Writing reviews is not something I do often, but the exceptional service we received from StR Events and Jennifer was too remarkable to go unacknowledged. When we first got engaged I was pretty convinced we could handle the planning ourselves, even knowing we were getting married in another state. That confidence quickly turned to complete panic once we realized how much actually goes into planning a wedding. We actually learned about StR events through a good friend who highly recommended Jennifer. We went ahead and reached out and had a great intro conversation with Jennifer, and that panic was quickly replaced with a peace of mind that we were in good hands-- and were we ever. The best way I can describe the wedding planning process with Jennifer is that she oftentimes could read my mind and put together the words that were just thoughts in my head. That's to say, with every vendor we met with, she knew all of the right questions to ask and would help me answer the ones that I got stuck on. Speaking of vendors, all of the vendors that Jennifer recommended to us were absolutely incredible. As for the day of, this is where Jennifer and the StR team really shined. Our wedding day was actually stress-free for me, the bride. Crazy, right? Well, when you have people working to keep everyone on schedule, dealing with last-minute adjustments, and helping get the vendors what they need, it truly takes a lot of the wedding-day stress off of you. Look no further, StR Events was the most professional, knowledgeable, punctual, reliable, and thorough planning service we could have hired. My wife and I had never planned a wedding before, so we thought it would be a good idea to seek help from someone who has planned hundreds of them... that was an extremely good idea. Jennifer knew what to expect: what could go right, what could go wrong, how to navigate both of those extremes and make sure the day unfolded smoothly. Where do I even begin.. These ladies are the best decision we made during the whole planning process! Jennifer was extremely organized and the best resource during our planning process. We had a long engagement and she was there every step of the way for advice, suggestions and even contract review. Jennifer helped us create the day of our dreams while also offering industry knowledge we would have never considered. The month or so leading up to our wedding we were introduced to Darcy and I could not have been more comfortable and excited from the moment we met with her. Darcy has the most calming and yet excitable energy and was the best resource for vendor coordination, questions and just general guidance leading up to the big day. During the wedding weekend Darcy efficiently lead out rehearsal, coordinated an amazing timeline for our entire bridal party and vendor team and made sure the day went exactly as planned. StR Events was the perfect planner for us! We met with three potential planners and we just knew they'd be the right fit with their attention to detail, amazing service, and a la carte options. We got help with the initial decorating, recommendations for vendors that fit our vision, and tons of help for the month leading up to the wedding and day of activities. Darcy is AMAZING!! We could not have had our special day without this team!

We love Darcy!! This was worth every cent. I didn’t have to worry about anything the month before the wedding. Darcy helped us think about all the things we didn’t consider in our planning and make sure our bases were covered for rain. She had a magical Mary poppins bag full of things I didn’t even know we might need that day (that we DID need): shout wipes, tissues, safety pins, fashion tape, umbrellas. I’m pretty sure if you needed some wedding vows, CBD gummies, an electrolyte pack, or an emergency cell phone charger, she probably had it in there too. Aisle planner was another perk of using StR events. I was able to make my reception & ceremony plan A & plan B layouts for Darcy to see where everything from the vendors would go for setup. Definitely take advantage of this tool, it tracks your to-dos, budgets, vendors, layouts, & rsvps. She gave us 110% and didn’t break a sweat when one of our vendors showed up 3 hours late to set up. She is so professional, she has insight from many past brides experiences & makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she is working this year. I’m recommending her to all my single friends. Best wedding budget money you will spend hands down.

Jennifer is truly the most amazing wedding planner we could have asked for! If you are looking for a planner in Columbus, Jennifer is your girl! Jennifer is extremely organized and detail-oriented and is the reason our wedding weekend was perfect! Where do we even begin… Jennifer really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. We live in California and had to plan a wedding in Ohio. That, plus the fact that we both work demanding jobs, made the thought of wedding planning very overwhelming. But thanks to Jennifer, we found the planning process was FUN & stress-free! She gave us the best vendor recommendations (we LOVED them all so much), helped us manage our priorities, remember details, and kept us on track every step of the way. At first, I tried to be the "cool bride" who didn't sweat the small stuff - in reality, I'm a worrier and probably a bit of a control freak :) BUT Jennifer's easy demeanor, industry knowledge, vendor connections, and organizational skills made it easy for me just to sit back and enjoy the process without stressing. I totally trusted her to bring it all together - and she absolutely exceeded all expectations. We frequently bombarded her with questions, and she was always quick to answer. No words can describe how incredible Darcy with StR is. Incredible is an understatement, too. If any bride is on the fence about hiring a coordinator, Darcy is truly a no brainer! There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are to Jennifer. She was so incredibly helpful, organized, creative, and fun to work with throughout the planning process. We started working with her about a year ahead of the wedding and she assisted every step of the way – working with vendors, managing our priorities, remembering small details we hadn’t considered, and designing our venue space. We can say that we found wedding planning fun, and it was thanks to Jennifer! We planned our Columbus wedding from afar (New York) and Jennifer had amazing recommendations and managed most of our vendor communications. She also designed the space with the florist, and it was MAGICAL. We couldn’t have come up with a better vision, and we still get so many compliments on the décor from our guests. Jennifer of StR Events helped us so much with our daughter's wedding! Our planning was stress-free, due to Jennifer's superb organization and creative ideas. She was great at managing all of our vendors. She went above and beyond, even supplied last minute unexpected items! The day of the wedding was worry-free because Jennifer was so on top of everything. We could relax and enjoy the day. She was very professional and tactful dealing with all personality types, aside from being extremely nice! I highly recommend her and her company!

I don't think we could have survived our wedding day if it wasn't for Jennifer at StR Events. She is the absolute best!!! She is organized, professional, has fantastic suggestions, and was there to help us from start to finish (and beyond). She helped with all the vendor communication, which was fantastic because there was so much to do and keep track of leading up to the wedding. On the big day, she was always one step ahead of us, making sure we knew where we had to be, grabbing us food from the cocktail hour to ensure we had something to eat, and packing up everything at the end of the night. I don't even know where to start. Jennifer was so unbelievably incredible from day 1! We had the smaller package where she took over about 45 days out and took care of everything! She was so accessible and responsive, I could always count on her honest opinion and keeping me organized! She helped us put on the most perfect wedding while simultaneously making sure my husband and I were hydrated and comfortable. Even with planning a wedding in this post pandemic world she was an absolute angel and a joy to work with!

Darcy from StR Events was an absolute JOY to work with! As the bride, I often felt overwhelmed with details but Darcy provided prompt feedback and reassured me throughout the process. I am so grateful for her services on our wedding day as I did not have to think about anything but just be present. She created thorough timelines, made all follow-up calls and was well versed in vendor suggestions. Darcy was on time, if not early, for any vendor meeting and she was ON TOP of answering emails. Darcy was an amazing coordinator for our wedding. My daughter had done 90% of the planning herself, but we hired Darcy for the last month checklist duties as well as rehearsal and day of coordination. She was well organized and thorough. Came up with creative solutions and had helpful suggestions when asked. Rehearsal went smoothly with her direction. We had the wedding at the Grange Audubon center in Columbus which was a beautiful outdoor venue and fun indoor space. A Mariachi band set the mood for our wedding fiesta and the fun celebration continued throughout the evening. I felt Darcy truly heard us when we described the event we wanted to have and did her best to keep us on track. I would highly recommend StR events and use them again.

Jennifer at StR Events was our wedding coordinator, and I highly, highly recommend her for any event planning/coordination! I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else running the show on our wedding day. For starters, Jennifer is extremely good at what she does. She is organized, communicative, smart, and knowledgeable, as she has been in the industry for almost a decade. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her! It was so nice not having to worry about a single thing on our actual wedding day. Another reason why I loved working with Jennifer is because she herself was the point person and planner from the second we started working together. As mother of the bride, I had a lot to do and to keep track of for the wedding. I consider myself an extremely organized person; one who felt that I could keep track of everyone and everything. Perhaps that is true, but having Jennifer was a blessing...before and especially during the big day. She made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, at the time they were supposed to be there. It took all of the stress out of the day and left us with nothing to do but to enjoy the wonderful event that she helped us to create. Rachel and Doug were pleased, and as parents, we were happy the kids were able to have such a special event for such a special occasion. I would definitely recommend her and her team! Our wedding day was perfect and we are confident that could never have happened without Jennifer. We interviewed several wedding planners, but Jennifer just knew exactly what services we needed before we even did. We ended up having a design meeting with her and then the month of service. This was perfect for us. We knew design elements that we liked and some that we didn’t, but Jennifer took all of that and created a cohesive and detailed plan. This was invaluable. It helped us get our planning off to a good start, avoid many common mistakes, and made it easier to talk to vendors. Our florist even mentioned how organized we were and how good Jennifer is at design. During the month of the wedding, Jennifer took over coordination and made sure every last detail had been considered. Many of those important details we would have never considered without her. She also built our timeline and communicated with all the vendors. On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly because she was there to help the vendors set up. She was ready for any possible situation. She even sewed my maid of honor into her dress that was too big! It was so reassuring to have her guiding us to the next thing throughout the wedding and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. In addition to being incredibly competent, she was also friendly and made planning fun. When we started planning a wedding, we read so many reviews that said “a wedding planner is the best investment you can make for your wedding” and this is 100% true. But more specifically, we would say StR Events is the best investment you can make for your wedding.

I really cant say enough about how Jennifer did such a good job at planning our wedding. We could not have done it without her from the bi-weekly meetings to keep us on track from organizing everything we had to do.. it all went so smooth. EVEN when, 3 weeks before the wedding... we added a bunch of things that we had not planned on yet. We managed to double our flowers, add valet parking, add this add that... I thought surely she is not going to be able to make it happen but she did! I am not even kidding.. when I say we added things at the last minute... we added lots of things and all got done. I would highly recommend Jennifer to plan any wedding in the future for my friends or family. The Vendors she choose for us were also equally amazing. Beautiful flowers, a great band, food, linens, lighting etc etc. Honestly, no idea how anyone could do a wedding without a coordinator.. theres just too many moving parts and you're worried constantly that something is gonna break... at the end of the night, I was like.. it ALL WORKED PERFECTLY. Jennifer and her planning was Ace!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Jennifer and StR. Through nearly two years of wedding planning-- including navigating two COVID postponements-- Jennifer kept us and my parents upbeat and confident, and our focus on the end goal: our dream wedding. And did she and Darcy ever deliver! Darcy helped us with the rehearsal dinner and it was a hit; guests stayed for hours after the evening had officially ended. Our wedding was beyond our dreams; Jennifer and team took our vision and brought it to a whole different level. We were in awe. Where do we begin? Jennifer was on top of everything from the moment we started working together. She took the time to get to know us and what our goals for our wedding day were. She took the ideas we had and really put those together into a beautiful theme for our reception. She was very helpful in navigating all of the questions surrounding COVID and never once made it seem like we were not going to get the wedding we wanted. Our wedding day was perfect: Jennifer was on top of everything the entire day, had us ready for all of the different parts of the day, from getting ready, to our ceremony, to all of the happenings at our reception. Jennifer and StR Events were absolutely amazing! She became part of the family after 2+ years of wedding planning and re-planning! Jennifer was recommended to us by our reception venue (The Athletic Club of Columbus), and I am so glad we ultimately chose to hire her! We had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, and I'm not sure I would have been able to make it through all the changes without her help. The best thing about her is that she ALWAYS, ALWAYS answered my texts, emails and phone calls promptly and calmly even when I was freaking out! She also makes really good vendor recommendations - I am really into stationary, so I was pretty particular about the look of our invitation suite and other printing, and I LOVED the print vendor she connected me with. We had 4 small children in our wedding who came in from out of town, and she even helped us find a babysitter for them, so their parents (who were all in the wedding party) were able to enjoy getting ready with me and my husband stress-free. On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly, and I knew she was working hard behind the scenes to make all of that happen. My husband also commented that she was like "a ninja" during the reception - no matter where we were she always managed to find us and make sure we had a drink in our hands! Finally, another thing I appreciated was the CRM that she uses to track RSVPs and seating. I can't even imagine doing that on paper or keeping my own spreadsheet to manage all of that! I would definitely recommend Jennifer and StR to any Columbus couples planning a wedding. Regardless of the size of your wedding or your budget, she really is all about making your day what YOU want it to be. Thanks, Jennifer!

I wish I could give them 10 stars. This was single handedly the best money we spent on our whole wedding. Jennifer and Darcy thought through every single detail and helped us with an amazing planning document that outlined everything we needed to do before the big day. And on the day of the wedding they took care of every single detail. Because of these two my wife and I were able to enjoy our wedding to its fullest without ever needing to worry about a single thing. And when my wife’s dress had a button pop off, Jennifer swooped right in with a huge emergency kit with spare buttons and needle and thread. They literally thought of everything and made sure the whole day ran as smoothly as possible. Make sure you use StR Events, you will not be disappointed!

Darcy was the planner for a wedding I recently photographed and she was such a joy to work with! She communicated perfectly during the month leading up to the wedding and executed the day flawlessly keeping everything running smoothly!

Jennifer Drew and her STR team are truly wedding planning superstars. Hiring Jen as our wedding planner was 100% without a doubt the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. Planning a wedding is very difficult by itself and planning one during a pandemic was incredibly stressful, and Jen made it SO much easier. Ever since we hired her in late 2019, she was always on top of each stage of the wedding planning process, checking in consistently to make sure we were on track (despite the total uncertainty with COVID). We didn't even hire her for the "full service wedding planning" and yet it felt extremely cohesive and caring. Jen is also extremely well connected in the wedding world of Columbus and had amazing yet objective feedback regarding each of the vendors that we chose. She reviewed every contract carefully and was always quick to callout any concerning areas or clauses (extremely important while planning a pandemic wedding) and ended up saving us a lot of money with her diligent eye. My husband wasn't originally sure we "really needed" a wedding planner and after the wedding, he completely agreed that STR was the best vendor we had. They were able to handle all of the last minute details that we certainly would have forgotten about. They also handled all vendor communication effectively and efficiently so that the day of the wedding went smoothly and comfortably. Throughout the day of our wedding, Jen continually checked in on me and my wellbeing, offering a reassuring smile and often a glass of champagne. I truly cannot recommend Jen and her team enough. Do yourself a favor and hire them now! :)

I truly didn’t think that we would need a wedding coordinator but after one meeting with Jennifer we quickly realized that she was going to help make our day so special. Navigating the Covid restrictions while also helping us create the best and most memorable day, she did it all. We truly were able to sit back relax and enjoy every minute.

I hired Darcy in the final hours of my wedding planning and I am SO happy I did! She made everything so much less stressful, she took a lot of the burden off of me, and helped me coordinate with all of my vendors. I knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding, and I will be forever grateful to her for putting up with my anxious emails and texts the last few weeks before the wedding.

I contacted Jennifer with StR Events just a couple months before our wedding this past September because I was worried that executing the day myself would potentially hinder my ability to simply enjoy the day. She stayed in close contact with me throughout the day and when my venue wanted to move my outdoor wedding inside due to potential rain, she advocated for me and kept the wedding outside. From the moment I stepped outside for our first look until the moment I walked inside after our ceremony, it did not rain!! Jennifer (with the support of Lyndsay), executed our vision flawlessly. The flowers arrived before we arrived on site and everything was where it needed to be. She got me a plate of appetizers while I was getting bustled so I could eat. She got me drinks when I was trying to say hi to everyone! She kept all of my important belongings safe and delivered right to my hotel room when she was wrapping up. It was a perfect day, and our best decision was having Jennifer help us with our day. I cannot stress enough that the day would have not gone as well had she not been a part of it. My husband and I were and still are truly grateful and cannot recommend Jennifer and StR Events enough. Absolute best and most worthwhile decision of the entire planning process. As the mother of the bride, hiring Jennifer Drew as a wedding consultant and planner was absolutely the best thing we did. From our 1st meeting with her, Kiley and I agreed she was the person we needed to help with the wedding planning. She met with Kiley and Hartwell several times to discus their vision of their wedding. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and committed to her services. She has great recommendations and is always available for a text message or phone call. With Kiley and Hartwell's ideas and thoughts and with Jennifer’s guidance the wedding was beautiful! She helped with the invitations , RSVP’s, florists, band, dining room layout, organized a detailed time of events, confirmed all vendors and made sure everything was perfect! She was present for rehearsal at the church and instructed the wedding party as their part in the mass. At the reception she handled all tasks and duties. She was excellent! The wedding was magical! The church was beautiful, the outdoor cocktail hour was amazing and the reception was awesome! And the sparklers at the end of the evening were spectacular! Jennifer was the absolute best! Hiring her and the StR Events team as our wedding planner was the best decision we made. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state so having Jennifer's help made everything so much easier. She is so friendly, down to earth and organized. She was also super responsive and stayed on top of me when I was procrastinating. When the big day finally came, it was SO helpful to have the StR team there. They dealt with all of the vendors and made sure that everything was running smoothly which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day with our family and friends. On top of that, I was completely blown away with how everything came together. Michelle with StR Events made all my wedding dreams come true. I don't even know where to start about how happy I was to work with Michelle for my wedding. Michelle was nothing but professional, friendly, and organized during my wedding planning process. I repeatedly tell EVERYONE I know who is getting married that SHE was the best money I ever spent. She took my pinterest board inspo photos and helped me verbalize my dream to vendors to make sure my vision was known. She communicated our timeline to make my wedding day run flawlessly. My husband and I got married on 07/21/2019, and we did a fusion wedding with Reform Jewish and South Indian ceremonies. I grew up in a small town in Ohio that had almost no Jews, and my husband 's family is Veerashaiva (my husband is from CT, his parents are from Bangalore, India), so we had minimal knowledge of even our own traditions going into the planning process. Jennifer (STR Events) was one of two wedding planners in the state of Ohio who noted having experience with Jewish and South Indian weddings, and we were hooked on working with her from our first consultation call. She has the perfect demeanor for this work, with a fierce work ethic balanced by a soft touch, sense of humor, and genuine care for her clients needs/desires. She was honest with us when our ideas would be complicated or outside of our budget, and extremely helpful with providing affordable solutions ranging from vendor recommendations to purchasing cute items for our "Kids Korner" table that she spotted while out at a Dollar Store and texting us. The original package we purchased with her was primarily for taking over 3 months from the wedding and doing day of support, but about 4 months ahead of the wedding we were behind on our planning and when I reached out to Jennifer to see if she could offer further support, and she immediately responded and got to work right away. She found a Chuppah/Mandap ceremony structure (complete with setup, decoration, and all included in the price) for well under our budget, a florist that nailed exactly what we wanted (from table arrangements to garlands), and designed that layouts and stage covering for all of our events (among many other things she helped with). Jennifer also came to all of our Planning Meetings in Mt. Vernon (about an hour away from her offices in Columbus) and never made us feel rushed even when the meetings ran long or another vendor was late. All of our vendors loved working with her, and she was a hit with both of our families, too. She always asked what our vision was for every element of the wedding, and when we had no clue she offered helpful options and suggestions. The day of the wedding she was managing essentially a small army of staff (her two assistants, 6 staff at our venue [a public park], 5 lunchtime caterers, 4 dinner caterers, 5 bartenders, 3 hairstylists, 3 makeup artists, 3 photographers, 2 DJs, 2 Officiants, linen/ceremony structure/table/stage covering rental and setup, dessert delivery, 2 Dhol players, and more), which she handled with ease and grace. We had a swelteringly hot and humid day in July for an outdoor wedding, and Jennifer was prepared with ice cold gatorade and more ready to go for us and our wedding party. At the end of the night it was like magic how everything we brought into the venue wound up back in secure storage at the venue in order for us to pick up the next morning, and Jennifer checked with us about any/everything leftover we had or last minute decisions to make. She also handed all vendor coordination, payments, tip, and so on, which allowed us to truly be present and focus on our big day and the people we love. Lastly, I will forever be indebted to her for--when we were at our most exhausted in the heat and humidity, and people had already begun to disperse--she pushed us to still do a series of family and friends photos after our second ceremony, reasoning that we would regret not doing it later. My husband and I live in different states, and were planning our wedding in a completely different city. I can honestly say Jennifer and StR are the reason we were able to pull off our wedding from afar. To begin with, she sat down early on to discuss our ideas and limitations, and delivered flawlessly on helpings create our dream wedding. She was incredibly professional, communicated thoroughly with us every step of the way, was creative in working within our budget, and provided phenomenal recommendations for a florist, DJ, and photographer. Her participation in the "day of" details alleviated any of our responsibility, and allowed us to enjoy every moment of the day without worries. I never understood why people emphasized the need for a wedding planner. I have worked my entire career in public relations and event planning, and can organize and execute parties in my sleep. We had Jennifer as our "day of" planner and she was amazing to work with, from our initial meeting to finalizing details and coordinating vendors to making sure our day was perfect! We had a lot of people to coordinate, some difficult to keep on a timeline, and Jennifer handled it in the most professional way. Our day would never have gone as smoothly as it did without her!

We worked with Michelle planning a "destination" wedding in Hocking Hills, OH. Both of our families live in Ohio, but we live out of state so Michelle's help was so desperately needed! She was able to recommend excellent vendors, and even though she is based in Columbus, she was able to meet us down in Hocking Hills twice before the actual wedding for planning and then the rehearsal. When the actual day came, while my husband and I were getting ready, she and her assistant organized everything from incoming vendors to decorations to the wedding parties themselves. Can't recommend her enough.
