Stoney Creek Banquet and Convention Center

I can’t believe there are no reviews for this place yet! Bobbi was amazing to work with! She made herself available once the deposit was put down for any questions, answered emails back quickly, and was one of the sweetest people I dealt with while planning my wedding. It’s located about a mile and a half off of US-31 after you take the Stoney Creek (M-20) Exit (Exit 140), on the right hand side. The parking lot is gravel and is not very large, but she gives the okay for guests to park on the grass in the front off to the left of the building. We brought a smoker on site for our food buffet and also had an outdoor tent set up outside next to that in case guests just wanted to stay outside. Indoors was nice and cool, the air conditioning running to combat the 85-90 degree temperatures on our day (7/6/2019). We had zero complaints from guests about temperature inside the banquet center. There are two bathrooms on the main floor that guests were able to utilize. She provided extra toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags to use throughout the nice and made sure we knew where all those were stashed in case we had to replace anything after she had stocked it. She provides chairs and tables for use indoors. They were in great condition and we had zero issues with any of the provided equipment. The bar is portable so you can stage the banquet center any which way you want. There was a small kitchenette upstairs with a sink and refrigerator. She set up curtains to provide a hiding spot from the Groom as there is no on site suites to get ready in. The backyard with the pergola was gorgeous. The grass was cut and looked fantastic. We were able to decorate the pergola and she provided lines in case we wanted to hang anything from it. We were able to take possession of the venue Friday until Sunday afternoon. It made it so much less stressful to rush to get things cleaned up by midnight like some other places. We were able to come back Sunday morning and clean up, rather than spending our wedding night doing it. Loved being able to use it the entire weekend. I would definitely recommend Stoney Creek Banquet & Event Center. We had zero issues all weekend with the venue itself! I had zero service on my phone there, so Bobbi added me on Facebook just to ensure that we had the ability to communicate throughout the weekend. That was much appreciated. I would definitely use this place again. We ended up having about 80 guests show up, and everyone fit comfortably, even with the dance floor down on the floor with the table set up. I loved it, and my colors didn’t clash at all with the wood look of the venue (fuschia, black and silver/white). Thank you Bobbi for a great wedding weekend!
