We hired Stacy to help with the vendor planning and after wedding clean up. They did an amazing job and took care of all the cleanup and packing. The venue so beautiful and you can really make the space into whatever you are looking for on your special day.

was so helpful from day one, she gave us so many tips and tricks and recommended different vendors to us- many of our vendors had been to Stony Point before so it was easy for them to set up. She recommended our caterer- Brancatos, and they were fantastic. Lucretia gave us her phone number, so there was always open communication and she was very quick on answering our questions. We loved that they have items to rent like yard games, drink holders, and signs, as well as free items like wood center pieces. The day of and the rehearsal- Lucretia and her staff were very professional with us and all of our other venders. We got to come back the day after to get our things and clean up because there wasn't another event which was perfect. We loved having our wedding at Stony Point and really recommend it if you are looking for a rustic, customizable wedding!!

The bridal suite was the perfect place to gather and prepare for the ceremony and grand entrance for reception. Would highly recommend to any newly engaged couple to snag a date to reserve!

Possibly the best thing for us was the store room on site that carries various decorations – perfect for those little last minute things that you will ultimately forget about. I had glass clusters for centerpieces, and I was able to run up to the stock groom and grab small additions to really help fill them out. We loved having access to the historic barn on site for bride and groom photos, and the field next to the site gave us some beautiful sunset shots. The property offered so many different photo ops, we didn’t have to leave to take any of our wedding party photos – all were on site and they still came out looking varied and unique. Stony Point will set up your tables and chairs, and that is a huge help. We invited about 175 people (around 100 showed up), and we were able to strike tables and chairs to allow more room up until the morning of. We were very budget conscious for our wedding, and Stony Point was the best value we could find. We had access to the site the night before, which allowed for rehearsal at the venue plus dinner plus decorating, and we had the site 8am – 1am day of – which was something I could not find in Kansas City for the price Stony Point offered. I am so happy with my experience with Stony Point Hall. It was affordable, stress free, and let us be out in the country without being too far from civilization (The wedding party stayed in Baldwin City – a five minute drive from the venue). Lucretia was amazing – so helpful and always available for questions and concerns. You will not be disappointed with this venue!

We did the ceremony and it was perfect. Our reception was honestly perfect. Anyone who gets a chance should go check out Stony Point Hall.

ed! Everything on our big day was positively perfect. Our goal was an elegant, but laid back feel... We succeeded in that and then some. Our photographers had a hay-day with the various buildings and props around the grounds.. Not to mention they allow pets! Our beloved dog was able to attend and be our ring-bearer. We were even invited to bring our horses, but opted not to. We received numerous compliments about it being "the most gorgeous wedding I've been to" ... The guests were in love with the whole place! Have your wedding at Stony Point Hall... You will absolutely NOT be disappointed. P.S. - Follow them on Facebook as Lucretia takes photos of decorations from the events hosted there... You can get some awesome ideas on what works for the venue both inside and out!

ork with. As she had told me when I met with her to book the venue, it is the perfect venue for a DIY bride, and that it was. We got so many compliments on the location and overall appearance. It is set out in the country, so it was peaceful. All of the other places we were considering were in the Kansas City or Lawrence areas and just could not compare. Lucretia has the place already set up with tulle, twinkle lights, and couple of chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The outside is nicely kept and maintained with beautiful green grass and plants/potted plants in the front porch area. There is also an air conditioned bride's room in the back of the hall to hang out in if you need to freshen up; it can hold around 10 people I would say.. at least. With Stony Point Hall being out in the country, we had blocked off rooms at two hotels nearby: Baldwin City Lodge in Baldwin City, KS and Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Lawrence, KS. It was perfect since we had a shuttle service that was able to drop off those who could not drive at their hotels that were only 4 and 8 miles away. We had an amazing experience at Stony Point Hall and can only recommend that you look into it early since it really does book up quickly!!

e. We loved that we were not tied to any additional fees or recommended vendors. There are rental items available to make things simple. You can also get married on site, however, we chose a different location for that.
