2020. We decided to post pone to 2022 and they worked so well with making those changes. Fast forward to our wedding day. It was unbelievable! Alivia was AMAZING and absolutely made my day perfect. She did so much more than I could’ve imagined and she was truly incredible and I could never thank her enough! All the staff was so attentive from the very beginning to the very end of the night. They knew what they were doing and never missed a beat. Alivia and the staff seriously turned my dreams into reality and I will be forever grateful to them for that. All of our guests were amazed by the venue and I have not stopped heat compliments about how beautiful it was. Same goes for the food! Food is one of the top complaints and my guests have also not stopped talking how absolutely delicious the hors d'oeuvres, the salad and the BBQ buffet was. I mean I can’t rave enough about how good it all was! Any couple would be lucky to have their wedding at Stonehurst because they will make your day unforgettable!

I knew I could trust her with everything, which made for a very relaxing experience on the morning of the wedding. The venue itself is 10/10. We loved having access to the bridal and groom suites all day as a space to get ready. Our ceremony by the Little River was out of a fairy tale. During the reception, some guests were on the dance floor, others were mingling outside on the patio, or roasting s'mores by the fire pit. Each member of the staff was incredibly friendly and would bend over backwards to help anyone. The food was incredible -- some guests mentioned it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We have heard nothing but raving reviews about the venue from all our guests!!! If I could plan a wedding over again, I would pick the Mansion at StoneHurst in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone there who helped to make our wedding the best day ever!

ciding what to do, Jenna was so understaning and was with us every step of the way. She even allowed us to pencil in our backup date while we were still deciding what to do. Then, once we offically postponed, Jenna made it as painless as possible. As we approached our new date in January 2022, our day of coordinator, Alivia, reached out to us in October to introduce herself and start to get to know us. We mostly communicated via email until our final in-person meeting right after Christmas. She was very responsive and was able to answer all of our questions. Everything was absolutely perfect. We did not have to worry about a single thing the day of our wedding. The timeline worked out beautifully and everything was where it should be in terms of decorations and details, and Alivia communicated with me throughout the morning while setting up to make sure everything was how I had imagined it. We were able to get ready in the mansion suites, which are absolutely stunning, and had such a relaxing morning getting ready. The staff were amazing, very accommodating and friendly. The food was incredible at all points, even the lunch beforehand that we had brought in for the wedding party. The place is gorgeous and everything went exactly how we had imagined and planned. There was only one slight miscommunication in terms of clean-up/pick-up, but in the grand scheme of things, it hardly mattered. I would recommend this venue to anyone!!!

ore the ceremony required for final payment, and didn't explain clearly that they required payment in a certified check. I mailed personal checks to them which arrived the day before the wedding. Alivia at 9 p.m. the night before the wedding called the bride, and told her we needed a certified check and that the personal checks would not be adequate. They finally agreed to a credit card payment, but only if they could cover their credit card fee. A lot of useless agita the night before the wedding. The day of the wedding, Alivia continued to be pretty useless and unavailable. Our photographer handled most of the "day of" scheduling since Alivia (who left her pager in the bridal suite) was texting her boyfriend about what awful clients we were. The rest of the staff did an amazing job and should be commended for pulling this one out of the fire.

l comfortable from the start, and as the wedding day got closer and we began working with Alivia, we knew we were in good hands. They made everything so easy, from date and budget changes to our final meeting and walk-through, answering all my questions in between. By the time our day came, Alivia felt like a friend. Because of her enthusiasm and confidence in her team, I walked into my wedding day feeling calm yet excited. She brought our vision to life, totally having our backs so that we could enjoy the day worry-free. Every single member of the team was so friendly, helpful and professional. The Little River ceremony site in the fall was my dream turned reality. The food was beyond delicious, the trolley such a unique touch and the firepit/s'mores added to the coziness of the evening. Our day was everything we hoped it would be and more, and our guests are still raving. We're forever grateful! secure a spot! I tried my hardest with planning but I’m really no good at it, and was nervous about if I did enough- I’m sometimes a little TOO laid back. However, Jenna and the staff took what we had and made our wildest dreams come true. Walking into the venue that day we couldn’t believe how perfect and beautiful everything looked! I have little direction and it’s as though they read our minds. And can I just say how SEAMLESS and stress free that day felt (never thought that was possible). Our main priorities were that it could hold our 250-300 person guest list, had a large dance floor, outdoor ceremony space with an indoor option is case of rain, and a bridal suite that could fit our large bridal party. The venue checked all of those boxes and the lovely and attentive team behind it all sealed the deal. Jenna and company were amazing. Not only did they answer all of our questions in a timely fashion but helped keep me calm and stayed flexible during the uncertainty of COVID and if we were going to be able to have the large wedding we dreamed of during that time. They also provided a stellar list of recommended vendors. I used a majority of them and was also highly please with all of them. Last but not least, and most important to many - the food was outstanding. Again, due to the large number of guests we had and wanting to maximize our time spent on the dance floor we went with the buffet option. We enjoyed our food and heard nothing but great reviews from our wedding guests. If you’re considering StoneHurst, or stuck between StoneHurst and another venue, make them your top choice. You won’t regret it.

We had to move our ceremony inside due to weather and Jenna and her team made the transition run so smoothly! As a healthcare worker planning a wedding during a global pandemic, I was stressed beyond words. Jenna and the team at Stonehurst continuously took every ounce of stress off of me. Jenna answered all of my crazy late night emails in a timely manner and had a reassuring answer or solution to any concern or problem. The team at Stonehurst simply made it SO easy to plan a wedding (even during a pandemic). Their bridal e-book has every piece of information you could need all in one place. The day of our wedding, everything was flawless. The flow of the day went perfectly and I did not have to think about anything. This allowed my husband and I to fully enjoy our entire wedding day which was truly the greatest gift. Our ceremony was in the forest and was absolutely serene and magical. The grounds provide endless opportunities for stunning photos. The food and the bar was amazing, we are still getting compliments on the food 4 months later! As a matter of fact, we have received so many compliments in regards to Stonehurst, many of our guests still say it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We can’t recommend Stonehurst enough…we would get married there every year if we could!

Everything went so smoothly that our guests didn't even notice that our ceremony was supposed to be outside. I never felt stressed and knew I was in good hands. The food was sooooo good. Our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the food. We went with the bbq buffet and I would highly recommend it to every couple getting married here. My husband and I both loved that we were able to get ready on property and spend the whole day soaking up our day at StoneHurst. This made it super helpful and convenient for all of our vendors. Long story short: book this beautiful venue! It is so worth it.

e simple yet elegant barn- we knew we had to get married there. Since choosing the venue, Alivia (our designated coordinator) was helpful throughout the entire process. She was responsive and timely with any questions we had regarding the planning process. Stonehurst even released a handbook for couples with frequently asked questions, which really helped to guide us through all unknowns of wedding planning. On our wedding day, Alivia was instrumental in keeping every aspect of the day flowing- we truly could not have done it without her. She was on top of every minor detail- from timelines, to decorations, and even finding the favors that we forgot to unload from our car. She was kind, helpful, and a calming presence on a day that can get stressful easily. We received many compliments from our family and wedding party on Alivia’s helpful and positive presence. We chose to have a buffet, and Stonehurst managed the process with ease. The food was PHENOMENAL, and we received countless compliments since our day about the menu (the seafood bake was such a hit!!!). We also chose to have an apple crisp bar instead of the traditional cake, and Stonehurst facilitated our request in the same ease as the buffet. Overall, Stonehurst was a phenomenal venue and we are so grateful to have had them host our day. From the support with planning, the day-of coordination, beautiful grounds, and amazing food/drinks, it was the perfect choice. We would recommend Stonehurst to all couples looking for a supportive and beautiful location for their wedding day!!

We were allowed to pick a back up date in April 2020, several months before we officially postponed. They date came with no extra fees or requirements.. It was just there in case we needed it, and of course we did. Fast forward to July 25, 2021 when we were finally married. The day was everything I could of hoped for and more. Jenna and the entire StoneHurst staff were incredible. They took care of EVERYTHING. My husband and I did not have to lift a finger, Jenna took care of it all. She was there every step of the way and very responsive. She understood our wants/needs for the big day and delivered. That allowed us to truly focus on what mattered most, getting married. Lastly, I promise you, you will be blown away by this venue and the grounds. There is so much beauty on this property. You can clearly tell how much love and effort the StoneHurst team puts in to making sure the venue/grounds are perfect. Your guests will be in awe and your pictures will come out better than you could ever image. I 100% recommend this venue, it was well worth the wait!

At this time Stonehurst had only been open about 6 months so we could only take the venues coordinator, Jenna's, word for how amazing this place truly was. Unfortunately Covid put a damper on our original wedding date and we had to make the decision to postpone a full year. From the very first day of looking at this gorgeous venue to our "I dos" over 2 years later, Jenna and the Staff treated us as if we were family. Every question was answered, every accommodation was made and I can not begin to tell you how impressed every guest was with food, the grounds, And the staff. As a wedding hairstylist and make up artist myself, I have been to so many venues throughout CT and not one has compared to Stonehurst. I can not say enough about how amazing our wedding day was and that's all thanks to Jenna and the Stonehurst family. You will not regret choosing this venue for your special day!

re. I like to see the good in everything so I didn’t notice. Leading up to the wedding communication was all through email and the payment portal, we asked from the beginning that all emails be sent to both my fiancé and I, but every time they would send it to only me. They misplaced a $14,000 check and it took them days to cash them once they finally received them. Day of the wedding was so disorganized, we had no idea what was going on the whole time, our day of coordinator was so hard to find, my poor pregnant maid of honor had to run back and forth from the barn to the mansion three times to try to get information and times from the coordinator. It was going to rain at 12:30 so they tried to pressure us into having an indoor ceremony even though our actual ceremony wasn’t going to take place until 4:30. I agreed to let them set up the mansion as a ceremony site just in case under the impression that even if it was set up for a ceremony my guests will still be able to use the area during cocktail hour to sit down. All of my guests arrived at 4:30, we were all ready to go at 4:30 but the coordinator said that we had to wait because there were a few guests still coming in (no there wasn’t we had guests waiting outside for 30 minutes) So finally 4:50pm rolled around and we got the okay to get started. There weren’t enough golf carts so they had to make multiple trips to drive my bridal party down which added on more time. So ceremony came and went it was beautiful, the decor was placed perfectly. Cocktail hour was a mess. They did not open the doors to the seating area in the mansion so all of my guests were forced to stand. There was not enough staff there that day to accommodate my guests and to be attentive to my bridal party. We had to ask for food and drinks to be brought down. Once our pictures were over we had to hunt down our coordinator again to see what was supposed to happen next but she was no where to be seen. Come the reception, everything was decorated perfectly, that is one thing that I will give the venue, it was picture perfect with my decorations I can not wait to see the photos. My photographer and Dj were the ones coordinating my reception because again our coordinator was no where to be found. We had no idea what to do so they worked together to come up with a plan. We barley got to eat any food. We didn’t cut our cake until 9pm we paid for a 5 hour bar (which is really 4. 5 hours in the fine print- false advertising) we figured that since the reception didn’t start until 6:30 instead of 6 we would get to stay for 30 more minutes. Not the case. So we only got 4 hours of open bar, and the bar staff were rude to our guests. It was really disappointing. Yes in the end the night was beautiful because I got to marry my best friend in front of all our friends and family, but we have never had to work so hard to spend money. I’m not sure if they just didn’t like us so their service reflected that or if this is just common for them but beware. If you do go with this venue please please please get your own coordinator. It will make your day so much better I promise.

ng in our wedding venue search was having trust and faith in the venue staff and we immediately knew we were in good hands. From the little things like never making my emails feel silly or annoying to Jenna literally rearranging the seating plan mid cocktail hour per my family’s request (all without stressing me out) it is very obvious that taking care of me and my guests was Jenna’s number one priority. We had an amazing day in the insane bridal suite and the groomsmen got to chill in their massive grooms suite and play corn hole outside prior to the wedding festivities. The overall feel of the whole day was laid back and calm but still so so special and fun! We got to bring our dog to hangout and take pictures as well which was a huge thing for us! The food was amazing as we expected, we had the bbq buffet and it help up to the reviews. I didn’t see one staff member not smiling and friendly they were all so sweet. Our pictures are stunning and while we had an amazing photographer the photo opportunities are just endless here. I could go on and on but I highly recommend Stonehurst for every reason there is when it comes to having a wedding!

il, every question we had. Especially for it being a brand new venue (the barn), she had such a vision for us even though we were a few of the first larger weddings there. Everything from the food tasting to the set up on day of, we were taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing. So accommodating to our wants and added in a pasta course for us. The filet mignon was a HUGE HIT with everyone! Our appetizers were amazing and the set up was a dream for cocktail hour. The bar area looked like a charcuterie dream 😍😂!! There was not one food item we wished we didn't get. You know wedding food-but not this venue. This was top-notch elegant and superb dining. We had the highest food package and felt it was ABSOLUTELY worth every penny. We were happy that our guests left feeling full!!! It was our dream wedding and dream venue. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing..... well.... maybe picking the hottest day of the year! 🤣Thank you Stonehurst!!!!!!!!! I hope we had the chance to have ANOTHER party together again!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Not only that, but due to COVID, StoneHurst was very accommodating about it being ok if we didn’t hit our target headcount for the space; this was such a relief and was one of the biggest reasons why we didn’t postpone and kept to our original date as planned. Thankfully, everything on the day of went as planned and we could not be happier. Our guests are still raving about the drinks, the food, especially the short ribs and bacon, and just the overall rustic spender of the venue. We had the perfect fall day, which will always be remembered as one of the most flawless and memorable days of our lives. I CANNOT say enough about Jenna and her team at Stonehurst. Jenna was calm and collected helping us navigate our four wedding dates, even when I got so stressed and wanted to cancel the wedding all together due to COVID. She convinced me I still needed to have a wedding COVID or not! Jenna and her team provided some of the best service I have ever seen. The decor, food service, ceremony planning, bridal suites, ceremony sites, and over all property are all exquisite and picturesque. This venue will provide you with the whole package and you should look no further than Stonehurst if you come upon it during your search for the perfect wedding venue. My now husband and I would get married at Stonehurst a thousand more times if we could and cannot thank Jenna and Stonehurst enough for making our day amazing! Ten stars is NOT even enough to describe them; I recommend Stonehurst to anyone who needs an amazing venue from now until the rest of time!

The building, the suites, the bar, the landscaping, and the ceremony site should all be in placed in bridal magazines/websites because they are so beautiful! Everything was AMAZING!!!! We could not have asked for a better day/night! The staff was absolutely amazing and quickly/promptly addressed any issues that came up before it even got to me. It had rained the morning of our wedding and the staff immediately put mitigations in place to ensure I would not have to drag my dress through muddy, wet grass. Most importantly, they always made sure we had a drink in hand and food on our plates :) The bartenders made all the drinks perfectly and I wish I could have taken all the food home with me it was so delicious!!! I will admit, I was a little nervous that there was another wedding happening in the Barn the same night, but I truly did not even notice it at all! The staff did so well at making sure everything with the two weddings was coordinated so perfectly that I personally never even saw the other wedding at all!!! Had I not been told there was another wedding happening, I do not think I would have ever known based on how well everything was kept separate! Lastly, I just want to add how great the coordinators were!!! She was there every step of the day making all the behind the scenes happen so I did not have to worry about it at all! I almost teared up when I saw how beautiful the ceremony site and the reception room turned out!! She was so kind and handled all of our questions/issues with such ease and promptness!! I highly HIGHLY recommend getting married at StoneHurst!

he rescue. While at my bachelorette party, my mother found out the news about our original venue and reached out to StoneHurst to see what they had for available dates. (Stonehurst was my dream venue but in late 2019 they had limited dates available) Jenna was extremely responsive and got back to my mom right away, even while being on vacation. Needless to say, we changed the date from September 12 to September 11 and upon our first visit to StoneHurst my fiance and I fell in love with everything it had to offer. The property is gorgeous and the staff was INCREDIBLE! My wedding day went off without an issue and all of my guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how much fun they had! Everything fell into place and I cannot thank them enough for making my dream wedding 100 times better than my original plan!

range getting the new outdoor tent to hold our 45 guests, including our must needed dance floor. Our guests raved about the food and beautiful grounds. The bride and groom quarters were the perfect place to get ready for the big day and not having to worry about setting up any of our decor was a complete stress reliever! Definitely was the perfect day in the middle of a pandemic!

She set up all the decorations in the venue & coordinated with all the vendors. We took advantage of the bride & grooms suites for getting ready which was great cause we drove there in the morning & settled in for the day. StoneHurst provides mimosas & an option for lunch. The grounds are absolutely stunning for photos & there’s so many places to explore. They also have tons of vehicle options for getting around. We were planning an outdoor ceremony but had to move in due to cold weather - however, the inside is just as beautiful & a solid back up plan. The staff helped with organizing sparkler photos & everyone was so kind. It is a beautiful venue with tons of flexibility & options to customize your day. We definitely recommend using StoneHurst for your big day.

ng is absolutely gorgeous and there is such a large variety of backdrops for your photos (you’s photos will look like what their advertising). The best part? Your dog is allowed! Our dog stayed throughout the entire reception and never did we feel like she was unwelcome. Jenna was very personable and great to work with, she even had her first baby in the time leading up to our wedding and still managed to juggle helping us as well as so many others leading into a busy wedding season - still within their first year of opening. The day of went so smoothly it was truly amazing. I put together two table lengths of geometric terrariums and Jenna just came up to us starting unpacking everything and helping set up. Sure some would call it her job, but it’s certainly not her responsibility to help put together all of the decor like that. At some point I had to start getting ready myself & when I emerged I was blown away by the transformation that occurred in the few hours I was getting ready. The food was SO good, and honestly so much better than what we had at the tasting (no offense, just saying exceeded expectations!). Everyone was talking about how good it was, how beautiful the venue was and we received tons of compliments from people saying it was the best wedding they ever attended. Sure some of that is personal planning and guest list, but it definitely would have been impossible to deliver without the venue. One super important thing all brides should take note of is - you have the venue ALL day!!! Do NOT underestimate that! So many other venues only let you come 1-2 hours before, or charge an absurd amount to arrive earlier and in all the venues I contacted none told us you could get there whenever you want or that early. With the new ceremony site and even more experience I’m sure your experience will be even better (if that’s even possible). Thank you again stonehurst & team!!

Taking complete trust in Jenna that The Barns were going to be everything we hoped for, we booked the venue for our September 2019 wedding. Once completed, we were blown away with how stunning the venue was and could not have been more excited with our choice to have our wedding at StoneHurst. In the year leading up to our wedding, Jenna was so easy to work with and timely answered absolutely all of my questions (and trust me, there were a lot). There is also no need to hire a "day of coordinator" because Jenna does it all from set up, to directing vendors, and ensuring the bride and groom have everything they need. We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous day and the whole StoneHurst team ensured everything moved smoothly with directing our guests to our outdoor ceremony, our cocktail hour at The Mansion, and then our reception at The Barns. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. Black Dog Catering is the venues preferred caterer - our guests loved the food and the presentation of the appetizers and every meal was beautiful (we had 4 different options for our plated dinner). The menu choices are extensive and there are options for all different budgets. She made the process so easy and stress free and was so full of detail from the start. She would answer my questions within minutes after sending them. The food was to die for also. my post seeking advice & she messaged me about her venue..SHE FOUND ME. Truly everything happens for a reason because StoneHurst was so much more than I could have ever hoped & dreamed for. It was perfect. The amenities are amazing. The venue is GORGEOUS. Jenna was so easy to work with and made my day one I will never forget. It's brand new and the small touches Jenna designed really pulls the whole venue together. Included with StoneHurst is a Bridal Suite with a private bathroom, a man cave above the bridal suite (so no chance of the bride and groom seeing each other), beautiful restrooms, handicap accessible, all on one floor, gorgeous lighting, plenty of outlets for lights and decorating, it has heat, a/c..its comfortable no matter what time of year. No back up plans needed or emergency rentals such as tents, bathrooms, heaters, tables, chairs...its all there! The staff is so attentive & nice. My guests raved about everything. You can without worry have your wedding inside if the weather turns. No other venue compares to StoneHurst. It was the only venue that truly had it all. I didn't have to worry bout anything the day of my wedding..how many brides can say that? I HIGHLY recommend checking them out. Jenna will make your day as special as she did mine.

and all I saw was dirt and some walls - but I could see Jenna's vision and it sold me. I am so glad because we had such an amazingly perfect day. This venue may be brand new but the staff and help are experienced, hard working and talented - all our guests raved about everything from the service to the food and drinks it was honest to god the best night of my life!!!
