we owe her many thanks! The staff- what is there to say besides- THANK YOU! The bartenders- amazing (the drinks were phenomenal!). Waitstaff- Amazing. Chiefs- Amazing. Owners- amazing! We heard so many things about our wedding but one consistent thing was how nice and helpful everyone was to our guests, along with raving food reviews. My Husband was and still is bragging about our menu! The venue itself deserves its own review- It was gorgeous. The house the bride and bridesmaid get ready is perfect to enjoy a relaxing morning. For pictures, there are so many breathtaking spots. We still only have our sneaks but I am showing everyone because every single picture is amazing! Coming from a family of gardeners- they were impressed with the grounds! Everywhere you look- beautiful lush gardens. The historical Mill is preserved so well that you want it to be in all your pictures! I could write another 5 paragraphs but it all comes down to, we were so lucky to have found Stone Mill Inn. It exceeded our expectations. We had our dream wedding and it was largely because of Stone Mill Inn! We would recommend it to anyone!!

From checking in on us in the bridal suite, directing vendors when they arrived for the day, helping stay on track with the timeline, even making sure we had a cocktail waiting for us at the end of the aisle after the ceremony!! We still get compliments from our guests on how kind and helpful all of the staff were, how beautiful the property is, and how good the food was!! We cannot recommend the Stone Mill Inn enough!!!

We know you are already gearing up for another eventful weekend, and you've been busy with other weddings since; but, we wanted to make sure everyone there knew how much we appreciated your efforts last week and we don't take for granted just how much work you put into preparing for, and making those visions come to fruition on the actual day! We got to see firsthand the many "wheels turning" from the moment the girls got there at 9 am. Your consideration for Natalie's hope to have the ceremony up at the Abbey was genuine and we are grateful that you waited until there was no other alternative but to hold it under the tent, which was beautiful and could not have turned out better! However, the most amazing part was how skillfully your incredible staff ALL pitched in to turn a cocktail hour space into a wedding altar, then break it down again back into a cocktail hour space! We still don't know how you all did so artfully and professionally. And for the weather to break long enough to get pictures up that the Abbey made the day all the more perfect! It is obvious that you care about those you serve. No doubt, you meet many types of people from many different backgrounds with many different expectations each and every week. Natalie and Kieffer are a special young couple (again, our bias shows), and both wanted their wedding to be a celebration! As two public school teachers, they worked hard to make their wedding day special. For our family, marriage is a sacred covenant and their wedding brought together family and friends who haven't seen each other in years. You ALL played such a big part in this and we give thanks for you. We finish with the top 5 things that really stuck out to layman eyes: 1) Amy. She just was so encouraging and positive with Natalie and we are so thankful for her expertise and passion for what she does; 2) Jim. He was always on the go! Again, so friendly and reassuring! 3) Teamwork. There were just so many examples of how EVERYONE pitched in to help (moving benches, checking on groom, FOB, FOG, taking things where they needed to go, setting up, packing up, etc.). This includes the obvious emphasis you put into the training and "togetherness of mission" to the staff. The ENTIRE waitstaff was TREMENDOUS and there aren't enough good things to say about the young men and women working Natalie and Kieffer's wedding. They were friendly, helpful, hardworking, and represented Stone Mill Inn in the highest way possible. 4) Food. It was delicious and we know we threw in a monkey wrench by going a little long with speeches/dances. So many attendees had such glowing comments about the food and appetizers! 5) Relationships with vendors. It was also obvious how welcoming you are to the vendors and just how "hand in glove" those relationships work. Amy and Jim had such great interactions with several! Well, we probably made this e-mail a little longer than expected; however, it really was important for us to let you know what a wonderful day it was and how good you are at what you do!
