xperiencing it as a wedding venue exceeded our expectations. Our reception was inside the clubhouse, with access to a gorgeous patio overlooking the fairways, waterfalls, and gardens. Many of our guests spent time outside—especially at sunset—which created some unforgettable moments. We also used the outdoor spaces for photos, and the backdrops were stunning. From start to finish, the coordination was exceptional. We worked with Heidi, who was fantastic. She guided us through tastings, helped organize our timeline, and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day itself. The rest of the staff was equally attentive and professional. The food was incredible. We served steak, chicken, and the Minnesota salad, all plated beautifully. Guests raved about the meal, and we were so impressed that the quality on our wedding day matched exactly what we had experienced at the tasting. The bar service was also excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, and we highly recommend Stonebrooke Golf Course to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run, and memorable place to celebrate their wedding.

forward and reasonably priced, and Heidi (the coordinator) was very helpful however slightly slow with email responses. The only thing I would change would have been the aisle I walked down. The space inside did not allow for a straight place to walk, so my dress and veil got caught on the stairs / chairs I walked through. I had to pause and have one of my friends had to help me straighten them out before continuing. If we had gotten married in the summer or fall and been able to get married outside, I believe that could have been avoided. Other than that, I recommend everything about this venue.

The bartenders and servers did a great job. We did a winter wedding, and they had a large fire pit going all night for guests who wanted to step outside for a little while (wasn't too cold). We also really enjoyed the large bar area and liked that it was U-Shaped vs. a window in the wall. The layout is nice, as the dance floor and bar on opposite ends which helps eliminate guest congestion. It had big windows that look good in pictures. The get-ready area near the driving range was great too! We were able to get a hotel block in downtown Shakopee as too with a shuttle for guests. Overall, We really loved our experience at Stonebrooke, and would highly recommend it to anyone considering!

We got so many compliments on the beautiful venue and the delicious food. We also utilized their Getting-Ready House and it was so cute! There was plenty of room upstairs for me, my 6 bridesmaids, and Mothers, and the basement had plenty of room for all the guys. Everything about Stonebrooke was perfect. Our wedding day went so smoothly with the help of Heidi and her team. I wouldn't have had it any other way!

I got really stressed at one point and I think it could have been avoided. Also, for pictures, a classic spot is by the waterfall. Unfortunately this is also a popular path for golfers w/ golf carts. Our grandparents, us with dresses, pregnant people, kids, all had to pause photos and shuffle over for golf carts constantly. Some got gross water splash back from the carts. This added to my stress and frustration. Golfers are a priority to them but this makes sense since it's a golf course. I also heard staff complaining about decorating and that didn't make me feel good. I felt like an inconvenience and I was worried things weren't going well. However, it was comforting to know that my family and guests had a great time and the pictures show that. Stonebrooke is a gorgeous place, I ended up having a great time, and I married the love of my life. Also, the food was incredible. My guests have been raving about the food and Stonebrooke's beauty.

From the ceremony setting on the 9-hole course to the reception being at the clubhouse, it was gorgeous. The food itself was SO good! The appetizers, everyone raved about, as well as dinner. The head chef came out to check on how things were going and he truly is a great chef. You normally don’t remember wedding food, but this one you won’t forget. Overall, everything was an 11/10 and the guests couldn’t believe how wonderful everything was. Thank you for everything Stonebrooke!

They provide tables, chairs, linen, and kitchenware. We had our ceremony at Waters edge. It was a beautiful day and the setting was breathtaking. We love to dance, so the large dance floor space was a huge plus for us! The getting ready suites were a fantastic way to start off our day and made for a perfect area for our getting ready photos. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. The servers and bartenders were kind and efficient. Everyone we talked to had nothing but good things to say about the venue and the food! We had the absolute best time and highly recommend booking at Stonebrooke Golf Club and working with Heidi for your wedding.

The whole Stonebrooke team truly went above and beyond to make my day incredible including switching the indoor ceremony to an outdoor one in 45 min to make my dream of an outdoor wedding come true! They kept an eye on the radar and did everything in their power to make it happen. If I could get married again, I would choose this location and Heidi over and over again. Also, the food is incredible! I received so many compliments on the food and service. 11/10 experience.

She had a vision of what Water’s Edge would look like and what the vibe would be ~2 years down the road.. to keep it brief, she was amazing and there was no detail of our big day that she didn’t have dialed in… recommendations for vendors, day of timeline, rehearsal suggestions, flexibility on every aspect, and extremely genuine and easy to work with. Food was great, staff was wonderful, venue was amazing, guests were pleased, and Heidi was a blessing. 11/10 recommend Stonebrooke Golf Club for your big day.

part. Food was great as well as service from employees throughout that night. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 5 was the communication was poor. We barely heard from the venue coordinator Heidi. She is extremely nice and when she does communicate with you she is helpful. But unfortunately when it is hard to get ahold of the one person in charge of everything it makes you feel like your last on her list and not a priority at all. Especially when your date is coming up. We didn’t hear our final estimate or final payment until the week of which made us extremely nervous and feeling stressed on time. When most other people say they hear from other venues almost 2 weeks prior to their dates. On rehearsal night employees had little to no information about our rehearsal and dinner. At the dinner there was multiple wasp nest at the Water’s Edge location where we had rehearsal dinner, that were never taken care of before our dinner that night, which ended up one of my bridesmaids getting stung when out on the deck. When we dropped off our wedding items at Stonebrooke the night of rehearsal we again experienced employees having no idea about this and me ending up having to explain what I was told as the coordinator wasn’t there. The morning of the wedding we agreed on a time frame for my family to come and decorate for the wedding and when they arrived at the later time the coordinator was no where to be found that morning and employees had no idea where my decor items were and couldn’t help. My family members ended up waiting an hour after they were supposed to start decorating, and could finally start and myself the bride trying to figure out and call the coordinator with no answer until an hour later. All while getting my hair and makeup done. Shouldn’t have to deal with that the morning of when there is already enough anxiety and stress for the morning of the wedding. Come to find out she’s giving a tour of the venue, when my family and vendors were told what times would be okay to start and that the venue would be there for any questions or to help. We also experienced not all my decor items being put out which upset me a lot as I had to go looking for them! Which again I shouldn’t have to deal with as a bride. We felt lost most of our day and felt like we weren’t really priority at all. Especially with how much we paid to have a nice venue. Again, venue is beautiful, food was great and service from employees that night was also great and I definitely recommend the venue for those things. But if communication was number one on your list, I do not recommend unless they hire a second person to help with planning events.

Heidi (the event coordinator at Stonebrooke) was fantastic to work with and often anticipated our needs and was on it before we even asked her. I can’t say enough great things about Heidi and Stonebrooke!

We rented out the club house and I couldn't recommend doing this more :) it was so beautiful and the guys and gals both had so much fun getting ready and golfing. When you book with Stonebrooke you get to have Heidi as your day of coordinator as well. She is very professional and an absolute hustler. She helped with the reception set up and was a great point of contact for all of the vendors. She even jumped in and was serving dinners to guests. I would also like to say their head server that closed out the night was so kind and so helpful. She helped pull off a surprise birthday cake for the groom and helped us understand the expectations for clean up as well. All of the servers and bartenders were top notch and worked their hardest to make all our guests happy. Overall it was a five star experience!! With that said I would like to warn other brides and grooms about some issues we ran into and my hope is this feedback will help improve the venue's service for future couples. 1. There will be goose poop everywhere if you do your ceremony site at Water's Edge. I really wished the facility had cleaned it up. Instead my brother spent over a half hour picking up goose poop with a napkin in the ceremony site around the chairs, arch and aisle. This is something I don't think we should be expected to do. 2. We purchased the club buyout for $1000 and paid for two bartenders. This meant that people not attending the wedding couldn't eat in the reception area; however they were allowed to eat on the patio. The venue was extremely understaffed to serve both our guests and the guests outside. The bartenders although working as fast as they could prioritized people on the patio and folks on the patio were coming in and getting drinks before my guests. I don't have a problem if the venue wants to make more money, but those were bartenders I paid for and if you want to have another revenue stream outside of the wedding you are hosting then you need to have another bartender on staff to serve those folks, as well as separate waitstaff for their food orders. I watched many dishes being served to the guests on the patio while our dinner was very delayed. You need to prioritize the people spending thousands at your venue, or your other option is to staff appropriately to service both groups. 3. We had 170 people at our wedding and that was the absolute most I think could fit in there comfortably. They say up to 250, but that would be miserable. 4. Heidi was a fantastic day of coordinator up until the point that she had to help out with dinner because of understaffing. She worked so hard and I appreciated her doing that, but I think brides and grooms should prepare for this and hire a night of coordinator to be there if you have a plan you are trying to stick to because Heidi clearly did the correct thing by getting folks served, but other events of the night got discombobulated because of it. Overall this feedback is mostly to the owner or venue manager that makes decisions on staffing and maintaining the facility. Heidi, the servers, and bartenders were all FANTASTIC! The venue is gorgeous and extras like the clubhouse, ceremony at Water's Edge and buyout were all worth it!!

s of our day at Stonebrook was be the bridal suite at Water's Edge where we had the ceremony. The suite was the perfect place for the girls to relax and enjoy prepping for the day. The club house was a wonderful place for the reception as it allowed plenty of room for our guests to spread out and mingle and enjoy the beautiful views from the deck or from the club house. The food was also amazing and we were very happy with the variety of menu items we had to choose from for our reception. One of my favorite parts of having her wedding at Stonebrook was their amazing wedding planner! Heidi helped us throughout the planning process to help us choose what was right for our vision for the day. She was very thorough and made sure we had all the details in place. I had such a peace of mind knowing that Heidi was going to help pull everything together for us so we could enjoy the day and not stress out about the details. Stonebrook was a wonderful choice for my daughter's wedding and I would highly recommend it!

eception. Obviously COVD-19 impacted our plans but Debbie (the coordinator at the time) was so flexible and helpful and when Heidi took over, we felt like we were in good hands. The venue really provides depth to your celebration. We had groups mingling in all the different areas of the venue (by the bar, dance floor, dining floor, outdoor patio) but all our guests still felt like they were part of the party. Heidi and the catering staff worked together behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly and we felt very confident that they would problem solve if any needs arose. Our guests were very pleased with everything about Stonebrooke and my husband and I were too!
