Good will. Integrity. Caring about your happiness and the success of your event.
I’m sure all of these things used to be embraced by Stonehurst Manor. But now?
Greed.

e new face of Stonehurst Manor, which was bought and paid for by new owners and now they are trying to wring it dry.
Let me ask you, do you think chicken fingers cost as much as prime rib? We didn’t and neither did the event coordinator, which is why she put it in writing, but the owner(s) sure did. The day after the wedding we were told the coordinator “misspoke” and that we’d be paying the full price agreed on the contract for food that was not on the contract.
Reviews from previous years made this place sound like heaven, but buyer beware, these new owners are no angels.
If you are looking to have your wedding at Stonehurst Manor, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. I would leave zero stars if I could. They had us prepay for our wedding, telling...
us that we would get credits for any changes that occurred along the way. Changes occurred and we did not get those credits.
They agreed to serving the children kids meals for a price reduction. We had all of this in writing from them. Then they turned around and charged us as though each child ate a prime rib! After the services were rendered they said they misspoke. The owner refused to speak with us or the Better Business Bureau about this issue. They are liars and thieves, avoid at all costs.
We were able to have the wedding of our dreams on 10/5/24 at Stonehurst Manor and that was largely in part to the help of Theresa, one of the owners. I originally booked the venue ...
when it was under previous ownership and every step of the way after Theresa took over was seamless. We had our rehearsal dinner there the night before the wedding and had our ceremony in the courtyard out front with our reception in the tent out back. The grounds were beautiful and Theresa took care of everything the day of so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She made it so simple and enjoyable and I cannot thank her enough. I would highly recommend Stonehurst as a wedding venue.
Having my wedding at Stonehurst Manor was an absolute dream come true! I could write a novel on how perfect the day was. Theresa worked with us and accomodated us in every way!
Highly recommend Stonehurst. We had our wedding there in September 2023. The manor had just changed ownership and the new owners JJ and Theresa were amazing. The service was perfec...
t and they went out of their way to be accommodating and helped us provide wine to guests on Friday night and breakfast on Sunday (for those not staying in the manor). They were so accommodating and just fantastic to work with. Everything else was amazing as well.
Book the Stonehurst! My husband and I had vacationed here for a couple years before getting married and we always loved the Manor. We made the easy decision of booking the Manor fo...
r our wedding in April 2022 and we would book them again in a heartbeat! The entire staff was amazing. Heidi is so accommodating, easy to talk to, punctual, professional, organized, detail oriented, welcoming, and was the overall best wedding coordinator that we could have hoped for! Cora is amazing behind the bar, creating delicious cocktails that our guests raved about all weekend. The food is amazing and such a bargain compared to other venue prices-per-plate. Nick and Mia were an awesome team that helped make our rehearsal dinner and entire wedding day meal run smoothly by being so prompt and professional with the meal orders. Each room is unique and special and it was awesome being right on site for the reception and hotel. The 26 guest rooms are the perfect amount and we were able to book out the entire Manor between our family, bridal party, and friends. The on-site condos offer additional lodging and guests are provided dinner and breakfast for free with each night’s stay. The reception is unconventional, as they serve lunch and it needs to end by 7pm, but the party can easily continue outside on the Adirondack chairs, as the Library Lounge (bar) stays open till 11pm. We loved being able to have a morning ceremony followed by an afternoon reception and laid back evening of cocktails and dinner. Wish we could re-live the entire weekend. It was perfect!
We had an intimate wedding ceremony in September 2020. There is so much to say but I’ll keep it short. Our overall experience with Stonehurst was amazing. The food was fantastic, t...
he atmosphere scenic. They worked with us during the pandemic to ensure our party was as distanced and comfortable as possible. One thing I will say, is that communication was sometimes difficult. Their email system seems to be faulty as I could only get a response via phone. My advice to any future bride is to make sure you call! Leave a message for Heidi and she will always get back to you.
I reached out at least five times be it over email or over the phone. On the very first attempt I was able to get through, and disclosed that my fiancé and I pretty much had our he...
arts set on the intimate ceremony package. All that was left to do was set a tour date. The woman told me she would call back with a time. Two weeks later I hadn’t heard anything. I realize she must be incredibly busy, so I sent an email kindly letting her know we were still very interested and would love to set up a tour as soon as possible. Another week of no response. I called in, spoke with someone who was very polite and sweet, and was told they would forward my message to the woman in charge of events, who now two weeks later has still not called me back. I’m disappointed. Their reviews are sparkling and my fiancé and I have heard nothing but wonderful things. We really thought this would be the most amazing setting for our day. Hopefully this was just a fluke, as I seem to be the only one with this issue, and more couples get to experience their dream wedding at Stonehurst.
We absolutely loved getting married at Stonehurst!! The scenery was absolutely beautiful for the ceremony and reception. We loved that family members and guests could stay at some...
of the condos on property. A lot of our guests stayed at the hotel or the condos, so it was such a blast to have everyone staying in one spot! The wedding coordinator Heidi was so kind, she kept everything super organized and on time so we could enjoy the day! A lot comes with this venue, so you can really personalize the ceremony and reception as much as you want. We loved getting married here and we already can’t wait to come back!

The venue itself was gorgeous. We had a fall wedding and the back drop was fairytale like for photos. Dinner was okay- nothing extraordinary.

er Heidi did not make us feel at ease or welcomed. When I asked questions regarding the wedding she would shut me down with no explanation. Please keep in mind I have never been married before, or been in a wedding party. I do not know how things are suppose to work. She told me details that needed to change very last minute (the day of and day before the wedding!) which caused far too much stress on me.
Her attitude was very poor.
Hospitality is suppose to make you feel comfortable. You’re suppose to do what’s right for your guests. Unfortunately I did not receive this treatment.
The Stonehurst was the best wedding venue for us! We had such a beautiful day! The view of the white mountains are amazing, the reception area in the garden is a beautiful intimate...
setting, the food was awesome and Heidi the wedding coordinator is great, she was on top of everything and really made our day so special.
Yes it was beautiful and affordable. My bad experience was more of the way I was treated by the people there. I was made to feel as if I was an inconvenience, my wedding was gettin...
g in way of them running the hotel and the restaurant. I don’t feel like the wedding coordinator was very tactful in the way she spoke to us. The way she spoke to me made me feel uncomfortable. I was being told that the guests of the hotel (not affiliated with me or my wedding) did not like certain things about the way I was doing my wedding and it was interrupting their stay, things that were discussed with the wedding coordinator and had already been planned out. I understand that maybe not everyone wants to stay somewhere that a wedding is being held but I was paying for this and I don’t believe that I should be held responsible for the way they felt. It’s hard trying to get into your wedding dress and feel happy and beautiful while the coordinator keeps coming up and telling you these things when I just wanted to be focused on my wedding and do it the way it had been planned. Maybe if they are concerned about how the other guests might feel they should let them know when booking that a wedding will be taking place during their stay, instead of laying it all on the bride the day of her wedding after getting complaints from them. I know a lot of people gave her great reviews and said she really helped them but I felt uncomfortable and insulted by her almost the entire experience. Im sorry, I’m sure she is great for many people but for some reason that was not the experience I had.
Stonehurst Manor made all of our wedding dreams come true. Heidi was extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process. Our day of wedding coordinator, Denise, was amazing....
She made sure our day flowed seamlessly and made sure every detail was perfect. The customer service at Stonehurst is the best I have ever encountered, and the location and atmosphere is impeccable. We are so thankful for everything they did to make our special day exactly what we wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

sfaction ended up being above and beyond what I expected and all of it for an amazing price! I would highly recommend this venue to any couple! We just loved every bit if it!

dding party do not have to travel. The views from both the ceremony site and the reception tent are GORGEOUS, overlooking the moat mountain range in north Conway. Food is excellent, prices are extremely reasonable
We enjoyed having our wedding at Stonehurst Manor. If you have a strict budget this place is for you. It was the most affordable place around. The setting was beautiful. They offer...
discounts for afternoon weddings on select days. They were very accommodating. There was a wedding the day after ours who rented a tent so they let us this the tent as well for free. There were a few things I didn't like. The wedding coordinator was a bit pushy. She kept trying to get our photographers to hurry up during our formal shots. We paid for a photographer because we wanted pictures so I don't like that she was trying to rush them. Also I didn't like that we got charged for more plates than there were people there. I feel like if they were going to do that they should have offered for us to bring this uneaten plates of food home. They also kept our extra pieces of cake, which we would have liked to bring home.
Words can not express how grateful we are to have had Stonehurst Manor help plan our wedding reception. Peter is the most professional and accommodating person we have ever worked ...
with. He was always there to answer any questions we or our parents had in the planning process, no matter how minute it was. His experience with this profession gave us so much insight and made the whole process go so smooth. We were so thrilled to work with him! Heidi was the most amazing woman to have by our side the day of the wedding! Her thoughtfulness and support made our day go without a hitch. Every possible problem that could have occurred, Heidi was two steps before it preventing it from happening. She even had appetizers and drinks brought out to the bridal party while we were taking pictures! She knew exactly how to handle a “trouble” guest and knew how to make up time to get hot dinner served when pictures took a bit longer. Heidi made sure everything was going how we wished from the moment we got there that weekend until the time we checked out that Sunday. Heidi is a superwoman! We can not thank her enough for all she did for us! Our bartender, pizza baker, and wait staff were also so friendly and were great additions to our wedding. Thank you to Peter, Heidi, and all the Stonehurst Manor staff for making our wedding far beyond anything we could have ever imagined!

ndly. They are also true professionals. You will be in good hands and there is no need for a wedding planner! They make life easy! The food is fantastic, too -- FAR better than at most weddings. All of our guests LOVED it and commented on how perfect it all was -- the setting, all the staff and all the food. It was the perfect day and Stonehurst will always have a special place in our hearts!
Perfect setting for a wedding - lovely grounds for photographs with a stunning back drop.
Food is good, but their side dishes let them down.
