This is a great venue to get married! It was everything we wanted and Ashley was a great help through the process!

Stone Mountain is the most beautiful place for either a relaxing vacation or for a wedding! We were lucky enough to have our wedding venue at Stone Mountain. Not only was this the most beautiful venue with breathtaking views, the team was fantastic! We got married in October and had the most wonderful weather. The colors were perfect both at the wedding site and for our first look up on the ridge line. Ashley and the Stone Mountain team were FANTASTIC to work with. They truly made our day special. They are down to earth, helpful and just a fun group to work with. I was impressed by the level of service they provide and even went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly. In addition to an amazing team and a beautiful venue, we loved that many of our guests could stay on sight at the lodge and cabins. The accommodations were perfect and made for such an easy day for our wedding. Extra bonus point, pups are allowed to stay on site and be party of the wedding. They even had a special treat for our pup! Stone Mountain was everything I could want from a wedding venue. However the team truly went above and beyond to help make it a perfect day! We cannot wait to return as guests in the the future!

The venue is absolutely gorgeous and our wedding turned out very beautiful but there were a things that we were very disappointed in. Communication at first was great until we got closer to the wedding and we would send multiple emails that would take about a month to get a response to. My family also had ALOT of problems booking rooms. My parents called and left voicemails 6 times and never got a call in return. I had about 6 different people call and tell me they are disappointed they couldn’t book a room and had to go elsewhere because they were told the all the rooms were entirely booked up , yet when we asked our coordinator in person, she said they had almost all of the rooms available. We were also not told that the pond would be empty in August which was a big shock to us showing up to our wedding day, because the beautiful pond was our biggest selling point and we had a lot of plans for photos in front of it. Lastly, the day of the wedding itself, we had trouble finding the coordinator anywhere a few hours into the wedding (we had a lot of questions) and another woman told us she had left and now she was in charge, but when we asked her questions she would just say “I don’t know”.

My wife Jess and I loved this location for our wedding! Ample parking for guests, a beautiful pond, clean landscaping, plenty of rooms and just a hop away from Lyons. Ashley was very helpful throughout the process and had great recommendations for vendors, many of which we went with. Very accommodating as well in allowing us to do things on the premises the way we wanted to (one of which was having an ice cream truck on site). So happy with how it all turned out!

Such an amazing venue! Stone Mountain was exactly what we were looking for in regards to an easily accessible location that still felt like you’re in the mountains. Ashley and her husband Chris were the kindest people and so she was so hopeful helping plan and execute every detail of our big day! They have the prettiest and intimate setting for your ceremony, down to the cocktail hour in the lawn, and reception tent with cafe lights. The bridal party even had a super private tent to get ready in! I’m so looking forward to having this spot to visit on anniversaries or just fun weekend get always! Thank you again Ashley for all you did for us!

Wow. What a picture perfect day we had at Stone Mountain. Ashley put together our day of plan, and it went off without a hitch. Not only that, but this location is absolutely beautiful. We got to go up to the top of the mountain in a super fun four wheeler and take photos up there. And our guests totally loved the cocktail area. I never had to worry about a thing because Ashley took care of everything and made sure we started on time. Thank you so much, Ashley, for making our day so special.

We have been so impressed with Stone Mountain Lodge throughout our wedding planning process. Like many other couples planning to have a wedding this fall, due to COVID-19 we rescheduled our wedding to next May. Ashley has worked with us through every step of the process and been so helpful and accommodating. It is a stressful time but having a supportive and friendly venue has made a huge difference. We feel so fortunate to be working with Stone Mountain Lodge and cannot wait to have our favorite 100 people enjoy our special day there next summer. We highly recommend Stone Mountain Lodge to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue in the foothills.

Amazing venue, with great staff, and some beautiful views! ❤️ It really has so much to offer. We loved that they had hotel rooms and cabins for all our friends and family to stay at the night before and night of our wedding, it made it that much more special. Ashley was so unbelievably helpful and patient with everything we asked, she was amazing! Its the most beautiful spot to get married, and we are so happy with our decision to have our wedding at Stone Mountain Lodge.

Our wedding was a dream come true. If you're looking for people who not only know what they're doing but also bring their hearts to their projects, do not look any further. Ashley is the best venue manager. I heard from everyone that "something always goes wrong the day of the wedding." Well, not one thing went wrong... and if it did, I didn't hear about it. People still talk to me about how my wedding has been their favorite they've attended. Oh, yeah, the venue... I mean it is TO DIE FOR. And one of the few reasonably priced mountain venues left in Colorado. I wouldn't change anything about working with Stone Mountain. Just. Take. Me. Back.

Ashley helped us every step of the way. Putting our minds at ease and answering all my questions in a timely manner. The venue itself was beautiful and set up just as we had planned. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with their team.

This venue was just what we were looking for. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful setting for our October wedding! Ashley was great to work with at the venue and organized everything well. We also were happy with their other vendor recommendations that we used. All around everything turned out well for a great wedding day for us here.

When looking for our perfect venue for our wedding, we wanted something that really spoke to both my husband and I. I was looking for romantic, natural, and something that gave that Colorado mountain feel. My husband wanted a rustic mountain man feel. Stone Mountain lodge fits all of that perfectly! Ashley was amazing at keeping the day calm and making sure that she really hit everything perfectly to make our day exactly how we had envisioned it. The communication leading up to the day was great and any questions or issues we had were answered immediately. I recommend everyone checks them out! You won’t be disappointed!

Ashley was Accommodating at every step, and provided us with key venue insights to make sure our plans wedding took full advantage of the location. The venue is beautiful and has a perfect Colorado chic vibe that we were looking for. Lodging accommodation options were awesome for all of our out of town guests! It was a perfect day.

Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be thanks to Ashley and her team! The venue was beautiful and the experience was amazing. Our wedding party had an amazing time staying in the cabins.

Our wedding at Stone Mountain Lodge was truly perfect. The venue coordinator, Ashley was such a pleasure to work with. She was flexible and very communicative throughout the process. When we met to decide on the layout and linen colors she saw my vision perfectly. The day of set up was very smooth. The tables and linens looked perfect, and Ashley was very calm and helpful. Overall the venue was just gorgeous. We were concerned about road noise but from the tent/reception area with the band playing we couldn't hear a thing. I also loved the bridal tent. So nice to have fresh air and natural light while getting ready. Almost all of our guests stayed at the Lodge and everyone really enjoyed it. Yes, it is more of a rustic accommodation but I was perfectly happy with that. My husband and I are big outdoors people and our ceremony was in RMNP so it really fit the whole vibe perfectly. All of the rooms were clean and I think my out of state family enjoyed a little taste of the mountains. To me the venue was perfect. Thank you Stone Mountain Team for a perfect wedding day!

Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality. Every staff member was accommodating and kind. Ashley, our coordinator, recommended the perfect catering company (Smoke Shack BBQ) that also supplied great staff members. Everyone was so accommodating with our requests and last minute modifications!! My dress zipper broke and Ashely was there helping smooth over the delay!! All my guests had a lovely time. Thanks again for making our wedding day the best it could be!

We just happened to pass by Stone Mountain Lodge and noticed how beautiful the property was. We worked with Ashley who is just wonderful! She has a very laid back but fun personality and just being around her made me feel at ease. She reassured us the entire time and checked in with us through out the entire process. If there were any questions I had, she would quickly get back with me. The wedding turned out just perfect! I literally have no complaints. I got the beautiful mountain wedding I always wanted and got to have most by guests stay the night with us in their cabins and hotel! HIGHLY recommend!

Our wedding day turned out absolutely incredible and Stone Mountain Lodge was the perfect choice for our laid-back style. The details and different spaces at the venue have so much character and gave our guests some options on how they wanted to spend their time (playing games by the bar, dancing in the tent, feeding ducks at the pond, hanging out at tables outside the tent under tree cover and lights, etc.) Working with the Stone Mountain team was easy and they were all very helpful. I appreciated how they embraced our not-so traditional ideas for the wedding and helped us put them into action. The preferred vendors we went with were incredible - particularly Kathryn Kim Photography and The Butcher and The Blonde food truck. The accommodations are fairly modest, but some of the cabins are just adorable. Many of our friends chose to stay at the venue and enjoyed it. I think this is a perfect spot for laid back couples.

The venue is beautiful with nice/comfy lodging on site. The venue really fit our needs/personalities as a couple. We got to have ceremony/reception/lodging for everyone in the same place. The venue manager who helped me through the whole process (Ashley) couldn't have been better. She was helpful/organized/professional and made sure our big day went smoothly. The overlook where they take you for pictures is gorgeous, and my dog (and best friend/fur baby) was able to be a part of the ceremony, which was important to me. I loved it and have no regrets!

We got married at Stone Mountain Lodge just a couple weeks ago and are still beaming with how perfect our day was. From the start, Casey went above and beyond our expectations. She put so much though and effort into making our day run seamlessly - she put together a day-of timeline for us, made multiple different layouts for the venue when I changed my mind every couple days, was proactive in planning things I never thought of, coordinated layouts and timelines with other vendors, and was just so awesome to work with throughout the whole process. We could tell from the start that she loves what she does and would work hard to make our vision a reality (and she did!). She is super responsive to emails, listens closely to what you want and makes things happen. If you are looking for a venue that is not only a great deal (this one includes SO much for a great price!) but also great to work with, Stone Mountain Lodge is perfect. The setting is beautiful, the trailhead for photos is such a sweet escape to just be with your new husband for a moment of quiet, and the separate spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception make the whole venue feel very grand. We loved every minute of our special day and are so excited to come back soon to stay on the property and reminisce.

This venue is a dream come true! Our expectations were exceeded and we could not be more happy with our choice of venue and the staff at Stone Mountain Lodge. This venue features stunning views and convenient onsite accommodations for guests. The staff at Stone Mountain Lodge was always accommodating and helpful to us throughout the process and also to our guests during their stay at the cabins, almost a month after the event our guests still speak fondly of the staff. Plus they were able to recommend great vendors which facilitated the process and relieved a lot of stress. The location of the ceremony is conveniently in walking distance from the reception area. Nestled cozily in the mountainside, this venue offers the perfect touch of nature and was just what we dreamed of for our special day. The scenery is gorgeous and pictures do not do it justice! Ashley at Stone Mountain Lodge helped us make the event everything we dreamed of and more.

This place is truly amazing! Everything from the staff to the views are absolutely beautiful! Ceremony and reception are in the same place, with a separate area for cocktail hour. We had a bohemian, laidback kind of garden wedding and this venue was perfect for us! You really don’t need to decorate much since the property is so gorgeous. The staff truly cares about every little part of your big day! They even drive you, your spouse and photographer up the ridge in their at. To get pictures of the mountain range! Shout out to Casey for making our day better than we could have imagined! Everything about our day was perfect, and I couldn’t have imagined a better place to have our wedding!

Ashley and crew were the best! The venue was beautiful and they did everything they could to make our dream wedding come true. Ashley made the walk through, the rehearsal and the wedding day feel like a breeze.

Ashley and crew were amazing. We booked the entire venue for our 9/9/17 wedding. The ceremony site is gorgeous, and the reception area was perfect, especially how it is all within walking distance of the outdoor bar area (for games!) and the motel rooms/ cabins. Everyone loved it, and working with Ashley was a breeze. The rooms are being updated and all of our guests were happy with their rooms. No problems at all with our day, and in fact it was perfect :)

These guys are amazing! They were so incredibly helpful, leading up the wedding and the day of, very professional and also fun. You can tell that they very much enjoy what they do, and really know what they are doing. They've made a lot of improvements in a short amount of time: room updates, grooming of the nature surrounding and within the venue, a new dance floor, etc. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well. Worth every penny! Everyone loved the venue and are still commenting on it, months later!

This is a laid-back, beautiful place to have a wedding. My husband and I got married here in September and reserved all 6 cabins, as well as a good number of the rooms. Our guests were happy and had a great time eating tacos and dancing! Even though she's not a "wedding planner," Ashley helped us out so much from making decisions about the tables to our rehearsal to day-of decisions...she was flexible, efficient, smart, and had a great attitude. Also, the bridal tent was a great perk and we had so much fun getting ready! I really felt like I was able to make this wedding just how I wanted it: no frills, just a beautiful celebration in a beautiful place with great people and food and drinks. If that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd highly recommend checking out SML.

Stone Mountain was the best place we could have picked for our daughters wedding! They were very nice and helpful! Answered ever question we had in a timely manner! We highly recommend them!

We had a beautiful day at Stone Mountain Lodge. The owners (new, as of 2016) went out of their way to help us create the vision we wanted, instead of trying to push us into a cookie cutter schedule the way some other venues do. We did have a power outage (not their fault), and they went above and beyond to help keep the party moving until the city could get the power back on. Loved them, and we look forward to going back for a getaway night on our anniversary.

Disaster & disappointment leading up to my wedding day, will not alter my review until they own up to their promises

I had a great time at stone mountain the best part was that the staff knew exactly what to do and made my day at ease, down side it rained on my wedding but they still came up with another plan and kept watch for my day! Ashley was such a great help from getting all my paperwork done to my walk through to rehearsal! Then finally me walking on the big day! I would definitely recommend this place to others! The rooms need some updating but that really wasn't on my big list of priorities for my wedding day. Over all 4 stars bc the rain and the shape of the room we stayed in !

SM was a beautiful setting to have our wedding this past July. Yes, it’s a little out of the way and yes, if you look at reviews from a year ago, some of their facilities used to be damaged by the devastating Lyons flood BUT none of that was present or an issue for us. I’m pretty sure all the damage has been repaired by now and the grounds are a picturesque setting for a ceremony and reception. Because they don’t have a lot of people staying there outside of weddings, their office hours for phone calling is a bit more limited. I preferred to deal with email but we never had a problem getting them on the phone if we needed to (because we looked up and wrote down their hours). The cabins are cute! If you’re the sort of person who wants 5 star hotel amenities (like room service), maybe you should look elsewhere but if you like log cabins, they’re really nice. The bathtub in one of the cabins had some issues with not immediately draining, which presented me with an interesting situation while I was dying my hair black (didn’t want to stain my toes or feet) but overall it was a minor thing. I wasn’t in the lodge rooms myself but some of my friends were and when I poked my head it, it seems cozy. Again, not 5 stars but the convenience of having rooms on location so no one has to drive after drinking is far more important to me than room service or an on-site gym (there is a pool however). Convenient again was the ability to rent linens directly from them. We didn’t have to set them up or take them down and they looked great! If you wanted, you could rent an Oskar Blues bus, again making sure all your guests are safe and happy. We had the venue for the entire day (big plus) from 11am to technically 11pm (but essentially they let us party until midnight). We could rent sound systems, lighting systems, extra tents, and more. It was a one-stop shop and that was awesome. The only things I’d say that anyone really needs to be aware of is that cell phones don’t work up there. No service for anyone. You have to go back to the days of preplanning and make sure that people know how to get there (it’s very simple) because they can’t call on the way. There is wireless internet but it’s a tad slow. Because they give out the venue to couples for an entire day, you can’t book your rehearsal date until less than a month from your wedding. When you want to get all your ducks in a row, that’s a little unsettling to have to wait so close to the date but you don’t have to worry about someone else running a rehearsal the morning or afternoon of your own booking. Thanks to Erika (our coordinator) for her professional and prompt attention before, during, and after the event. There’s a ton of ways to make this place a budget friendly venue or an everything-you-ever-wanted-that-money-can-buy venue. We found it to be a great value for our money. Highly recommend.

Amazing! This place was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! The staff was helpful and friendly, and the location is stunning!

We had our fall outdoor wedding at Stone Mountain this October. Carrie was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. She had a lot of useful information right up front which was really helpful to us as a newly engaged couple. We attended a few of their bridal events where we were able to meet and hire both our caterer and florist. STM offered a payment plan, which not a lot of places do, which we spread out over 8 months to make our dream wedding possible and more affordable. We knew we were taking a risk having an outdoor wedding in October, but Carrie set our mind at ease when we talked about an alternative plan, which luckily we didn't have to use. We used very little decorations at our reception because the inside of the tent is already so beautiful with the drapery and the lighting and the outdoor garden area and ceremony area are beautifully decorated by the venue and by nature. The grounds are very well kept and the resident ducks are friendly and non intrusive. We were also able to rent out all of the cabins and lodges the night of our wedding, which was convenient for our guests to have a place to stay after the reception. The cabins are clean, well heated, and creatively decorated. Our cabin, 18, was the music themed cabin and was perfect for our first night together as husband and wife. If you're looking for a stunning setting, great people/staff, and an affordable venue for your wedding, I would HIGHLY recommend Stone Mountain.

These guys were wonderful! During our planning process they were always there to answer any questions and helped us out the whole way! The day of our wedding was beautiful and they were there bright and early to help us with anything we needed. Our event coordinator there went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything fell into place and was perfect for us. The whole staff is wonderful and the property is gorgeous and very well kept and we couldn't imagine our day anywhere else! I would recommend booking all the lodge rooms and cabins for a good sized wedding as we did, as you will get all the privacy you could want. P.S. The ducks are the best!

our wedding was great here, and we heard so many people say how much they loved it at SML! Obviously when you see this place you can tell it's beautiful with the pond and lots of trees and flowers, and the tent has nice windows and chandeliers. You can have every part of the wedding here so it makes the day easy. You get the whole day so you can take alot of time setting up (don't feel rushed). The staff was very helpful, always answering my questions and willing to work with us on details. They let us hang things from the trees and inside the tent. The floor in the tent probably needs replacing soon, but it was just old green carpet, nothing terrible. We easily fit 100 people in and my friend was able to do 140 at hers here. I put 4 stars for value only because they don't have to set anything up but chairs and tables, and have a coordinator there all day so I thought it could have been a little cheaper. Not much less than $5000 is a little much for just renting the place for a day and that little bit of set up. The bridal tent was nice and it does have an air conditioner. They allow a big range of vendors (they do have a list otherwise there is a small fee to bring someone new in). They can't sell alcohol there, so either the caterer has to serve it or you buy it before and have it brought, but you can't do a cash bar if you were hoping to (buying it from a liquor store before is a very cheap and great idea)!

We loved everything about Stone Mountain Lodge for our wedding. We really wanted a back yard feel and that is exactly what we got. The staff was great, the place is beautiful and it's really affordable, especailly considering you get it for the whole day. Warning though- there is no cell phone service there but I LOVED that! If you are getting married there, there is a hiking trail behind the facility that goes to the top of a hill and is a great spot for photos. I would also recomend getting ready in a cabin and bring extension cords. We coulnd't have been happier though with Stone Mountain. LOVED IT!!!!!!

I fell in the love with Stone Mountain Lodge after my first visit and after my wedding I love it more. The venue was perfect for the style of wedding my husband and I wanted and for our personalities. I loved the fact that I could have it all day and not have to be rushed to get in and get out. The staff was friendly and flexible. Gabbi did a great job with making sure everything was just the way I wanted it. I have heard some of my guests say it was the best wedding they have been to and have heard only positive comments from friends and families. I highly recommend Stone Mountain Lodge!!!!

Stone Mountain Lodge is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountain National Park. The location was absolutely perfect, green and lush, next to a pond. Everything was peaceful and perfect for a more relaxed and informal wedding.
